What does Islam say?

Deceptive commercials and cultural propaganda present an ugly practice of paganism (mushrik) as if it were some beautiful festival of love – and all the time the devil is laughing at believers who listen to his whispers.

A group of practices considered as the twin sister of bid’ah(misguided innovations). Like bid’ah these flourish on . . .

 . .  ignorance and outside influence. Like bid’ah they entail rituals. But unlike bid’ah the rituals have not been given an Islamic face. They are followed because they are considered an acceptable cultural practice or the hottest imported “in” thing.

Most of those who indulge in them do not know what they are doing. They are just blind followers of their equally blind cultural leaders. Little do they realize that what they consider as innocent fun may in fact be rooted in paganism. That the symbols they embrace may be symbols of unbelief. That the ideas they borrow may be products of superstition. That all of these may be a negation of what Islam stands for.

Consider Valentine’s Day, a day that after dying out a well deserved death in most of Europe (but surviving in Britain and United States of America) has suddenly started to emerge across a good swath of Muslim countries. Who was Valentine? Why is this day observed? Legends abound, as they do in all such cases, but this much is clear: Valentine’s Day began as a pagan ritual started by Romans in the 4th century BCE to honour the god Lupercus. T

he main attraction of this ritual was a lottery held to distribute young women to young men for “entertainment and pleasure” – until the next year’s lottery. Among other equally despicable practices associated with this day was the lashing of young women by two young men, clad only in a bit of goatskin and wielding goatskin thongs, who had been smeared with blood of sacrificial goats and dogs. A lash of the “sacred” thongs by these “holy men” was believed to make them better able to bear children.

As usual, Christianity tried, without success, to stop the evil celebration of Lupercalia. It first replaced the lottery of the names of women with a lottery of the names of the saints. The idea was that during the following year the young men would emulate the life of the saint whose name they had drawn. (The idea that you can preserve the appearance of a popular evil and yet somehow turn it to serve the purpose of virtue, has survived.

Look at all those people who are still trying, helplessly, to use the formats of popular television entertainments to promote good. They might learn something from this bit of history. It failed miserably) Christianity ended up doing in Rome, and elsewhere, as the Romans did. 

The only success it had was in changing the name from Lupercalia to St. Valentine’s Day. It was done in CE 496 by Pope Gelasius, in honour of some Saint Valentine.

There are as many as 50 different Valentines in Christian legends. Two of them are more famous, although their lives and characters are also shrouded in mystery. According to one legend, and the one more in line with the true nature of this celebration, St. Valentine was a “lovers’” saint, who had himself fallen in love with his jailer’s daughter.

Due to serious troubles that accompanied such lottery, French government banned the practice in 1776. In Italy, Austria, Hungry, and Germany also the ritual vanished over the years. Earlier, it had been banned in England during the 17th century when the Puritans were strong. However in 1660 Charles II revived it. From there it also reached the New World, where enterprising Yankees spotted a good means of making money. Esther A. Howland, who produced one of the first commercial American Valentine’s Day cards called – what else – valentines, in the 1840s, sold $5,000 worth – when $5,000 was a lot of money – the first year. The valentine industry has been booming ever since.

It is the same story with Halloween, which has otherwise normal human beings dressing like ghosts and goblins in a reenactment of an ancient pagan ritual of demon worship. Five star hotels in Muslim countries arrange Halloween parties so the rich can celebrate the superstitions of a distant period of ignorance that at one time even included the shameful practice of human sacrifice. The pagan name for that event was Samhain (pronounced sow-en). Just as in the case of Valentine’s Day, Christianity changed its name, but not the pagan moorings.

Christmas is another story. Today Muslim shopkeepers sell and shoppers buy Christmas symbols in Islamabad or Dubai or Cairo. To engage in a known religious celebration of another religion is bad enough. What is worse is the fact that here is another pagan celebration (Saturnalia) that has been changed in name – and in little else – by Christianity.

Even the celebration considered most innocent might have pagan foundations. According to one account, in pagan cultures, people feared evil spirits – especially on their birthdays. It was a common belief that evil spirits were more dangerous to a person when he or she experienced a change in their daily life, such as turning a year older. So family and friends surrounded the person with laughter and joy on their birthdays in order to protect them from evil.

How can anyone in his right mind think that Islam would be indifferent to practices seeped in anti-Islamic ideas and beliefs? Islam came to destroy paganism in all its forms and it cannot tolerate any trace of it in the lives of its followers.

Further, Islam is very sensitive about maintaining its purity and the unique identity of its followers. Islamic laws and teachings go to extra lengths to ensure it. Salat (Prayers) is forbidden at the precise times of sunrise, transition, and sunset to eliminate the possibility of confusion with the practice of sun worship. To the voluntary recommended fast on the tenth of Muharram, Muslims are required to add another day (9th or 11th) to differentiate it from the then prevalent Jewish practice. Muslims are forbidden to emulate the appearance of non-Muslims.

