Illustration of Good vs. Evil.

here is an illustration I drew, the images formed themselves as i drew them on paper, almost similar to when writing a poem and everything flows together… quite miraculous if you ask me. the cross symbolizes faith, obviously. the heart symbolizes love. the cross on the left top of heart symbolizes “Rest in Peace” the one on the left symbolizes “Glory” the angel on the left symbolizes an infant falling into the bad, still in neautral territory. the angel on the left symbolizes an adult being pulled into evil. the devil on the bottom symbolizes evil striving for peace, and rising to glory. the demon on the bottom left symbolizes the defeat of one’s inner demon. the “soul” on the bottom right symbolizes rising to glory, being released from evil. the trident on top symbolizes the evil in all good.

if you have other opinions of symbolic meanings that I the artist wasn’t able to even pick up, please share, more than interested in all of your opinions!

This is a simple essay on the love from others being our motivation to live.

Somewhere out there in this complicated world is someone or someones who think you are a great joy. Interacting with you brings them happiness and fills there hearts with joy. Just being in close proximity to you brings them happiness.

In my life there have been several people like the one I described above. Her beautiful brown eyes and her shinny bright smile would fill my heart with joy. We did not have to talk. I just enjoyed being in her presence.

I am writing this article to answer the question of those in psychological distress of “why should I bother”. I know that when we are experiencing distress we tend to be isolated and only think of ourselves.

However, stop and think of the people who love you. There are many. If you weren’t around, they would be very sad.

Lets look at everything that is required to keep a person a live. On average and adult needs 1800 to 2200 calories a day to be healthy. The food groups should be vitamins, proteins, good fats, and minerals. Its not hard to find which foods are for vitamins and so forth.

A person needs eight hours of restful sleep. This results in a rested heart and rested mind.

There should be average of eight glasses of water 8 ounces each. This cleans out the kidneys and keeps the body lubricated.

Peace, joy, and love is a better life experience. I have written before that Positivism, Optimism, Realism, being grateful, friends, family, spouse, romance, intimacy, are the way to a enjoyable and pleasurable life.

Now, I have no allusion or delusion that by me just typing in my life philosophy people will understand and practice what I believe. It takes years of practice to replace bad attitude with a good and positive attitude.

However, think of it this way. When you realize that there are good rewards from life, you see life in a different manner.

You will sleep, eat, and enjoy people’s company. Therefore, you will practice a healthy lifestyle and life will more bearable if not a right down joy.

In know we would like to think we are an island amongst our self. Life cannot be a fuller experience without people.

Okay, so the modern world has made us isolated. Most of this isolation has to do with the modern ideology of people are troublesome and we must stay away from people.

Yes some people are experiencing challengers they cannot overcome. In addition, it is smart to avoid people who are going to cause us problems. However, not all people are trouble.

Let me say that the idea for this paper started permeating my brain is the last three days. During this time I was exposed to the movie Pay it Forward. I had heard of this movie. However, I suspected it would be a foolish movie, not dignant of my superior intelligence.

I was right. Let me tell you the storyline. A 11 year old son of an alcoholic mother, who has been involved with an abusive man, goes out to make a difference in a homeless man’s life after his teacher gives the student a class assignment to go out and make a difference in their world. The movie ends with the now 12 year old boy dying after being stabbed by a classmate. May I say foolish-Hollywood-dribble.

Okay, some of you who watched the movie may say I am being to harsh. I was rather critical of the movie Pursuit of Happiness. See, media can entertain, educate, or inform. The social lessons preached by this movie are not lessons that will make a positive contribution to society.

We are all aware of the plight of the homeless and those who abuse alcohol and drugs. Therefore, the movie has no educative or informative value.

It did not entertain me. I like happy endings. Could it be that there are no happy ending in life because none exist in media?

Well that is to detrimental and defeatist. There are happy endings in real life. Media producer believe they will get a better income generation is they skirt the edges of depravity.

Another media source I had exposure to while developing this article National Geographic Channels’ “Drugs, Inc”. In this program I saw people who are homeless and killing them selves every day with their addiction.

I have simple notes to offer on this drug program. Never listen to a criminal about his motives for crime. I find the automatic label of “a poor person just trying to survive” troublesome. I like the label of “manipulative person who finds easy profit in crime” a better label.

Okay, now how do these media products fit in to this article? There are many ways that we can destroy ourselves. Many of us spend a lot of energy pursuing these practices.

