Hi everybody! It's been a while. Currently, I'm here to examine just how much the title and the content of an article affect page views.
Anyway, I thought I'd share an article that features a current top-news event: the death of Dick Clark.

“America’s Oldest Teenager” has died of a heart attack at the age of 82. Renowned for his youthful appearance, Mr. Clark was born Richard Wagstaff Clark on November 30th 1929.

He was also renowned for “legitimizing Rock’n’Roll.

In 1952 he moved to Philadelphia, where he worked as a d.j on a show called Bob Horne’s bandstand, which he began to host when Bob was dismissed. In 1956 the name was changed to American Bandstand. Dick made his ultimate debut on August 5th 1957, when he introduced Elvis Presley. The rest, as they say, is history. Mr. Clark went on to introduce myriad unknowns who later skyrocketed to fame including Ike and Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Simon and Garfunkel and The Talking Heads.

Dick also owned a chain of successful restaurants akin to Hard Rock Café known as American Bandstand cafes.

Mr. Clark suffered a massive stroke in 2004.

He was given a tribute by President Barack, and will be sadly missed, although never forgotten.

Ever wonder where our words come from?

The Angles, Saxons and the Jutes had a profound effect on the development of the English language, an impact that set the stage for further evolution of the language. Their invasion during the fifth century A.D. effectively began an inclination that has almost completely eradicated the native Celtic language. However, according to one source, Gaelic usage began its decline in the beginning of the thirteenth century. Scottish Gaelic then became known as “Highland Gaelic” to represent the location of native speakers of the language. The English language, as set forth by the Anglo-Saxon period (or Old English) was called “Angl-isc,” and was deeply connected to its Germanic origins. This period did not however, ensure the language had been static throughout the ages, and we can explore the evolution of the English Language in distinct phases. The Old English period (449-1100), the Middle Enlgish period (1100-1500), bear a stark contrast to the Modern English period (1500-present) in terms of spelling and phonetic difference. Consideration is given here to the interpretation of Chaucer’s writings in comparison to modern understandings.

The English language, as we know it today is barely recognizable from its Germanic roots, and the modern reader may experience some difficulty interpreting the meaning from the terminology of most people living from 1100 through the 1500’s. This era, in terms of language development and evolution, is characterized by what is termed “Middle English.” This epoch utilized certain aspects of French vocabulary, and we can see evidence of this throughout the works of Chaucers’ famed “Canterbury Tales,” and other masterpieces.

Many of the modifications are trivial, and are easily identifiable by applying spelling and pronunciation differences, for example; “younge sonne,” “melodye,” and “slepen nyght;” however, some terms are not so easy to determine meaning or context for the casual reader, including; “durste,” “clepe,” and the term “I wot.”

The easily recognizable terms that were prominent in Chaucer’s era are words still in use today, and do still bear some resemblance to the Middle English form. Oftentimes, the reader can discern the context by analyzing the other words within the same sentence or line of poetry. The term “younge sonne” even to the casual reader is readily identifiable to refer to a “young son.” Similarly, “melodye,” can be translated as “melody.” These are good examples of this phonetic resemblance; it would appear that only the spellings are altered. Even, the term “slepen nyght,” can still be identified as referring to “sleeping night,” in spite of the visual differences between the Middle and Modern versions by simply uttering the words aloud. Therefore, readers of Chaucer and other Middle English authors can faithfully rely on their acquired knowledge of phonetics, vocabulary and word recognition to assist them with comprehension and thus, decipher context from the reading.

With that said, many words circulating during this time are no longer used today or “has become obsolete or has changed its meaning over the centuries.” Many of the terms have ambiguous meanings, or have differing meanings for differing contexts. One such situation occurs when attempting to decipher the meaning of the word “durst.” The Concise Dictionary of Middle English offers several synonyms for “durst,” ranging from “I dare,” to “dear.” Michael Murphy, a scholar who has extensively researched Middle to Modern translations, and who has specifically concerned himself with the work of Chaucer, proclaims the proper interpretation of “dare” is a more accurate clarification of Chaucer’s’ writing. Murphy’s work can be found online here; http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/webcore/murphy/canterbury/1intro.pdf

There seems to be less disagreement with the term “clepe,” and is taken to mean to “call.” The Concise Dictionary of Middle English however, defines the term as a similar verb, translating as “recall.” Alphadictionary.com is in agreement with Murphys’ translation and clarifies that “clepe” means to call out a name.

