Human actions take toll on "everything."

Research shows the depliting resources and condition of the world we live in, Earth. Organizations, news, reports, documentaries, goverment and films are all waving the red flag on Global Warming that has already taken effect on the world. Bad news is good news, people are worried when the effects and stress of the world are made known to us. But, for how long and how much does it affect us?

Because no one seems to be doing anything about it. Big corporate companies are still fueling their huge machines in factories, communities are still littering in the ocean, while the hard work of those who try to clean the ocean is overwhelmed by the majority who pollute the waters. Forests are still being cleared for wood and more land, while wild life are dying. The food chain of the world is imbalanced, and we are finding more dead never discovered animals deep down in the once too cold oceans to uncover.

While factories are polluting the air, the big corporate company is drowning in cash, as their profits increases from their name, product and “services”. While forests are being cleared, landslides and wild life growing extinct, the big corporate companies are making more money from selling the land, building more houses and apartments, profiting from the dying world.

But has anyone stopped to think? The fact the world is deplicting of oxygen, deplicting of land, deplicting of oil, deplicting in heatlh, that even having a mountain of thousand dollar bills as high as the Everest is not going to be of any good, besides a useful tool for wiping the bottoms of humans when money no longer matters. The damages that have occurred to the world, is something money can never buy, and neither is life. If humans think that they are capable of being great and doing amazing things, because we are meant to be the smartest of all living creatures, then replace the forest and trees that have survived through the world wars but have been cut down, replace the oil that is in the core of the Earth that have become oil only through the centuries it has been there. Bring back the lifes of those who died in the tsunami, and revive already extinct creatures who became extinct only because of human ignorance.

If money if really more important than the world, then buy back a perfect world that it was once. The fact that humans are so selfish, self-centred and uncourteous, watching out only for themselves and thier wellfare, equates to Earth today.

China creating fake inedible eggs to sell to their community, because it is cheaper than the real thing? Running a little girl over in 3 different vehicles, with nearly twenty people walking by, letting her bleed and die? Government of developing countries forgetting about it’s people, and decide to corrupt just so they can own the latest, most luxurious Mercedez on the market, for now?

Does anyone see the horrible state this Earth has become? Or does everyone honestly think that we will all be moving to Mars to survive? Does everyone honestly think that ‘everyone’ is going to bother if ‘you’ or your family makes it to Mars? Does everyone honestly think that Mars will be like Earth?

Have everyone forgotten that IF humans move to Mars, we would be back in the barbaric, uncivilized age? There will not be internet, no computers, no cars, no buildings, no nice apartments, nothing you see around you will be on Mars. And even if one day Mars “could” be like Earth, you will not live long enough to see it.

Think again, how long more do we really have before this world gives up on the people living on it. Ice bergs in the Artic and Antartic are already melting more than you would ever imagine. Water level is rising, and the heat that is stuck on Earth, unable to leave the ozone layer around the world, serves as rising temperature like a chicken in a mircrowave. But if you have given up on the the world, because you are too selfish to care about other people. Then move to Mars yourself. Because those who do still care, are doing everything they can in trying to prolong the effects of what the world will become, for the sake of their love ones, who would still be around after their death.

There is an old saying that "every man is an island", just how true is this....

I remember, many years ago now, when I went to philosophy lessons that one of the subjects for discussion was “Is every man an island?”. This has stuck with me as a question for over 50 years now, and still I cannot come to a solid answer. If we look around our world, in this modern era, it is difficult to see any true and meaningful brotherhood of humankind. There are of course those who work relentlessly to try and bring about reconciliation between various countries and factions who seem intent on obliterating each other, but these tend to be by far the exception and not the rule. We have a middle east where Arab brother is against Arab brother, a Europe where bonds of friendship appear to be under constant strain, a USA that is still growing out of adolescence and speaks of unity but lives in a state of federation, an African sub continent that still has echos of slavery and subdegation sounding in the ears of those who struggle to survive in huge areas while the white man in South Africa is still coming to terms with the fall of apartheid. The South Americas drift from one crisis to another, from one revolution to another, from one dictatorship to another. Some of the countries of South America are denuding themselves of the natural infrastructure they have, and are therefore creating the bleakest of futures for their coming generations, some people getting very rich from this exercise in stupidity; other countries in South America are ruled by mobsters who create havoc across the world by the transporting of drugs, and still other countries are ruled by virtual dictatorships. Now all this would seem to point to the answer to the question “Is every man an island?” as being yes. In the broader picture, the world wide view, all the situations shown above would not be conducive with each man/woman as being connected with others in any meaningful way. Just because we say good morning to our neighbour and have a drink with our friend does not mean that we are connected. Because we are married and have a family does not make us connected, loving someone does not make us connected. All those things make us human, none of them make us connected.

