This difference is resolution of Women and Men.

Resolution is a universal behavior that made many people in various parts of the world. If a Jew makes a resolution on New Year Rosh Hashanah, the Hindu celebration of Diwali resolution when making any mid-October, Muslims initiate behavior change for the better every time Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, Muharram is also the new year. For followers of the Gregorian calendar, resolutions are made every time the turn of the year of our Lord. Every year, every individual makes a promise to himself to make his life better. Women and men alike had a tradition to make resolutions, but have different priorities.

According to a survey conducted Huffington Post (via an online survey services provider SocialSci and Mechanical Turk), against 230 adult respondents in the United States, women and men have different priorities in the development itself. Respondents answered questions about the custom of making resolutions, including resolutions they made in the past. This survey shows what kind of resolution are the priorities of women and men.

* Exercise: 78 percent of women, men 70 percent.
* Life is more regularly: 74 percent women, 66 percent male.
* More patient: 73 percent of women and men have this resolution.
* Work harder: men 73 percent, 67 percent of women.
* More to enjoy life: 69 percent of women, men 64 percent.
* Stop smoking: 63 percent male, 53 percent of women.
* Spend more time with your spouse: 61 percent of women, men 60 percent.
* Spend time with friends: 61 percent of women choose it, while only 49 percent of men who make New Year’s resolution.
* Stop drinking alcohol: 60 percent male, 14 percent of women.
* Spend more time with your children often: 59 percent of mothers, fathers 57 per cent.
* Lose weight: 57 percent of women, men 54 percent.

This survey also shows more women than men often make resolutions. As many as 63 percent of female respondents admitted they made a resolution every year, while only 50 percent of men who do the same. Women also tend to be more open, to let resolutions that they made to others. While 93 percent of male respondents said the resolution is personal and only for yourself not to be disclosed to others.

What about you, if your resolution and your spouse, boyfriend, sister or brother men, different in terms of priority is also the custom of making resolutions?

The Year 2012.

2012: Will we awaken and find part of the world has been hit by a strange world or has knowledgeable a rapid switch in the position of the southern region and northern posts thus leading to several cataclysmic events? There are several concepts and estimations around the season 2012. Nothing has gotten the philosophy around the 2012 event to the focus more than the film 2012- so much so that even govt departments such as NASA (North National Position Agency) came out to make claims in an effort to assure the community.

But what are these concepts around 2012? The season 2012, and particularly January Twenty-first is the wonderful time frame – the most wide-spread idea forecasts a international modification occurrence to level the end of an historical Mayan schedule lengthy pattern and the beginning of a new one. According to the Mayan schedule, 2012 is the end of a 5,125-year pattern since the last such life changing occurrence.

A connection of times from the Mayan schedule and present-day european schedule is what comes on January Twenty-first of the season 2012. The Mayan schedule is attracted from the She many of Main The united states. The She many survived from 250-900AD. The Mayans are acknowledged with having a professional writing and enumeration system as well as papers maintenance that has since been found and deciphered by modern day anthropologists and archeologists.

Theorists are divided on what exactly will happen on this day. Whereas some forecast tragedy and great problem for the individuals in the world such as an inter-planetary impact between the Soil and another world, others hold a more positive view seeing January Twenty-first as the day for good modify or religious modification among the individuals in the world. Although the Mayan schedule is still used in some Main National areas, it is not as endemic as it was at the level of the Mayan many.

However, the forecast of growing tragedy or apocalypse is mostly a european idea with no connection to actual Mayan philosophy. Traditional Mayan identities are primarily traditional and offer no estimations on the long run. The Mayan did however highlight on balance of the universe. Nevertheless, this does not actually recommend a extreme modification whether good or bad.

One completely Western idea but that has been lightweight upon the Mayan schedule lengthy pattern, has predicted a geomagnetic modify. The idea maintains that the international magnet area has damaged and thus the southern region and northern magnet posts are required to change. Even though this idea has some clinical support, experts have suggested that a geomagnetic modify is not something that can happen in such a few months (a day) but is a slow procedure. In addition, the geomagnetic modify is a vulnerable procedure that it will take large numbers or even huge years before such a modify arises – if ever.

