This image is taken by jeff Wiedner on 1989. It is the “Unkown rebel in Tiananmen Square” or the Tiananmen square protest of 1989. With death of 23 civilians with total of 7000 – 10,000 injuries.

Very popular image of a girl from Peshawar, pakistan taken by Steve McCurry on 1984. The name of the model is Sharbati Ghul. Steve McCurry looking for this girl since after he took the picture and he found her in 2002.

After the death of Kennedy on June 5, 1986 Bill Eppridzh took this picture. And became one of the images trend after the death of Kennedy.

Why Demi Moore Lose Her Cool and Hit a Photographer

It’s not a surprise that most Hollywood stars are accused of hitting a photographer. Like many actors and actresses, Demi Moore is no exception. With many things on her head right now and trying to survive her marriage with hubby Ashton Kutcher, it’s not surprising that she would hit someone who would try to make her life more mesirable as it is. Magazines, media and social network already know that her relationship with her hubby is off the hook.

Now, she’s accused of hitting a paparazzo who filed a battery report against her. An unidentified snapper said, “Demi was crazy; she was totally losing it. I was standing on the sidewalk, trying to get a few shots of her and she was going completely mad. She tried to jump on me and swipe my camera”. With no visible signs of injuries, he filed a report against Demi.

Heroes of The Civil War: Matthew Brady

Matthew Brady lived from 1823 to 1895. He is the photographer whose pictures of the Civil War have endured to form an indelible image for posterity. With little formal education, Brady began to study painting in New York. There he was introduced to Samuel F.B. Morse, the artist who was also experimenting with the new medium of photography.

Brady learned from Morse, and then opened his own portrait studio in New York in 1842. Soon Brady had more customers than he could handle. He then began winning prizes, and by 1850 he was publishing a Gallery Of Illustrious Americans with great success.

By 1860, he had another studio in Washington, DC and among his subjects was the new President, Abraham Lincoln. When war broke out, Brady convinced Lincoln that he could photograph the camps and battles and was quickly authorized to accompany the Federal troops.

He and his assistants spent much of the next four years taking over 3,500 photographs of every conceivable subject connected with the war. There were portraits of military and civilian figures, camp life and many battle scenes. Photographing the battles often involved considerable risk for Brady and his crew, and there were constant problems with the awkward wet-plate process and gear they used.

When the war ended, Brady left with a priceless encyclopedia collection, but his private business had suffered so much that he was financially ruined. In 1875 the government purchased a set of 2,000 of his photographs, but Brady never gained his former prestige or prosperity. Much of his work had been dispersed among private collectors by the time Brady died. It was in 1954 that the Library of Congress purchased the best collections for the nation’s archives.

There are many different reasons why someone would want to make a nude portfolio.

The most common desire is for a visual document of a period in their lives. Many people regret not having photos taken when they were younger. Consequently, they want photo shoots that will prevent greater regret later. You want to feel beautiful, and a portfolio can help you recall this moment in time.

A true quality nude portfolio starts with trust. You have to trust your photographer to make you look sexy, desirable, young, feminine or masculine. You do not want to trust blindly. We are all, in essence, beautiful beings, and should always be, first and foremost, respected by our photographer. Respect will build trust; it allows you to feel relaxed, and draws out your inner beauty and confidence as an individual. Only then will your body speak – through photographs.

Amanda de Kadenet – British actress and photographer. Previously, it was more commonly known as the daughter of Alan de Kadeneta – British rally car racer, and as a socialite, otbivshayasya the hands of their parents. Later it came to fame fashion and portrait photographer.

