I will show you how the unconscious mind that produces your dreams helps you solve your problems without making mistakes. You will understand the real importance of dreams and discover safe guidance.

Most people have a relationship problem. Even when they are mentally ill and they have other psychological problems, they also have a relationship problem.

My example is about love, because love is the most important matter of your life. Love is so important that it is a big danger for your mental stability. This is why the unconscious mind is very generous with you. You have trustful information about the person you love, or clear guidance about how to find your perfect match if you have no relationship. This is a dangerous problem too.

The unconscious guidance helps you calm down and understand the truth.

You will perceive that you can trust the unconscious mind because the unconscious messages have a protective character. Thus, you’ll feel supported and relieved for having precious guidance in your own dreams.

You’ll learn everything you need to know about the special person. You will also predict the future and understand how to correct your mistakes before making them (again) and ruining your own life. This way, you’ll have the chance to change your destiny and avoid bad consequences.

The unconscious mind shows you how the future will be unfolded if you’ll follow the wise guidance you have in your dreams, and also how the future will be for you if you’ll disobey the unconscious guidance.

First of all the unconscious mind shows you your good destiny (if you’ll be obedient). Then, it shows you your bad destiny (if you’ll be disobedient). This order is not always respected in all dreams. You may have first of all negative dream scenes in a dream, showing you your bad destiny in the beginning, and your positive destiny only in the end. Dreams comparing different future results are very common.

You have to be obedient in order to be cured and in order to achieve your goals. If you keep making the same mistakes, you cannot be cured.

For example, if the unconscious mind will show you in a dream that the real reason why your husband told you that he needs some time to think and remain alone is the fact that he is cheating on you, you must be very careful and respect the unconscious guidance.

The unconscious mind will tell you to stay alone and never bother your husband again. It will tell you also not to answer his phone calls or email messages.

Your husband must feel that he completely lost you in order to miss you, and understand how much he really loves you. He must also understand that if he loves you and he wants to live with you, he must respect your relationship.

If you’ll be immature and disobedient, you will face the tragic consequences of your mistakes. You have to obey the guidance of your wise doctor instead of doing silly things that will cause more problems.

If you are an obedient student and patient, your progress will be visible after a few days of dream therapy. The unconscious mind changes your life into practice, besides helping you transform your personality.

Your husband will regret having betrayed you and desperately desire to be with you.

If you’ll be silly and easily accept meeting him before he will really regret having betrayed you, he will never be loyal and respect your relationship. Of course you miss your husband, but this doesn’t mean that you should believe in his lies. You have to bear your separation during a certain period of time and precisely follow the unconscious guidance if you want to see the positive results you desire.

If you want to solve all the problems of your life in a short period of time, you must be obedient and patient. Each dream will help you calm down and understand what to do. When you are impatient you pay for your impatience with more suffering, and you delay even more in order to finally solve your problems.

You’ll save time and pain if you’ll be patient, and if you’ll do only what will surely help you solve your problems, instead of making costly mistakes. The unconscious plan may take some time if you have a difficult problem, but this plan is perfect.

If you’ll obey the guidance you have, you will surely triumph in the end. This is guaranteed because the unconscious mind is God’s mind. The unconscious mind doesn’t make tests (like ignorant human beings). You have clear guidance about how to achieve your goals. You only have to obey the directions you have in order to see the results you desire.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Being a writer, I write about what I know.

And I know about the new Shira Ruling that is ruled already in twenty-three states. Right here in America.

What the Shiria Ruling is is, going by the Islam law and abiding by their rules, meaning woman are allowed to be beaten by their husbands and are second class citizens.

Stoning is another practice that will take place in this country. Beatings for lame reasons will be allowed on the streets.

Twenty-three states are allowing these Arabs come into our country and have them push our American citizens around.

America puts out a lot but doesn’t put up enough. I mean putting up meaning to fight.

I am going to fight this crazy, ruling of Shiria. In fact anybody who reads this article should write a letter to the President Barak Obama about this crazy ruling and preventing from spreading through this whole country.

And this is going to sound crazy, crazy, Crazy, but I have half a mind to fly up to Washington DC and talk to Obama straight to his face about this overwhelming problem.

If enough people fight this growing problem we may see positive things done about Shiria.

Everyone has their own personality, but you stay away from the ones you don't like. Maybe you have a husband, child, friend, or employee you like but it's one or two things you don't like about them. I'm saying, "No! Check Yourself!"

Okay, I want you to be receptive to my information. So before I get started I want to to understand, “No! Check Yourself,” is not saying that your wrong or wrong about the person. You could be absolutely correct about the behavior you have identified within a particular persons personality. The reason for the aim I’m taking at the subject is to take your mind off of the actual person. Whether your right or wrong you can never change a person, you can only change yourself.

