The internet has created easy access for people looking to plagiarize written materials. Anyone writing a report on nearly any subject can find an example online they can either purchase or plagiarize to pass it off as their own. With so many different articles and reports published online, how can anyone keep on top of them all to ensure submitted work is original?

Searching The Internet For Plagiarized Work ourrself

Since the majority of plagiarized works come from the internet, it’s possible to search online to find an original if we suspect what we are reading has been plagiarized. This can be doable if we are familiar with all of the many websites that offer plagiarized works or if we only have one paper to look for. If we are a college professor or someone who deals with many different published works, searching for online plagiarism ourself isn’t very feasible.

Rely On Our Brain To Check For Plagiarism

One of the most ineffective methods of checking for online plagiarism is to rely on our brain. Even the most intelligent and well-read person can’t possibly know about every published work and will likely miss most pieces of plagiarized work. We could have a team of readers working to check for plagiarism and still not catch the fact that the work is copied.

Hiring A Check For Plagiarism Service

One of the best ways to do a plagiarism check is to hire a company that offers plagiarism checking software. Anyone who would handles a lot of written materials can benefit from using plagiarism checking software.

A typical service works like this: customers send written works to the check for plagiarism service. The papers are automatically processed by the company’s computer servers. At that point, they are checked against written material on the internet such as blogs, message boards and other online sites. A good plagiarism checking software will also check for plagiarism against publications like books, academic and medical journals, articles and magazines, as well as academic, law, medical and institutional databases.

Once our document is compared to others using plagiarism checking software, we should receive an online plagiarism report. This report will likely show how our report compares to other written work found online. Some companies even provide a percentage so we know exactly how much of the paper was taken from other sources. A percentage of 5 or less is ideal, anything more than 5% is usually not tolerated in academic settings. When it’s permissible, some check for plagiarism reports even include the link of where the original material was found, allowing us to compare the two works.

With online plagiarism all over the internet, anyone who works with original written material must have a way to check for plagiarism. Since no one can be expected to read and remember everything ever published in the world or search the internet alone, it’s a good idea to find a company that offers plagiarism checking software to ensure we are able to catch every instance of plagiarism.

Steps to Check Plagiarism Online

If we are doubtful of a certain piece of writing and think it’s been copied from the Internet, do this:

Browse the internet and open a reputable plagiarism checker free online.

We wll find a blank text box on our screen. Post the text in question in the box. Click on the search button. Good sites usually take less than a minute to give us the results.

If the text contains copied sentences, the plagiarism checker will detect and highlight them.

Click on the highlighted areas. The checker will direct us to the original article from where the content was taken.

Once we become aware of the copied part, revise the content to make it unique.

Check the content again using the plagiarism checker free online.

We need to keep checking until the plagiarism checker gives no highlights. This shows that the content is original.

Benefits of Plagiarism Checker for Writers

Imagine the embarrassment we face when somebody claims we have copied a part of their article! Sometimes, it happens that we write a sentence without intending to copy. But, it turns out to be exactly the same sentence structure as another writer’s. This not only creates misunderstanding, but also shows us in a bad light as a writer, even though we were not at fault. Plagiarism checker free online comes in handy when we want to make sure our article is absolutely unique.

Such a service is proving helpful in the educational field. Because of the quickness and convenience provided by the Internet, students have become increasingly dependent on the web world to complete their study projects. However, call it sheer laziness or laxity; they avoid the pain of changing the content. Instead of collecting information and writing their paper in their own words, they simply copy and paste the content and prepare a so-called impressive report or project as their own. At first glance, such a report looks quite impressive. However, when we put it on plagiarism checker free online, the ugly truth stares in our face.

Copying and pasting from the Internet has become a menace nowadays. It not only hampers the creativity of the individual who indulges in such an act, but also taints his or her writing ability. To keep the sanctity of writing intact, plagiarism checker free online helps to catch copycats. Moreover, wouldn’t it be nice if writers took only the information, and not complete sentences from the internet?

Different sites different rules all talking about plagiarism, sometimes fear studying others, lest get something in!