In addition, for a long time I have known that life is a rather torturous experience for many. I do believe there are “forces unseen” that are trying to destroy us.

However, no one controls our thoughts. We can see things in the negative. We also have the opportunity of being realistic and optimistic. Again, I say thoughts influence emotions and emotions influence behavior. We are bummed out because we have bummed ideas.

If we want to have joy and happiness, we need to have joyful and happy ideas. We cannot spend our day in negativity and expect to feel good.

Therefore, this is a simple essay on everyday health. Every day we eat, sleep, and relax. Everyday, we spend time with happy people. Every day we practice positivism and realism and being grateful. Therefore, when we are burned out and wonder why keep going, we should say to ourselves that we bother for the child who loves us and every one else who loves us.

By Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Dead?
Judgment?
Greed?

Dead?

Is it better to wake up dead or be dead to waking up? ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Judgment?

Do not condemn your brother or sister or come down on them for the choices they make. It is not your right to judge another based on your feelings, what is said in the scriptures and what is taught by those who choose resistance and hate. It’s OK to disagree with what choices they make and reveal the results of the choices they make but NOT to condemn them for making those choices. You have NOT walked in their shoes and experienced what they have learned. You do not feel as they do, experience what they have lived and learned what they have been taught. If you disagree with what they do because it does not contribute to the mutual growth and expansion of all concerned, then seek a way express yourself without hurting another. However, if what they are doing is hurting others, then speak the truth and identify what they are doing to all concerned. Be a light unto the world and don’t allow darkness and deception to proliferate. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Greed?

Only when our congresspersons serve jail time for taking money from corporations will our system begin to purge itself. Until then, greed and ego will reign supreme. Pray for them, vote them out of office and vote for genuine representatives. It’s all about control, domination and manipulation. First, corporations and lobbyists pay off our representatives, dominate their agendas and manipulate laws in their favor. When their term(s) are up, the same corporations hire them as ‘advisors’ because they have lived how the ’system’ works. Greed and selfish motivation is all they care about. They surely don’t care about their constituency with the high unemployment and ‘entitlement’ reform. Keep their corporate financial suppliers happy at all costs; which usually comes out of our pockets. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

A true story about an Alien (Creature from space) which came on Earth to make peace between two rival communities.

The group of boys- including me were playing soccer in our back-yard. The game was heated, and every team was playing, trying every soccer tactic to out-do another. Then the descending object got the eye of my cousin, somehow older than everyone who was in the field of play. He called out for us to see, unfortunately it was too late for most of us to see a thing. I remember catching a glimpse of a multi-coloured object that got lost in a near-by maize field.

We abandoned the game and went searching for the mysterious object. We rushed into the maize field, everyone trying to be the first the see or take the object home. We searched the entire area, where we believed the object has landed but without lack. The darkness fell and we retired from our search.

Early the following morning, I resumed the search but I did not get any thing. By midday, stories started streaming in. I thought it was a joke, but it was true that the alien had landed miles away- in a certain field in our neighbouring community. First I heard of the description of the landed alien- the crowned female, limb-less and with an elongated hind, snake-like coiled and sitting on a rock, a spark of bright light from the aliens body coming in occasional patterns, all smiles with friendly look. I needed to see for myself, to bear a witness in rare mysterious occurrence.

By then, the time was not on my side, so I decided to visit the scene the following day.

The story attracted our local media houses, journalists swarmed in the area, ready to report the mysterious creation. Journalists tried taking pictures, but the camera could not work, only the cloudy-blurred images came out. Even the most powerful lens cameras were rendered helpless in the presence of the alien. The story went unreported because of lack of real evidence. No one would trust a drawn picture of a mysterious ‘being’ present in the country. It was believed that the alien had protective mechanism to counter imaging electronics.

By the time we- my cousin, brother and I reached the scene, onlookers were talking in hush tones, occasionally pointing at the space creation. Rays of light, blond hair, rainbow colours and flashes were the marvel everyone kept admiring. The sparkling King-like grown made her so beautiful, smiling to the crowd and sitting peacefully on the flat but raised rock. I could see her changing positions as if posing for a good shot. Such a beautiful creature.

Initially, the villagers had run away in fear, but they later came back to join other people in watching the free-for-all show . It was a peaceful environment, only shoving and pushing among the onlookers, but cautious not to disturb peace with the unknown creature.