So I’m going to prepare you and make you aware so that you understand how to deal with people with personal problems. A personal problem could be talkative, liar, theft, trust issues, scary, shy, flirty, sexually exotic, prideful, boaster, need for attention, know it all, playful, aggressive, depressed, etc…. There are so many others but these are off the top of my head. First you need to identify these personalities immediately. You may have a best friend and the only time you don’t like them is when they drink or when they are around someone you like or they like. Maybe you don’t like them if they are not drinking or around someone particular. These are behavior patterns, and at whatever point you don’t like them is the problem area. This is the point where, in their eyes, you change to them also, they might or might not know or notice, but they will eventually. When this situation or point rise that’s when you have to be proactive.

To identify these patterns watch them, and listen to everything they say. Always keep in mind when people get in front of large crowds, is when they are more comfortable to talk freely not watching what they say. This is the time you listen, but not with a judging ear. Just be in tune with listening and you hear more, and read in between lines better. Notice what I said, “Listen then you hear more.” Don’t get so use to hearing people talk, and not listening to people talk. Reading in between the line you pickup on things a lot better, because what people feel can be exposed when playing or in large crowds, but you’ll have to read in-between the lines. Don’t focus to much on that, naturally you’ll pick it up, trust you instincts. Sometimes people are telling you the truth while they are playing. “Aww, I hate that shirt. I’m just kidding it’s nice.”

Don’t just do this in one environment. This is with different environments some or most people change, with social nature, or comfort levels. Guards go down and the true them comes out, you are to know when guards are up and when there down. Ever notice the truth comes out of you when your very upset, and a lot of other people you know. This is a behavior, and your personality is more truthful, while some people are naturally truthful, and don’t sugar coat nothing. That’s a personality, open & blunt or could be cocky. You give it your own title that is all we are doing. Labeling personalities and when they trigger. We do this with our kids, and with people naturally. Some people are more knowledgable doing this. Career’s dealing with multiple personalities daily. Doctors, Lawyers, Salesman, Law Enforcement Officers, Teachers, Parents, etc….

So after your pretty good at spotting these personalities, and the personal problems they have. The ones that are important are the ones that effect your relationship directly with them. Remember, after you get to know someone, you really don’t have to do this. Every new person you meet, learn their personality so you know what your dealing with. What they have done to others, they will do to you, if they haven’t already. You just have to determine if they have changed, cause people do change. Please, don’t confuse this with judging people, we are learning them. Let their actions tell who they are, and some not all of what they say. Talk really is cheap.

Now you have a friend that steals. Keep your things safe when their around and you’ll have no problems. A flirt, keep your man away from them, you’ll never have a problem. Make sense? The problem is when they do something and you were caught off guard. You didn’t identify who they were quick enough. That makes you think people are horrible. Well, they are not, try to consider why they do it, or you may already know. Background, who raise them… Traumatic events, etc… NO Father in childhood.. And some people are open to the idea of change, so keep that in mind…

Now this part might be weird or different but it will make sense. Label your friends and stay within the perimeter. What does that mean? If you have a study partner, cause that’s how both of your relationship blend for both of you best. It goes no farther then that. “So you wanna hit the club tonight?” “NO Thank You!!” You have your club buddy, and this never goes into nothing farther. Having to do with school or personal, etc, is kept separate… You both click better in that particular environment, any other environment expect problems. Or just expect to bump heads. I think you get the picture. Some friends might cover every aspect, or just one or two. It’s like taking the bible study teacher at your church to a strip club. Weird example, but it’s exactly what people do, and that was metaphoric.

Now carefully choose categories to put people in. Allow time to tell you how to govern this, and remember friends are not bad you just have to remember it’s a relationship, but we use friendship to take the relation part away. Relationship is a connection and it takes teamwork. You cannot change no one, but you do have control over yourself & your actions. You can change you. So if you befriended someone, find the real source why and use this information to find out what went wrong. Don’t allow people to use you and take advantage of you, that’s not a friendship, that’s game. Don’t waste time out your life trying to please someone that don’t really care about you. And when you need them they are no where to be found, but the one that’s trying to be a true friend your pushing them further away.

Think about this… If you we’re paralyzed tonight from the neck down to your toenails. Is the person you spend your time with going to be there by your side the entire way through or the person your pushing away? Remember paralyized mean you depend on the people who care for you cause you cannot do anything but move your head. Who do you have in your corner? The people you hurt or the people that hurt you? Who would be there at your bed side? The people in your corner? Would they be there? The people your pushing away? This will help you make the right choices on who you give your time to, cause you might need to re-invest time.

