Abortions should not only be legal and available to all, they should also come with a $10,000 self improvement grant.

The recent scandal over grants to Planned Parenthood pitted two views of abortion against each other. These have clever names: Right to life and pro choice. One side would allow abortions, the other would outlaw them in any circumstance. Is there another approach to this issue.

Without stereotyping anyone, it’s clear that there are people who are the captains of their fate and others who seem to be blown about by the winds of chance. The second type, usually with low incomes and low education, often finds themselves losing their jobs and housing, getting up with the wrong crowd and it the case of many young women, getting pregnant. Often they can neither afford to raise a child or even abort it.

I suggest not only allowing abortions, but for those who can’t afford it, free ones, provided by government. On top of that, the government should provide a one time grant of $10,000 that could be used only for housing, health care and/or education. This would give marginal people a chance to better their lives.

We don’t need a big government agency to determine eligibility. The offer would be open to all, but only once. Clearly the women who have planned to have a child and who are able to care for and raise one would not toss out motherhood for a grant that they don’t really need. The women who are poor and desperate and now pregnant would be the ones to take advantage of this, perhaps giving them their first opportunity to be in control of their own lives.

10,000 bucks may seem a lot of money, but think about what we spend on child welfare, health care through emergency rooms and the crime associated with unwanted children raised in poverty.

The hackneyed debate rolls on. It’s like Sonic pushing a Merry-Go-Round. You’d think that by now the country would be nauseous when it comes to abortion. Recent legislation in Virginia, however, dubs the situation otherwise.

After the GOP swamped Virginia’s State Legislature, the crusade against abortion gained reckless momentum. Legislation attempts in recent weeks to ban the procedure, force insurers to offer policies that offer abortion and no abortion options, and a political re-conceptualization of the Virginia citizen to begin with the fertilized egg reveal a daunting bout unraveling on both ends of the table.

The most recent piece of legislation seeks to require women to get an ultrasound as a pre-requisite for abortion. The aim- to complicate the process and increase the cost of abortion for both the insured and uninsured as a measure of deterrence. The irony of having the elephant usher in regulation is a giggle and a half.

The debate between both parties has driven the subject into separate shades of grey, highlighting a more critical issue in contemporary American society- the over-complication of morality. Consider Lincoln- “When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That’s my religion.” Instead of tailoring the debate to focus on mentality and maintaining a proactive respect for life and the act of creating life, both sides dilute the argument with salt and pepper. Clearly, there are situations where abortion should be an option while at the same time there exists cases in which action should have be taken before abortion was considered as a clean-up for a screw-up. The tragedy in both this recent piece of legislation and the ongoing debate is truly the loss of a society where law and regulation is not the determinant ethic, but the individual and their pursuit of what is truly right and what is truly wrong.

In a book about abortion, a woman named Rayna Rapp describes her decision to kill her unborn son.

Rayna Rapp was late in her second trimester when an amniocentesis test that she had proved that her son had Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a condition that causes a low IQ and a minor deformity of the face. Most children with Down syndrome lead relatively normal lives. Many of them can learn to read, can hold a job, and are happy to be alive.

Rapp, however, did not want her child when she discovered that he would be handicapped. Even though she was fully cognizant of the fact that abortion is murder and she would be killing her unborn baby (she says “deciding to end the life of the fetus you’ve wanted and carried for almost 5 months is no easy matter.”) she chose to kill him.

So why did she decide to kill him? Because apparently having a retarded kid would be too much work. In her own words:

“Mike and I had discussed what we would do if amniocentesis revealed a serious genetic condition long before the test. For us, the diagnosis of Down syndrome was reason to choose abortion. Our thinking was clear… We were eager to have a child, and prepared to change our lives to make emotional, social, and economic resources available. But the realities of raising a child who can never grow to independence would call forth more than we could muster, unless one or both of us give up our work, our political commitments, our social existence beyond the household…. No single family should have to shoulder all the burdens…”

The thought of putting her baby up for adoption does not even cross Rayna Rapp’s mind. To her, there are only two options – a life of inconvenience, or death for her child. She chooses to sacrifice her child. In reality, there is a waiting list for adoption even for babies with Down syndrome. But Rayna Rapp finds it easier simply to do away with her son.