The third term to be discussed, “I wot” seems to have derived from Shakespearian old English, and means, “I know,” and once again, is in agreement with Murphys’ analysis.

Probably the best evidence to explain changes in pronunciations is a trend that has been termed “The Great Vowel Change,” which began in “the twelfth century and continuing until the eighteenth century.” However, the most prominent changes occurred during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Harvard University scholars maintain this change occurred because “Old and Middle English were written in the Latin alphabet and the vowels were represented by the letters assigned to the sounds in Latin.” Consequently, there had been an increased awareness that there was a need to create a new alphabet, because “the pronunciation of English had moved so far from its visual representation.” The sixteenth century saw the beginning of the English language reformation, a movement that scholars at Harvard insist, is “still active today.” (L. D. Benson) The Great Vowel Change had a huge impact on Chaucers’ writings.

Michael Murphy points out that the changes that ensued in the English language were not consistent. Words that once rhymed in Chaucer’s poetry suddenly were no longer phonetically similar. For example, when Chaucer was writing, the words “hood,” “blood,” and “mood,” all rhymed with one another, as did “save,” “heart,” and “convert,” and we can see that the “most observable shift [is evident in the vowels] from o to u.” (Murphy)

If the Harvard scholars are correct, and that the evolution of the English language is a continual process then we may never find a proper or standardized version. It is interesting to note that there are many variations of the language in use today, accounting for educational and cultural differences and the problem of ensuring a consistent form may be more complicated that scholars thought in the beginning of this project. There are generational differences in the way language is used in the current era, easily recognizable by the younger population using acrostics or “text talk” to convey a message.

To highlight this point, a quick “Google” search provides several results translating the Middle English term “wot” to “waste of time,” and given the artistic flair of language during the Old and Middle English period, it is difficult to determine whether Shakespeare and Chaucer would be amused or mortified by the contemporary changes in communication forms.

Those with a passive interest in languages will note that almost all Germanic and French influences, at least phonetically, are obsolete in the Modern form, yet we retain certain spelling similarities. However, even this is not consistent considering regional dialects and geographic location. It is assumed then, that the English language will continue to make changes and evolve until the end of time and will provide a continual source of study for language majors.

How I suffered discrimination from my own people some of whom hated me, and done all they could to try to bring me down.

When I worked as a Youth Officer in Wolverhampton Council for Community Relations during the 1980’s, the Senior Community Relations Officer who was much darker than I, resented me and done all within his power to make my job uncomfortable hoping I would leave.

He called me into his office, as I sat at his desk he asked me to put my hand on the desk and then he placed his hand beside mine, ‘what colour do you call that he said referring to my hand, ‘black I replied ‘what colour do you call this pointing to his hand, ‘when I replied black he retorted are you colour blind pointing to my hand, that is white he said, I am black, you are not.

I was speechless but I had been aware of this mans attitude long before, I was not surprised at what he said.

He followed me into my office and his words were, I am getting rid of you this year.

I was looking through your papers and realise you are 60 in October, if you are not looking forward to your retirement I am.

When I asked him why is he looking forward to my retirement he replied I was too old to work with the Wolverhampton Council for Community Relations. I replied no arrangement was made by the Community Relations Council for my retirement. Although I continually requested I should pay a Retirement Pension in line with the C.R.E. members of Staff, this was refused, therefore I have no Retirement Pension and I cannot be forced to retire without a pension.

He replied we can get around that by making you redundant, my reply to him was we shall see and he replied you have no choice you signed the Contract of Employment which states you will retire at 60, and I will see you will retire.

Since then each time we met I was continuously taunted with retirement and his attitude was one of mocking.

From the beginning of the Senior Community Relations Officers harassment I decided to record each time these harassments took place. On 29th March 1982 I was called to his office at around 3.30, it was about the Casework I had just done, when I was asked by him if he did not tell me not to do Casework I tried to explain it was a client of mine who trusted me implicitly and would not see anyone else.

He replied, no one is going to dictate to him how to run his office, and I am to do no more Casework helping people.

He said my trouble was I would not conform and that is why he must get rid of me, he told me if this happens again he will invoke the disciplinary procedure.

On 15th April 1982 again I was called into his office this time because he was angry about something which had transpired at the Union meeting, when I told him I had nothing to do with it he said I was a lier.

The argument which took place between the S.C.R.O and myself resulted in him telling me when he fights, he fights to win, and when he wins it seems I will have to go, and if he looses he will go.