EXAMPLE: Your wife has been telling you for years to get rid of those friends. Now your wife is gone, you finally get hurt. None of those friends drive pass the hospital for 6 month’s. That wife you hurt is right by your side, and she wants to know why you hurt her for them. They don’t even care about you.

I’d hate for you to be depressed due to being paralyzed and a negative response with the people you tried to impress, and feel bad because the people you pushed away is risking everything for you. If your real friends and family ever hold any event or invite you to anything you had better support them it’s important that you show up. If you stay ten minutes, you better show. Now if anyone happens to go to the hospital are you going to support them. After talking about you. Just think about that. I wrote an entire article on that also…. I hope this information assist you. “Now! Check Yourself!”

Conversations with an alien.

I was sitting on the stones by the sea. There was one particular place I used to hide. It was dangerous but since I usually went there in my most suicidal mindset it wasn’t a problem. The stones were large and flat, and usually the sea was about two feet beneath the last stone. When there was a storm all of the stones would be underwater or breaking waves.

So I’m sitting there when I see the Alien. Saw him/her/it coming for about a half minute before he/she/it pulled out of the sea and sat down beside me, taking up the same position.

The Alien had been sea coloured on approach but soon turned grey as the stones. He looked as if he were made of stone or a horned lizard, or a mix of both, I didn’t stare. I had my own problems.

He/She/It sat as I sat and when I changed position, so did the Alien.

I figured I should say something to be polite, but couldn’t think of anything that didn’t sound lame. I mean, “Welcome to Earth?” That’s like have a housewarming when a new prisoner takes up a cell, or congratulating someone on failing their courses. I was thinking to say, “Come here often?” but it sounded like a ‘pick up’ line.

The Alien spoke first;

“Why are you sitting here?”

The voice was sort of whispering and fractured but the words were clear.

For no particular reason I began a recountation of my completely botched life. I don’t know why I was talking so much, and admitting things I wouldn’t if a gun was at my head. I was also being more honest than I usually am even with myself.

When I finally stopped talking, the Alien started telling me his/her/its problems. I heard all the words but they meant nothing to me. The more words the more obscure the definitions, for surely the problems this Alien had were Alien.

I guessed my problems were just as undecipherable to him/her/it as his/her/its were to me.

Alien spoke about as long as I did, then we just sat and looked at the sea.

At some point I was alone, but don’t know exactly when. I guess I bored the Alien so he/she/it probably went to find someone who either would show some excitement or intelligence.

I sighed, then decided it was time to go back to my house.

My opinion on the UK riots that happened in August 2011.

My opinion on the UK riots, yes it is ridiculous what they have done and they are cowards. What they have done to the public and the people that have done nothing wrong and do not want to be involved. Its heart breaking that some people have been injured and killed. It’s terrible news but do people ever think the government are stopping too much since they came into power? What do we all have? Students struggling to pay for Uni or College, unemployment, food prices rises struggling to live while government are jetsetting around the world and it being such a big thing that they have to come back and sort things out. I knew this was eventually bound to happen when people are pushed just that bit too far hopefully things will be able to get reconcilliated and all of this will stop before the country goes out of control but please think about both sides of the story people before you judge.

In the beginning you have to study the meaning of dreams according to the scientific method of dream interpretation discovered by Carl Jung, and simplified by me, who continued his research, clarifying all the obscure points in his work. I transformed the complicated dream language into a comprehensible language that everyone can understand.

After studying the meaning of the symbolic dream language made only by images for a while (the same way you study any foreign language made only by words) you will easily understand the meaning of all dreams. Of course, some dreams are simple, while other dreams are complicated, but you will be able to easily translate the meaning of any dream by following my simplification of Carl Jung’s method of dream interpretation.

For example, here is a very simple dream. If you know the meaning of the dream symbols discovered by Carl Jung and by me, who continued his research explaining the meaning of numerous dream symbols that he couldn’t explain, you will easily understand the unconscious messages:

‘Richard was walking in the dark street, when he saw three snakes crawling on the sidewalk. He manages to go to the other side of the city, where he found a beach. There was a policeman there, looking for a thief. Someone had stolen a house near there.’

We must learn a few details about the dreamer’s life story and the issues he is facing now in order to properly translate this dream. Richard is a 30 – 40 years old unmarried man who has a low self-esteem. He recently met an interesting woman he liked very much, but he is afraid that she didn’t feel the same for him. She was simply very polite and professional with him.