A Muslim is a Muslim for life. During joys and sorrows, during celebrations and sufferings, we must follow the one straight path – not many divergent paths. It is a great tragedy that under the constant barrage of commercial and cultural propaganda from the forces of globalization and the relentless media machine, Muslims have begun to embrace the Valentines, the Halloween ghost, and even the Santa Claus. Given our terrible and increasing surrender to paganism the only day we should be observing is a day of mourning. Better yet it should be a day of repentance that could liberate us from all these days.

Please Forward it to other Muslim brothers and sisters to stop them from practicing such bid’ah… It is our duty as a Muslim and a Human being to spread the knowledge of our deen.May ALLAH forgive us for the sins we do consciously or unconsciously.. A’ameen

Unfathomable emptiness and irresponsibility, and moral bankruptcy of the last two years PICE officials’ terms shall have their end.

Most of CE population were angry about the obvious flaws.

The politically motivated immature withdrawal of power had been a disaster.

THAT UNWITTY REINVASION FOR THIS YEAR MIGHT BE EVEN WORSE.

“Why bother? They’ll be out after one year. Why spread this?”

Their FUN must be over, its feat have its finale. We, civil engineering students, are on call of true leaders. This is the time to restore honour and dignity to our beloved Association of Civil Engineering Department; to usher in a new generation era of restoration that will leave no helpless child behind (who among you haven’t still received your unclaimed shirts in Mark’s term) J

As your ate, before I graduate I want to issue you this note: DON’T SUPPORT THE PICE EXECUTIVE OFFICIALS FOR THE LAST  TWO TERMS WHICH ARE NOW AGAIN HAVE A SKIN TO RUN FOR ANOTHER POSITION. I could see that they can do nothing, especially that Rodel and Carvin. They never ,ake a way as far as I know to resolve Mark’s flaw regarding department shirt.

CAUSE IF ONLY THEY REACT AGAINST IT, AND ACT RESOLVING IT, MAYBE NOW PICE IS ACCREDITED AND THIS YEAR, THE RE-ELECTED OFFICIALS IN A DIFFERENT POSITION, HAS PROVEN THEMSELVES THAT THEY CAN DO NOTHING.

I wonder why good heavens permit them to be seated again this ending academic year 2010-2011. To give them a chance to makeup of their glitch? So be it. AND WHAT NOW?  Things got worse.

All of a sudden I could see their names again campaigning for themselves in a position they are not worth of.

Then, there we have Carla running as president. I asked my friend about her. And through some inquiries, I knew she was once a second year representative of Mark’s slate. “Ah, ganun ba?” [Ah, really?]

Goodness, is there anyone willing to run as president aside from those tested worthless officials of the last two terms?

Just then, there are these guys who gave me leaflet of this Carla’s slate. I thought of asking, “Ano tinatakbuhan niyo?” [What are you running for?]

“Ai, ate hindi po. Supporters kaming lahat po na classmates niya tumutulong for her. Kahit ayaw naming tumakbo siya as president, kailangan naming tumulong at suportahan siya dahil gusto niya at naniniwala po kami na kaya niya.”  [Oh lady we don’t. We are just her classmates who support her. Eventhough we don’t want her run as president, we want to support and help her because we know that she can do it.]

If I was her classmates, I won’t help her. LOL. But to think of how passionate her classmates might be for unknown reasons just to help her can be a sign that she is a good leader to test. (For once, she already had been an officer). And it signifies that she could move mountains.

I never knew this Carla personally, BUT I THINK SHE WORTH A TRY.

OPEN YOUR EYES.

Don’t let those officials from the last two terms have their seat again. Not because I have something about them, but they are already tested for two years. And still their fields are barren; they accomplished nothing for the students. They bear no good fruits. To tell you honestly, I miss my first and second year stay here in this college. The presidents by then are really ROCKING and RESPONSIBLE! I just don’t know why the last good leader produced was KING.

NOW FELLOW CE STUDENTS, TIME TO THINK. VOTE RIGHT! WE ARE SO THROUGH WITH THAT VOTE STRAIGHT.

As always, when is the time for change!? NOW! I hope that CHANGE in CARLA’s slate is for good. Then, shoe it to us Ms. Carla. We have the right to demand for it.

More recently, The New York Times (NYT) reported that the brother of current Afghan President Hamid Karzai had actually been on the payroll of the CIA for at least eight years prior to this information going public in 2009. Ahmed Wali Karzai was a crucial player in reinstating the country’s opium drug trade, known as Golden Crescent, and the CIA had been financing the endeavor behind the scenes. But the mainstream media has been peddling a different story to the American public. FOX News, for instance, aired a propaganda piece back in 2010 claiming that military personnel are having to protect the Afghan poppy fields, rather than destroy them, in order to keep the locals happy and to avoid a potential “security risk” and FOX News reporter Geraldo Rivera can be heard blatantly lying about poppy farmers being financially supported by the Taliban, rather than the CIA and other foreign interests. So while tens of thousands of Americans continue to be harmed or killed every year by overdoses from drugs originating from this illicit opium trade, and while cultivation of innocuous crops like marijuana and hemp remains illegal in the US, the American military is actively guarding the very poppy fields in Afghanistan that fuel the global drug trade. 

