According to Klein, Mr. and Mrs. Obama’s marriage was shaky after the Chicago House of Representatives election. President Obama back then did not win the elections though he was forewarned by his wife Michelle. The aftermath of the election was a strain on the marriage of the Obamas. The strain was significant enough to cause a split between the two according to Klein.

From the reporting view the story may or may not be true as Eric Schultz, a rep for President Obama debunked Ed Klein’s story. He said Ed’s story was only a history of false fabrication in order to sell books, adding nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in it.

From my own assessments, Obama’s ‘divorce story’ is getting lots of attention especially over the internet.

Past history has recorded several of such incidences of troubles in marriage, near divorces and so on hitting the White House thus putting doubts in the minds of several as to whether the couple have not seen any form of marital problems in their 20 years of union.

Certainly there will be some ups and downs but Barack and Michelle in all public appearances together seem more in love than the previous day.

Questions such as whether their ‘near split’ in 2000 has made them stronger now can be raise but who knows if the couple have been so close the same since their marriage.

The fact that remains is that Edward Klein the discloser of the story will sell so much of his novel entitled The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House which will be available in bookstores from Tuesday.

Till the truth is known, the outsider sees a Barack and Michelle marriage without problems but to others the big question and challenge is do you know what goes on behind closed doors? What does Edward Klein see?

The job market was able to add 115,000 jobs in April due to the contributions of the private sector, but federal, local and state government jobs were worst hit. Around 15,000 employees were laid off during the last month from the public sector.

As per the statistics available with the US Labor department, around 29 states were able to add jobs in April, compared to 42 states during the month of February. The highest unemployment rate is seen in Nevada and it is 12% and astonishingly, the third highest rate is in California and it is 11%. On the other hand, the lowest unemployment rate is in North Dakota and the figure is 3%.

But there was a job boom during the winter months when around 25,000 jobs were added each month between the months of December and February. Economists are saying that the economy has to enter a cycle where there will be more hiring which will lead to more consumer spending and if there is increase in consumer spending, a demand will be generated in the economy, which will lead to further hiring.

But Federal Reserve officials say that if this continues, they will be able to bring down the United States unemployment rate to 7.8 – 8% by the Election Day. President Obama said that the signs of economic recovery are happening, but at a slow rate. Whatever may be the political war of words, everybody wants the US economy to bounce back to the pre-recession stage as the US economy has a long term impact on many nations of the world.

The U.S. military says Osama bin Laden’s frustration with the jihad.

Bin Laden desire was revealed in a letter that found U.S. Army Special Forces at his home in Pakistan, shortly after it killed al Qaeda leader, who announced the U.S. military academy’s research agency, on Thursday (3/5).

In the letter raised the possibilityof Bin Laden’s al Qaeda attacked the plane of President Barack Obama during his visit to Afghanistan.

According to bin Laden, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will not be ready to replace Obama as president.

Of this letter bin Laden is one of the 17 documents that can be accessed by the public, a year after Bin Laden was killed at the hands of U.S. Army Special Forces.

These documents consist of letters and electronic communications as thick as 175 pages, dated late 2006 until Aprilof last year, shortly before the killed Osama bin Laden.

Frustration

U.S. special forces find no less than 6,000 documents in the house bin Laden in Abottabad, Pakistan.

Researchers at the U.S. military academy said the documents showed that Osama bin Laden was frustrated by regional jihadist groups.

He admitted that he could not control the actions of these jihadi groups.

But in the midst of this movement bin Laden warned al-Qaeda supporters to continue to attack the U.S., among others,to shoot the plane of President Obama.

How did that happen? All she did was bend over in a very tight dress on worldwide TV when her sister got married. But yes, that was enough. A collective gasp was heard from a billion male throats when they spotted the shape, got tantalised by the talent. The rest was down to Paparazzi and picture editors round the world.

It seemed like there just couldn’t be enough pictures and gossip items about the mysterious Pippa. What did she think, what does she say? Oh, and by the way, let’s see that Hot Ass one more time!

Now comes the clever bit. She doesn’t speak in public, nobody knows what she is thinking. She is a modern Mona Lisa with that mysterious, knowing half smile. That’s the way Time described her.

According to Time she’s named because women want to be like her and dress like her. The magazine claims that to get on the list you have to be inspiring, entertaining, challenging and ready to change the world. Others on the list include Rihanna, Christine Lagarde, head of the IMF, President Obama and film tycoon Harvey Weinstein.

Pippa can claim those first three of those qualities. Entertaining? Very! Challenging? Yes – she’s still single! Inspiring? She’s launched a billion diets. But ready to change the world? Not really.

Did men enjoy watching a Hot Ass before Pippa? Did women wish they had a slim, stylish ass before Pippa? Hmmm . . . those are tough!