The method of abortion she chooses is a graphic, gruesome method called dilation and evacuation or D&E. Here is how one former abortionist described D&E:

“A second trimester D&E abortion is a blind procedure. The baby can be in any orientation or position inside the uterus. Picture yourself reaching in with the Sopher clamp and grasping anything you can. … You feel something let go and out pops a fully formed leg about 4 to 5 inches long. Reach in again and grasp whatever you can. Set the jaw and pull really hard once again and out pops an arm about the same length. Reach in again and again with that clamp and tear out the spine, intestines, heart and lungs.

The toughest part of a D&E abortion is extracting the baby’s head. The head of a baby that age is about the size of a plum and is now free floating inside the uterine cavity. You can be pretty sure you have hold of it if the Sopher clamp is spread about as far as your fingers will allow. You will know you have it right when you crush down on the clamp and see a pure white gelatinous material issue from the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. You can then extract the skull pieces. If you have a really bad day like I often did, a little face may come out and stare back at you.”

Basically, Rayna Rapp had her child dismembered without any anesthesia. The 21 week old unborn baby boy was fully developed and looked like the baby below – who was photographed at 20 weeks in the womb.

As Rapp describes her choice to dismember her child, she whines about how hard the decision was for her:

“Making the medical arrangements, going back for counseling, the pretests, and finally the abortion, was the most difficult period of my adult life.”

It is remarkable that Rayna Rapp can set herself up as being a victim when she is the perpetrator of an act of violence against her own child. It is remarkable how selfish people can be, how they can refuse to accept their own flesh and blood if the baby does not meet their expectations. It is a truly sad story – made sadder by the mother’s self-righteous justifications.

Woman have consistently carried out abortion, some regret it, others don't.
Guilt,Regret, mental torture and more to mention will never be far away from victims of abortion.

Abortion refers to termination of a pregnancy before birth which eventually results into death of the foetus.

There generally two types of abortion, natural abortion commonly referred to as a miscarriage and induced abortion which is a deliberate brought on due to several circumstances, the base reason is that the pregnancy is usually unwanted.

Victims of abortion are usually rape victims, Commercial sex workers, girls who experience early pregnancies among others. In the early years, it was very dangerous to abort and in deed most of the victims usually ended up dying to this cause. However, today with the advancement in technology and research, abortion has become less harmful, more safer methods of abortion have been discovered which have attributed to the increase in abortion rates.

Victims are blinded by how safe these methods are, not looking at the intensity of this horrible crime; no doubt abortion is a crime in the eyes of man and God. Doctors say that it’s just a tissue but that’s not the reality, its life that they are taking away. Even if man researches for thousands of years, he will never be able to explain how life is made, science can explain the whole process of reproduction from A to Z but not how life is made. Who then are we to take away what we cannot even explain in the simplest of terms.

One thing that hurts are the women who have carried out abortion and have no regrets, I know that is a lie; they go ahead and mislead innocent women to engage in this horrible act. When I visited Am Not Sorry , i was surprised by what i saw, women on this site are continuously caring out abortion and are proud of it. Their stories betray them; they clearly bring out the element of murder in abortion.

You might not understand how dangerous abortion is and how much you need to stay away from it until you have a look at the documentaries; you need to hear from women with a conscious, they will tell you what they feel about abortion. Usually abortion becomes more risky as trimesters advance; the methods used to carry out abortion also vary depending on the trimesters. Survival of the victim becomes more risky too, more bleeding is experienced.

Abortion is like salting a snail, no doubt it eventually dies. We should stay away from abortion as much as possible. methods alone that used in carrying out abortion are very violent, they involve suffocating the foetus, injecting poison into the heart of the foetus, injecting chemicals into the uterus to dismember and tear apart the foetus, cutting the foetus into pieces and crushing the skull of the baby. Based on the techniques used in abortion alone, it’s clear that abortion is murder, all methods aim at taking away the life of an innocent baby. I know you want me to call it a tissue but that’s not the reality, no abortionist will tell you that what they are about to remove is a baby; they will all refer to it as a tissue. Sucrose is a sugar likewise that which they refer to as tissue is a baby.