Trojan Horse

If the war as in love, all good, then this lie can be forgiven. When the Trojan Paris ran off with Helen, the wife of the king of Sparta, war broke out. It raged for 10 long years, when the Trojans believe that finally defeated the Greeks. However, they knew little, because the Greeks had prepared them for another trick.

The Greeks built a huge wooden horse with a hollow belly, which hid the warriors. After the Greeks, convinced his enemies that it is a peace gift, the Trojans gladly accepted it and “led” the horse in his fortified city. At night, when the Trojans were asleep, the Greeks emerged from his hiding place and attacked and defeated.

This was undoubtedly one of the largest and most successful methods known to history, unless of course it’s true. Homer mentions a horse in the “Iliad,” Virgil said about him in the “Aeneid.” Evidence suggests that Troy actually existed, that gives some certainty tales of Homer, and scientists have long examined how historically accurate are some of the details of his stories. According to one version, the historian Michael Wood (Michael Wood), a Trojan horse just used as a battering ram to enter the city.

 
This lie is a classic scenario in order to please the critics. This man was an artist, but felt undervalued. He thought he could do the trick for what experts art recognized him as a genius.

In the early 20th century, scientists have argued about whether the series of works depicting biblical scenes, was written by the great artist Jan Vermeer Netherlands. Van Meegeren immediately took the opportunity and went to work, forging one of those controversial paintings titled “Disciples at Emmaus.” With the relentless attention to detail, he forged a crack and skillfully ages his creation. He deliberately played on the confirmation bias of critics, who wanted to believe that Vermeer painted these pictures. And it worked: experts praised the picture, when they were authentic, and van Meegeren, meanwhile, began selling more and more counterfeit works of art. However, greed, perhaps, surpassed his desire to praise, so he decided not to impersonate.

Nevertheless, van Meegeren, who worked in the 1930s and 40s made a grave mistake. He sold one of his paintings a prominent member of the Nazi party in Germany. After the war the Allies found him a conspirator, who are selling “national heritage” to the enemy. In this regard, he had to reveal his secret, in order to remain at liberty. In order to prove that the painting sold to a German, was not a national treasure, he has forged yet another masterpiece in the presence of the authorities.

He received a sentence is easy enough, for a period of one year, but two months after the trial, he died of a heart attack.

The scheme of Bernie Madoff

When Bernie Madoff (Bernie Madoff) admitted that his investment firm was “one big lie,” he’s a little slukavil. In 2008, he described how the possession of 50 billion dollars of investors who entrusted him with their savings. Madoff used a Ponzi scheme to keep afloat his company over 10 years.

This pattern of fraud is named after Charles Ponzi (Charles Ponzi), who used similar tricks in the early 20th century. The system worked as follows: schemer promised investors high returns, but instead of investing money, he leaves a part of their own, with the remainder used to repay the debt to other investors.

Madoff did not invent this lie, he modified it slightly. First, he managed to extract a record amount of money, following the scheme. He also managed to turn the circuit record amount of time. Typically, these scam quickly came to an end, because it always had to find more and more investors. Furthermore, this lies especially shocking, because Madoff was well respected and authoritative expert in the financial sector. Compare it to 

False Anastasia Anna Anderson

With the onslaught of the Russian Revolution, the existence of the royal family sickened policy of the Bolsheviks. In 1918 they destroyed the royal Romanov family – Tsar Nicholas II, his wife, son and four daughters, with a view to the future, none of the heirs has revived public rallies in support and in any way claim to power.

Soon, rumors surfaced that some members of the royal family escaped and survived. As expected, the appearance of “one of them” did not take long to wait. Anna Anderson (Anna Anderson) was the most famous of all the false Anastasia. In 1920, Anderson was hospitalized after a suicide attempt, coming to himself, she admitted that she was the Princess Anastasia, the youngest daughter of the royal family. She stood out among the likes fake princesses that was very similar to the real Anastasia, she knew many details about the family and life at court.

Despite the fact that a very small number of relatives and friends who knew Anastasia believed Anderson, the majority still considered her a liar. In 1927, former roommate said her name was Francis Shankovska (Franziska Schanzkowska), but no Anna, and, of course, not Anastasia. But that did not stop Anderson, she continued to pretend to be Anastasia, in an attempt to cash in on it. In the end it just got entangled in legal proceedings that spanned decades, however, has not retracted his words, until his death in 1984. Many years later, the autopsy that was the royal family’s remains, DNA analysis has confirmed that she had lied. In 2009, experts have finally confirmed that all the remains were found, and that no member of the royal family did not escape punishment in 1918.

Titus Oates plot (Titus Oates) to assassinate Charles II

By the time Titus Oates conspiracy conceived, he had already acquired a reputation tarnished by deceit and trickery part. He was expelled from several of the best schools in England, as well as teams from the Navy. Oates was even convicted for perjury, but escaped imprisonment. However, his biggest lie was yet to come.

