Roman Polanski is to collect an award from the Zurich Film Festival in 2009 for him when he was arrested on the way to the ceremony on charges relating to a sexual offense with more than 30 years, organizers said Thursday.

On Sept. 26, the renowned film director Roman Polanski, was in Sweden to accept an award for his accomplishments in filmmaking, was arrested by the Swiss police at the insistence of Los Angeles, California law enforcement.