Plagiarism

A very small word

With large explanation,

Different interpretations,

Subjective and unique opinions,

Since the sixteenth century-

Something could slightly change

Though in the century eighteenth.

Internet has added fuel to the more complex fire!

Now the blogg-sites and their rules

Sometimes put us in trouble

Calling as kidnapper-

With punitive actions like banning

Some don’t even have time to warn,

Just slam.

This is plagiarism.

Plagiarism -

A wrongful appropriation,

close imitation,

Purloining and publication-

Another one’s language,

Thoughts, ideas, or expressions.

Some add- the representation of –

As one’s own work,

But the notion remains in a problem

With nebulous boundaries.

Plagiarism-

The issue of an immoral and originality-

As an ideal emerged in Europe

only in the 18th century,

with the Romantic movement,

while previously authors and artists were encouraged to

copy the masters as closely as possible and

avoid unnecessary invention.

The 18th century morals been institutionalized and

Enforced prominently in the sectors of academia and

journalism,

plagiarism-

An academic dishonesty and

a breach of journalistic ethics,

subject to sanctions like expulsion and other severe career damage.

Plagiarism

Not in the arts;

Resisted the tradition of copying

as a fundamental practice of the creative process,

The modernist and

postmodern movements arrived in the century twenty.

Still tolerated by Artists of century twenty first.

Plagiarism is not a crime per se but -

Disapproved- a moral offence, and

Might be a copyright infringement.

I wonder what precise distinction-

between imitation, stylistic plagiarism,

copy, replica and forgery!

Latin plagiarius or kidnapper,

Means stealing works,

First pointed out by Roman poet Martial.

Plagiarism introduced into English in 1601 by

Ben Jonson.

Centuries back-

literature was publica materies,

a common property.

Anybody could borrow at will,

Copy the masters as closely as possible.

Sometimes a writer to invent –

their own plots

was reproached as presumptuous.

Shakespeare knew this too.

The more appreciation the more similarity,

avoid unnecessary invention.

Plagiarism in the 18th century,

the context of economic and political history-

introduction of capitalism.

Originality- that traditionally

deemed as impossible,

turned into an obligation-

by the ideology of individualism.

Plagiarism-

One that imitates; a plagiary; an imitator-

Without invention-

a painter is but a copier, and

a poet but a plagiary of others.

The crime of literary theft.

Plagiarism-

theft or stealing,

is not mentioned in any current statute,

either criminal or civil.

Could be treated as unfair competition or

a violation of the doctrine of moral rights.

The increased availability of intellectual property-

due to a rise in technology has furthered the debate as to

whether copyright offences are criminal.

Plagiarism

by students

can result in failing grade.

professors, or researchers is considered –

academic dishonesty or academic fraud, and-

offenders are subject to academic censure,

up to and including expulsion.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is actually plagiarism or even getting composition, viewpoint, and so forth through other people as well as allow it to be because its documents as well as viewpoint. Plagiarism can be viewed as the offense with regard to robbing the actual copyrights associated with other people. Within the training globe, plagiarism criminal could be seriously disciplined because expelled through college or college. Criminal is known as plagiarism plagiarist.

Within Philippines by itself many-plagiarist plagiarist who not really recognize which their plagiarism (although most are not really plagiarism, however they had been conquered through the reputation associated with plagiarism), each single performers, rings, tune author and much more. These people reasoned, and then impact the actual circulation or style associated with songs on it’s own, and contains be a tool to allow them to end up being groundless. So when 1 soloist or even team for that band’s achievement together with his plagiarist, then your other people appeared competing to follow along with the actual prosperous plagiarist. Last but not least, the greater dull songs Philippines.

Be aware: Right here ane won’t display a good example of the actual plagiarist-plagiarist, to be able to preserve their own great title. Probably the other should have recognized that as well as in which the rings tend to be clearly-class has turned into a plagiarist.

Lip-sync

Lip-sync lip-synch is really a specialized phrase with regard to coordinating top actions along with tone of voice. Inside a songs live concert or perhaps a reside transmit upon tv, top synchronize is actually questionable.