Grown Anabaptist preacher, and being a Protestant, Oates came to Cambridge to study Anglican mandate. After the commission of the offense, he was expelled, but was rotated in Catholic circles, with no showing off the best of his education and his pretending. With the support of his fellow anti-Catholic Tonga Yisrael (Israel Tonge), he got on “enemy territory”, entered the Catholic seminary. In fact, he enrolled at the two seminaries, but he was kicked out of both. But is not that important. By this time he has collected enough inside information and names to strike.

In 1678, Oates himself came up and allegedly exposed himself and conspiracy, according to which the Jesuits had planned the murder of King Charles II. The idea was that they wanted to replace his brother Charles Catholic James. Thereafter, for about three years, the panic did not abate, wandered everywhere anti-Catholic sentiment, and were executed 35 people.

Once in 1685, Charles died, James became the ruler and gave Oates to court for libel. Oates was convicted, is tied to the pillory, and sentenced to imprisonment. He had time to spend in jail only a few years when in 1688 on a wave of revolution in England. James was dismissed, but Oates was pardoned, and even appointed him to retire.

Piltdown man

After Charles Darwin published his revolutionary work “On the Origin of Species” in 1859, scientists scrambled to find fossil evidence of extinct human ancestors. They sought to find a so-called “missing links” in order to fill existing gaps in the time in the timeline of human evolution. While the archaeologist Charles Dawson (Charles Dawson) believed he had found the missing link is the most in 1910, he actually came across one of the biggest hoaxes in history.

The discovery was Piltdown man. Then in the career of Piltdown (Piltdown) in Sussex (England) were found in the skull and jaw with molars. Dawson brought his discovery known paleontologist Arthur Smith Woodward (Arthur Smith Woodward), who spoke about the authenticity of the remains until his death. Although this discovery and has become known throughout the world, however, a lie which underpinned the whole, a little pop up. In subsequent decades, other major discoveries have proved that Piltdown man did not fit into the history of human evolution. In 1950, tests showed that the skull of a total of about 600 years, and the jaw, apparently, belonged to an orangutan.

Some knowledgeable people all skilfully furnished.

The scientific world has been deceived. But who was behind all of this fraud? There were many suspects, including himself and Dawson. Today, most experts are inclined to believe that it was Martin Hinton (Martin Hinton), an employee of the museum, who was present at the discovery of the remains.

The Dreyfus

Similarly, a conspiracy invented by Titus Oates, the scandal has been built on lies, which is significantly influenced by national politics, and hatred generated by this lie, living for a long period of time. Alfred Dreyfus (Alfred Dreyfus) was a Jewish French army officer in the late 19th century, when he was accused of treason: selling military secrets to Germany.

After the publicity of his case, the government sentenced him to life imprisonment on the island of Devils, and anti-Semitic groups have used his personality as an example of anti-state attitude of the Jews. Nevertheless, still suspect that incriminating letters were actually fake, but the real culprit is a Major Esterhazy (Maj. Esterhazy). When the French authorities decided to hush up the matter, the writer Emile Zola accused the army in covering criminal.

The result was a scandal among the supporters of Dreyfus, who want to reopen the case, and his opponents. Moreover, both sides said little about the guilt or innocence of Dreyfus, it was more about principles. During the 12-year conflict, many anti-Semitic group disbanded, and the political priorities have changed.

After Maj. Hubert Joseph Henry (Hubert Joseph Henry) was admitted to a key case file and committed suicide, the newly elected cabinet, finally re-opened the case. The court found Dreyfus guilty again, but later he received a pardon from the president. A few years later, the civil appellate court found Dreyfus guilty, he continued his career in the army and fought with honor in World War II. Meanwhile, the scandal has changed the face of French politics.

Clinton and Lewinsky case

In January 1998, journalist Matt Drudge (Matt Drudge) reported the sensational news, which proved to be true. In the U.S. President, Bill Clinton had an affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. So far, all based only on suspicion, Clinton publicly denied the allegations, and he lied under oath and perjured, that was the basis for impeachment.

And the truth came to light as follows. Paul Jones (Paula Jones) was an ordinary member of the firm in Arkansas, when then-Governor Bill Clinton allegedly molested her. She later sued him in court for sexual harassment. In an attempt to prove the guilt of lawyers Clinton, they reached the former White House secretary and confidant of Lewinsky Linda Tripp (Linda Tripp). Tripp has been recorded telephone conversations with Monica, where she spoke about her affair with Clinton. The lawyers then pursued Clinton, asking many questions, and eventually forced him to tell the truth under oath, that he naturally did not.

During the publicity of the case, the court was summoned to the prosecutor Kenneth Starr (Kenneth Starr), and Clinton finally confessed to everything. Based on the report of Starr, the House of Representatives voted to impeach Clinton, not only because of the perjury, but also because of obstruction of justice. Despite the scandal, Clinton’s ratings among the American public is quite high at present. Later, the Senate acquitted him of charges. However, in the eyes of many Americans, his reputation remains tarnished.

