This is an example of an extremely high quality article full of rich content, inspiration and original ideas. You had better believe it my friends!

In order to understand the definition of “high quality” we need the help of the scientific community. You know, those folks who keep writing articles that few people understand but find them useful when they have exams. I am sure that thesis development is a lot easier, now that everything anyone needs to know is available on the web. Whether or not it is accurate does not really matter. What is important is that the sound is heard clearly. This brings me back to science and sound. What is the clearest sound you could possibly create? It is a sound that has a very good signal to noise ratio.

Image via Wikipedia

YOU DON’T ALWAYS HAVE TO CRANK UP THE AMPLIFIER

Let me make it easy to understand for you. Surely simple explanations on things that could be rather complex will open my article up to a wider audience. Who am I targeting? I am targeting some ears my friends. If you happen to know what an amplifier is, then you will understand that it is not necessary to use the greatest amount of energy to create the clearest sound. Don’t turn up the volume too high on an amplifier because in doing so, you will hear the speakers crackling and then you hear that noise. The noise becomes louder and drowns out the purest sound. Ah! Now you have a terrible signal to noise ratio. Don’t think for a moment that humans know how to do this better than animals. It is a well known fact that dolphins know how to see things and locate using sound. Of course they have the ability to filter out erroneous signals and my bet is that scientists need to take a queue from these creatures who might actually be a key to improving modern instrumentation since they manage to do it without too many visible wires and hardware.

Was the sound clear enough? Oh wait! I forgot to add an image. Oh, I did it and now this article is finished. Hope you enjoyed it!

Silence is a state of being quiet and it is considered a way of being gentle and wise. We need silence and quietness in many events of life.

We are human beings .We are the most intelligent animals on the earth . We invented scores of valuable things and we are now reaching the deepest ocean to the Mt. Everest . We can travel to the moon comfortably and revolve around the universe safely .

We need change and we always try to find new things which can make our life easier . We need amusement and we need silence as well . Everything depends on our state of mind .

I have a question for you , does silence make you uncomfortable ? If no one chatting around you , if there is no crowd or if you are alone at home without any music , you feel sick . Then, it can be a state of disturbed mind .

Noise and busy environment can make you stressed and dizzy . If you work for a long time in a crowded , congested and noisy place , you become used to it but your internal subconscious mind still wants peace for a while.

You may think yourself happy and you look healthy as well without silence but in a long-term it can harm your concentrating power , learning ability and other psychological phenomena .

Even silence makes you uncomfortable and bothers you , you have to practise to keep yourself silent by choosing a quiet environment . Even though you want to escape silence , your body and mind need it all the time .

Once in a while , keep yourself aloof from your hectic, troublesome, busy and noisy routine and give your brain a sound treat .

Making people laugh is actually a very simple thing to do. Laughter is the key to happiness and making new friends.

1. Random Noise

Making a random noise during silences is… funny! Im serious, you would be surprised on how many people laugh at this.

2. Make Funny Movements

When your walking with your friends/talking/just walking around strange people… do something crazy! Example: Pretend like you just had an explosive orgasm. Trust me… it works.

3. Do Something Abnormal Around People You Do Not Know

This one is a classic. I once went into a crowd of people I didn’t know and started to break dance thus gaining me respect, friends, and a ton of laughs. My friends and people I don’t even know bring it up almost all the time when they see me.

4. Make An “Ugly Face”

Everyone loves this one. What you do is you show all your teeth and curl your lips… crunch your face together, pull your head back to make the “double chin” and last but certainly not least… pull up your hair!!!(if you have long hair) Your friends and people you do not know will truely be mortified… but they will think it is hilarious! WARNING: Only do this if you have the courage to look hideous in front of people.

5. Make Loud Noises In Front Of A Crowd * Weird Noises *

This especially works with a group of friends in a mall. This is a speciality of mine… what I do is do is make a “OHHHHHH” sound in my HEAD VOICE (Without use of Diaphram).

Basically an overall view on this is… do random things and make weird noises. This will ensure you laughter amongst your peers.

Wouldn't it be nice to eat in peace and quiet?

A couple of months ago I wrote an article about how small children were being banned from restaurants. The reason for this was because the owners felt that the children were too loud and disrupting other patrons. Of course as a mother I was very offended by this and didn’t feel it was fair. However, I recently went to a restaurant without my children and the family sitting next to me drove me crazy! The children made so much noise and one of them wouldn’t stop crying. It got me wishing there was a separate “adult” section.