Within The far east their state, lifestyle ministry offers released an insurance policy concerning top synchronize within July ‘09. The actual Ministry released an insurance policy with regard to evaluating top synchronize performing, such as the open public lay. Along with a 30 days from this, 2 Chinese language performers, Starlets Yin Youcan as well as Fang Ziyuan-cuap bercuap discovered only if their own live concert within Sichuan Land. They’re inside a good associated with close to eighty 1000 yuan or even RRP. 110 zillion along with the very first target lifestyle ministry plan. The actual plan had been released simply because within 08, the actual Beijing Olympic arranging panel questionable motion. Setting up a woman that sang top synchronize throughout the Olympics starting wedding ceremony. The actual panel reasoned motion had been carried out since the vocalist wasn’t fairly sufficient to exhibit the world.

Within Philippines by itself, top synchronize in order to some thing sensible as well as their gamers additionally appeared comfortable just (that is essential within the spend associated with “them”). Numerous music occasions which make use of the “services” top synchronize, may it be transmit survive tv maunpun not really. And also the occasion successful siphon audiences as well as enhance the score occasion led to the actual mushrooming from the “lip synchronize show” in a number of personal tv channels within Philippines. Nevertheless, numerous songs live shows occasions that not really make use of the “services” top synchronize, for example: indiefest, soundrenalin, and much more.

The actual style tune from the Exact same

With this selection the actual name monitor, just about all performers, songs organizations, songwriter or even possess the exact same style. This particular causes it to be progressively dull songs within Philippines. Whenever a vocalist or even group includes a prosperous monitor using the style, state “cheating”, after that together vocalist or even music team which other people help to make towards the style tune (although not every, however mainly therefore). These people attempted their good fortune using the style tune, although along with moderate songs. And it is really, really unfortunate.

Making Personality

Possibly just within Philippines which have stars or stars just about all areas. Sitcom celebrity, vocalist, film participant, tune author, speaker, and thus u . s . in a single personality. These people phone this “actress or acting professional Rumble Can”. Is really, might be known as “very able”? Certainly not!. Simply because numerous good examples which display just about all that is humorous. Somebody that doesn’t have the supply, actually inside a globe associated with music expertise in effect in order to dive to the globe associated with songs, after that what goes on may be the funny-an. These people accustomed to increase the recognition keartisannya content label within the songs globe. Certainly it had been their own correct to do this, however when they begin to see the privileges associated with other people?!. Nevertheless, numerous additionally originated from falling the actual planet’s perfilm that ultimately emigrated towards the globe associated with songs as well as achievement.

In addition to the designers, most of the group attempting to achieve the actual songs globe. As well as when you have absolutely no expertise within songs, ultimately may kitchen sink combined with the beginning associated with numbers who’ve the actual expertise within the songs globe.

There is energy at hand Main Content label

Possibly this is actually the determinant of the individual or even number of individuals whether they flourish in the actual songs globe. As well as this can be a really apparent truth. Main labeling that handles seem documenting as well as product sales, such as the marketing as well as safety associated with copyright laws. They often possess a agreement along with music designers as well as their own supervisors. As well as appeared to possess you don’t need to clarify once again, the way the main labeling — main labeling which exist within Philippines, know exactly the same concept. Main Content label energy reach the actual creativeness or even improv from the music artists that within the agreement (possibly within Philippines on it’s own). As well as just about all the actual Main Labeling within Philippines like this!

However past the reality over, ane the same as expressing just a little critique without having intention in order to upset or even harass an individual, team as well as the nation by itself. It is with regard to improvements Songs Philippines. As well as for any individual, team or even other people, that really feel upset or even tercemarkan great title, ane apologize.

A short high school essay on how a modern-day sin should be punished in Dante's Inferno.

This Paper is a Sin

Nick Adler

To plagiarize is to present the work of others as one’s own. Though plagiarists deserve a special place in the Inferno, it is difficult to determine where. Plagiarism is most easily classified as victimless self-indulgence, making it a sin of incontinence. Even though Ciacco was a perfectly innocuous partier in life, he still “[languished] in the rain… for the damning sin of gluttony” (6.53-4). Similarly, a harmless cheater could be made to eternally languish in upper Hell.