So what is it to be other than an island? Well, in my own opinion, it means that we have to accept that we are, each of us, in fact, islands. If we can accept that state of being then we can work through how we can best interact with each other. We need to see that each of us, as an island, must connect to all the other islands out there in the world through an ocean of understanding, respect, and the best of human conditions, love. In this way we do not encroach upon the independence of each individual island, yet we can visit it in peace and mutual respect to share our own island self with it. There were surely days, long gone, when our ancestors were indeed not islands, but each tribe formed a small gathering of selves and thus formed a communal entity. We have, through the eons of time, become civilised and with this civilisation we have lost the communal entity. We share the planet, we should share the problems the planet has. At the moment it is left to the 3rd world to pick up all the flotsam and jetsam that the more developed countries of this world throw onto them. The rich of the world become richer at the expense of the rest of humanity, there is no argument against this by the way; it is simple fact. It is argued by some that bringing everyone down to the same level simply means all of us will be poor and struggling to survive. I don’t know if that is true, do you? I do know that having hundreds of millions of people in this world starving to death for lack of food, or dying of disease and illness because of lack of medicines and care is a badge of shame that each of us should be wearing. We all share the same destiny after all; it is a truth that many of the poor and impoverished welcome that destiny. Will things change? What do you think?

Jessica Simpson's baby photos have finally been revealed. On Wednesday, PEOPLE Magazine published the first pictures of Maxwell Drew with her mommy. As previously reported, Simpson and her husband-to-be, Eric Johnson, sold the first photosof their baby to PEOPLE for an estimated $800,000. The interviewand the photos are getting a lot of attention today, as people are just dying to see this little girl (who was in her mom's belly for way too long!) and to see what Jessica has to say about motherhood.

“From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!” Simpson told PEOPLE .

Jessica Simpson’s baby photos and new interview revealed a lot about their new life as a family. For starters, Maxwell Drew has super-chubby cheeks and her mom’s eyes. She is also said to becalm, just like her dad. It has been confirmed that Simpson delivered via C-section, somethingthat many people assumed from the start. Simpson says that the recovery has not been easy and that she is getting used to her new “full-time job” especially when it comes to nursing. “It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her.I miss holding her and having that closeness,” Simpson said. Jessica Simpson’s baby photos canbe seen in the new issue of PEOPLE Magazine on newsstands Friday.

Amartya Sen the Nobel Prize winner economist has also criticized the situation and obsession with growth. Growth is not an end but a path to achieve goals like education and health. He says that Poverty statistics are controversial and need basic changes.

India is called the biggest democracy of the world. This epitaph is given only due to the greater population of the country otherwise the records shows the opposite. The democratic norms are nonexistent. The corrupt politicians are the asset of the democracy and the British styled bureaucracy is dominant in the country. The common man is unable to raise his voice against the exploitation of the tycoons. There is a paradoxical situation everywhere in India. You can easily juxtapose the poor and the rich people as for as number is concerned. The caste system is not the only cause of this uneven distribution of sources and resources. The caste system is supported by the civil servants and politicians of this great democracy. A recent review of the economic growth and population welfare reveals some heinous facts about this self styled world power. UPR (Universal Periodic Review) of India a coalition of NGOs severely criticized the gap between the country’s growth rate and rate of poverty, malnutrition, health and sanitary conditions. They blamed that even when laws and policies exist, their execution is disappointing and evaluation of efforts is a difficult job.
The average growth rate between 2007 and 2011 was 8.2 percent but poverty declined only 0.8 percent. These are official figures which are often amalgamated. The poverty level was evaluated by setting 50 cents earnings daily. The standard is said an insult to the poor. These standards for measuring poverty are not in harmony with international standards and did not follow a human rights approach. If India follows the international standards for measuring poverty the rate would be 55 percent of the population.
Amartya Sen the Nobel Prize winner economist has also criticized the situation and obsession with growth. Growth is not an end but a path to achieve goals like education and health. He says that Poverty statistics are controversial and need basic changes.
India stands on the 134th stage out of 187 countries on the UN human development index.
India has 21 percent hungry population (malnutrition). 42 percent children under five are underweight. The food stuff is in plenty but its distribution is unjust and uneven.
Sanitary conditions are worse than the poverty or malnutrition. 51 percent of the Indian population uses open air for defecation. 60 percent of rural population lacks access to toilets.