Watergate scandal

In the two decades before the scandal, Clinton – Lewinsky, another American president fell into a web of lies, and this story had on the country devastating.

In the summer, shortly before the successful re-election of President Richard Nixon’s second term, were caught five people who broke the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, who was in the hotel “Watergate.” When next year came to light details of the case, it became clear that officials close to Nixon, ordered the establishment of listening equipment there. Then the question arose about whether Nixon knew about the case, whether covered or their own planned this thing.

In response to the suspicions, showed in his address, Nixon claimed that he knew nothing, and that he did not cheat. However, this lie has returned. When it became clear that private conversations the White House, too, is written, the investigation committee released the tape. The refusal of Nixon on the basis of “executive privilege” to publicize the contents of conversation brought the case before the U.S. Supreme Court, which decided to disclose the content of conversations.

As a result, it was discovered that Nixon knew more about business than he spoke. After initiation of impeachment, Nixon resigned. This scandal has left an indelible mark on American politics and helped to the presidency a few years later, to put it mildly, not very successful man Jimmy Carter.

Big Lie: Nazi propaganda

By that time, as in the 1930s in Germany originated Nazism, anti-Semitism is nothing new. Even then, the Jews suffered from the long history of persecution and violation of their rights. And even though the Nazis perpetuated his theory, this time lie had a devastating impact. As ever, anti-Semitism began to emerge in the broad national policy, which called to remove the Jews from the face of the earth.

To achieve this goal, Adolf Hitler and his propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels (Joseph Goebbels) launched a massive campaign to convince the German people that the Jews – it’s enemies. Having complete control over the press, they blamed the Jews for all Germany’s problems, including a defeat in the First World War. They also claimed that in the Middle Ages Jews were engaged in ritual murder of Christian children and used their blood for the preparation of bread which is eaten at Easter.

Exposing the Jewish nation as a scapegoat, Hitler and his cronies organized a “big lie”. This theory says that regardless of the scale lies, people will believe it if it is repeated many times. Hitler said that all people are talking small lie, but the colossal few dare. Due to the fact that the big lie seems so unreal, people probably will believe it. So reasoned Hitler.

This theory helps us understand why, throughout history, there were so many lies.

How can this be? The explanation is actually simple. A good starting place are the techniques used by Lee Atwater in the Bush-Dukakis campaign. Atwater viewed our national politics as a zero-sum game: I win by making you lose and policy consequences be damned. That brought us Dukakis sitting in the tank and the infamous Willie Horton ad. The major glitch in those years was when Bush I caved to economic reality and went back on his phony pledge of “no new taxes.” Bush lost to Bill Clinton and ever since then, the GOP (whom I refer to today at the TeaPublicans) have stuck to a very simple game plan.

Here it is: The guiding principle is that you play to feelings not reason, since feelings cannot be subject to facts. You accomplish this with three simple steps:
1) Vilify Your Enemy;
2) Obfuscate the Simple; and
3) Project Your Negatives on Your Enemy.

A quick example is our current incoherent public debate about raising the debt ceiling.
1) Vilify Your Enemy: Labeling those who advocate government intervention to create jobs as Socialists, Communists, and Fascists (all at the same time).
2) Obfuscate The Simple: Conflate raising the debt ceiling with a massive increase in Government Spending so the average person thinks we can solve our problems by having the U.S. Government default on its fiduciary obligations.
3. Project Your Negatives on Your Enemy: Blame Obama and the Dems for the current problems when they in fact stem primarily from eight years of Bush II mismanagement, abetted by Congressional Republicans, culminating in the burst housing bubble and the Bush Bank Bailout.

When you try to explain to folks that that the Teapublicans are lying hypocrites, then you are accused of being mean and nasty and the whole process starts all over. Even the President and the Democratic leadership have fallen for this ruse, while the GOP, who got us in this mess in the first place, gain political victories at the expense of sane, rationale public policy. And it doesn’t help that most media engage in false equivalence (for example, both parties do it), when it is clear that the GOP have a singular goal: take control of all branches of government while their policies are opposed by a majority of the public.

These tactics are not new. In the U.S. they have been used mostly in elections in the past; now they are used legislatively. They are being used in a disciplined manner by one major political party and their allies at Faux News and the Tea Party Express.

If you think I am wrong, I have a suggestion: In future, when you hear the President or a major Dem leader offer a policy recommendation, apply the three principles outlined above and I guarantee they are an infallible predictor of the GOP talking points that you will hear a few hours later. Go ahead. Try it!

It also important to note that these tactics are not new by any means. For better or worse, Martin Luther, Samuel Adams, Vladimir Lenin, and Joseph Goebbels wrote this playbook. Now it’s John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell, Roger Ailes, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity marching at the forefront of our willing descent into madness.

Nazi Swing Kids?!