The planetary impact advocates believe that a world Nibiru is predicted to battle with the Soil this season. At first, the impact time frame was predicted as 2003. But that came and approved with no occurrence or even a near pass up. The main listlessness of this idea is that given the large size of galactic space, if any world was on a direction to impact with the world, astronomers would have already seen the earth by now.

Everyone is eager to receive a present, be it that daily thank you or the annual Valentine's rose or a leaving Rolex. Yet, God gives us that ultimate present- the present. This spiritual repose helps Ayub Chege focus on the importance of the here and now, and he hopes it will help you too.

Hopes for the New Year

It is human and natural to look forward to a better tomorrow; who wants to remain static as the world hurtles fast into 2012? Our politicians are looking forward to the 2012 elections, our children are looking forward to leaving school and home, our bosses are looking forward to the next big contract and the extra hours we shall work to make them richer, and we are looking forward towards month’s end pay slip.

We look forward to getting a new job, we look forward to meeting good nice obedient and prosperous mates/partners, we look forward to new business breakthroughs to make us millionaires, we look forward to a blight future full of happiness and bliss.

Glorious Past

When not dreaming of a prosperous future, we are all nostalgic about the past. We remember being young and beautiful and all loved. We remember standing in podiums taking all ululations. We remember being the boss and lording over servants. We remember being healthy and with a full crown, not the pretend wig. We remember being popular and being happy. We long to go back to where there was free milk and honey. Else, we live our lives on hold waiting to relocate to a new haven where there is no toil and stress.

The Present

Accepting that the here and now is all that matters takes an irrational clause. Why should we accept the mediocre when the good preachers are promising riches and power and happiness. Why should we settle for what we have and are when we have the capacity to make ourselves 100 times better?

Yet, there is a reason why the here and now is called the present. It is the present from God the Father and Provider and Sustainer. It is the present that makes us accept His purpose and plans for us. It is the present to learn to trust Him in whatever we may be going through. It is the present of promised peace.

How good it would be if we were to give up the worries and just learn to lean on Him? How wonderful it would be the cast all our burdens to Him who knows us better and has the best of our lives in His able hands! How refreshing it would be to take all our broken pieces to Him to make the best of us!

Aspirations and dreams are all good, but they are all God’s gifts to us and must never take away the present that He has bestowed on us. Therefore, brethren, accept your perfect station today as the best present from God, for He knows why.

The end of the year approaches, with its traditional and gourmet feasts watered and winter temperatures. Beware of buffets and plants wake up Christmas: they represent a danger to our four legged friends!

Eve: 3 “sweets” completely banned for our dogs and cats

Alcohol:
In animals also, alcohol can cause an abnormal gait and loss of balance. In addition, alcohol can cause digestive problems such as vomiting and abdominal pain that induce loss of appetite. If these effects may disappear by themselves, ingestion of alcohol sometimes requires placing the animal on a drip to remove harmful substances more quickly.
Chocolate:
Another is often present at Christmas including the inevitable log is chocolate. Many of us consume every day, but it’s totally not recommended for our canine friends: in fact, chocolate contains theobromine, a substance toxic to dogs.
More chocolate is rich in cocoa and it is dangerous. Thus, a few grams of dark chocolate can cause diarrhea, stomach ulcers and vomiting.
In addition, the dog can be a victim of heart disease and tremors or convulsions. Symptoms appear 5-12 hours after ingestion.
And brown:
They contain tannins cause diarrhea and vomiting or bowel obstruction in our dogs and cats.

Three plants potentially dangerous to our dogs and cats

Mistletoe and holly
Among the ornamental plants of the period of New Year and Christmas, there are mistletoe and holly.
But beware! The berries of these plants are toxic and ingestion is usually followed by salivation, diarrhea, vomiting and nervous disorders. In addition, mistletoe-induced heart disease. Ingestion of large doses and if untreated can cause rapid death of the animal.
The Christmas roses (poinsettia)
They are irritating to the digestive tract of the animal that ingests them and for the skin and mucous membranes upon prolonged contact with the plant.
Finally, the tree
It can also be a source of disease for our friends. Embellished with glass balls and other Christmas lights, there is a risk of cuts or shock to animals attracted to the tree bright and lively.