I know that even after reading all this you might not clearly get the true picture of what abortion is.

Just in case you are not contented, click on the link Graham collection to check out these images and videos that expose abortion. (I do not actually recommend you to.) I was silenced and puzzled for the whole day when I saw these videos; I had so many questions to ask. Worse still there’s no way you will clearly know what abortion is, unless you look at these pictures and videos, you will never know the evil rooted in abortion. Just in case you insist on watching them please click on the link below.

That baby that you killed will haunt you the rest of your life. Say No to Abortion, Don’t Salt The Snail.

Be a Pro-life not a Pro-choice

One controversial topic today is the debate on abortion, where there is conflict between the "mother right" with "right to life of the fetus". The most common view on the issue of abortion was "against the pro-choice" (pro-choice) and "against the pro-life" (pro-life). Both these views have the same legal and moral considerations. Another view is more pragmatic in which abortion should be permitted except for certain cases.

“Pro-choice” mamandang that women have the right to choose whether he wants to preserve or an abortion. In this view, women have full control over their bodies including the fetus in their womb. While the “pro-life” emphasizes that anything contained in the womb of a woman are living beings who are entitled to live and any attempt to abort is considered equal to the murder of humans.

There is much debate over the abortion issue, especially in the United States until recently, because it concerns the moral considerations. Yet there is another viewpoint that explains that “allow” abortion can be performed. In fact, some people are “pro-choice” view that abortion can not be morally permissible if the pregnancy at the age of the second trimester. Although slightly different, some proponents of “pro-life” is also supported if the abortion is done for some specific cases such as rape, incest or “accident”. It is based on the fact that 2% of pregnancies that occur due to such cases.

The debate over abortion is greater from time to time, where many questions that arise such as: whether the government should interfere with personal rights of its citizens? Or questions such as if we are faced with a case where a mother who was pregnant and abortion can endanger the life of the mother, Which to choose? Does the fetus in the womb? Or the life of the mother? Questions like this will often encountered when abortion becomes a thing to do.

There is controversy surrounding whether or not pro-life people should show pictures of aborted babies.

Pro-life people argue that unborn babies are humans who deserve the same rights as those who’ve already been born. One tactic that many pro-lifers used to try to convince people of the humanity of the unborn baby is showing photographic images of unborn babies before and after abortion. Sonograms show the baby in full detail as it lives inside the mother’s womb. Seeing ultrasound images of their own baby or of other babies often convinces women that the baby they’re carrying is indeed human, indeed alive, and indeed worthy of being born.

Another, more controversial tactic that pro-lifers sometimes use is the showing of pictures of aborted babies. These pictures are provided by many different organizations such as the Center for Bio ethical Reform and Priests For Life. These are photos of fetuses that have been aborted. Often, you can see how violent their deaths were. You see legs and arms torn off, skulls crushed, and bodies torn apart. These photos are extremely graphic and often offend people. Many pro-choice people who see signs or photos on the Internet get angry. Pro-lifers don’t understand why the anger is directed at them and not at the people who killed the babies. They feel that if someone should get angry over photo, or is upset about what it shows, they shouldn’t be angry the person who took the photo or showed them the photo, rather the person who caused the situation that made the photo possible.

Although these photos sometimes upset people, they are important to show. They prove that the belief that the unborn are simply cells or tissue to be removed is a lie. As a matter of fact, an unborn baby looks like a baby as early as seven or eight weeks after conception. By this time, he or she has arms and legs and fingers and toes. Yet most abortions in America happen around this time.

But most people aren’t aware of how violent abortion is or how it tears apart a developing baby. They have fallen into the belief that abortion is a simple operation that will remove tissue from the woman’s uterus, not a violent act that kills a baby. Pictures of aborted babies show the truth. Therefore, they should be shown and shown often.