Hello everyone and welcome to moviereviews(.com)! Its Monday and everyone knows what that means… a new review! This week I decided to go with a random movie that had relevance to a historical event that I randomly selected off of importanthistoricalevents(.com). For the historical event I selected the Nazi Reign over Germany, and this weeks movie is ‘Swing Kids’. The movie was filmed in 1993 and directed by Thomas Carter. Now before we get started on the review lets make sure you understand the basics… The movie takes place in Germany prior to WWII when the Nazi party was beginning to clamp down by enforcing their control and presence. Now just about every has heard of the holocaust and the tragedy that took place. But at the time in the movie Jew’s were not being solutionized but rather publically discriminated against as a bad peoples. Of course there were others that were also seen unfavorable in the eyes of the Nazi’s, but the Jew’s were the main focus of their later onslaught. The main characters in this review are Peter Muller (Robert Sean Leonard), Thomas Berger (Christian Bale), Arvid (Frank Whaley).

How about we get this show on the road? Lay down, close your eyes and take a snooze because this was one of the slowest movies I have ever watched. Well to be completely honest it wasn’t that bad but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is a gun blazing kung fu action fan.  

The wealthy and the corporations also get some of the blame. Although we continue to vote “yes” to Wall St. and the corporations everyday, by working for them, taking our paychecks, and promptly giving our paychecks right back to them.

One group that does not usually get much of the blame is THE PEOPLE. Especially the people as a WHOLE. People on the left blame the “teabaggers”, and people on the right blame the “socialists” and people who don’t vote blame all the people who do.

We, the people, hate to be blamed. Politicians know this. Politicians are always talking about what great people we are; that we’re so hard working, so honest, so morally sound, and so smart.

Really? Ever been to Wal Mart? ANY Wal Mart?

I say that we, the people suck.

Why? Because most of us are either moronic, or apathetic, and many of us, probably the majority of us-are both. Even if you’re like me, and like to tell yourself you are neither, chances are you still are moronic and apathetic to some extent. You may know how much of a joke our politicians are, but you still voted for one of them because the other one was worse. You may know how big business is monopolizing the entire world, along with our government, at an alarming rate, but when it comes down to it, you’re too lazy or cheap to give your money to a local business. It’s just too EASY to give it to the corporations.

Oh, but don’t let me forget all the assholes who sit on their high horses because they know politics is all a bunch of bullshit, and so they protest, by NOT voting. That’s right-show the man you won’t tolerate his lies-by taking yourself out of the democratic process entirely. I’m sure eventually the GOP will see how disenchanted you are, and how smart you are, and say “Geez guys, people are getting so mad they don’t even believe in voting anymore. Maybe we should stop hustling our base of morons and start appealing to these non-voters with reason and logic.”

I’m also sure the money-worshiping sociopaths on Wall St and corporate board rooms will see how frustrated you are by the process, and quit corrupting our democracy by buying up politicians who pretend to serve regular Americans.

No, actually they won’t. They’ll just say “Look, there’s another person we have taken out of the equation. Another non voter who we don’t have to think about, at all. Maybe if we keep doing what we’re doing, we can take EVERY smart voter out of the booth, and have NOTHING but morons left in them.”

Even with so much pessimism cast over this country like so many ominous clouds, we still sometimes talk as if we can solve our problems.

Well, we are going to have to have a philosophical revolution to do that. We are going to need to think completely differently.

We need to reject corporate America entirely. Every Wal Mart in this country represents several small businesses that normal people used to own. Every McDonald’s, Denny’s, and Red Lobster represents restaurants that normal people could own, but don’t. No, ONE entity owns all those things, and everyone who operates them makes barely more than minimum wage. And we don’t see this as part of the problem. It’s not even part of the discussion.

On top of this first offense of turning functional capitalism into all out monopolization, these private interests control our government too. See, the bullshit rhetoric in the campaigns is just to get our votes. those aren’t promises, and in some cases they aren’t even actual beliefs held by the person espousing them. What does get you promises from politicians-are giant campaign donations, which the average American couldn’t afford even he saved his annual salary for 5 years in a row.

BUT, none of this is being discussed. Because the corporations own our government, and our media, so there is no way they will ever even imply that THEY are part of the problem.

Instead, we talk about these superficial problems, and these superficial solutions. We talk about the recession as though it was just an act of God almost. We talk about the economy as if it is as unpredictable as nature. We even call the rich “the job creators”. The fact is that while the average American is trained to see issues like this from a primitive, powerless, mortal lens, there are people in the financial sector who understand it as a science, with actual causes and effects.

They want us to feel like it’s too complicated for us to understand. That it is too big for us to understand. But is it really? Is it hard to understand that money is the most important thing in our time, and that all over the world, including our own country, people are KILLED over money?

If people kill each other over money, would they also LIE to us to get money? I mean, we’re all familiar with scams right?

So what if you’re amongst the wealthiest, most powerful people in the country, you have a lot of money, you use it to get even more power and wealth, and you want to inhibit all your competition, and silence/appease all dissidents? What do you do?

You do exactly what they are doing now. You buy up the politicians to fight for you on two fronts-to fight a public relations war by telling gullible Americans they should blame anyone but YOU for what you have caused, and to legislate entirely on your behalf, to stifle and overwhelm smaller businesses with taxes and regulations that are very hard for them to pay, but very easy for you to pay.

