There's a lot of negative information that comes at us on a daily basis, and if we're not careful it can consume us and make us focus too much on what can go wrong, and if we believe in the potential for something to go wrong, then it usually will. On the other hand we can also focus our thoughts on the positive aspects of life, and from that the sky is the limit to what we can gain or achieve.

For those in the computer industry the old “garbage in garbage out” saying was attributed the fact that whatever you put into a computer is exactly what you’ll get out, but lately I’ve been thinking that it’s more apt for what we as human beings can identify with. This can easily be applied to food, with the idea that unhealthy processed food will inevitably reap poor health, but what I’m thinking about right now is how it can describe what we think, and what happens as a result from our thoughts.

Not so long ago I upgraded my cable TV subscription to Dish TV so I could get more news channels and informative TV stations like Discovery and TLC, and at first I was happier than I could ever imagine with all the choices of both local and national news coming at me 24/7. With all this extra news coverage I felt like I was able to be more informed, but instead I started to notice that the majority of the news I was watching was focusing more onto sensational news that leaned heavily toward the negative side of the human experience. Sure there’s crime, political corruption, and horrible accidents in the world around us, but do we really need to constantly fill our heads with all this negative information in order to live day by day trying to get the most out of life? Not hardly.

How often have you started your day off feeling good, only to watch the day get better, or on the flip-side, started your day with something negative only to watch it go downhill from there? It’s a known fact that whatever you think, you will make happen, and so if you spend a lot of time taking in information that’s disturbing, chances are you’ll start to feel disturbed and inevitably a bit paranoid to the possibilities of all the negative “what ifs”.

Just as you can take in the negative and let it fill your head with negative ideas and ultimately negative results, so can you also fill your head with positive possibilities that can have a very rewarding effect. Visualize only good things, and you’ll be amazed at all the good things that will come your way. Stop thinking about what you don’t have, and instead start to think about all your blessings, and before you know it, your blessings will start to increase tenfold. This concept is based on the natural law of attraction, and it’s practiced daily by people who have used it to gain anything and everything they’ve ever wished for.

Starting this very minute, release all the negative ideas and thoughts that have been plaguing your life, and instead focus only on positive ideas, goals, and dreams, and before you know it you’ll start to see those positive thoughts draw in everything you’ve ever wanted or wished for. Believe something is possible, visualize it happening, and then pretend like it’s already on its way, and within a matter of time it’ll happen. Try it, you’ll see for yourself.

Its the journey about making a Winter Blanket which I borrowed from the Web.
Hope everybody has boarded the train and have bought their tickets for providing attention.
Warning: The journey is long and misadventurous, but familiar.
Hope you enjoy it till the end.

Last year, I was surfing the web, to make a Blanket and i came across a blog with brilliant presentation, clear eye-to-eye tutorials, and beautiful vibrant colors were just a added bonus. And most importantly it rubbed the wrong side of my desire wanting the same.

Without Guilt, and not bothering about the Plagiarism or copyright issues, I went ahead placing an order for the yarn from the link provided by the same blog. The yarn arrived and I couldn’t wait to start …The colors were tempting and inviting, thanks to my mother who had taught me how to use the Crochet hook, and with a great desire to achieve the same, I embarked on this journey to fulfill my dark ambitious pursuit, I sat on my chair to pen down the details of this unknown design, With hitches and glitches, with more Huff’s and few Oops, finally I cracked the design and made my way into transforming nothing into a little something and started pouring life into the yarn.

With days passing by, I was more excited,With chain by chain, step by step, it continued to grow, minute by minute, day by day and it soon became a part of my life,

I forgot to eat, it affected my sleep, sometimes, it kept me away from the things which I otherwise would do, it became an addiction. To hook!

Now surprise,Everyone would agree with me when i write that a person’s thinking usually shapes his personality.

To read further Pls Click on Next Page,Thanks.

While this blanket was taking a shape, I saw my happiness getting reduced, I started feeling guilty in taking pride to own something that dint belong to me. To borrow someones work was not me.

With time and with a difference to my otherwise straight approach, the journey soon saw some hurdles. It made me restless; day after day, the speed came down. I became impatient and I wanted this blanket to get over soon, so that I could free myself from this unpleasant tiresome journey.

Still,i continued the travel on this blanket,as giving up something was again not I.But now with a guilt.Positive thinking can build creativity, and the opposite can collapse it. My journey with guilt couldn’t proceed long, as the time went by, I developed a love-hate relationship with this blanket, and one day when positive thinking overtook the dark shade of my desire, I felt threatened and I stopped working on this blanket. Those beautiful colours disappeared and they lost charm in my eyes.