Dream Translation:

‘Richard was walking in the dark street’

The street indicates that the dreamer is in a dangerous life situation.

He ignores many things about himself and about his reality. This is the meaning of darkness in dreams.

‘when he saw three snakes crawling on the sidewalk.’

The number three indicates that the dreamer is not using three of his four psychological functions (thoughts, feelings, sensations, and intuition). He is making his decisions based on only one psychological function.

This means that he is making wrong decisions because his conscience is one-sided.

The snakes in dreams represent bad events that will put an end to the dreamer’s mistakes. In other words, he will have to pass through bitter experiences in order to stop repeating costly mistakes originated by his one-sided conscience.

‘He manages to go to the other side of the city, where he found a beach.’

The city indicates a dangerous environment, which indicates a dangerous life situation, like the street.

This means that the dreamer managed to abandon one danger (the city) to find another danger: the beach. The beach is near the sea, which represents craziness in dreams.

Therefore, in order to avoid certain danger about a reality that he ignored (the dark street), Richard found another danger. The sea in dreams represents the unknown content of the human psyche where craziness is hidden.

‘There was a policeman there, looking for a thief.’

The policeman in dreams represents the dreamer’s self-defense.

The thief is a negative part of his personality that belongs to his anti-conscience (the wild side of his conscience).

Therefore, his self-defense is looking for a part of his personality that belongs to his absurd and evil anti-conscience because the dreamer understands that he lost his psyche (the house in dreams) because certain part of his personality fell in love with the wrong person.

His anti-conscience is misleading him and making him believe that the woman he met is the ideal one for him.

In other words, he tried to avoid certain danger, and this is why he accepted the absurdity of his wild conscience. The danger he tried to avoid was to look for his perfect match. He preferred to accept the absurdity of his anti-conscience. In the end, his self-defense had to look for the part of his personality that let the wrong woman steal his psyche.

‘Someone had stolen a house near there.’

When a house is stolen in dreams this means that the dreamer loses his psyche because he falls in love with someone who is not the right person for him. Therefore, his anti-conscience made him fall in love with a bad woman who will only make him suffer. This is how the anti-conscience will manage to destroy his human conscience and control his behavior. This dream was a warning. The woman he met was not the ideal one for him. He will pass through many bitter experiences trying to conquer her heart, while she is not the right partner for him. Even if he will manage to have a love relationship with her, she won’t make him happy. The fact that he is unmarried and insecure is making him accept the absurdity of his anti-conscience. He is desperately looking for a partner, while he is too afraid of a love relationship.

Richard must keep following dream therapy in order to stop being influenced by his anti-conscience and develop all his psychological functions. This is how he will overcome his fears and become self-confident. When he will transform his personality, he will find his perfect match.

His dreams and his life work in parallel, and are strictly connected. When he will become mature enough, he will meet the ideal woman for him. First of all he must learn how to behave.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Find someone and help them, cause this world is missing the main ingredient... "LOVE" Show some first, to be shown some...

Heres why I cry: I’m strong, I can’t give up, but I’m tired and cannot commit suicide!
[ (Suicide) Against My God ]
Can you imagine that? You’re strong so you never give up, but your tired and cannot die!
[ (Tug Of War with the mind.) ]

“This pain I feel, is from my head to my heels. I’m always doing right, cause I know kindness kills. I have one problem with all the feelings I feel. I would love to know when will it heal. Made lots of good choices, though some was bad, but I’m forgetting a good feeling, so now I’m hanging my head. I’ve always been strong but I’ve struggled to long. Lord when I raise my kids I’ll be ready to come home. I try to make friends and I try not to sin. But lord I seem to continue to give in. Can a have a break, if even just for a day. Oops! Lord I forgot you still letting me breathe!” -Rod

I’ve been struggling for so long and I’ve just been wanting the simple things out of life! A family, kids, wife, running car, and a home! Not a house, a home! I have not yet to get them, but I’m constantly preaching and teaching to do the right thing! Yes! There is a reward for the hard times and doing the right thing but these rewards are in heaven!

For once I’d just like to be without the same issues. I’ve address them in several different manners but getting the same results. I don’t steal, kill, drink, smoke, club or talk bad about others! A trustworthy person, but for some reason I’m always getting the cheating girlfriend, the fake friend’s, the temporary jobs! It’s just I never really get a way out, and yes I’m complaining cause I don’t complain cause I understand it makes thing worst. Some of you have family that loves you and will give you an arm or a leg, and you take it for granted!