Amanda de Kadenet was born on 19 May 1972 in England. She began her multi-faceted activity at the age of 14 years, acting as the host of a popular talk show “The Word”, coming in the night air of the fourth channel on the television the UK. Then appeared in several small roles in various films, including several independent films Allison Anders. In 1999 she stopped making movies and tried herself as a photographer, bought a second-hand his first camera “Leica M6″. Amanda soon realized that he wanted to look at the world through the camera lens, and her new career is starting to take shape. As a fashion photographer she shoots for magazines “Spin”, “Vogue”, “Jane” and several others. In 2005 was released her album entitled as “Rare Birds” (”Rare Birds”) and consisting of hundreds of photos taken during the last decade. In the photo are Sophie Dahl, Drew Barrymore, Beck Hansen, Nick Valensi, Keanu Reeves and many other public personalities. In 2008, in the April issue of “Harper’s Bazaar” published an interview with Moore conducted by Amanda de Kadenet. The most extensive collection of photos of Amanda’s was represented at the exhibition of 2006, held in New York in the gallery “Staley Wise”.

In 1990, de Kadenet began dating bassist of the band “Duran Duran” by John Taylor. The couple married at the end of 1991, when Amanda was pregnant daughter of John – Atlanta, born in April 1992. Then the young family moved to Los Angeles to Amanda could continue his acting career, while at the same time – get out of the reach of the British press. De Kadenet cultivated a friendship with Courtney Love – both secular girls appeared at the ceremony of awarding one in the same robes and crowns. By 1995, the marriage with Taylor began gradually to fall apart and ended in divorce in 1997. Subsequently, Amanda intermittently met with other rich and famous men. At the end of 2001, she began a relationship with Nick Valensi, whom she married in 2006, and in that year were born their children, twins – a boy they called Silvan, and the girl – Ella.

Amanda has two brothers – Alexander and Richard. Richard worked as a detective in the city police headquarters in London until he was convicted for forging credit cards.

Amanda is now a family is torn between New York and Los Angeles, continues his career as a photographer and working on his first film.

The Reflection of Buildings and Skyscrappers

As most of us know, the reflective medium is not limited to water only. Glass panes can also work wonders. In our modern world where buildings are made of glass and steel, manmade reflective surfaces are all around us. For example, sunsets and clouds will look fantastic on the face of a reflective skyscrapper. Although many of these surfaces are only half reflective, they can be used as a powerful reflective tool. A pane of glass can be a medium for very surreal effects too.

You may experiment with the manmade surfaces around you which do not have to be perfectly reflective, such as dirty glass. Even if it is not the prettiest for a passerby, it may provide a gritty noir mood to a photograph. Partial reflections can be very effective so keep a keen look out when you are walking through any urban environment. Having a creative eye is bound to be fruitful.

Is It Legal to Take a Picture of a Trademark?

A trademark, which is sometimes called a service mark, a trade name, a trade dress, etc, is a distinctive mark that a manufacturer uses to both distinguish their goods from others’ as well and to symbolize its authenticity. A trademark can include symbols, words, designs, names, and more. And it could be a combination of a number of different design elements.

In order to be valid registration is not required on either a state or a federal level. However, if a trademark is registered at the federal level it is often accompanied by a symbol like ®. If not, it may have a symbol such as ™ attached to it.

Service marks can be lost if they are not used. And, in order to be valid, a trademark has to actually be used in trade.

Companies may also use marks in conjunction with services along with their goods. Marks can consist of packaging, building designs, etc.

When a mark is registered its specific category of services and goods has to be identified. The registration will then only protect the mark for those particular classes of use.

It is prohibited to use images, words, etc, that have been trademarked if it’s likely that the use will confuse people pertaining to the authenticity or origin of the product(s). However, non-commercial or descriptive uses of names and trademarks could be permitted under the doctrine of fair use.

If you are a photographer you may be wondering if you can take pictures that show buildings which are registered trademarks. If you are taking the photographs from public vantage points then you have the right to take your pictures.

For the most part you will be able to use these pictures for editorials. None-the-less, if you are submitting the photos for publication, you should note that you don’t have any permissions or releases. And, if you can, you should have your client indemnify you against any claims that might arise from their using your photograph.

Keep in mind that third party rights violations are mostly the result of the use of the image rather than the image itself. And, once you’ve agreed to license the photograph you will no longer have any control over how it will be used.