That’s just your employees in the government. You also have your employees in the media fighting the same public relations war as your politicians. Now, we SAY we hate the government and the media, but isn’t it funny how as long as the media and the politicians keep giving us one narrative, we will dismiss any other narrative as completely irrational and crazy?

This is how things are DONE. This is why we are where we are, and why we won’t be moving forward anytime soon. We are living in an age of economic imperialism, and we are not even familiar with the concept of economic imperialism yet. We still think we live in an age where you go invade countries and conquer people and rule with governments.

No, we live in an age where you build giant businesses, take all the profits, and pay all your labor force as little as possible. If you can avoid hiring Americans, you do. If you MUST hire Americans, so that they can sell your products to other Americans (still the best consumers in the world), then you pay them minimum wage, or barely a little more.

You give them a car, an Ipad, a computer with the internet, a flatscreen TV, all the liquor they can afford and you bombard them with meaningless news about celebrities and sports.

And it works. Because we, the people, are apathetic and moronic. 

People today often question how a well educated population, such as the Germans during World War II, could have ever fallen victim to such radical concepts as Hitler preached, and many are bewildered at how they simply bowed down and obeyed such evil orders. Through the use of propaganda in the press, radio, and films, Hitler was capable of seizing power in Germany, and manipulating his people into adhering to some of mankind’s most cruel deeds. Hitler, with propaganda as his weapon, targeted the depressed and hopeless population Germany was home to, and his hateful ideals spread like wildfire throughout the country. By using propaganda to blame several “internal”, as well as “external” factors for all of Germany’s problems, Hitler was able to amass widespread support for his actions, and gain supreme authority in Germany. Moreover, using propaganda, Hitler effectively brainwashed millions of people into allowing the torture and extermination of millions of others on the simple basis of their religion, race, or other prejudice. When sentiment favoring the war began to decline due to the relentless British bombings on Germany, Hitler used propaganda to keep civilian morale up by promising “Vergeltung”, or retaliation. Much of the German propaganda in the two last years of the war was centered on this theme of an imminent wide scale attack that would change the course of the war, and lead Germany to victory.

     Hitler and the Nazi party used various types of media such as poster, the press, radio, and films to communicate their propaganda to as large a number of people as they could. One of the most popular systems for propaganda was posters and leaflets. Posters would be put up throughout Germany and often containing very harsh imagery and language. This imagery often dehumanized the party’s enemies. This had a huge effect in people’s minds, who soon thought of Jews as nothing more than vermin. Moreover, many posters spread lies about, and created fear in the German’s minds as to their country’s future. These always attacked a certain people or ideal, pointing to the Nazis as the solution to all of Germany’s problems. One of Hans Schweitzer’s (a Nazi artist) posters says “The Jew: The inciter of war, the prolonger of war” (1943). An image of a Jew hovers above it, appearing as an evil giant force inciting others to fight for him. Such posters would also be reduced to smaller sized leaflets that could be distributed to the crowds. This had a very big impact not only on Germans but also on the targeted people, because of the high rate at which these were distributed, and the public contexts in which they were often read, truly humiliated them. Many of these propaganda posters would also be copied into newspapers advocating for various kinds of change. Likewise, the press was under the full control of the government, and the current news was always censored. German defeats were often ignored, or presented as victories. Propaganda against minorities thrived, and countless false articles were written as to their responsibility in diverse German matters. Another very important approach Hitler took to spread his propaganda was the use of the radio. This ensured that anyone throughout Germany could listen to his vivid and tremendously rousing speeches. The exact tone of the voice, emphasis put on words, and pauses were fully replicated. Initially, this allowed him to further the Nazi movement, but eventually as he became the leader of Germany; his speeches were heard by all Germans and sometimes in other countries as well. The Nazi party once in power ensured the wide and cheap distribution of the “Volksempfanger”, or “people’s radio”. This immensely increased the number of people who listened to the radio, and allowed lower class Germans to purchase one. Since the Nazis had complete control over what was broadcasted, they lied to the public and spread their extreme ideals without any opposition being able to openly defy them. This however did have a negative side; German censorship would be breached. Although it was made illegal, many Germans listened to British and other allied news stations to see how their country was really faring in the war. Radio, however, provided instant news, an indispensable factor causing it to become the Reich’s primary method of rapidly sending messages to the general population. Another very important system the Nazis used towards their propaganda campaigns was films. These were quite new, and created a deep illusion among the people. Films such as “Triumph des Willens” depicted Nazi propaganda at its finest. The Nazi party sent its strong messages, coupled with inspirational music and epic shots. This created awe in the people, who quickly adopted Nazi principles. Likewise, films such as “The Eternal Jew”, portrayed Jews as rats, and its documentary style production led people to believe it was completely accurate. Such merciless propaganda inevitably led to a sharp increase in hatred and violence against minorities. When people were so blatantly dehumanized, others lost their human compassion towards them, removing any guilt associated with their unfair treatment.