Now, I am well aware that most restaurants are “family oriented” so I am used to seeing children in Applebees and even IHop. However, seeing them and hearing them constantly while you are trying to enjoy a nice dinner is something different. I am not going to say that I always have issues with children at restaurants but once in a while after a long day I just want to sit down and eat in peace.

If it were possible to have separate eating sections for adults would you opt to use it? I know that I would if given the choice, not all the time of course but if I already had a headache or wasn’t feeling well I just might. It’s not that I don’t like children of course but there have been times when I have been out and a family was sitting there ignoring a child that was throwing a horrible tantrum. Or where a child has been very loud and the parents did nothing about it. That makes eating in peace pretty hard!

So, If you had a choice, where would you sit? Do you think restaurants should have a separate “kid-free” section? Or do you think that people should just deal with it as they are only there for an hour or so anyway?

Noise pollution is not just annoying it is also detrimental to your physical and mental health.

Is your child doing badly at school? Is he or she showing increased signs of aggression. Do you find yourself battling with headaches, or do your hands occasionally shake. Having a noisy neighbour could more than likely be the cause to any or all of these symptoms.

Noise pollution is very serious and covers a wide range of scenarios. Each one should be approached and handled in a different manner. One of the most annoying cases would have to be your noisy neighbour. Be it the family’s little barking terror, or the youngster partying at all hours of the night. Most cities have laws that prohibit your neighbour’s noise from crossing over your property line, and that means you have rights, you just need to be aware of them. After all, noise pollution, especially at night, could have real adverse effects to your health.

Sleep deprivation, being one of the biggest causes of obesity, is just one of them. It is documented that sleep deprivation diminishes the brains ability to remember. This could be disastrous for a child at school. Some other effects of sleep deprivation are weight loss, depression, headaches and an increased risk of diabetes, to name but a few.

There is also your psychological health to take into consideration. People need to recuperate and strengthen themselves to adequately face the challenges they meet on a daily basis. People who have high stress jobs would soon become unhappy and unproductive in their jobs if subjected to continuous noise pollution.

All these things might seem eerily familiar, but did you realise that you can actually do something about it. Your legal options obviously vary from place to place. But here are a couple of hints that should be fairly useful across the globe.

The first step should always be to confront your noisy neighbour and try and work it out peaceably. Most people become quite accommodating when given the chance. If the thought of confrontation terrifies you then there are even institutions that can help you in that regard.

The second step would be to contact your local government. They are obliged to investigate all cases of noise disturbance and should be able to put a stop to the nuisance without a fuss.

Finally, if no help is forth coming and you feel at your wits end. There is yet another institution that would be more than happy to help you with your problem. If you’re local government refuses to help you, or you feel they could have done more. Then contact your local government ombudsman and they will set the ball in motion.

At some point in time, everyone comes across the occasional selfish neighbour that pollutes you living space with his noise. It is up to you to put a stop to it, or you will have to pay the price for your silence.

It is nice to be young and have fun, but how much better would if be if young people would have fun and consideration in the same time for those around them, especially so early in the morning...

Around three thirty this morning, I was rudely, awaken by some high pitched conversation in front of my windows.

I even thought about getting my video and take a shot of the scene. Not only it was enough light from the street light, but the camera is equipped with a very good night vision device.

Well, I did not have to. Not because I did not have the time to do it, but I realized that should I be tempted to post the video on a social site, I could create more harm that the satisfaction for showing a funny situation. The faces would have been recognized, and maybe their parents would have seen them…

Well, it all lasted about three of four minutes, but in a nut shell it was not such a big deal. A bunch of kids, who actually are not really kids, they are in their upper twenties, class mates of my wife, came back home from some place. They actually did not fight, they were just talking to each other about where they had their cars parked. They were four of them. Two were riding in one car and the other two had their own. It seems that one of them was unhappy that his regular parking spot was taken this morning. The interesting part is that we don’t have assigned parking lots, but some people like to keep the same one, no matter what. And what was interesting, was the fact that the particular spot, that guy was unhappy about, was located further away from the entrance, than the one he already parked in.The other guy that he was talking to, was trying to explain to him that it is not such a big deal, spots are not assigned, and it was a shorter walk.