On the other hand, plagiarism is nearly synonymous with the falsification of words, zone in the eighth circle (in the fraud section on the Inferno). There is a difference, though, between passing off someone else’s words as one’s own (plagiarism) and passing off one’s own words as someone else’s. For example, Potiphar’s wife, “the lying woman who blamed Joseph” for seducing her, made an accusation potentially serious enough to cost the accused their life (30.97). Stealing an anecdote about a technicolor dream-coat would seem a peccadillo by comparison. Therefore, cases of plagiarism should generally be categorized as sins of incontinence.

Plagiarism involves a person taking credit for any action or composition that is not their own, be it a paper, the design of a building, or a Secret Santa gift. Since most everybody contemplates doing it at some point, only the actual act is punishable. So, plagiarism is clearly a sin against orthopraxy.

The plagiarized usually come away unscathed, either because lack of proof prevents the plagiarist from being widely credited, or because the true creator wishes to remain anonymous. This transgression is mainly immoral in how it affects the cheater’s peers. If the plagiarist is not caught, they set unrealistic expectations for what others are capable of, making their peers seem worse by comparison. On the other hand, if they get, a dark shadow of suspicion is cast over the whole class.

I propose that Circle 3.5 be constructed for the plagiarists, who are gluttonous when it comes to laziness, avaricious for credit, and prodigal towards their own skills and intelligence. Following in the path of Dante’s taste-of-their-own-medicine counter-punishments, plagiarizers will be tormented by copy-cat demons who torture them into talking and then repeat everything they say.

Terza Rima

Those who plagiarized in life A

Suffer in their own small ring. B

Prodded with a giant knife, A

They are forced to sing B

By many demons sent to torment C

Who copy words, so annoying. B

But when the sinners attempt ferment, C

They just get stabbed again. D

They really hate this punishment, C

Stupid plagiarizing men. D

The article describes the importance of respecting other people's creations as well as protecting their own work.

To what degree should we, as creators of electronic and digital content, be able to appropriate other creator’s work? How does your own choice in copy right protection address this?

Writers and artists should respect other people’s work as they would wish them to treat their creation. Copyright laws were created to prevent work from being used for academic, professional, personal and monetary gain without acknowledgement or permission by the creator.1 Previous work should be acknowledged whenever it is used to demonstrate the user’s appreciation of and need to use it. Acknowledgement is particularly important as it prevents monetary loss and theft of the artist’s work. Artists can choose various copyright licenses depending on the extent they will allow the public to use their work. The Creative Commons organisation designed a specific set of rules and regulations for both the public and creators to adhere to.2

The information age provides writers with the opportunity to use the internet as a research tool for academic and personal purposes. The internet is a great invention as allows the user to find what he or she wants with the click of a mouse. While the internet appears to be wonderful there are problems which need to be ironed out to prevent confusion for both creators and users. There is a fine line between using online information and plagiarizing another person’s work. Cyberspace provides people with the chance to express themselves yet copyright laws are difficult to police as some cultures consider that what they read is gospel and they can use it for their own purposes without acknowledging the source. According to Anna Nimus copyright laws only came into being in the 18th century as people recognised the need to protect people’s literary and other works from harm.3

I am not particularly concerned about copyright laws at the moment as I am still establishing myself as a freelance writer. I do not think that anyone would consider my work to be worth stealing at this stage in my career which is why I have not thought about protecting my work from theft. If I had to choose a copyright option I think that I would allow people to use my work for research purposes only. I used to think that I would feel flattered if people chose to use my work without acknowledging me as I thought that it was a sign that they thought it was good enough to do so. As I have developed my skills and confidence as a writer I have changed my view on the above point. I would want people to at least acknowledge my efforts by citing my work in their text.

On my latest art piece “Alien X-Ray” I had to put a copyright notice. I hate having to do that, but to prevent thievery it is actually in my best interest to put the notice. Anyone who is familiar with past situations knows that early on some people stole my artwork. I figured that now with the copyright notice they are without excuse.