Days later, the alien left the same way it came. Till today, no one knows why the alien came? Why it chose that place and who send it on Earth. But the best thing that happened just after the departure of the marvelous creature was, the call of peace between the two rival communities, and till today no violence has been reported.

A true story.

My short speech on Mother Teresa which I delivered in class last semester.

Someone said “One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody”.

To love your neighbour is an obligation. A world without love is a desert even if it is entirely a forest. I am here to talk of someone who dared to love; someone who stood for love all through life.

This person said “Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty”. This person also said “The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread”.

I am here to talk of none other than Mother Teresa. She was a very brave woman and was not afraid of what others thought of her. She stood for values and never compromised on her core beliefs under any circumstance. She was not the type to say anything just to be diplomatic, or to soothe anyone’s ego.

In 1997, in the midst of thousands, and with the US President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton on stage, she courageously spoke out against legalized abortion. She said “The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between”.

Mother Teresa was a firm opponent of the death penalty. In the year 1990, when a prisoner named Robert Harris was condemned to death, she phoned up the governor of California, Deukmejian, and requested him to grant clemency. The governor spoke of how he simply could not do that as it would be against the law. Mother Teresa told him, “Do what Jesus would do”. He talked again about how it was in the state’s hand, but Mother Teresa repeated what she said-“Do what Jesus would do if he was in your position”. She cut to the heart of the matter.

The execution was stayed.

Mother Teresa was very clear about one thing. She was not a social worker but a Catholic nun, and wherever she went, she put the faith first. She helped thousands of terminally sick street people die a peaceful death surrounded by love. The last thing that bothered her was the allegation of Hindutva groups that her work was a cover for the conversion of people to Catholicism.

Many people speak and give great discourses, but very few walk the talk. Mother Teresa was one of them.

Thank you!

Is it so bad to believe in the possibility of love without hate?

There are some things in this world that we can’t understand, no matter how old we get. Our eyes are always closed, always blind to what is really true. The opinions are strong, but we get nowhere when everybody disagrees.

I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but I don’t understand it. I don’t understand how people can be so heartless, so cruel. Is it just me?
Let me know your thoughts. I’m interested in what others have to say.

Hope the research applies to Triond writers as well.

Will you vote for president or any other elected official because they have a cute “baby face?” Of course not, you’re likely to exclaim. But, according to recent research what you say is not necessarily what you’d do. In fact, people perceived as ‘baby-faced’ are more likely to gain your trust than someone who has a more “mature” face.

Israeli researchers, eager to foster a better understanding of ways to resolve their country’s conflicts with Palestinians, sought to figure out if someone’s appearance would affect their opponents’ opinion of them. In their research they found that a “peace offer” from a baby-faced politician had a better chance of winning over the opposition to their view than if the offer had come from what they called “mature-looking” leaders.

Baby vs. Mature Face?

To prove their theory the researchers had volunteers view an invented news item about a peace proposal accompanied by a photo of a fictional Palestinian leader. The photo was photo-shopped to make the person either mature or baby-faced. The volunteers were then asked to evaluate the peace proposal and rate how trustworthy the politician was. The results were that the “baby-faced” picture was deemed to be more trustworthy and his peace offer garnered more support than the same peace offer that was made by the “mature-faced” image of the politician.

The researchers believe that most people will associate a baby face with honesty, openness and acceptance and that once you “trust your adversary, you have a greater willingness to reach a compromise.”

Opinions Formulated Very Quickly

They also point out that in previous studies of this kind it was shown that viewers can form positive or negative judgments about someone’s trustworthiness in as little as 100 milliseconds. It seems to prove the old adage about the importance of first impressions. They point out “certain facial features evoke feelings of warmth, trust and cooperation while minimizing feelings of threat and competition. People with babyish facial characteristics like large eyes, round chin and pudgy lips are perceived as kinder, more honest and more trustworthy than mature-faced people with small eyes, square jaws, and thin lips. Baby-faced people also produce more agreement with their positions.”

In terms of real world significance, the research suggests the “dominance of television and Internet, combined with the proliferation of photo-ops, photo-shopping and image consultants, means politicians’ faces are seen more than ever and their appearance has a greater chance of affecting the impressions, attitudes and opinions of media consumers.”