I assured him I was quite prepared to fight but pointing out in the end neither he nor I would be the winner or the looser and the only people who would win would be the enemies of the Community Relations Council and the people who do not wish good relations within the community.

On 29th April 1982 I was again called into his office this time after I had returned from sick leave. I was asked by him if I could do him a favour by writing my resignation and handing it to him quietly this he claimed was necessary as he did not think I was fit enough for the job and therefore I should leave on my own accord.

I told him I had no intention of leaving and walked out of his office.

From time to time over the past 3 years I was often approached by him telling me don’t I think I am too old for the job and how he was looking forward to my leaving.

It was during my time of working in Wolverhampton Community Relations and being constantly harassed by the Senior Community Relations Officer, that I sadly suffered a mild heart attack.

“The man with half a head” urges young people to stay away from drugs on their YouTube channel

It’s been almost a year since “The man with half his head” was signed by Miami police after seeking sexual services to an alleged prostitute who was actually an undercover cop.

When the newspaper “Miami New Times” published a picture of this strange man named Carlos Rodriguez and Carlos Sosa, many were the times that pointed that it was staged, but it was the police themselves said that the shape of the head of this man was real.

“Halfy” (which is how he calls himself) suffered a terrible accident that left him maimed for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and now has decided to open its own YouTube channel to tell their experiences, says “The Huffington Post. “

In the videos, “the man with half a head” advises young people away from drugs, while speaking about his sexual tastes and criticizes Obama’s policy while smoking marijuana.
It is not the only case

However, “Halfy” is not the only man who has survived a severe head injury of this type. A British man named Steve Gator lost a large part of his skull after being attacked walking home from work

In Scotland, Alan Hind has only half the lead after 25 meters after falling from the ceiling and is now unable to work.

Many are scared to take the plunge into Politics as they fear they would not survive for long in this field and in a way they are Right. They have to start from the beginning and we all know how "Politics" has been in India with the Congress, the BJP and of others!! Is it not time that we give the "Youngsters" a chance instead of recruiting the "Old" & the "Same" and "Same" people over and over again. Don't we want a Stable Government and don't we want to give our own "Motherland" a Secure future. Therefore during the Next Elections in India come to the "Polling" Booths and "Vote In Large Numbers" and Use the "Right" that is the "Right to Vote" As "Judiciously As Possible"!!

THE FIELD OF INDIAN POLITICS

Power does imply strength and control and furthermore we have already witnessed what power can do which is to ‘suppress’ the poor and the commoners.

Don’t we struggle hard each day to earn our hard earned money but ultimately where does all of this go? All of these should go into the government’s treasury but sorry not for developmental purposes but for looting people in a number of ways ranging from increase in price of essential commodities like bread, vegetables, milk which has been increased from Rs3 as instead of an increase of (Rs.5 an increase which was demanded by the KMF authorities) to a hike in water and electrical tariffs which would be gifted to as New Year Gifts in the coming months, increase in tolls and also in our taxes which we pay to the government. We pay our hard earned money as taxes for developmental purposes and not for watching ‘Porn’ films by the Ministers as we have already witnessed that too which is regarded as a high institute as a ‘Public Office’ where serious business is being held.

Don’t we now know how our money is been spent? To watch movies, films, blue films and to party with young pretty girls and to increase their loot for themselves, for their family and for their children. But for us ‘We’ ourselves cannot make our ends meet and therefore we are unable to give our children a good and a secure future, leave out our family in here as we know we all struggle hard including our family to earn a decent living to have a secure future for our family and children.

Don’t you think the government is trying to exploit us in various ways from increasing prices of essential commodities to levying tolls and by increasing taxes wherein the Government goes all out towards the people to inform them to pay their taxes in time!!! Should we even pay them a ‘Pie’ from our hard earned money?

The Congress has been submerged in scams and is still holding out to a straw while we have also seen what the BJP government also could do by been submerged in a lot of incidents ranging from mining to various others including spreading rumours of Congress leaders getting arrested over the issue of black money stacked overseas in order to influence the people and to attract more voters towards their party.

Now it’s left up to you to decide which Party you would like to go in for-for these parties or for a New party or for the JD (S). Just look through the puzzle and who do you feel has been quite active. Though you would surely say the BJP by always been in the news, the JD (S) has been fighting from behind the screen whereas the Congress has not been that active as it was before. Do you want the Old people back in the hot seat over the age of 65 -80 years or do you want to see some youngsters in the age bracket of 20 years and beyond) occupying the hot seat in the future and providing us with a stable government and a secure future for our Motherland India and by freeing us from the political turmoil we have seen almost everyday!!