One argument that some pro-choice people and some pro-life people have against the showing of these pictures is the fear that children may see them. It is best to show these pictures in places where there are not many children around. It is better to avoid children seen the pictures – however if children see the pictures, their parents can explain to them about abortion. Even if some children are upset, the pictures save lives and the benefits of showing them outweigh the harm that might be done. The pictures do indeed save lives – many women choose against abortion after seeing them.

This article is about women having abortion. It is morally wrong to a society of continuously development of kids.

Abortion is one of the most persistently controversial issues in American culture and politics today. Since the 1973 national legalization of abortion, competing groups have fought to either restrict or increase access to the procedure, leading to heated debates among political activists, religious organizations, state legislatures, and judges.

This conflict is perhaps reflective of the nation’s ambivalence over abortion. While it is often depicted as a two-sided debate, the abortion controversy is actually quite multifaceted, involving complex speculation on biology, ethics, and constitutional rights. Those who identify themselves as prolife, for example, generally contend that abortion is wrong because it kills human life, which they believe begins at conception. However, some pro-lifers grant that abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest, or when the pregnancy threatens the life or health of the mother. Those who identify themselves as pro-choice often maintain that abortion must remain legal because a woman should have the right to control her body and her destiny. But some pro-choicers also believe that there should be certain restrictions on teen access to abortion and on abortions occurring after the first trimester of pregnancy. This mixture of opinions is probably why Gallup polls consistently show that 50 to 60 percent of Americans favor abortion “only under certain circumstances.”

The continuing debate over a relatively new form of second-trimester abortion called intact dilation and extraction (D&X) reveals the complexity of American opinion on the subject. Referred to as “partial-birth abortion” by its opponents, D&X is usually performed on women who are between twenty and twenty-four weeks pregnant, ostensibly when the fetus has severe defects or when the pregnancy endangers the mother’s health. During the procedure, the doctor delivers all but the head of the fetus from the uterus, then uses scissors to cut a hole in the base of the fetus’s skull so that its contents can be removed. This allows the fetus’s head to collapse so that it can more easily pass through the cervical opening.

Prepare to be offended!

I have decided to post up my viewpoints on certain subjects. You will most likely be offended by what I have to say. That’s okay though. These are my opinions and no I will not stop. You can accept my views or dis-accept them, but you will not convince me to believe otherwise.

With the above said, I believe I can move on to my viewpoints as well as my explanations to my viewpoints.

1. I strongly support abortion!

It stands to reason that if a woman or man can not do what they want with their own bodies then they are a slave to their government or whoever is telling them what to do or not do with their own bodies. In America, slavery has been abolished for a long period of time. Those of you who know American history should know what I am talking about. There are people out there though that say abortion is murder and the fetus should not be denied life.

Let me ask you this!

What if the child was unwanted and resented throughout his/her life? The parents wanted absolutely nothing to do with the child and the mother was forced to have the kid due to religious fanatics that would not let her abort. Is that really fair to the child who then knows nothing of happiness, love, and support, that every child should have?

Here is another scenario. Say the mother was smart enough to realize she didn’t want her kid and put him/her up for adoption. The kid never gets adopted and then gets kicked out of the adoption agency by the time he/she is eighteen. Since the kid never knew the support, love, and care of parents, they are out on their own. Also, since there was no support the kid can quickly turn to drugs or prostitution and die in poverty. Is that fair to the child?

Another scenario which I know is a favorite among many of these pro-life morons, what if the mother was a rape victim? You really think that woman is going to want a constant reminder of what happened to her? I give praise to the mothers who actually raise their children born from this tragic event but I believe abortion should be an option to these woman. It isn’t their fault they got pregnant. It is the rapist’s fault and action should be taken against the bastard. The woman shouldn’t have to suffer the leftover from a disgusting man’s lust.

Okay my final scenario for now, is a mother who is an abusive relationship. Now even if the woman realized she was an idiot in the first place for dating an abuser, she is now stuck with the unwanted relationship because of the kid. (You can also blame child custody laws for that one!) That causes enough stress for a child too. Do you really think that’s fair for a kid?