The third car, was silent. The driver and his companion were engaged in what we old timers call foreplay. There is nothing wrong with foreplay. Actually it is fun. There was nothing wrong with the time of foreplay, wee hours of the morning… What was wrong was the parking lot, with the other two were making sure that whomever did not want to see the show saw it any way…

At night all cats are gray, so the young girl was cute. Tall, slim, acceptably well built, and long hair. Boy I am a sucker for long hair, below the shoulder.

I really felt bad for her. I don’t know, but I find it very uncomfortable to start the foreplay in the parking lot before walking up three stories to the apartment. It was a chilly night, not cold but chilly, and I would think that the skin that the guy exposed under her busy hands must have caused him some goose bumps. The guy was a little bit more practical, and he did not remove her pants and panties, he slipped his hands in them. One in the front and the other in the back, probably because the young lady need some support for standing in the uncomfortable position…

Well, as all good things that have to end, the show ended when the young lady screamed “let’s go”. They rushed through the door ignoring the two other guys who were too busy to decide if it were a good idea to park and where to park.

This morning, around eleven I was awaken again by the same crowd. They were coming out laughing and having fun. This time there were only three of them.

The young lady was dressed up the same way as the previous night. I hope that she took a morning shower, even if she did not change her attire, and I suppose her underwear, but I can’t say one way or the other. I was too tired to hear the showers… She looked happy, while arranging her long hair, oh, such a pretty long hair, in the window of the car. This time she seemed strong enough to walk alone, and it seemed that all the passion she had last night, was totally consumed, when they got in the car, she got in the back seat… Who knows, maybe the driver did not perform well after the foreplay, or maybe he performed too well, and she was not interested in him any longer…

I had some other things in mind. First of all, those kids are enrolled in a law school in which they are operating under a very strict code of ethics. They will be practicing lawyers in a matter of two years now. I don’t want to anticipate anything, however I wonder what kind of code of ethics will those guys follow when they will be licensed lawyers?

They are actually living in the apartment next to us and thank God they are in the process of moving out. Since the very beginning, they were causing all kinds of problems to the neighbors. It was not so much the noise they were making with their parties, but what really aggravated me was their drinking which almost all the time ended up in wetting the carpet on the common hallway. They decided to rent a house and to move out. They wanted to party, they were members of a team of hockey in Canada. They wanted to have a house, not to disturb neighbors… I hope the house is located in a block by itself…

If I did not know any better, I would have thought that all Canadians are hockey players and they like to start their foreplay in the parking lots… About the loud talking, which after all was as begin as it may come, don’t people in Canada have any respect for their neighbors. I know that Canada is a huge country, and the population is located on a strip of land which is about two hundred miles wide for the length of the continent, and the rest of it is woods, but what are the chances that those kids lived their lives only in the woods???

And this is how their parents come into picture. For reason hard to understand, where I am coming from, the blame is also put on the parents, because they did not do their job on basic “education” (remember my post about education and instruction). I am sure that the parents did not teach them this kind of behavior and lack of consideration for others, but boy am I sorry that they could not put a stronger impression on their kids…

And finally, these are the future lawyers, DA s, judges of this country, or even Canada. I try to imagine the young lady with long hair, what a beautiful long hair she had, being a DA and pressing charges for indecent exposure and luscious behavior on a young couple, a few years from now, for what she did this morning. Will she ever think twice before getting a conviction and of course a feather in her career advancement?

I am sure that the young guy who will defend the couple will do a good job, he would get the money as a retainer… Of course him and the DA would have had at that time a lot of history, and the poor couple would have been caught in a long story of love and hate, and foreplay which started this very morning… Chances are that the couple would walk away with a fine, after all the harm was only caused to the people who had to wake up in noise. They would be young and foolish, and the judge will remember with nostalgia how he enjoyed coming back home in the morning and speaking loud after a few beers, and boy was it fun. Oh those young years…

And the code of ethics? They will still make you sign it, the first day of school, however who has the time to enforce it? The kids are kids and they will grow up…

After all would anyone read this story if I did not wake up???

T

Today, the problem of the climate change and environmental issues affect consistently the modern society because people are concerned with their future. Climate change and environmental issues threaten to the future of the society. The elimination of causes of negative environmental changes is one of the primary conditions of the improvement of the environmental situation.