Some of you have the perfect woman and won’t treat them like a queen, forget a woman, like a queen! Some you can have any job you want, or can go to any college out there, and you just take these things for granted! But someone that really needs the opportunity is just in the mud! It is just so painful to go through these type of problems and still being a good person! Not walking around hating people, not stealing in desperate situations, allow people to talk bad about you and keep quiet!

I’ve dealt with a lot and all I want out of life is a family and to help as many people as I can in the world! I feel like I can cry for the people that can’t do it, I could cry for the world cause I feel others pain and I hate it! There is barely any love going around in the world anymore, and I know God is love. So we really need to start looking out for one another, it’s people around you barely making it!

And I know everyone has there own story but every chance you get show some love and wipe somebody’s tears away! Cause I could use one million dollars right now, just like you! But right now I need a should, or something to wipe my eyes! If you don’t care about others more then yourself your already dead! Go to the nursing homes, hospitals, jails, yes jails, homeless shelter, or just find someone needing love.

Love is a nuclear weapon for Christian people….

A brief overview and analysis of the Arab Spring consisting of my views on the progress and current position and perceived power of these transitioning states.

Timelines are always good ways to understand important events in history, especially when it comes to revolutions. If we look back at European history, we can see almost exact correlations between the 1848 revolutions and those happening in the Middle East today. With the success of the American and French revolutions in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, everyone followed these as models to revolt against their oppressive governments. Each revolution sparked a new one in another country; however, very few of these revolutions succeeded. The most notable of which that succeeded was Greece’s separation from the Ottoman Empire (with the aid of other European powers).
European and East Asian countries, as well as the U.S, have kept a still tongue on the topic of the Middle Eastern protests. With a majority of the world’s oil coming from that area, as well as the necessity of the Suez Canal for oil and other trades, taking sides on such a sensitive subject could prone disastrous for each country’s foreign policy if they choose the wrong “side” to be on. Not only that, but the sensitive information held by these crumbling governments could cause further polarization and dissent within the world economy and world conflicts.
The beginning of protests and demonstrations began in Tunisia on December 17, 2010, later intensifying in January, with more Tunisian revolts and thousands of protesters calling for Mubarak’s removal in Egypt. These, and other oppressive governments refused to let their power go, as they sent out loyalists to fight the protesters. Tunisian’s early protests began a regional dissension with the governments in the Middle East, pre-empting Egypt’s first protests on January 16.
Egyptians were inspired by the Tunisian revolts, and ultimately called for the end of Hosni Mubarak’s 30 year dictatorial. After weeks of constant bombardment of protests, Mubarak was taken out of office on February 11, leaving the military in control of Egypt.
Algerian protestors planned a march on their parliament building, yet were met with Algerian police blockades which injured 42 activists. Many other protests have been evolving since and continue from the problems created by the 1992 civil war.
Bahrain, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, Sudan, Syria, Oman, and Yemen citizens who were fed up with their governments and did not trust them used previous and still occurring revolutions to fuel their own protests. Of course, with the world watching and hoping for the best, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has signed a deal under which he will step down after months of unrest in Yemen.[1] Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi had been killed in action by the Rebel troops, where the new governmental system is beginning to take place, and Tunisia has already casted its first election.
Recently, Libya and South Sudan have gained their independence from their oppressive regimes. South Sudan splitting from Sudan was probably the most notable event to occur, as before, the Genocides in Darfur were an untouchable problem to the international community due to the anarchic state of the world. This means that Sudan was its own sovereign problem, and any Governmental attempts to intervene would be a violation of Sudan’s sovereignty. Since the split, the International community (including NGOs and IGOs) has been able to pledge their support of the oppressed South Sudan. Because South Sudan now exists as its own sovereign power, it has the ability to ask for and receive aid from the international community. Libyan rebels had confirmed the death of Gadhafi around a month or so ago, and have been on the fast track to starting up their Islamic infused Liberal Republic government system. As previously stated, Tunisia has already had their first elections and the world is very optimistic about the outcome of the first Islamic state to obtain its independence.

The odd thing about the entire Arab Spring is that Iran’s President Ahmadinejad has voiced his favorable opinions of the protestors (who can also be seen as a model by the Occupy movements all across the world); however, Ahmadinejad has proven to be hypocritical as he is not a legitimate ruler. Not counting the voter fraud, Iran’s president really only has power over Kabul (because of the government’s weak and unstable structure), as well as being oppressive (cutting out people’s internet, phone, TV, etc…), but he is blatantly hiding behind the idea that because Iran has “elections” that it is a democracy; when in reality it isn’t a true Democracy per it’s major modern influence, Emmanuel Kant, who authored the Democratic Peace Theory. His writings state that a Liberal Republic (I.e. – the US) consists of a separation of powers, Independent judiciary, and individual rights honored. By all means Iran fails this mold, and only further shows Ahmadinejad’s illegitimacy.