The largest number of people in the world “Over 700,000 of our people are involved in the cleaning of toilets using their bare hands; this is a huge shame on the country. The politicians raise slogans of becoming a super power but do not look back. They knowingly ignore the plight of the poor people of India. Every country may become a super power but only when its people are prosperous and enjoy all amenities of life. With the world records from bottom India cannot even become a power not to speak of super power.

Change in life patterns is an essential requirement of life and should be preferred to experience progress.

Some people enjoy change, and they look forward to new experiences. Others reminiscent of their lives to stop the same, and they do not vary their everyday habits.

A number of individuals like to live in the alike house, give birth to the same job and lifestyle all their lives. However, others aspire to changes and new experience. Personally, for the quite a few reasons, which I strength of character give explanation below.

First of all, changes in one’s life bring many benefits. One tries new things, gains new comprehension and experience. I think it is great for the reason that the lacking changes soul becomes boring. I am forever trying to make changes in my life. Moreover, whilst I sense that my kick is boring I do not sense attractively about it. I feel akin to my tired individuals living for nothing. I did not do anything exiting, I learnt zilch appealing and I moral washed out my time.

Second of all, populate need changes. Furthermore, we requisite obstacles to overcome and make our goals. I suppose that changes appoint us stronger, more persistent, added self-confident, and more patient. Also, I touch that all people who succeeded in living in the vein of the changes and new experience as it is impossible to be the greatest at a little field without perfecting the existing knowledge and gain new experience. People catch every opening to gather more and modification their life for the better.

From the other side, colonize who like their lives to stay the constant are very permanent. They produce the same job all their life, the unaffected habits, the same weekend and even the same time in being out. I think it is boring. Pardon? Determination they let know their children approaching their lives? Come again? Kind of part will they do for the society? I think such ancestors are just frightened of the changes.

I ponder curiosity and aspiration to the new experience are two of the main reasons of human evolution. Nation for ever and a day wanted to break limits and get more knowledge and experience. So, people who enjoy revolution are the engine of human development.

Time is gold and our most precious treasure not to waste it with petty things. Other people may think that you are wasting your time if you sit to listen to music or walk in a museum, but you are not.

Some people will exclaim that isn’t easy at this time and age. Many like myself may be searching for a job without any good results. When one has to live on a tight budget, one cuts down on expenditure to spend in what’s only necessary, that is, rent if one hasn’t got its own place, electricity and gas bills, food and stuff.

Living on such a situation, one may think that there’s no way one can lead a happy lifestyle, obsessed as one may be to have a job to keep afloat. The days may pass quickly for such a person. This person will say that he or she has no chance to enjoy themselves. How come? Entertainment is costly, and never mind a break away.

Hold on a minute. Who says that one can’t live happily even on a tight budget and so many bills to pays up?

First of all don’t be choosy when it comes to accept a job, because on these days jobs are scarce and there are way too many of us in the work market. As long as they pay you a salary or a wages and they give you plenty of free time for yourself, it should be fine. What if one has to do one of the so called menial jobs when one has a good CV and has some expectations? I don’t envy, for instance, these high profile executives who earn a lot, but they also spend a long day at work to the extend of becoming workaholics.

If you are searching for a day job to be able to pay for your keep, do organise yourself a weekly shedule, say from Monday to Friday and from 8 to 4. As a matter of fact, searching for a job is also work and it has to be subjected to a roster. When you have completed your day’s work, switch off the computer if it happens that you are searching through the Internet. Your day’s work has finished.

Call up friends or relatives to know how they’re getting on, or to see if you can meet.

Take strolls the park if you happen to live in a city or plan a good excursion if you are in a rural environment. The contact with Nature makes us more human and it’s very uplifting.