Attention to two anti-cold highly toxic to our pets

Salt déneigenement
The winter weather and snow are involved in charming holiday season. But road salt can cause digestive and nervous disorders (agitation, tremors, convulsions) when ingested by our pets. In addition, the ingestion of salt-induced dehydration.
Antifreeze
Another product often used for cars in the winter is antifreeze. This material contains ethylene glycol, a sweet-tasting product and unfortunately very popular dogs. Its toxicity is formidable: 1 to 4 hours after ingestion, the animal is intoxicated, suffers from respiratory problems and dehydration. Death can occur within 4 to 6 hours. If it survives, kidney damage can occur and cause death within days or even weeks.

We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives… not looking for flaws, but for potential. ~Ellen Goodman

The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective. ~G.K.
Did we realise them too???

Some times small some times large, we make resolutions, and that a fact.

the mains things is how we follow them and complete them. with the every coming new year, on the nights of 31st December we make lots of resolutions for the coming year and with the first day of the new year start putting strategies to follow them all. and somehow fail to follow them.

we make resolution and break them, make them and break them, and the same story follows us every year like a shadow. the prime force acting behind this failure is “habit of laziness”. we become lazy in doing the fore most task we have assigned for us.

we make resolution like

getting early up

doing yoga every day,

makes notes,

these are some of the real task we all assign for us, but we are break them too. i do not know when we are going to learn from our mistakes, its become a prime task for us to do mistakes and then when the time passed we realise that we have done something wrong. And by next time we will do the things in perfect way.

And the next time too, we fall in the same situation as we are in the previous time, and again and again..

What about New Year's resolutions? Will they be useful? Followed up?Look no more excuses, here's the secret to good resolutions for the new year will turn into success stories!

The tradition of good intentions

Even those who do not make resolutions for the new year can not resist making one or two anyway: This year, I no longer work on Sundays, I lose 2 kg, I eat fewer sweets, I’m back sport, I quit smoking, I seek a new job … It is human! But your New Year’s resolutions will they really be achieved?

Well yes, it works! Evidenced by this study. It dates from 2002, but it is magical. Since no other study has addressed this issue, the evidence is deemed sufficient, no doubt …

New Year’s Resolutions: How to multiply by 11 your chances of success?

Some 280 people with specific goals and broadly comparable, the most frequent were weight loss, exercise program and smoking cessation, were initially asked about their projects and then contacted again by telephone 6 months later. The telephone interview was used to assess the results, successes or changes made to achieve the desired goals.

It turns out that among those who expressed their wishes for the new year, 46% were close to their goals, against 4% for those who had not bothered to actually plan their projects in the future.
In other words, be decided by 11 multiplies the chances of success!
And this is probably true of any resolution and any commitment.

So do not be afraid of commitment, the initial energy that you put in your requirements is key to achieving them.

The tradition of good resolutions for the New Year is a great thing, which it would be a shame not …

Health is wealth. Every healthy day adds your wealth. A New Year is already in progress. Take some resolutions that can make you healthy and make your future really wealthy.

We have already entered into the new year. Of course, we have stepped in to the New Year with great hopes and dreams. Every one of us dream to have a better health and a happier life. Every new year starts with some resolutions that can bring a better future.

Health is real wealth

Prosperity with happiness is the dream of every human being. To achieve this prosperous life every one plans ahead with new efforts. There can be no second opinion in the truth that health is the real wealth and only a healthy life can bring you success and fill you with happiness. Although we are already in the New Year, every day is a new start. Any attempt made for a healthy mind in a healthy body can perform better and achieve success.

Although there are some dark clouds in the economic sky all over the world, optimistic views about success and perseverance in executing the resolutions will definitely bring success.Just consider these four tips for healthy resolutions

1) Regular exercise

Exercise need not baffle you with imagination of aerobic machines or joining group exercise classes. Unrealistic or vague resolutions of exercises will bring you only adverse results. Plan a few moving activities that can be done without fail in a stipulated time available for you. Set goals by doing exercises that are realistic, achievable, and well defined.