Last but not least, Pakistan – possibly the biggest threat to the world today. The major problem we have is how to deal with this uncooperative state in the midst of it being a nuclear state. The Middle East, in general, has had a long history of being exploited for various resources and political reasons by the European and Western worlds. These, as well as the uncontrollable economic, cultural and political forces of Globalization have ended up severely infringed on not only the sovereignty of these states, but also the traditional Islamist culture they wish to keep. While many embrace the various aspects of Globalization; however, various factions and political leaders have taken this nationalist spirit to an extreme via a backlash of globalism. These backlashes have resulted in instability in nearly all aspects of government, as well as spikes in violent protest (a.k.a. – terrorism). While terrorism can be born regardless of state or nationality, Pakistan stands out among the crowd. Considering the aid received from various nations in Pakistan’s quest for independence from India (succeeding via the Partition of India in 1947); one would think with such international support that Pakistan would be more stable and peaceful.[2] Despite the long-term attempts to have peaceful, diplomatic relations with Pakistan, it remains the epicenter of dealing with terrorism, as well as one of the most violent, unstable nations there is.[3] [4] As Pakistan remains a nuclear power, along with containing 15 nuclear power sites within its borders, the international community therefore must carefully craft their approach to this unstable state.[5] While many argue that violence / military action is the only way to deal with people like this[6], a full scale war would prove to be disastrous in the end (note the aforementioned nuclear missiles). We, instead, must use diplomatic means of re-structuring the Pakistani government’s egregious world goals. Various economic and militaristic sanctions, revoking certain privileges granted by the U.N., along with keeping a “close eye” on the internal machinations of the Pakistani government are very possible alternatives to combat.

In the end, I would argue that most people in the world would rather see an internationally aided Pakistan revolution than continuing with the status quo. The benefits of such exponentially outweigh the drawbacks, despite claims by many media outlets (i.e. – Fox News) that the Muslim Brotherhood and/or terrorists would take the place of the fallen, corrupt regimes. However, this could not and will not happen, as according to polls in Egypt, such groups have approval ratings close to that of Hosni Mubarak’s 10%.[7] With Democratic policies setting in among the Arab Spring states, Tunisia already casting its first election, it is reasonable to believe that these people are much better off now than they were at the beginning of 2011, and the same could be said for Pakistan. As long as the international community continues to send the message to Pakistan that their pro-terrorist/militant agenda will not be tolerated, the gears of Revolution will continue to turn, and hopefully, revolution can spark and replace this corrupt and unstable government, with a new international ally, trading partner, and peacekeeper. Also considering the amount of money the world has pumped into an unwilling and immovable Pakistan, a new, Liberal Republic government could soothe the economic pains of those who loaned money by re-gaining control of their share of OPEC, the Nuclear sites and missiles. This wouldn’t only calm the fears of oil sanctions on the international community (by a corrupt Pakistan) but it would greatly reduce the international security and safety risk with more transparency and better anti-terrorism measures in place.

An analysis and views on Pakistan as a world and nuclear power. I look at Pakisan's long history and how events up to now have shaped who they are as a state today, and how we can solve such problems as a global community.

The Middle East, in general, has had a long history of being exploited for various resources and political reasons by the European and Western worlds. These, as well as the uncontrollable socioeconomic, cultural and political forces of Globalization have ended up severely infringed on not only the sovereignty of these states, but also the traditional Islamist culture they wish to keep. Considering the aid received from various nations in Pakistan’s quest for independence from India (succeeding via the Partition of India in 1947); one would think with such international support that Pakistan would be more stable and peaceful. Despite the long-term attempts to have peaceful, diplomatic relations with Pakistan, it remains the epicenter of dealing with terrorism, as well as one of the most violent, unstable nations there is.[1] As Pakistan remains a nuclear power, along with containing 15 nuclear power sites within its borders, the international community therefore must carefully craft their approach to this unstable state. While many argue that violence is the only way to deal with people like this, I argue that a full scale war would prove to be disastrous in the end (note the aforementioned nuclear missiles).