Join in whatever social or cultural activities they are in town that might be of your likes and will help you to meet people.

Don’t envy those who can still spend their weekends in shopping malls or those who think there’s no time for leisure time.

Don’t even envy those who can flee the city for break away. You can’t, but there are still things you can do in town.

Think of what other things you’d like to do apart from working if you happen to still have a job, eat and sleep. Surely, there must be something that you always wanted to develop, but for many reasons you never put them into practice.

Stop to read a book or to listen to music.

There are just so many things to do that it seems like a crime to waste time idling about or getting bored or depressed. Our time on Earth is limited and it is in fact short one, even though, one may live up to very old age. It is gold and our most precious treasure.

Civilization have modified the way of living following various methodologies. And changed the view point of dwelling as well.

Man, because of the ages, has undergone various changes commencing the phase whilst he lived in the caves to in our time after he lives in a comfortable apartment. But one gadget with the aim of remnants the same is with the intention of populating all the time lived in groups and organizations such as families, the negligible group, and tribes, the larger group. I believe that the sanity why frequent exist in groups is for the reason that we could do with consultation and what did you say? Is new crucial we want leg to survive. So, on or after old epoch to these days populate merged into groups for the reason that it complete them stronger and helped to overcome loads of obstacles and difficulties.

Leading of all, family necessary to speak in the midst of every other. We essential to assign out thoughts and view and both other. I meditate it is fantastically essential to recognize with the intention of somebody deem the uniform way one does and wires one. In addition, exchange of ideas is one of the facial appearance of logical animals. All animals so as to can impart together with every other animate in herds and bolster both new after one of them is in need.

The be with reason, why I assume groups and order are central to family is as they assemble us stronger. For example, football set dramatically enhanced therefore one player. An additional example is the olden hunters. At the old epoch dwell in gathered in series to get cooking and continue in terrible conditions. It was unfeasible for one man to slay a big animal, but once folks gathered in groups their odds increased. Scientists say with the purpose of populace survived since they lived organized and supported both other.

For the reasons, which I mentioned above, I trust groups and organization’s games a key part in our life. Moreover, working class evolution would not be viable without them.

This an article about certain groups of people in society.

Appearances

It seems to me that most people are insincere. I infer rather decidedly as to the subject. Just a few years prior I had an epiphany. In my realization, I found that things are not always what they appear to be. As I was prone to think all smiling faces were happy ones. I know its a little naive right? But who said you could not be an optimist? The word is still relevant. However, my previous encounters with people has enlightened me to the contrary Though I am not a cynic in the least, I do believe there is a superficial side to many. I have become keen in determining what is supercilious and unreal. What do I mean by this? Of the observations made I find that most individuals are fictitious in nature. You know the kind that hides behind a facade in public. It is not difficult to discover who they are. The places vary in which they are accustomed to living.

There is no particular ethnic group or race stereotyped. They emerge from all lifestyles, actors of the people. There are three classes that exist. Often you will encounter those of the gossiping sort. These are the ones maliciously talking about someone else. It is no surprise that they delight in such frivolity. Jealousy is the root cause for their prattle. Because another person has material possessions or potential to succeed they become envious. It is amazing what furtive actions they will take to conceal their false reports. The pretense of friendliness is what the gossipers usually display. They invite the victim of malignant slander to participate in the same idleness against another. Unwittingly, the newcomer takes part in groundless rumors, unaware that he was once the subject of conversation.

Furthermore, the one now disdained was formerly among the gossipers. I guess the cliché still holds true, “Misery loves company”. Secondly, there is an alternative group of individuals. Their aim is to keep up with the “Jones”. I laugh at such persons as these. They live above their means for a taste of popularity; there is ever a thirst for ambitious prestige. Preoccupied with the finer things of life, they steep themselves in fashion. Moreover, these self-lovers buy expensive vehicles for outward display. In addition houses go up for the novelty of the feeling. There is no prolonged time before the veneer begins to break. The momentary security starts to fade as repossession, lack of currency, and foreclosure becomes eminent. Finally, there is an incessant worry of prying eyes.