They reduced to only bundles of pale yarn.

For days,i ignored them, for monthsi dint see them, they sat quietly in the closet wrapped tightly in a plastic, no complains, no noise, accidentally I would come across them, they would stare at me, I felt more guilty at their silence. To weave love into the yarn was the most difficult thing, not hooking.

Another Surprise:One day, suddenly something came flying into my head, I thought to myself,

“One can copy someone’s idea, but not the Interest”. Even copying involves one to apply his mind, apply his head working,It required my time, it involved my attention, to think, to see the exact product of someone Else’s creation. Not to offend Creativity,it involves seeing the result of one’s imagination even before someone has actually started to design it or create it.

And a more compromised definition meant which appeared to me then was-If someone offers a readymade picture of their imagination, then its half job done.Idea can be copied, but not the interest and certainly not the product.

I beg your apologies, here, I was not just hitting the lifeless keys on the keyboard pasting some one’s exact lines into my article. and I’m not even advocating or favouring anybody to copy, Mind you!

I just accepted something which convinced me, and I pulled out the yarn from the suffocating plastic, and now I was at a serious task, a task of wanting to see the blanket grow again, while I resumed back to my work, something stroke my rhythm, it was the involvement which I started to have with this blanket, Now it became a sweet addiction, it was no more some body’s idea to me, it required dedication, it needed me to take time to pay attention towards all the minute details which resulted in a look-alike product of someone Else’s creation, I’m not defending, but it required patience, and moreover it asked for my interest. This hook set me into the moment, it was as if, it was playing with my hands, yarn after yarn; row after row; color after color, it helped me get over my guilt and a kind of harmony set in.I learnt to make Peace with my Guilt.

And what a journey it was, from a beautiful mess to a Cozy Bliss!

Moral of my journey -The only way is to get over Guilt is to Proceed. And here it is, Take a look.

                                            http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/neat-ripple-pattern.html

Every one of us has a dream to achieve something, but, most of the time that we have failed to do so. If we can analyze, we can find that, not enough attraction from us to the dream. Law of Attraction is the power of magic that will help your dream become a reality.

We all are using Law of Attraction in some way or the other, where we are aware of it or not. If we want exploit all the hidden possibilities and magical powers of Law of Attraction, then we need to be observant and attract with faith, only what we want. I like to call it, being Power Attractor. Focus the Ends, forget the Means, the more focused we are towards the Ends (what we want) the faster Means (how to get what we want) will follow. The most important thing we need to understand the of manifestation, of what we want may not the way we think them to be, but it’s surely guaranteed that things will manifest, all we need to do is, to be observant enough to recognize and to be thankful for the manifestation.

The Law of Attraction states: I attract to myself, whatever I give my focus, attention or energy to; whether wanted or unwanted. If you think about being broke, poor, lonely and believe your thoughts guess what? That is exactly what you’ll be. This Law applies to your life and every other person’s life on the planet. Like all laws, it is impartial and impersonal, which means it works when you want it to and when you do not want it to.

Everything comes to us through the most elemental law of physics – Like Attracts Like! Like Attracts Like is nothing more than the Law of Attraction. It is absolute and has nothing to do with your personality, your religious belief, being a “good” or a “bad” person or anything else. No one lives beyond this law. It is an unquestionable law of the universe.

James Allen has quoted in his book “As a Man Thinketh”, “Circumstance does not make the man: it reveals him to himself.

So, imagine starting to believe in yourself and your infinite possibilities. Imagine believing you deserve everything you want out of life. Imagine getting everything you want out of life.

Once you apply Law of Attraction everything is possible.

Try It and Good Luck!

When you create thoughts in your mind and you constantly think about it, you can either develop desire or fear of that certain thoughts you have. Desire can help realize your positive thoughts and dreams in as much as fear can also realize your negative thoughts and things you are anxious about. It all depends on how you react with these thoughts and act upon it.

Everything Starts with a Thought

Everything in this world starts with a thought. A simple pen in your hand starts with a thought from someone who manufactured it; every single detail of that pen such as design, structure, colors and so on. Every building you see around starts with a blueprint of its lay-out and foundation; and it first started as a dream to construct a building.

Positive thoughts combined with desires and action will ultimately bring you to where you want to be. In the same manner, your negative thoughts combined with fear and anxiousness will ultimately realize your negative thoughts. Your negative thoughts and fears can be strong enough to attract negative energies flowing towards you and gradually form to realize your negative thoughts.

