Looking through the works of the greatest playwright William Shakespeare, the modern woman is able to see how the woman of the past strived to remain pure while at the same time struggled to break free from the dictates of the society. Though the concept of virginity is suppressing in a sense, the woman of the past didn’t fail to see that in preserving it, one can gain more respect. Despite the not-so-good effect of this, may the modern woman see the lighter side of things.