It’s your choice and your decision but make it count seriously as possible while going to a polling booth as we do have a ‘Right’ given to us and that is indeed the ‘Right to Vote’ which we should use it as ‘Judiciously’ as possible.

Let the KBC show Begin!

Yes, it is also a ‘Kind of Kaun Banega Corepati Show’ indeed!!

Do hope most of you would make the right choices.

Welcoming all of you to cast your Votes in Large numbers during the next election to reach to at least 85 -90%.

Don’t you want to see your city entering into the Guinness Book of World Records!!

Therefore be sure to come and vote in large numbers during the next Elections!!

Your backpack or travel bag in dreams represents your past, which you are carrying with you. This means that you are carrying with you your old ideas, your conclusions, your traumatic experiences, you impressions, and everything that belongs to your past.

You may believe that this content is positive. However, it has a negative meaning because your past conclusions were based on your ignorance, and you believe in many false concepts. You surely passed through many traumatic experiences, which created abnormal reactions due to your fears. You also had many false impressions of your reality because you are ignorant and your human conscience is one-sided.

This doesn’t mean that you should forget your past and never analyze it. It means that in order to analyze your past you need the help of a psychoanalyst. Fortunately, the unconscious mind that produces your dreams is the best doctor you could find.

You will get rid of your past traumas through dream translation, and acquire new ideas, which will be based on real knowledge. The unconscious mind will give you new life, based on wisdom.

I will show you in this article two parts of two dreams where the backpack appears. I cannot publish the entire dreams because my translations are private, but I can publish two sentences of two different dreams from two different dreamers without exposing the dreamers in any way in order to give you a practical lesson, since both of them had a dream where the backpack appears.

Here is a part of the first dream, which was dreamt by a mentally ill woman who is 30 – 40 years old:

‘There is a back-pack in front of me whose color is ocher. (I am looking for its zipper.)’

Dream Translation:

This back-pack is the content that belongs to your past. The ocher color indicates support and goodness.

You are looking for its zipper in order to open your past and remember the old content. This means that you are attached to your past, and you believe that your past contains support and goodness.

This is a false impression.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………

This dream was showing to the dreamer that she was eluded for believing that her past could give her something good and help her in her life. She had many traumatic experiences in the past and she is constantly controlled by her anti-conscience. I cannot explain the details of this case, but I can tell you that the dreamer is far from balance.

Since you know this detail you can understand how really wrong the dreamer is for believing that her past reactions and conclusions can help her in any way. The backpack’s color is misleading. It reflects what the dreamer thinks about her past conclusions and her past ideas, while she is mentally ill and she cannot trust her own thoughts. Her mind was invaded by her anti-conscience.

She is now carefully analyzing her past through dream translation. The unconscious mind is gradually eliminating the pain caused by her traumas, and showing her what had really happened to her.

Therefore, the fact that she had a backpack was negative. This backpack is a burden on her shoulders. She must get rid of this backpack instead of believing that her old ideas and conclusions can help her in her life.

The translation of this part of the dream clearly shows you the negative meaning of the backpack.

Now, I’m going to translate a few sentences of a dream dreamt by a 35- 45-years old woman where the backpack appears in a dream scene. She is not mentally ill. Her basic problem is related to a love relationship.

‘Then the class ended and I couldn’t find my blue backpack, which had my keys and my books. How was I supposed to get back to work?’

Dream Translation:

The backpack is what you carry with you from your past. It represents your past ideas, your memories, and everything that connects you with your past behavior and your past life.

The blue color represents comprehension. Thus, everything that comes from your past makes you have the behavior of a comprehensive person.

Since you lost your backpack, this means that you lost the content you are carrying in your personality and in your mind from the past, which gave you a comprehensive character (blue color). In other words, you are a person who understands everything very easily and has the reactions of average people. You lost this content that was influencing your behavior because now you understand that you cannot be like average people are. You have to be superior.

The keys represent a solution in dreams. Since you lost your keys, this means that you lost a solution you had found. In other words, you forgot a solution you had found in the past, and this is why you lost your keys. Or, you are in a situation that demands a lot more from you and you cannot use the same solution you usually use when you are in a difficult situation. Now you have to face a new situation that demands a different tactic.

Your books represent the knowledge given by human beings, which is a false knowledge, limited by the human ignorance.