Have you ever experienced at one point in your life as a student when your teacher asked a question, you did not know the answer, and she was looking for someone to answer it? How did you feel then? You became very anxious to be called for not studying your lesson; and you developed fear of being called and get embarrassed for not knowing the answer. Your negative thoughts became dominant, and your feelings of fear and anxiousness reinforced your negative thoughts to realize what you feared of what is going to happen which was to be called; and eventually you were called.

The Dominant Thought

In every person, there is always a dominant thought. It could either be a positive thought or a negative thought. Most often, rich people have a positive dominant thought. Have you ever seen a millionaire who is very pessimistic in life? If ever they were, they would surely overcome their negative thoughts and changed them into a positive one as they go along because they are surrounded with abundance in life and they filled their thoughts with abundance. Even if they go bankrupt, they can easily bounce back with their positive thoughts in mind. But those who are not able to bounce back were people who succumb to their negative thoughts.

Negative thoughts are so powerful; strong enough to ruin your life and greatly affect your quality of life. It can paralyze you into not doing anything about your dreams in life and you end up in failures and disappointments. You then give in to depression and your negative thoughts will drag you further down the drain. Hence, it is very important to do something about your dominant negative thoughts and change them into a positive one. You need to learn to positively redirect your thoughts and you will gradually see some changes in your life for the best.

Life Mapping: A Vision of Success.

Success is more than economic gains, titles, and degrees. Planning for success is about mapping out all the aspects of your life. Similar to a map, you need to define the following details: origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route.

Origin: Who you are

A map has a starting point. Your origin is who you are right now. Most people when asked to introduce themselves would say, “Hi, I’m Jean and I am a 17-year old, senior highschool student.” It does not tell you about who Jean is; it only tells you her present preoccupation. To gain insights about yourself, you need to look closely at your beliefs, values, and principles aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Moreover, you can also reflect on your experiences to give you insights on your good and not-so-good traits, skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses. Upon introspection, Jean realized that she was highly motivated, generous, service-oriented, but impatient. Her inclination was in the biological-medical field. Furthermore, she believed that life must serve a purpose, and that wars were destructive to human dignity.

Destination: A vision of who you want to be

“Who do want to be?” this is your vision. Now it is important that you know yourself so that you would have a clearer idea of who you want to be; and the things you want to change whether they are attitudes, habits, or points of view. If you hardly know yourself, then your vision and targets for the future would also be unclear. Your destination should cover all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Continuing Jean’s story, after she defined her beliefs, values, and principles in life, she decided that she wanted to have a life dedicated in serving her fellowmen.

Vehicle: Your Mission

A vehicle is the means by which you can reach your destination. It can be analogized to your mission or vocation in life. To a great extent, your mission would depend on what you know about yourself. Bases on Jean’s self-assessment, she decided that she was suited to become a doctor, and that she wanted to become one. Her chosen vocation was a medical doctor. Describing her vision-mission fully: it was to live a life dedicated to serving her fellowmen as a doctor in conflict-areas.

Travel Bag: Your knowledge, skills, and attitude

Food, drinks, medicines, and other travelling necessities are contained in a bag. Applying this concept to your life map, you also bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These determine your competence and help you in attaining your vision. Given such, there is a need for you to assess what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present and what you need to gain along the way. This two-fold assessment will give you insights on your landmarks or measures of success. Jean realized that she needed to gain professional knowledge and skills on medicine so that she could become a doctor. She knew that she was a bit impatient with people so she realized that this was something she wanted to change.

Landmarks and Route: S.M.A.R.T. objectives

Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the travel time. Thus, in planning out your life, you also need to have landmarks and a route. These landmarks are your measures of success. These measures must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound. Thus you cannot set two major landmarks such as earning a master’s degree and a doctorate degree within a period of three years, since the minimum number of years to complete a master’s degree is two years. Going back to Jean as an example, she identified the following landmarks in her life map: completing a bachelor’s degree in biology by the age of 21; completing medicine by the age of 27; earning her specialization in infectious diseases by the age of 30; getting deployed in local public hospitals of their town by the age of 32; and serving as doctor in war-torn areas by the age of 35.

Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes

The purpose of your life map is to minimize hasty and spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make you lose your way. But oftentimes our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes thus; we must anticipate them and adjust accordingly.

The anti-conscience is your primitive conscience, which didn’t evolve like your human side. When this primitive content invades your human conscience, you can clearly listen to your anti-conscience’s thoughts.