At last, the third class of individuals I consider to be the most absurd. They enjoy when others envy them for their favorable circumstances. Although scheming their way to success, they think of themselves as honest. Rarely speaking of the clandestine motives or lies misconstrued into necessity, they boast on only what they have. They are jealous also, except on noticing what others may have, all too plainly become persistent in their efforts to outdo the competition. In accumulating more values, they seek to veil their true sentiments.
When jealousy rears its ugly head this gratifies their ego. I believe the ancient Greeks had
a word for those persons with such erroneous behavior, hypocrites! I wonder if the term still
applies today?

Wherever I’ve been I’ve always been in contact with Doctors Without Borders, whether to work in any of their varied campaigns for desperate situations, paid a small fee or at the very least I’ve logged on to read their website. These doctors could be working in their home places comfortably, but they have chosen to practise their Medicine in places where it’s desperately needed, and more often than not at their own risk. On these days, I collaborate by buying their tablets that are on sale in many pharmacies at one euro a box. They’re sweet, eucalyptus flavoured lozenges and they are called Tablets For Someone Else’s Pain, which money will go to help them to to relieve people from real illnesses in any part of the world.

They have struggled long for the respect of Human Rights regardless of creed, race, gender or whoever they are the ones to stumble on Human Rights. Their annual reports on abuse or torture worldwide are well known. wherever they are, its members are active organising gigs and fund-rising events. There is no abuse on Earth that will escape from them and their reports will be on any newspaper to inform and keep people aware of what’s going on at this time and age.

We all know what’s living without freedom of press or speech. Everyday we read or hear of reporters being jailed or killed in many parts of the world. It is a risky profession if one wants to inform well to readers. The image of Juanxu Rodriguez a photographer who went with a Spanish journalist to cover up the US invasion in Panama several years ago went round the world. This man wanted to have a good photograph of the tanks entering in the city. He left his hotel and ran with his camera for a close-up, but he was smashed by one of the tanks. It was what Robert Capa said once, if your photograph isn’t good enough, it’s because you weren’t close to the object enough, either.

As many of us know, Greenpeace is an ecologist non-governmental organization that campaigns and struggles for the respect of environment. As the photograph shows, their ship known as Rainbow is well known as they sail across the oceans to stop overfishing or pirate fishing or Army’s ammunition practice in many parts of the world that pose a risk for species and the environment.

ATTAC is another interesting one worth taking into account. It was created years ago by Ignacio Ramonet as director of Le Monde Diplomatique newspaper. Its slogan is Another world is possible, and indeed it is if we put ourselves into the task of achieving it. We aren’t to forget that we, the peoples make up the majority of world population. They have been active in publishing small books that inform us on the hottest issues such as the present financial meltdown and why it happened among other issues that the average person may not know, but they should know. They are for the abolition of tax paradises and a charge on financial transactions. they are well known for their summer schools on a choice of topics and their participation on recent global calls to demonstrate wherever we are to stop the gap between the rich and the poor getting wider

At a time when traditional political parties have failed in offering solutions to acute problems that we are all facing such as mass unemployment, destruction of our dearest heritage, which is our environment, homelessness or the younger generations that have no future, these non-governmental organizations may be the light to achieving a better world for the majority of people. They are a hope for many and a real inspiration.

In this life, you could go on an unstoppable ride to success if only you don’t stop yourself, because for every great dream that you visualize, it is only you who can stop yourself by destroying the spirit of perseverance.

There are people who visualize great ideas, they even take on the path of trying to achieve these great dreams, but along the way, when they encounter the very first obstacle, they give up and eventually die with their dreams.

In life, perseverance is golden. Single mindedness, resolve, determination, self belief and the lingering spirit of never giving up are the forces that have made many successful men in this world. It is basically self belief that distinguishes people who do great things with their lives from those who die with their dreams.

People who are armed with the spirit of perseverance listen to what others say, but never let the negative things they say rule their lives. They stick to their dreams and work on seeing it succeed according to their original plans. Even if they hit a snag, they don’t just give up, they persist and keep trying over and over again.

If you attempted to research into the early beginnings of millionaires who rule our economic world today, you will find a common trait in nearly all of them and that is, they never gave up, they persevered even when the going got tough and continued to persevere even when others told them point blank that they were wasting their time and money.

In this life, you could go on an unstoppable ride to success if only you don’t stop yourself, because for every great dream that you visualize, it is only you who can stop yourself by destroying the spirit of perseverance. Are you into some big dream right now? Please don’t give up!