The aviation industry is one of the main subjects to criticism from the part of the public because of its negative impact on the environment. In addition, the aviation industry causes substantial noises, especially in areas located close to airports. As a result, the fast development of the aviation industry in the second half of the 20th century stimulated the emergence of issues aircraft noise and aircraft emissions. To put it more precisely, the public grew dissatisfied with aircraft noise and aircraft emissions, whereas the government, in response to the public dissatisfaction, has started to introduce legal acts regulating aircraft noise and aircraft emissions.

The problem of the aircraft noise and emissions affected consistently people living in airports areas and, along with the fast development of the aviation industry, the entire society because the increase of aviation flights increased consistently the level of greenhouse gas emissions. In response to the growing aircraft noise and emissions, the government introduced measures to decrease the level of noise and emissions or, at any rate, to regulate them. In this respect, it is worth mentioning such legislative acts as the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Noise Control Act of 1972. The major goal of the National Environment Policy Act of 1969 was to control and regulate greenhouse gas emissions. In this regard, the aviation industry became one of the target industries, which polluted the environment. The minimization of greenhouse gas emissions can be reached through the regulation of the schedule and the introduction of fuel efficient technologies. The decrease of the amount of greenhouse gas emissions contributes to the consistent improvement of the environmental situation.

The Noise Control Act of 1972 was the next step to the minimization of the negative impact of the aviation industry on the life of people living in airports area. The main point of the Noise Control Act of 1972 was the decrease of the aircraft noise. People living in airports area suffered from the growing noise provoked by aircrafts. The growth of noise led to the deterioration of health of people living in airports area. For instance, people suffered from growing anxiety, depression and other problems, which affected not only psychological but also physiological state of people. The Noise Control Act regulated the level of noise emitted by aircrafts. The regulation of the level of aircraft noise contributed to the introduction of new technologies in the construction of aircrafts. As a result, the aviation industry focused on the decrease of the noise level emitted by aircrafts.

In actuality, the problem of aircraft noise and aircraft emissions is one of the primary concerns of the modern aviation industry because aviation companies attempt to develop programs, which help to minimize the level of aircraft noise and emissions. In this regard, the National Airspace System Plan is a strategic plan, which defines the strategic development of the aviation industry. At this point, it is worth mentioning the fact that the current development of the plan focuses on the further development of the aviation industry in terms of environmental concerns. In actuality, the plan further identifies the goals the FAA has set for technology and program deployment and the commitments the FAA has made in support of that vision. Today, the plan focuses on the decrease of CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions.

To put it more precisely, the plan promotes the use of Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) to control air traffic in the Gulf of Mexico in December 2009 was an important step forward. This step is particularly important, taking into consideration the accident in the Gulf of Mexico on the oil shell, which was a true natural disaster. At the same time, the plan focuses on the long-run perspective of the development of the aviation industry. Basically, the ADS-B controls the air traffic, which decreases the negative impact of air flights through the thorough control and schedule of flights in the Gulf of Mexico region. The efficient schedule of flights can decrease greenhouse gas emissions.

On the other hand, the ADS-B should also take into consideration the aircraft noise, which may increase, if the schedule is changed. In other words, any changes leading to the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions should lead to the decrease of the noise level as well or, at any rate, prevent rising the noise level in the airport area. For instance, if the change of the schedule increases the level of aircraft noise, then the schedule should be changed. The high level of noise can have a destructive impact on health of people living in airport areas.

Another important step toward the decrease of the aircraft noise and emissions is the Airspace Redesign and Performance Based Navigation (PBN) procedures already are saving fuel, reducing emissions and managing noise in demonstrations with our domestic and international partners. The PBN leads to the introduction of new fuel-efficient technologies and, therefore, decreases the aircraft emission (Stark, 1994). As a result, the aviation industry decreases the pollution. In fact, the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions is possible through the use of fuel-efficient aircrafts as well as the introduction of alternative sources of energy. However, today, the aviation industry still suffers from the lack of alternative sources of energy being used. In other words, the modern aviation industry still uses fossil fuels, which are the major source of greenhouse gas emissions.

In order to improve the situation in the aviation industry, current policies focus on the ongoing improvement of technologies and minimization of aircraft emissions. In this regard, it is worth mentioning the fact that the U.S. Clean Air Act regulations and environmentally conscious citizens demand reduced emissions. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) voices worldwide concern about air quality and climate change. At this point, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that, today, the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions by aircrafts need the close cooperation at the international level (Trisoglio, 2004). Efforts of the US alone are not enough because the lack of homogeneous policy at the international level leads to the ongoing pollution of the environment by aircrafts arriving from other countries but the US. In such a situation, American aircrafts can be even in a disadvantageous position because the introduction of fuel efficient technologies increases costs of manufacturing that decreases the competitive position of more expensive aircrafts compared to less expensive, even if they are more dangerous for the environment.

