How many times have the “ISMs” been set by the powerful people in the history of life on Earth?
Democracy immediately springs to mind because it is the “ism” currently in vogue. Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, Colonialism, etc. have sprung up and all of them have failed mankind. “WHY?” you may ask.
Most systems have faults and weaknesses but the reason is actually that they are all man made. Some maintain that democracy is God made, invented by Jesus. Not true. Some of his teachings were in this vain, but he clearly held that we should give unto Caesar what is his, and obey the law. His most poignant message though was that we must love one another, live in a state of love.
Doesn’t democracy just try to take this a bit too far? Or is there an alternate motive in it all?