Therefore, the fact that you lost your backpack is not negative, as it seems to be. You lost your old ways, which were based on misconceptions. What you carry with you in your backpack in dreams is the collection of erroneous concepts you have from the past. You got rid of this collection now that you are studying the meaning of your dreams and you have to face a different situation. Now you have to deal with the complicated case of the person you love.

You must pay attention to the unconscious lessons in your dreams because the solution you used to use in order to solve your problems in the past (keys) and the knowledge you have from studying what human beings have taught you (books) cannot help you in the situation you are now.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

As you can see, the backpack (or travel bag) always has a negative meaning in a dream. It represents your old ways to deal with life’s challenges, which are based on erroneous conclusions, even if you are not mentally ill and you didn’t have serious traumas in the past.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

In just three weeks, my son will turn a year old!
It’s amazing that it has already been almost a year, and it doesn’t really feel like it for me. For Dante’s father though, I am pretty sure he feels like the time has slipped by and he’s missed almost everything since he moved.
Dante is now jabbering about everything, walking and running away, and getting into as much as possible. He’s gotten so big! But not enough to fill in his 12 month pants! (Which seems to be both too long and big for him)
I’m so proud of my son and can’t wait to see what this new year will bring as the days, weeks and months pass by me and my beautiful son.

So far, everything for his birthday part next month is ready, except for date and time. But the supplies are already ordered by his father’s family and recieved here where we are. Dino is the theme! It is sad that Brian and his family cannot be here for the party, but that just means I’ll have to take extra pictures just for them. I thank them so much for helping with the party stuff. And of course the clothes and anything else that is needed. Most credit for things go to them.

As many problems that have popped up in my life in the past few months, Dante has never stopped growing and I’m come to focus on that. Just three weeks more to watch my baby grow before he turns a year. And three more weeks to make sure everything kind of goes smoothly for everyone. So, instead of boring people with the rest of all this, send happy birthday wishes!

Take a break from your life and blend into theirs for a while!!

If you usually spend most of your time with people of the same age as you, then try to change that.Hanging out with different age groups has its benefits.

Hang out with older people!!

you’ll get to listen to a lot of stuff,& you’ll learn to shut up for a change. Not that I’m assuming you’re a talkative person, but when you’re around an older person, you do realize they like to talk, a lot. Try listening to them, they have stories to tell that might impress you, teach you or simply entertain you. They might be repetitive at times, but just taking a time out of your life & being a listener for a while would make you reflect on your life depending on what you’ve been hearing from someone who has been living on earth for more than 60 decades. Can you even imagine the amount of things & experiences they have to talk about.!!

Plus, there is just something about old people that gives you this inner warmth, that’s a bonus =)

Now, after you’ve done your listening, you need to do your action.

Hang out with kids !!

Yup, kids will make you forget who you are & go wild.Rediscover your inner child, move around, jump, dance, play .. You need this physical activity. It’ll make you feel more alive than ever. You’ll laugh, that’s a guarantee !!Kids tend to liberate us from feelings of commitment, stress & responsibility, that is if you REALLY let go & try to be yourself around them & drop all the weight you’ve been carrying on your shoulder.Don’t just hang with them like a guardian or a chaperone, hang with them like you’re their friend, mingle, join the activity,Specially, if it’s something you haven’t done in ages.

Trust me, you’ll feel so liberated & revived that you’ll have this foolish smile on your face when you go back to resume you’re work & routine.

You Will Be REFRESHED!!

Young? Old? Ask yourself these questions. You may be surprised...

Let’s admit it, youth is not age but a state of mind. You can be 90 and have the energy and the joie de vivre of a teenager. Or you can be 15 and lead a flat, tasteless life of somebody who is just waiting to die.

These five questions will help you realize your age, the age of your spirit, your real age.

Do you like to learn? Babies come to the world knowing nothing. They have to learn everything. And it is such a joy to them to discover a sound, a color, a taste. It is so encouraging to see them play with a tree or an empty plastic bottle or with a door. Somebody said that passionate people are those who live their lives with the same interest as babies discover their world. So if you like to read, to discover new places or dishes or music, you are still young, no matter your biological age.

Do you like to move? Movement is the law of life. What does not move is dead. Cats move. And so do trees even if we don’t realize it because we are inattentive. Only stones stay where they are. And the dead, of course. Move, then. Run. Walk. Dance. Jump. Travel. And you will push the death away.