A majority, if not all, of these aforementioned problems can be attributed to the pseudo-Democratic system (or Federal Parliamentary republic) that Pakistan has in place. This governmental system is similar to that of China and Iran, where it appears to be a “Democracy,” but it isn’t the kind of democracy we typically think of, which is a Liberal Republic.[2] Pakistan (and other states) uses this façade to trick states that provide economic and military aid to not think twice about where the money is going to or to whom. Now this statement has gradually become less true as intelligence agencies within the major European and Western powers have discovered the corruption and misuse of money. In 2008, an anonymous tip to The Guardian news reported that probably around $3.8 Billion of U.S. aid alone were wasted or misspent by the Pakistani Government, which is calculated around 70% of the aid given between 2002 and 2007.[3] While the U.S. has been the major source of aid to Pakistan, they have also taken large loans from IGO’s and NGO’s such as the IMF, Election Support Group (ESG) and the U.K.[4] [5] [6] [7] While more and more money goes to the Pakistani government for anti-terrorism measures, we continue to see substantially less amounts of it going where it’s supposed to. In conjunction, we’ve also seen a rise in the amount of terrorists crossing in and out of Pakistan, or in Osama Bin Laden’s case, living there peacefully in a large house for 5 years right next to a major military base in Abbottabad.

As far as Anti-Terrorism goes, the Pakistani government has been not only lying about intelligence pertaining to whereabouts of terrorists wanted worldwide, but they had duped most of the world into believing it, as every time the US or India accused Pakistan of giving terrorist groups a safe-haven, they denied it.[8] Despite the overbearing evidence found from Operation “Neptune Spear” about Pakistani links to Osama Bin Laden, intelligence on other terrorists in Pakistan, etc… Pakistan still denies it’s involvement in aiding terrorists, and they, along with Fidel Castro[9], Ismail Haniyeh[10], and Amnesty International[11], condemned the international community (and the US itself) for allowing the U.S. to violate its sovereignty and assassinate people within its borders. Attorney General Eric refuted this by stating the killing was done in national self-defense, especially after Bin Laden took the blame for the 9/11 massacre of 3,000 peoples. As aforementioned, Pakistan has become substantially more and more aggressive with the international community, and seemingly gave up all stakes in the fight against terrorism. The fact that the U.S. had to keep this raid almost a complete secret among its own government, allies, and Pakistan[12] leads to the conclusion that Pakistan is not to be trusted, especially when considering that Pakistan ‘gave China access’ to the downed US prototype stealth helicopter used in the raid.[13] Not only did Pakistan go behind the entire world’s back by knowingly or (unlikely) unknowingly harboring terrorists, but they also obviously cannot be trusted with money, as seen by reckless spending of Anti-terrorist loans/funds, or information. Contrary to Pakistani claims that US intervention is the sole facilitating force of terrorist growth in the region, AFPAK foreign policy news notes that terrorist groups like the LeJ, LeT, and LeM existed long before US and European involvement.[14]Because of the corrupt nature of this government, it’s not a problem of lack of aid, because there is plenty of military and economic aid being pumped into Pakistan by the IMF and other countries. The unstable and corrupt government is the major problem that has, and continues to be a constant threat to not only their historical enemy, India, but the entire world.[15]

If abusing anti-terrorist aid, aiding terrorists wanted worldwide, and being an overall aggressive and corrupt state wasn’t enough, Pakistan has been a Nuclear power since 1972, and contains around 15 Nuclear (power) sites within its borders.[16] This recently became a very hot topic worldwide when GOP Presidential Candidate Michelle Bachman quoted Goldberg & Ambinder’s (writers for Atlantic Monthly) report in their Pakistan dispatch. According to them, at least six of Pakistan’s nuclear facilities have been targeted by terrorists, and that (according to satellite imagery & other sources) there are at least 15 other plants around Pakistan in which jihadists can obtain some kind of nuclear materials or even warheads.[17] Bachman, along with President Obama, and other world leaders have acknowledged this very real threat, and because of the nuclear nature of this situation, every move made by a state towards Pakistan must be done ever so carefully.[18] China especially believes that nearly any type of deficiency of international support in Pakistan would imperil the entire stability of the state.[19] Pakistan’s growing violent tendencies is further proved by their direct backing of the Afghan Taliban-allied Haqqani network linked to the September 13th attack on the US in Kabul.[20] The fact that a nuclear state with a corrupt government and weak nuclear security is aiding terrorists isn’t only a US or India problem, it’s a real immediate international threat.