However, you don’t know that these thoughts come from your anti-conscience because you hear them with your own voice, as if they belonged to your conscience. You believe that these thoughts are ‘yours’. They are not. You are the human being concentrated into your tiny human conscience. The huge primitive conscience you have inherited is your animal conscience, which you ignore. Your anti-conscience has satanic characteristics because it is a cruel animal.

You are a human being who loves goodness and who pursues happiness in life. The negative thoughts that come from your anti-conscience don’t belong to your human side. You must fight these thoughts instead of following them.

You will be helped with this task by translating the meaning of your dreams according to the method of dream interpretation discovered by Carl Jung. Now that I continued his research, discovering the anti-conscience that he couldn’t see with the knowledge he had, and discovering the sanctity of the unconscious mind that produces our dreams (which Jung couldn’t perceive), dream translation became a simple matter.

Today you can easily learn the dream language and eliminate your dangerous anti-conscience (which generates negative thoughts and mental illnesses within your human conscience) by following the guidance of the unconscious mind in your dreams. You’ll definitively get rid of the negative content you have inherited in your brain, and learn how to develop positive thinking.

I will help you distinguish the anti-conscience’s thoughts with a brief description.

Your human conscience is invaded by your anti-conscience whenever you have:

* Absurd thoughts about doing something bad that is the opposite of what you usually do

* Immoral thoughts

* Thoughts of revenge

* Selfish thoughts

* Idiotic thoughts

* Negative thoughts that generate fears

* Thoughts about doubts and more doubts without end

Everything that is negative in your mind and behavior comes from your wild conscience. The anti-conscience keeps invading your conscience and trying to destroy your capacity to think logically.

You will eliminate the absurdity of your anti-conscience by acquiring consciousness through dream translation. The unconscious mind will teach you the real meaning of goodness and wisdom.

Today you can have a clear vision of the content of your mind thanks to the clear translation of the meaning of dreams. Therefore, you can understand what is happening to you when you have strange thoughts and you lose equilibrium. The unconscious mind gives you clear directions in dreams.

When you’ll eliminate your evil and absurd anti-conscience, you will always be self-confident and happy. You will completely develop you intelligence, and use all your capacities. Therefore, positive thinking will be part of your personality and help you successfully attain all your goals.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Young? Old? Ask yourself these questions. You may be surprised...

Image by Clarkston SCAMP via Flickr

Let’s admit it, youth is not age but a state of mind. You can be 90 and have the energy and the joie de vivre of a teenager. Or you can be 15 and lead a flat, tasteless life of somebody who is just waiting to die.

These five questions will help you realize your age, the age of your spirit, your real age.

Do you like to learn? Babies come to the world knowing nothing. They have to learn everything. And it is such a joy to them to discover a sound, a color, a taste. It is so encouraging to see them play with a tree or an empty plastic bottle or with a door. Somebody said that passionate people are those who live their lives with the same interest as babies discover their world. So if you like to read, to discover new places or dishes or music, you are still young, no matter your biological age.

Do you like to move? Movement is the law of life. What does not move is dead. Cats move. And so do trees even if we don’t realize it because we are inattentive. Only stones stay where they are. And the dead, of course. Move, then. Run. Walk. Dance. Jump. Travel. And you will push the death away.

Aren’t you afraid of changes? Changes are another rule of life. We grow thinner or fatter, taller, balder. Our hair turns gray and our skin wrinkle. But it doesn’t matter. It is not really getting older. Trying to stop time, trying to have artificially blonde or black hair, to avoid wrinkles, to look younger at any cost: These are sure signs your soul is getting old.

Do you feel you own the truth? Not only your body changes. Also your mind. And your ideas. Time shows you that you were wrong about some ideas and situations. It does not matter. You have the right to be wrong. You have the right to correct the drawing of the world in your mind. But for doing that you have to listen carefully what others have to say. And to evaluate continuously your own beliefs. And to let them go when you find out they are useless. If these behaviors describe you, be happy. You are young. Only old trees don’t swing with the wind.

Are you strong enough to fight? Not against others but against injustice. If poverty makes you angry; if you don’t support abuses; if you feel the hate of the powerful against the weak as your own pain; if you love justice for the sake of justice and love for the sake of love. If greed and proud and sloth makes you furious; if you are ready to fight against wall street sharks and third world gorillas and drug lords and democratically disguised tyrannies, congratulations your soul is young and beautiful, even though your hands shake and your sight is short. You are young even if you have lived and loved a whole century.

Creative thinking.