Aren’t you afraid of changes? Changes are another rule of life. We grow thinner or fatter, taller, balder. Our hair turns gray and our skin wrinkle. But it doesn’t matter. It is not really getting older. Trying to stop time, trying to have artificially blonde or black hair, to avoid wrinkles, to look younger at any cost: These are sure signs your soul is getting old.

Do you feel you own the truth? Not only your body changes. Also your mind. And your ideas. Time shows you that you were wrong about some ideas and situations. It does not matter. You have the right to be wrong. You have the right to correct the drawing of the world in your mind. But for doing that you have to listen carefully what others have to say. And to evaluate continuously your own beliefs. And to let them go when you find out they are useless. If these behaviors describe you, be happy. You are young. Only old trees don’t swing with the wind.

Are you strong enough to fight? Not against others but against injustice. If poverty makes you angry; if you don’t support abuses; if you feel the hate of the powerful against the weak as your own pain; if you love justice for the sake of justice and love for the sake of love. If greed and proud and sloth makes you furious; if you are ready to fight against wall street sharks and third world gorillas and drug lords and democratically disguised tyrannies, congratulations your soul is young and beautiful, even though your hands shake and your sight is short. You are young even if you have lived and loved a whole century.

Even if we say that we'll never be, we shall. Trickers have nothing to do all day, but thinking on their plans to trick people.

At home, we use Butane gas bottles for cooking and for the heater. The installation has to be revised every so often. On one of those days, a workman arrived. He wore working clothes. He carried a briefcase where he had his tools and he showed me an apparently professional ID. He said that he came from the company and that he had to supervise our gas installation. I believed him and he went inside to do his job. On finishing, he gave us a bill and took his money. After he had gone, I read the bill carefully and I told my mother. “You know, I think we’ve just been tricked!” “Are we?” asked my mother rolling her eyes.

I telephoned the company and they told me that revisions were only on request and that they don’t send people around. They told me that whenever we needed to fix or revise our installation, we should call up requesting for it.

On reading the bill and the amount of money, he had asked, I wondered how much he would collect on a single day with only few visits.

“I can’t get my prize!”

This is a well known trick. A more or less well dressed person will approach us in the street and they will show us a winning lottery ticket saying that they have won a good pinch in the lottery draw, but unfortunately they can’t get it, because they have to flight to… They always mention a distant place and they may even show to the victim an airplane ticket. Obviously, they show their lottery and airplane tickets fast so that victim can’t read them in detail. They always sound truthful and they may even shed few tears. The so called winning ticket is always for a lot of money. The victim may go home to get the money or they may go to the nearest bank branch. In this popular trick, either the trick-er and the victim are guilty -one wants to get money unlawfully, but the other believing the account, is taking advantage of the so called circumstances in which the winner can’t get its prize.

A Social Security officer

He is normally a well dressed man who talks with a soothing tone and shows very good manners. He will get information on his victims in shops and supermarkets while he waits over the counter or at the checkpoint queues. His victims are always old people living on retirement pensions. After having taken his information, he will call on them at home claiming to be a Social Security officer. He will tell them about the latest plans of the government as regards pensions and a pension rise. He will show them official papers and he may even show them some news on the State’s Official Bulletin. The news may not say anything about a pension rise, but these people are almost illiterate ones or they can’t read well. Yet, they will believe him, because he really looks like a Social Security Officer. The man will ask them an amount of money on accounts of clerical and paper work and they will give him whatever they have at home, eager as they are to get a pension rise.

The Metropolitan Police of Barcelona warns people about a mafia of trickers

When I once went to call on my sister, I spotted a sheet of paper stuck on the wall by the lift. I looked at it, but I didn’t understand a thing of what it was all about. She told me that there was a mafia of trickers. These people also took their information about the different people living in every flat in supermarkets and shops. They had created their own code and stuck little stickers on every building. These codes of their own showed little drawings as regards the different people living in a block of flats. Whether in such a flat there was a family, a single person, a family with a dog and so on. On a suitable occasion, they would break in the chosen target.

A white overall doesn’t make a doctor

The man went into a big hospital, walked along the different corridors and when he found an empty consultation room, he went inside, put on a white overall and went outside to call for his patients. Many of them were old people with their different ailments. He prescribed them what he thought would work on them and then he asked them a small amount of money on accounts of who knows what, but they gave it to him. On finishing his day’s work, he left his consultation room to go home with his day’s wage.

Times change and so trickers methods do. These days they go on-line with whatever plan they have thought.

Even if one reads about trickers and their latest trick and one thinks one won’t be caught, chances are that one will. We are all victims of those people fond of getting easy cash.