Of course, a father should have a say too. I am not only for the women in this case. However, if the father is a dead beat dad like so many of them are today, please abort! If the father is not a dead beat dad and you don’t want to abort but don’t want the kid either, sign your rights of that child over to the father and move on with your life. It is still not fair to the child, but at least you did the right thing giving the kid to a parent that will actually provide and care for the child you do not want.

Also, I have one more question. Why is it always played out to be the woman’s fault when she gets pregnant? She didn’t do it by herself. It takes two to make a baby!

I can come up with more scenarios too but I will save it. I will let you fume for a minute or two and then please feel free to read the rest of my article, if you can stomach it.

2. I believe the American education system needs to be changed as in case of public school systems.

I believe every child should have a decent education. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I see many children who do not know how to read or write, yet are passed up to the next grade. I see many children who can’t even comprehend basic arithmetic. Even more horrifying, is the fact none know their history.

You can ask a child about the latest pop culture trends and their answers will be correct. Ask a child what they think of Edgar Allen Poe or even William Shakespeare and you will get non-comprehensive looks from them. Ask them about the American Civil War, or even who their current president is and they are ignorant. (At least, this has been in my experience with children of today.) So, doesn’t it stand to reason that the public schools are in reality not educating our children?

Special Note

I know that some of you reading this are cringing right now. You are angry because I went from the topic of abortion to the topic of public school systems. Or in some people’s eyes, I went from the topic of child killing to better education for children.

I want to make something very clear. I absolutely adore children! I wish to have my own one day. However, I also know the pain and suffering of children who are in families whose mothers should have aborted them, or at the very least given them to a family that was willing and able to provide better love and care for that child(ren).

I believe that if you are going to be a parent you should be fully committed to the task and not give it a half ass job as so many parents do today. Taking your child to Chuck E. Cheese or Funzone is not the epitome of good parenting. Yes, it is fun for the child and I believe every decent parent wishes they can do fun things with and for their children but that isn’t the only thing that needs to be done. A parent has to be supportive of their child(ren) and show them affection, love, and care. This is what I think makes a good parent.

It makes me sick that so many unwanted children are being born into the world that are not receiving the love, care, and support, that every child is entitled too. If you are going to bring a child into this world, please do the right thing by him/her. Be a decent parent, and not one that later regrets having a kid that you didn’t want in the first place!

Oh and to answer a question that has been asked of me lately, I will answer that here in my daily conversations with these pro-life morons!

Pro-Life Idiot: What if your Mother aborted you?

Me: Honestly, I think she should have.

Pro-Life Idiot: But then you wouldn’t be here. You’re mother would have murdered you.

Me: No, I would be here, later on. I would just be better than I am now and in a more supportive environment.

Pro-Life Idiot: How can you say that? Aren’t you glad to be alive?

Me: My parents had me when they where too young and unprepared. I know first hand what I am talking about in the case of children being raised by parents who were unprepared and shouldn’t have been together in the first place.

By the way, my parents also hate each other and ended up divorcing when I was nine years old. In reality, their relationship was over way before that. They only married each other after my Mom found out she was pregnant with me, so save it.

Pro-Life Idiot: You’re parents love you though.

Me: Of course, they love me. They don’t have a choice. I almost died when I was first born too. I can tell you right now, I know for a fact I would have been better than I am now had they waited to have me.

Pro-Life Idiot: What about God?

Me: Oh don’t start that with me! You know my feelings on your “God.”

Pro-Life Idiot: Don’t you fear going to hell?

Me: Can’t have a fear to what doesn’t exist!

Pro-Life Idiot: What do you think will happen to you after you die?

Me: My body gets buried in the ground and life goes on. You seriously got way off topic! Have a good day and enjoy your afterlife with your supposed “god.”