Since the plagiarists were seemingly foreign, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they were just unfamiliar with copyright laws. Not that that’s really an excuse, but hey I can forgive. I do plan on publishing more art on picable, but 1st I will wait and see if the notice is effective in preventing plagiarism.

I thank the honest who DON’T plagiarize my art and may anyone who has plagiarized my art learn a lesson for the future.

God Bless.

Sincerely,

What is plagiarism? How can you avoid adding your work under plagiarized works. What tools can you use to check the uniqueness of your article.

I barely understood what the word plagiarism meant when I started writing. So, I consulted wikipedia about this plagiarism thing that most writers been fussing about.

According to wikipedia this is what plagiarism is:
“Plagiarism, is defined in dictionaries as “the wrongful appropriation, close imitation, or purloining and publication, of another author’s language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions, and the representation of them as one’s own original work.”

My idea of plagiarism before was, when I paste my article/content in another site let’s say, Bukisa to Helium. That is considered plagiarism, but actually that is not so. Plagiarism is copying someones work and claiming you worked on it yourself. Like its a first-hand experience or research being relayed to readers on an article or written material but is not true. Plagiarism ain’t just the copying of word for word content of another author but also copying his unique and personal idea.

So, OK… you’re a writer and you use other author’s work as a source in where you will base your article topic and get facts. In my stand point there is nothing wrong re-using other peoples acquired knowledge which have been shared with fellow writers but copying an article word for word even just 20 phrases from that article or book is plagiarism.

How can you not plagiarize then? READ A LOT OF SOURCES. Using information from this type of source needs that you must, I MEAN MUST put the citation in “qoute”. If you’re source is the internet chances are that most of this article you will find are copies of articles written by fellow writers of the subject.

Did you know just how many same introduction’s of a certain topic I have seen online ever since I ventured on freelance writing? I lost track of just how many. It is because they all have but the same source. When writing I read a lot of magazines and books. Also research the internet. Although I can’t remember If I’m already copying what I have read from the book , cause most of them I read in the Library and Book clubs but I make sure I put a twist of my own personality on each sentences. But as much as possible I give credit to those who deserves the credit (that is when I remember from what source I got the information).

Also if you think you’re using really common words and you think like half a million writers already used the combination of words to form a sentence it is better to modify it. And check your work on some free site that can check your article if its plagiarism free. The chance of at least 15 words being identical with another writers article is just astonishing.

What are the free site you can use to check your article?

This are a few of my favorite sites.

You can pay a very stiff fine and be banned from various websites or publishing houses for stealing someone else’s work and claiming it as your own. You can get suited.

There has been a lot of chatter lately about work being plagiarized on some of the sites I share my work with. I’ve seen a few pieces very similar to mine but I really wouldn’t say I had been plagiarized. Instead I think what I wrote inspired someone else to write on the same subject. We all have our own thoughts, opinions, conclusions on most any given subject and that is good and it is good to share them but don’t plagiarize. Plagiarism is when you submit someone else’s work and claim it as your own. That is the equivalent of stealing. Thou shall not steal. Don’t do it.

There is nothing, however, that says you cannot write on the same subject matter and even include some of the same information but make it your own. Learn to use your own words. Don’t be a copycat.

It was just the other day I was reading a delightful short story about twin brothers, Johnny and Jimmy, in a fifth grade English class. Their homework was to write an essay about their pet or a pet they were familiar with if they didn’t own a pet. That evening Johnny and Jimmy sat down at the dining room table and did their homework. The next day they turned their essays in to their teacher. A couple days later the teacher took Jimmy aside and said she had enjoyed his essay very much but there was something that bothered her about it, it was almost identical to his brother’s essay and she questioned him about copying his brother’s work and passing it in as his own. She explained plagiarism to him.

Jimmy looked the teacher right in the eyes and said, “No Mrs. Graves, I didn’t copy my brother’s homework. It’s like this. We were writing about the same dog.”

Mrs. Graves smiled and said, “That is good Jimmy but next time you might want to use your own words.” Jimmy got the message and he also got a big fat F.

