Ian Fleming was the author of the James Bond novels. Plots, action, adventure, and beautiful women all wrapped up in an exciting package. We could hardly wait for the next book, and later the movies. We had had nothing like it before. 007 was the man of romance and action. Although Ian Fleming had seen no personal action, he was a key aide to Britain’s head of naval intelligence, and he had a great imagination and a golden typewriter. We are all the richer for Ian Fleming.

I need to decide on a story. And apparently, because of my dear friend Walby, it must be a novel about unrequited love. Not that I couldn’t fit that into anything, of course. Comment with which one you would most like to read.