As I mentioned earlier, while the international community (including numerous IGOs and NGOs) have given vast amounts of economic, humanitarian, and military aid to Pakistan, most of it has been misused and poorly appropriated. Over the years, numerous countries have become pessimistic and therefore unwilling to pay their dues for peacekeeping in the UN. Recently, the UN and IGO/NGOs has generally stayed passive and seemingly unwilling to intervene in Pakistan, mainly because they have yet to find a course of action that would take the neocolonialism aspect out of humanitarian interventions, and therefore a possible violation of sovereignty. In the past, states have attempted to use sanctions against an unwilling Pakistan (per India’s request) to change the course of governmental actions; however, they seem to have failed as Pakistan still has direct links to supporting internal and external militant groups.[21] [22] [23] It would be ideal if there was an entire restructuring of the government via some sort of revolution by the people, akin to that of the Arab spring. In light of the Arab spring, it seems that a large amount of people in North Africa/the Middle East are keen to the idea of Democracy now with the expanse of the social networking capabilities. Using our own, NATO, UN, or diplomatic means to persuade the people to revolt against their corrupt government, again, is ideal; however the problem lies within keeping the current regime from undermining those efforts and retaliating. Many Europeans and Westerners argue that the age-old campaign of attempting to push Democracy in the Middle East will not work; however, that is not the case. It is quite clear that a real Democracy can be born and thrives from and by the people as seen by the Arab spring.[24]

Using the Arab Spring as the example again, the decades old dictatorial and corrupt governments fell to the will of the people. I believe that the educating of the Pakistani people of Democracy and the other successful movements across the Middle East can change the old consensus to want a removal of the current regime. Much like the Libyan campaign of NATO and other economic and militaristic forces aiding the rebels, success can be guaranteed with the same kind of fervor for a Liberal Republic. A way to accomplish this would be more harsh economic and militaristic sanctions (internationally enforced) on the current Pakistani government to not only get the gov’t to act more for its people, but to show the Pakistani people that their government isn’t doing things for their best interest, and rather the world has had to pick up its slack. Like the Arab Spring revolutions, we would need to instill a sense of Nationalism and Globalism at the same time in the Pakistani people so they not only have a sense of community within their borders to want their Government to be more responsive and helpful, but also feel that they are welcome in the Global world today. Some, like Senator Lindsey Graham, argue that this government is too corrupt to negotiate with, and military action must be used in order to end their aiding of terrorists.[25] While we did have to go behind Pakistan’s back to use military force against Osama Bin Laden and kill known terrorists, no state can risk a war with Pakistan, as its nuclear capabilities in the hands of terrorists, or the current government is too large of a risk for large casualties. Not only that, but if the current regime were to fall via war, Terrorist cells would easily be able to infiltrate and obtain nuclear weapons.[26] The proper approach would be for negotiations, sanctions, UN, NATO, US and other states enforcing their presence in Pakistan to act better, and/or whipping up a revolutionary movement.

I would argue that most people in the world would rather see an internationally aided Pakistan revolution than continuing with the status quo. The benefits of such exponentially outweigh the drawbacks, despite claims by many media outlets (i.e. – Fox News) that the Muslim Brotherhood and/or terrorists would take the place of the fallen, corrupt regimes. However, this could not and will not happen, as according to polls in Egypt, such groups have approval ratings close to that of Hosni Mubarak’s 10%.[27] With Democratic policies setting in among the Arab Spring states, Tunisia already casting its first election, it is reasonable to believe that these people are much better off now than they were at the beginning of 2011, and the same could be said for Pakistan.

A monarch arab country with a well loved nearly benevolent dictator, what can America learn from this wildly different country?

Here in America we love our freedoms, we love our democracy, and we love our choices…well most of us do at any rate. So what does America really lack in that this Monarchist Dictatorship has, besides enough oil to effectively eliminate our 14 trillion dollar debt? Dubai has a government-citizenship connection that would be almost appalling to see anywhere in America.

So what am I talking about? In Dubai, the monarch has a set period each day where he meets with citizens, face to face, no walls, no phones, no bars, and the citizen is able to voice their complaints in front of their ruler without fear of persecution or punishment. An agency isn’t doing it’s job? A citizen can talk to the ruler and the agency will be put in its place very quickly.

Here in America we have a detached view of our politicians, they do their thing in congress and if we have a complaint about what they’re doing we just think “oh well, that’s how it is” and pray for better choices come next election. That’s not how it should be at all! We put those bastards in office, they should be forced to spend at least a month out of every year doing nothing but meeting with constituents and hearing our problems, our disagreements with their policies, and our suggestions face to face. They should be looking right at us every month and listen to US speak for once, listen to US tell them OUR problems. They need to remember and be reminded yearly who put them where they are, who made them who they are, and who can switch them out if they don’t do a good job. Congress needs to be reminded that they don’t answer to the democratic or republican party council, they answer to us, the citizens of the U.S.

It may not seem like much, but by forcing congress to convince thousands of us every year that they’re doing a good job, individually, face to face, we give ourselves a government that knows its being watched. If our politicians know what we want and know we have our eye on them our ideas will hold that much more weight.