Furthermore, the FAA’s action plans support the operational capabilities the Task Force requested, such as sharing surface movement data for better collaborative decision making. Working to help airports safely increase throughput on closely spaced as well as converging or intersecting runways. Also working to safely increase access to the NAS for all operators, and provide controllers with the tools and operator procedures they need to enable the safest, most efficient, economical and environmentally friendly routes of travel (Holmes, 2006). The aforementioned measures can contribute to the introduction of effective technologies and flights management. In fact, the flight management affects consistently the level of emissions because the regulation of flights increases the efficiency of flights and decreases greenhouse gas emissions. For instance, the effective flights management can decrease the number of flights with the low level of passengers that leads to the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, the FAA will use a strategic Environmental Management System approach to integrate environmental and energy objectives into the planning, decision making and operation of NextGen. Under the Continuous Lower Emissions, Energy and Noise program, the FAA is targeting partnerships with industry to advance noise and emissions reductions, while improving energy efficiency. The FAA will continue to accelerate the certification and implementation of sustainable alternative fuels for use by aircraft fleets. In actuality, the development of alternative fuels is essential for a consistent improvement of the environmental situation. As the matter of fact, the development of alternative fuels leads to the steady substitution of fossil fuels by alternative fuels that use renewable sources of energy and which prevent aircrafts from emitting greenhouse gas.

In this respect, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that the introduction of environmentally friendly legislation along with the legislation aiming at the decrease of the noise emitted by aircrafts occurs under the pressure of the public. In fact, the public grows conscious of the negative impact of the aviation industry on the environment. As the public consciousness of numerous environmental problems grew stronger, the authorities had to respond to the public demands and to introduce legislative acts to regulate the level of noise and emissions.

Thus, taking into account all above mentioned, it is important to place emphasis on the fact that the aviation industry represents a serious threat to the environment. At the same time, the aviation industry increases the level of noise in airports areas, which make the life of the local population not only uncomfortable but also affect the health of people living in airports areas. In the public grows conscious of the negative impact of the aviation on the environment. In response to the growing noise level and greenhouse gas emissions along with the growth of the environmental concerns forced the government to introduce regulations and legislative acts aiming at the decrease of aircraft noise and emissions. Nevertheless, today, current policies in the aviation industry still need consistent improvement to stimulate the wider use of alternative fuels and to decrease the noise level.

An expression of lack or understanding about this sudden hype on 2012. A little understanding needed here. Hope you help.

For quite sometime now, about 6 months, all I hear is 2012, 2012. I keep wondering and asking myself of what this 2012 is all about. From the little I follow on the internet, speech of others and certain comments, I gather that people mean 2012 will be a disastrous year. I sincerely do not believe that.

However, I want someone to kindly explain and let me know why the ‘noise’ about 2012.

I see a movie titled “2012”; someone sends a comment that says “hello 2011, why are you trying to be like 2012… From Japan” Quite interesting, isn’t it?

Therefore, what is the mystery behind 2012 everyone is talking about.

Someone please help me understand the hype on “2012” and what it is about.

In the IELTS writing examination, specifically in the task one of the Academic module, the examinee may have to describe a line graph. In this article, one may get some ideas on how to put the data from the chart into words.

The line graph presents the figures of the complaints received by the people under the Environmental Health regarding the irritating sound from four different sources in the urban area of Newton form 1980 to 1996.

In 1980, noise form road construction was the primary reason for complaints in the area with about 650. Trailed behind were the irritating sound from domestic household and factories with figures of 500 and 400 respectively. Taking the backseat were complaints of 300 for traffic noise.

As the years passed, the figures changed remarkably. The complaints for road works dropped substantially to 80 in 1996. On the other hand, negative concerns for noise in domestic household soared dramatically, reaching to 1250 complaints at the end of the period. Moreover, complaints for factories and traffic noise almost got the same figures with approximately 600 to 700 complaints.

In a nutshell, the complaints against noise in the city of Newton rose over the 16-year period. Furthermore, irritating sound from road works which topped the figures at the start of the period, ended with the least complaints across the years.