US Supreme Court Justices appeared during their March 26 to 28, 2012 deliberations divided both on the constitutionality of President Health Care Law’s expansion of the Medicaid program, and on what would become of the rest of the law if the court strikes down its central provision or what is termed the individual mandate which requires Americans to purchase insurance or pay penalties. Initial arguments centered on the assumption the mandate would be taken out. Some justices were in favor of scrapping the whole law, feeling that, in the first place, Congress would not have voted the law into being without the mandate. But other justices felt they should take a more minimalist approach. As Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg put it, their decision was between “a wrecking operation” and “a salvage job.” She added, “The more conservative approach would be salvage rather than throwing out everything.” Justice Sonia Sotomayor, for one, felt that undertaking such a wholesale wrecking operation would be asserting their judicial powers too broadly.

Justice Anthony M. Kennedy said that the federal government’s imposition of such an “affirmative duty” to buy a particular product was “unprecedented.” As he told President Obama’s solicitor general, Donald Verrilli Jr., “You have a heavy burden” to prove that Congress is granted such power by the Constitution. Justice Kennedy also opined that if they took out the law’s central provision, leaving the rest intact, then that would really be asserting their judicial powers too broadly, as the rest of the law would still impose obligations on insurance companies. In Justice Antonin Scalia’s opinion, allowing the imposition of such a mandate has no basis. He asked if there are any limits to Congress’s power, if they can force purchases on the public.

The government’s stand is that purchasing healthcare should be mandatory, because everyone will probably need it at one time or another. But Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. is unconvinced. Stating that the Constitution limits federal powers, he said these limits would cease to exist if the government could now require citizens to purchase certain products. Roberts added that although it was true that motorists could need emergency services anytime, they could not be required to buy cell phones.

But some of the more liberal justices seemed to be sympathetic to the government’s stand. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg felt that such a mandate is necessary to ensure that the cost of healthcare is shared by everyone. She said that those who choose not to purchase insurance will force others to pay the cost.

The creators of “Obamacare” added the insurance requirement, because years of experience in insurance markets proved the extreme difficulty of guaranteeing everyone health insurance, if there was no incentive for younger and healthier people to acquire coverage. If they did acquire this, it would then reduce the cost of insuring the older and less healthy individuals. Without such an incentive, the young and healthy might wait until their health suffered a serious blow before buying insurance, thus sending premiums up for everybody.

Also, Mr. Nugent has said that they need to go into the battlefield and chop off all of their heads, in reference to the November primary elections. 

Secret Service agents had met with Ted Nugent privately and now the issue has been totally resolved.  One politician has said that his comments were taken out of proportion and that he did not intend on any malice.

What are your personal thoughts into this matter?  I really like Ted Nugent’s music, but at the same time I was somewhat taken aback by his comments.  I am glad that the mess has been sorted out and that he is free to play in his upcoming music tours.

The scandal came to roll, as one of the bodyguards did not pay a prostitute.

President Obama would probably prefer not ruled on the issue. But at the closing press conference on the Summit of the Americas, he could not dodge the questions journalists: “If it turns out that the allegations that were raised in the press confirm, then I am angry,” Obama said. He announced a “thorough and rigorous” education.

I have watched as countless Americans sit back and voice their outrage over the Nations economic recession, or dire need for healthcare reform but I have yet to find anyone who had the courage to try and make a change.  Our parents sat back while their youth passed away, and in their old age they sit there frustrated, bitter and scorn towards the government for taking our Nation the route that it did.  Mahatma Gandhi may be one of the most influential men to ever impact a nation like he had done in India.  Through non-violence, Gandhi was able to liberate an entire nation from the oppressive rule of Great Britain.  Egypt had just undergone one of the greatest and most elaborate overthrows the world has ever seen, a revolution that all started from a program as simple as Facebook.  These precedents placed before us prove that it is possible to achieve reformation and change through the most unlikely of avenues.  All it takes is the ambition and willingness to usher it in!

When I am old and my children are thinking about having children of their own, I do not want to sit back and voice idle remarks about how things need to change when I have done nothing to change it!  I would rather go down with lessons learned from trying then to ponder on what ifs of not trying at all.  Gandhi said it correct, we must be the change we wish to see in the world.  We cannot rely on other people to take action when we clearly see a need for action to be taken.  Imagine what would have happened if Gandhi had never acted upon the need of a voice and leader to rebel against Britain, there is no guarantee that India would have turned out the way it has today.  I refuse to be a senior citizen that sits and complains of social security, and the poor economic situation that my generation has left my children and grandchildren in.  

With college tuition spiking at seemingly an all time high, and the job market and economic stimulus at an all time low, we are left with a recipe for calamity.  We as Americans not only face grave danger but as an entire Generation we are confronted with a serious threat!  For the continuity of our legacy and lively hood hangs somewhere between the plausible realities of both a great depression and a bright vibrant future full of potential!  A pendulum that reserves the right at any given moment to sway in either direction.  Is the legacy we wish to leave for our children and grandchildren one of depression, poverty and hunger?  Because I refuse to leave a legacy of such turmoil for my descendants, therefore arising the need for reform, a deviation from our current system of running things.