The author on this story as it was sent to me was Anonymous. I don’t know who wrote it but it was a delightful story and I enjoyed reading it. Yesterday when I was reading all the chatter on plagiarism on the internet that story came back to me. I’ve retold it in my own words as I remember it since I had already deleted the email from the person who sent it to me.

To lie and say something is yours when it is not, to copy someone else’s work will only bring you a lot of grief and sorrow in the end. It’s not worth it. If you want to be a writer, then write and write it yourself. You might surprise yourself and do a whole lot better job on the subject than the person you are copying. It is all right to use the same basic idea for a piece of writing but be sure that the text belongs to you. Use your words.

You can Google almost any subject you want and find hundreds, even thousands of articles on that subject and many of them will have the same basic information. To take an idea someone else has written on and run with it is not plagiarism so long as you write your article, essay, poem, story, whatever in your own words and if you do quote from an article you have read give credit to that author. If you are using someone else’s words be sure you cite it as by someone else and put it in quotation marks or state it is from such and such an article by whomever. If it is not your words don’t claim them. Don’t plagiarize.

Posting duplicate content, so long as you are the true author, is not plagiarism. It is a dumb thing to do and I have learned that from experience not to do that but you can’t actually plagiarize your own work. Here is what I had done; I had taken a prompt and written a nature essay. It was posted at Helium. Then I took the same article and re-wrote it with a few changes and re-arrangement of the paragraphs and made it what I thought was a better article, even including a little bit more information and posted it at Triond. Triond didn’t accept it. It was in their opinion duplicate material that had already been published. They were right. You can’t do that. I didn’t plagiarize anyone but had I done the same thing with someone else’s piece it would have been plagiarism. This is the difference between plagiarism and duplicate content. Neither one says anything very good about you as an author and plagiarism labels you as a cheat, a liar and a thief. Don’t go there.

When we use ideas, facts, and opinions that are not our own even when we do not use the author's exact towards. We must give appropriate credit to the author as we in corporate his or her ideas into our paper.

If we do not do so, we are committing plagiarism, one of the most serious offenses in academia. Virtually every school has an honor node that prohibits plagiarism. Consequences range from failing the assignment or class in which the plagiarism occurred to being expelled from our college.

Image via Wikipedia

Plagiarism sometimes results from simple carelessness. For example, overlooking instances in which us should credit the originator of an idea, quote, or phrase that’s not ours. More insidious and more tempting to some students, is downloading or purchasing material that we didn’t write and trying to pass it off as our own. Unscrupulous students sometimes paste whole chunks of material into a paper and deliberately fail to credit the sources. Or they submit an entire paper downloaded or purchased from one of the plethora or term paper mills on the Internet.

We caution you strongly not to plagiarize because you will probably get caught. Lecturers can easily recognize writing that does not read like that or their students. They are also increasingly using sophisticated software and websites that can detect plagiarism.

Plagiarism is taking credit for someone else’s work and research. You must acknowledge and document anything that you incorporate into your assignment that has been used before, even if it has been paraphrased.

Plagiarism is taking credit for someone else’s work and research. It is also considered plagiarism to reuse your own assignments. While it is acceptable to use information provided form sources such as journals, websites and books, it is important to give the author proper credit for their work. You must acknowledge and document anything that you incorporate into your assignment that has been used before, even if it has been paraphrased.

When using a direct quote in your assignment, it is important to use quotation marks. This differs when paraphrasing because you are not using exact words. Even though you are putting the quote into your own words, it is still important to give the author accurate credit for the work you are borrowing. It is also important to remember that when using a direct quote or paraphrasing a statement, you must cite the reference both in text and within the bibliography.

Common knowledge does not require a source citation because this is information that is known by most people. It is information that is easily accessible when being studied. However, if someone is using a specific source of common knowledge it must be cited. For example, most of us know that obesity is based on the measurement of a persons Body mass index (BMI). Nevertheless, if I were to get more in depth and say; “Obesity is defined as a BMI at or above the 95th percentile for children of the same age and sex (Barlow SE and the Expert Committee, 2007).” It would have to be cited.
