Pacific War is also called the Greater East Asia War. This war occurred between Japan and the Allies (which included China, the United States, United Kingdom, the Philippines, the Netherlands, and New Zealand). In the Pacific War, the island of Saipan fell into the hands of U.S. forces. This situation occurred in June 1944.