Hawks vs. Doves

Facial features also affected populations with different pre-existing attitudes, “by overcoming hawkish and dovish participants’ resistance to change and increasing their perceptions of opponents as trustworthy. Study participants with hawkish positions held markedly negative initial attitudes towards peace and the opponents in a conflict — attitudes that tend to be rigid and resistant to change – but they showed a more significant response than dovish respondents to differences in facial maturity.”

The findings of the study also have important practical implications regarding the mobilization of public opinion in support of conflict resolution. Images of politicians are often manipulated in media coverage to appear more or less favorable and that can affect citizens’ attitudes and voting intentions towards politicians from their own state and country.

One contrary finding of the study suggests a baby face appearance can also at times communicate a lack of assertiveness. So people tend to prefer baby-faced politicians as long they represent the opposing side, while on their own side they prefer representatives who look like they know how to stand their ground. Sounds like there’s going to be a potential for conflict no matter a person’s looks.

You receive private lessons of dream translation when you submit your dreams for a professional dream translation. I give you special lessons into practice, while I translate the meaning of your dreams for you.

Later you will be able to translate your dreams yourself, without depending on a dream translator. The beginning is difficult because the dream language is made only by images and it follows the unconscious logic. Thus, in the beginning my lessons will help you get used with the dream logic, which is totally different from the logic of your ignorant and selfish conscience.

The unconscious mind that produces your dreams is a superior mind that has a divine origin and cannot follow your selfish logic. You must learn how to follow the superior logic of the unconscious mind, which is based on sanctity.

You also have to learn the meaning of the dream symbols in order to understand the dream language. After getting used with the different logic of the dream producer, and after learning the meaning of the most important dream symbols by heart, you will be able to translate your dreams yourself.

I greatly simplified and clarified the complicated and obscure method of dream interpretation discovered by Carl Jung. Today, learning the dream language is not as difficult as it used to be before my clarifications. You only have to exchange images with words in order to understand the wise unconscious messages in your dreams.

I will give you many lessons into practice when you’ll follow dream therapy, and you’ll have the chance to learn many interesting details.

For example, many times the unconscious mind relates dream symbols that are totally opposite in the same dream. So, you have to understand that the unconscious mind makes comparisons. In the beginning of the dream it shows you how your future will be if you’ll obey the unconscious guidance. The dream is pleasant, and you see positive dream symbols.

Then, the dream changes, and you see negative dream symbols. This means that the unconscious mind is showing you what will happen to you if you’ll disobey the wise guidance you receive in your dreams.

Your ideas are selfish and based on your vast ignorance. The divine unconscious mind tries to save your mental stability and help you evolve. Thus, you should agree with the wise guidance you receive instead of insisting on your absurd ideas.

After humbly obeying the guidance you’ll have, you’ll discover that your obedience saved you from pain and regret. The divine unconscious mind knows what is good for you and how you can stop being an animal. You should obey the unconscious guidance with gratitude, even when it goes against your opinion.

The unconscious guidance is superior, while you are so ignorant that you have no idea of how much you ignore.

The privilege of being into contact with a saintly genius who knows everything and works like your natural doctor is really amazing. Now that I simplified Carl Jung’s method of dream interpretation you can immediately learn the meaning of dreams and immediately understand the precious messages of your natural doctor; the unconscious mind.

Your doctor is also your spiritual guide. Your psychotherapy works also like a process of spiritual purification. At the same time, it also works like a process of mind empowerment because you learn how to use all of your brain power.

When you’ll be able to decipher the hidden messages contained in all dream images you’ll surely feel very grateful for having the unconscious protection in your own dreams.

I help you understand the dream language and relate the information you have in your dreams to your life. My lessons will surely help you become a professional dream translator like me. I studied the dream language for three decades, and I cured many people through dream therapy (while simplifying Carl Jung’s method of dream interpretation) for two decades.

My translations are very serious and accurate. I’m true dream expert.

My private lessons will help you understand the unconscious messages very fast. The unconscious mind will surely help you solve your problems. You’ll find sound mental health that lasts forever, real peace, and authentic happiness.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

We can be the difference between more war against the innocent, or a good prospect for a peaceful world.

All the war profiteers are in action again. We must no let them go their way this time. Iran certainly is not the best nation on the planet, and Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Khomeini , both are far away of being friendly and peaceful leaders.

Anyway, we must know that the accusation against the Iranian regime is the “possibility” of Iran getting nuclear weapon, and time after time it has been proven Iran is developing only nuclear energy.

Please read my articles