Our law makers, politicians and Americans are foolish if they believe that change is able to come about by merely doing nothing.  It is the same perpetual cycle with no deviation from routine.  Every four years we watch Presidential hopefuls travel and tour the country promising change and reformation, while they are mere demagogues seeking only to further their own career.  They are charismatic leaders who manipulate the emotions of their people to gain power.  And when they have gained enough influence and public approval they take office, but unlike their campaign which took them all over the country their term in office is shrouded with cloaks and daggers which seem to create the illusion of an Immortal President.  A President that is no longer in touch and on the same playing field as every other American.  Being President is a job that by no stretch of the imagination could I understand the pressure and responsibility involved.  But the quandary does not lay blame with the President as much as it does the system in which he dwells in.  Because if the President of the United States is our hand picked leader, chosen not only to defend our freedoms but represent us when we are unable to do so ourselves, then who will listen and care for us when he is too busy to do just that?  Who will voice the concerns and cares of the people to congress and senate when the President is unable to do if for us?

What many people fail to realize is that the true strength and power of the United States Government is not the Air Force, nor the Army but its citizens.  What is the responsibility and role of a power or leader with no one to govern or lead?  Our founding fathers have left us with a democracy, not a monarch nor dictatorship.  But what our democracy has come to in this current time is a mere shell of its true nature.  I believe that in order to ever expect anything to change we must first understand it is our right to have a say in government and our future!  Not a mere show of a mandatory satisfaction of the law, or as many call it a presidential election.  Because we must be involved in the progression and evolution of our Nation everyday of every year, not 6 months every 4 years.  And we must participate in our own reformation process not 1 day in November every four years but everyday!  We must WRITE for our Voice; it is our God given Write to Reform!  And may every word written or spoken move not only mountains but statues and monuments for the cause of expansion, progression and change for a brighter tomorrow!

If you had a private audience with the President of the United States what would you talk about or discuss with Him?

I am extremely curious as to what Americans and others around the world would have to say or want to discuss.  I am sure questions like the following will arise.

1. Do Aliens exist?
2. Do you know any top secrets or covert spy stuff?
3. How really killed President Kennedy?
4. What really happened in the Cold War?
5. Would you rather have toilet paper facing toward you or away from you?

All great questions, and ones that I must admit have caused me to rack my brain searching for plausible answers.  Or will we find that the people are not as airy as myself or as I may think, and would have legitimate concerns and issues to discuss with Him?  For example the following may be great questions.

1. Why are we still at war?
2. What is your plan for healthcare?
3. Are you planning on running for office for a second term?
4. How do you plan to deal with the rising tension in the middle east?
5. Do you have a plan to stimulate Americas economy and create more jobs?
6. What is your plan to reform the education system and restore Americas educations system to its former glory?

These are just a few of the many questions I have asked myself.  And if I have asked these questions to myself then I am positive that I am not the only one!  I am interested to hear of any other questions that you may have or have thought of, and what solutions you may have thought of for your question.

Another day, another chance to appear on Prime Time TV looking smug and righteous. That’s how Newt read the situation when he heard about Robert De Niro’s crack at a Democratic fund raiser.

As part of his introduction of Michelle Obama De Niro asked his audience to think about the wives of the Republican front runners, Karen Santorum, Ann Romney and Callista Gingrich. Then he said, “ Now do you really think our country is ready for a white First Lady? Too soon, right?”

As you might expect this went down a storm with the Democrats. On his show soon afterwards Piers Morgan asked Ann Romney what she thought about the remark. She said she found it quite funny. No reaction yet from Santorum’s wife Karen, he’s probably still working out how this proves Obama is a very bad person. 

But fat boy Newt was straight in there. He thought it was in very bad taste and somehow it gave him the cue for a rant about the privileged elite, how rich Robert De Niro wasn’t in touch with ordinary Americans, many of them unemployed etc etc.

Getting there from a remark about wives doesn’t compute but this is Gingrich, who, as he constantly says is much cleverer than anyone else on the planet. “The world needs to hear what I have to say,” he blustered when challenged about his many hypocrisies, adulteries, shady deals and inability to tell a straight story.

Gingrich doesn’t want an apology from De Niro. He demands one from Obama who was not there at the time and certainly doesn’t have script approval over anything Robert De Niro has to say.

So the President will not be apologizing although Michelle Obama said the remark was inappropriate and De Niro has apologized, saying “My remarks, although spoken with satirical jest were not meant to embarrass anyone – especially the First Lady.”

The biggest joke of all is that Gingrich is still taken seriously on the national stage. But he may have a part to play yet. Speaking with a perfectly straight face recently, Bill Clinton also said Gingrich is very clever. How the Democratic camp would love to run against him in November!