2) Plan for a well-balanced diet

A balanced diet is an essential factor for a healthy life. There is a proverb in the South Indian language Tamil that means, “It is better to spend for food than spending for medicines.” A balanced diet does not mean costly food. It can be planned well if you just sit and think for a moment about which kind of diet can do good for you and what to avoid that is harmful to your health.

3) Come up with a resolution to control weight

Over weight and obesity have become the killer demons of modern lifestyle. It is the cause of all fatal diseases staring with cholesterol. Avoid all unhealthy eating and unnecessary addition of fat. Decide to have adequate whole grains, calcium, fiber, fruits and vegetables. Restrict fast foods.

4) Resolve to maintain healthy relationship

Maintaining healthy relationship is inevitable for a healthy life. Social life plays an important role in health maintenance. When the social life is affected it leads to stress and other problems that include blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, depression, and many other serious troubles. Smile and make others amicable. Strengthen meaningful relationships and avoid confrontations.

1. WHAT IS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR AND HOW IS IT CELEBRATED?

This is a most significant holiday-perhaps most importantly for the Chinese people worldwide and is the most important migratory movement of the year. In China, also called Spring Festival. Just as Western culture’s New Year on January 1 based on the solar Gregorian calendar and the Chinese community is governed by the lunar calendar, and for them, this January 23 begins the year 4710. The date is variable, takes place in the second New Moon (data lunar) after the winter solstice at 21 or 22 December (solar data). This phenomenon can occur between late January and February.

First, we start from knowing that the years and respective animals respond to the existence of a very different Chinese horoscope West. Rummaging through various versions, the origin of this calendar is attributed to the Yellow Emperor, Huang Di, who reigned, according to tradition, from 2698 to 2598 a. C. A Chinese legend claims that animals of the zodiac calendar are those who answered an invitation to celebrate Buddha. Another myth says that, with the intention of these animals to form part of the schedule, the gods held a career, which ended with the results as they are arranged in this zodiac: Rat, Bull, Tiger, Hare, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. In Chinese astrology, in the course of a full course of 60 years, each Chinese horoscope signs are combined with the 5 elements represented by the major planets: Wood, associated with Jupiter, Mars Fire, the Earth to Saturn, the Gold Metal or Water Venus and Mercury. These influence the personality of men, according to the year they are born.

3. HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE ORIGIN OF THESE CELEBRATIONS?

As in every culture, mythology attempts to describe the origin of the colorful festivities of this special date for the East. The most accepted and transmitted from generation to generation is the legend of the monster Nian. Tradition says that thousands of years ago, this cruel and ferocious beast that lived in the deep sea terrified the Chinese people on the coast: they ate and destroyed crops and worse, devouring humans, with their favorite children. One day an old beggar came one of these Chinese peoples subjugated by the monster, promising that he would stop. Nobody believed the stranger. The whole town preferred carry their belongings and flee. Upon returning, they all came up with the stranger had managed to stay calm in the village and the monster never returned. Never again to see the savior, but found a trail of red on the door of a house. They discovered that Nian feared the color red and other colors too strong.

4. WHY THIS IS THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON OF WATER?

The Dragon is only one of 12 animals are represented in the Chinese calendar and from today is your turn. Today, like every 60 years, the mythological creature is accompanied by water. Predictions are auspicious year for marriage, births, success and good astrologers consechas-match but can also lead to complications, the presence of water means natural disasters linked to this element as floods and tsunamis. To be alert.

5. ASIDE FROM THE CHINESE, WHO CELEBRATE WHAT OTHER COUNTRIES?

Other nations influenced the ancient Chinese culture as the Korean, Vietnam and Japan today celebrating the Year of the Dragon with fireworks, feasts and family gatherings. From Beijing to Bangkok and Seoul to Singapore, people trust have better luck in the new year visiting temples or burning incense, lighting firecrackers in the streets and seeing how the dance troupes of the beast Nian disguised, usually represented by fantastic images lion or dragon. The abundance of red in the festivities is explained precisely the myth narrated above.