If your photograph contains trademarked images and your photo will be used for commercial purposes there is no set answer as to whether or not you will be violating trademark rights if it is used. It comes down to the details of how it will be used and what the usage will look like.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Get Engaged

In an exclusive interview for UK television broadcaster ITV, news correspondent Tom Bradbury talked to William and Kate about their relationship and their up coming Marriage.

William and Kate seemed very relaxed throughout the interview; Kate, as always, looked beautiful in a corn flower blue dress. She was clearly glowing with happiness despite the glare of media attention that is currently surrounding the couple.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards was invited to Buckingham Palace to photograph the couple and the all important ring. The engagement ring belonged to William’s mother, the infamous Princess Diana. Touchingly William said he chose to give Kate his mum’s ring as a way of allowing his late mother to remain close to all the engagement proceedings and the couple themselves. When Arthur photographed the ring Kate’s hand was shaking, she was understandably nervous about her first interview and photo call, and she said “Oh William hold my hand.”

When asked about their first meeting William and Kate explained that they had been friends first. They shared a flat with a couple of other students at university in Scotland and William said “living together gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better and hang out as friends…” William and Kate then recalled that William had been a terrible cook at university, Kate explained that she would often have to “come in and save something” from burning or bubbling over. William later said “being friends first was a massive advantage…now it’s easy and fun being with each other.”

It was well documented in the UK press that the couple spilt up briefly; William’s initial response to this was “don’t believe everything you read in the papers.” But the couple went on to say in high insight the split offered them valuable time for self reflection. William said “We were both very young; we needed to find ourselves, find our own way.” Kate went on to say that although she was very upset and unhappy about the split at the time it made her a stronger person “…looking back it was valuable personal time.”

On to happier times and as the couple discussed the prospect of marriage they seemed very much in love. William said “When I first met Kate I knew she was very special and there was something there I wanted to explore further.” Kate explained that when one dates long term there are good times and bad times but after “a good how many years?” the couple decided the time was right. William added “And obviously I’m very funny and she loves that.”

“As with any couple it’s all about timing” the Prince said. He explained that he wanted to concentrate on his military career at first and he wanted Kate to be in a good place career wise too. “[Now] it’s the right time.”

On Diana, Kate said “I wish I could have met her; she was an inspirational woman…someone to look up to.” Undoubtedly comparisons will be made between Kate and Diana; after all Kate is to become the next British Princess and one day the Queen. But William explained “no one is trying to fill my mother’s shoes; we want to carve out a life for ourselves.”

The engagement has been much anticipated as Prince William and Kate’s relationship developed. The Prince explained that he wanted to give Kate time to settle in to the family and the lifestyle; which included a great deal of hounding from the press. “I wanted to give her plenty of time to settle in…to back out if she needed to.”

Their wedding will be the biggest wedding in 30 years and Kate described the up coming nuptials as “nerve wracking…I don’t know the ropes but I’ll be quick to learn and do my best.” “She’ll do really well” William added, showing confidence in Kate and a clear affection for his fiancée. Kate finally added that with her responsibility as a royal she hopes “to make a difference.”

The couple seemed joyous, relaxed and in love. They seem to be like any other couple; they clearly care about one another very deeply and respect plays a big part in their relationship. Despite knowing they will spend a lot of their married life in the limelight William and Kate seem to prefer the quiet life. They are currently living in Anglesey, North Wales where William is working in the military Search and Rescue division.

In the past Kate has been hounded by journalists and paparazzi, especially when the couple split, but now that they are engaged she will be under the protection of Buckingham Palace and Scotland Yard. So late night pap chases will be a thing of the past.

It is clear that from now on everything Kate and William do will be massive, their first royal tour, their first royal appointment and of course their wedding; which will most likely take place in Westminster or Saint Paul Cathedral. Kate will very soon be a Princess and eventually a Queen alongside the future King William.