First of all I’m going to tell you, I am totally all about women’s rights, if your ego is so small and your mind so narrow that you can realize that this is 2011 and women are equal you got no right reading this because it will probably tick you off, now listen up, it is our right as women to chose, and yes i don’t believe in abortion but I also do not believe in children being born in to a life that never wanted them. what kind of life is it to live with the fact that your mother or even maybe both your parents didn’t want you, they resent there children and there children didn’t ask to be hear. Child abuse is rampant now, when i was growing up it was swept under the carpet no one cared that when i went home at the end of the day I was going home to a abusive dad. Now its jumped on quite quickly and that’s damn good because no child should be mistreated but i think abortion is right if a women dose not want the child i mean what if she was raped? It takes a humongous ability to love to face every day the product of the most horrendous violation of your life. seriously think with your harts if you take women’s right to chose away you will be responsible for millions of infant deaths and abortion will not stop just because you say it should oh no they will just see it out in improper means so the death toll will jump women and children will die. who the hell gave you the right to judge any ones actions? are you god? no! are you just another human being? hell ya! remember your place and mind your own life not others. think with your mind and hart and leave religion out of it! if you do not believe in it do not do it but do not inter fear with an others rights! this our right to happiness and last time i checked America is still free!

My views on abortion.

“I can vividly remember though I don’t know why, I looked up to the sky and shook my fist, I cursed god himself, my abusive family has always made me want to kill myself, I would never do that but still to this day 24 years later I wish I was never born”( Jtmercutio). After research of this sight and many others it seems to be all too common for children to be brutally abused, whether they had adoptive parents or blood parents. This problem can be solved in a multitude of ways; tougher screening for adoptive parents, easier means for children to report their parents to authorities without them feeling like they are doing something wrong, or to the most extreme abortion. It makes more sense for a child to have never existed then to grow up in a home with a family that does not love him or her. In cases of rape and incest to protect the child’s health, well being and metal state of mind abortion should be considered as a valid option and certainly should not be denied to any potential mother having to make such a difficult choice. Adoption is always a valid choice but that is a choice only an incredibly strong person can make, it’s the hardest thing you could ask of a women. Many young teens are not ready for a child but will engaged in sexual activity, who can blame them American culture is drenched with sex. Abortion should be an option in all states at any time before the third trimester of pregnancy.

Multiple children grow up feeling unloved uncared for or unwanted. This comes from a multitude of reasons. Putting a child up for adoption is a reasonable thing to do, but there are severe consequences. Asking a mother to give birth to her child, hold it in her arms then a second later give the baby away takes a severe toll on mothers some who are not ready to become moms simply cannot give that child away. Even asking women to go through the birthing process, labor, and being pregnant for nine months hardly seem far. A mother should have the choice to put her child up for adoption but she should also be able to have an abortion if she so chooses. Being a child who is adopted also comes with some consciences. According to Basted nation, a program fighting for equal rights for adopted children, a news conference was held at the Statehouse in Maine on November 17, 2008, to introduce the new law that allows adopted adults access to their original certificates. The United States doesn’t provide adopted children accuses for their own birth certificate. What else could we possibly treat these children with malice, if they can’t even obtain their birth certificate?

Since roe v wade in 1973 a Supreme Court case, abortion is now legal in every state though this simple fact does not mean a lot on its own though, take for example Mississippi. Mississippi has one abortion clinic that serves the entire state and they only perform abortion if the pregnancy has gone on no longer then 16 weeks (Tom, Head). This hardly seems far epically to women who were raped. It can take up to two months to determine if you are pregnant in the first place, which leaves little to know time to travel half way across the state and set up an appointment. Abortion should be more readily available to any women who want one.

Children are partaking in more and more sexual activity at a younger and younger age. Who can honestly blame them? American culture is drenched in sexual conduct from our advertisements to magazine articles even the cartoons they watch at a young age. Sexual education courses don’t start early enough to get the images and desires out of children’s heads but if we start earlier then at least they will know how to be safe. Babies having babies is an appalling sight to almost everyone, because no child is ready to have a baby of their own. Anyone under the age of eighteen (at the very least) is mature enough to take care of a child; also they are not prepared mentally or financially for the burden of a child. Abortion should be an option for these children.

It should always be a choice for women to have an abortion. Women should also have more availability to do as they chose. There are many logical reason for women to have an abortion, the pain of child birth, the financial burden of having a child, or any reason they find to be good enough. After all it is their bodies and potently their children who are we to tell them what they can and cannot do with them.