How many times have you caught yourself saying that there could be no other solution to a problem – and that that problem leads to a dead end? How many times have you felt stumped knowing that the problem laying before you is one you cannot solve. No leads. No options. No solutions.

Did it feel like you had exhausted all possible options and yet are still before the mountain – large, unconquerable, and impregnable? When encountering such enormous problems, you may feel like you’re hammering against a steel mountain. The pressure of having to solve such a problem may be overwhelming.

But rejoice! There might be some hope yet!

With some creative problem-solving techniques you may be able to look at your problem in a different light. And that light might just be the end of the tunnel that leads to possible solutions.

First of all, in the light of creative problem-solving, you must be open-minded to the fact that there may be more than just one solution to the problem. And, you must be open to the fact that there may be solutions to problems you thought were unsolvable.

Now, with this optimistic mindset, we can try to be a little bit more creative in solving our problems.

Number one; maybe the reason we cannot solve our problems is that we have not really taken a hard look at what the problem is. Here, trying to understanding the problem and having a concrete understanding of its workings is integral solving the problem. If you know how it works, what the problem is, then you have a better foundation towards solving the problem.

Not trying to make the simple statement of what problem is. Try to identify the participating entities and what their relationships with one another are. Take note of the things you stand to gain any stand to lose from the current problem. Now you have a simple statement of what the problem is.

Number two; try to take note of all of the constraints and assumptions you have the words of problem. Sometimes it is these assumptions that obstruct our view of possible solutions. You have to identify which assumptions are valid, in which assumptions need to be addressed.

Number three; try to solve the problem by parts. Solve it going from general view towards the more detailed parts of the problem. This is called the top-down approach. Write down the question, and then come up with a one-sentence solution to that from them. The solution should be a general statement of what will solve the problem. From here you can develop the solution further, and increase its complexity little by little.

Number four; although it helps to have critical thinking aboard as you solve a problem, you must also keep a creative, analytical voice at the back of your head. When someone comes up with a prospective solution, tried to think how you could make that solution work. Try to be creative. At the same time, look for chinks in the armor of that solution.

Number five; it pays to remember that there may be more than just one solution being developed at one time. Try to keep track of all the solutions and their developments. Remember, there may be more than just one solution to the problem.

Number six; remember that old adage,” two heads are better than one.” That one is truer than it sounds. Always be open to new ideas. You can only benefit from listening to all the ideas each person has. This is especially true when the person you’re talking to has had experience solving problems similar to yours.

You don’t have to be a gung-ho, solo hero to solve the problem. If you can organize collective thought on the subject, it would be much better.

Number seven; be patient. As long as you persevere, there is always a chance that a solution will present itself. Remember that no one was able to create an invention the first time around.

Creative thinking exercises can also help you in your quest be a more creative problems solver.

Here is one example.

Take a piece of paper and write any word that comes to mind at the center. Now look at that word then write the first two words that come to your mind. This can go on until you can build a tree of related words. This helps you build analogical skills, and fortify your creative processes.

So, next time you see a problem you think you can not solve, think again. The solution might just be staring you right in the face. All it takes is just a little creative thinking, some planning, and a whole lot of work.

Control mind and be happy.

Emotions are natural in human beings. When our needs or requirements are fulfilled we will be happy. But when our needs are not fulfilled we are suppressed. Similarly when we face loss, criticism or when justice is not given to us we become anxioius, we are feared. Few are hypersensitive and they become emotional which affects the body as well as the mind. The main causes for these are stress, anxiety, fear, sorrow, anger etc.,

Emotions are excessive with the persons who are away from the parents or family or friends, who live alone, who brought up luxuriously and if they have to face difficulties, who face defeats, losses often and are not given justices, teenagers etc.,

Emotions hurt the mind. The mind will not be under one’s control. To avoid these emotions,

1. we have to live as per our capacity and facilities we have. We should limit our desires. We have to put a brake to the endless ambitions.

2. Negative thinking weakens the mind. So think always positively.

3. Build up self confidence. Do not have inferiority feeling.

4. Develop one or the other hobby like reading, writing, gardening, little social service or moving with the friends.

5. Should not live alone. Be with the relatives, going for the functions, meeting people, make good friendship, good movies will also help in this matter, listen to music is one of the best thing to be away from the lonelyness.

Emotions interfere with our work. They prevent us from taking rational decisions, and should never be permitted to encroach upon our professional lives, love, sadness, anger and fear are the predominant basic emotions. The rest are derived from these.

The most thing is how we emotioally healthy means we must know what we are. One must examine the thoughts and feelings.

Leave all these bad emotions and think positive and live happily life.