     Propaganda played a crucial role in Hitler’s extremely quick rise to power in Germany as well as his ability to prepare Germany for such a significant war. Hitler had always been impressed by the use of allied propaganda in World War I, and the huge effect it had in determining the outcome of the war. He had fought as a German soldier during this war, and suffered through the pain of being dehumanized by the enemy. This allowed him to understand the true power of propaganda in manipulating people into doing things they would otherwise never do. In 1930, Adolf Hitler and the Nazis waged an all-out campaign for the control of Germany. Hitler worked hard for his campaign to succeed, often delivering many important speeches in short periods of time, and going to countless political rallies throughout Germany. During his wanderings about Germany, Hitler propagated messages of a brighter future for his country, while blaming Germany’s current problems on various “internal factors”. Hitler viewed the financial depression occurring in the country as a means to easily manipulate his people. He thought it simplest to blame his countries problems on factors that weren’t related to the government, his propaganda often focusing on the country’s economic problems. In April 1930, Hitler appointed Joseph Goebbels as head of Nazi party propaganda. Goebbels’ crucial position in the party, allowed him to be extremely influential to the Nazi’s successful campaign. On his first year in this position, he effectively organized hundreds of speeches, thousands of rallies, and coordinated mass Nazi propaganda aimed not only to the German audience, but to other countries citizens as well. This led to a growing number of Nazi and fascist sympathizers even outside of Germany. Goebbels’ greatest accomplishment in Hitler’s campaign was his strategy to focus on acquiring votes from people who lived in small towns, such as farmers and other lower class individuals. Many of these people were less educated than average Germans, and had felt the strongest repercussions of Germany’s failure during World War One. This lower class population immediately absorbed Nazi propaganda messages as the ultimate truth, leading to a large increase in supporters and votes for the Nazi party. Between 1931 and 1933, efforts to increase the party’s success were redoubled. More propaganda defending Nazi ideals was used, and a much grander audience was targeted. With the rise of the Nazi party, Hitler became part of the coalition government in 1933. In 1934, when the German president Paul Von Hindenburg died, Hitler was his lawful successor.  As he became the leader of Germany, Hitler’s Propaganda reached incredible levels. He immediately seized the potential of his authority to influence audiences on an enormous scale, much larger than ever before. In the years leading up to the war, Hitler used propaganda to ready the German people both emotionally and intellectually for what was to come. His messages grew more hateful towards surrounding countries, and he often blamed these “external factors” for the difficult economic times faced by Germany. They were often depicted as nothing more than merciless evildoers concerned only in profiting from Germany’s losses. He used Germany’s precarious situation, and the WWI peace agreement as evidence of their neighboring countries abuse and oppression onto them. Furthermore, Hitler increasingly focused his propaganda on other “internal factors”, threats he believed to be much closer to home. He blamed the corruption of Germany and the poor conditions of life everyone was exposed to on various minority groups such as the Jews and gypsies. The fact that the official government was spreading such messages created a great sense of credibility in people’s minds. Germans, who were constantly bombarded by such propaganda, gradually grew more accepting of their leaders’ views, and began to develop a strong hate for those beleaguered by their government. Ultimately, this helped ease the German people’s transition into war, and carelessness towards the atrocities to come.

     Hitler used propaganda to manipulate millions of Germans into allowing him to commit great atrocities towards other human beings. Although many of these horrendous acts were conducted on the basis of religion, race, or political belief, there was much more depth to the issue from German’s perspectives. The propaganda Hitler spread created a strong revulsion for different groups based on the “threats” they were associated with. For example, the Nazi’s successfully brainwashed their citizens into thinking that the Jews were the cause of many of their problems and one of the main issues blocking Germany from wealth and prosperity. In many German’s eyes, the Jews were viewed as having started the conflict between them, and Germans were just solving it by expelling the intruders. Hitler was only capable of introducing this idea through repeated and increasingly hateful propaganda. Anti-Semitic documentaries such as “The Eternal Jew” described Jews as “the vermin of the human race”, its opening scene showing a pack of rats running out of the sewer. With such propaganda, anti-Semitic feelings in Germany gradually grew, and people gladly went along with Hitler’s increasingly stringent regulations on Jews. Jews, who were initially forced to sow a yellow star onto their clothes, were often mocked or even assaulted by the general public. This further increased their segregation and caused others to view them as a people apart. German newspapers which were under the government’s control were one of the primary sources of anti-Semitic propaganda. One newspaper “Der Sturmer” brought back blood libels, telling Germans to be careful in the weeks nearing Passover, because “Jews need the blood of a Christian child, maybe, to mix with their matzah.” This was later repeated by churches who would warn their constituents of the dangers the Jews posed. The effect of these sources, viewed as highly reliable, transmitting such propaganda was enormous. When people were told by their religious leader, one of the people they held in highest regard, that Jews were evil, they tended to believe it. Soon, even people who had been good friends with Jews in the past viewed them as evildoers they would be better off if they had never met. Hitler took his propaganda a step further with his application of “Pseudo Science”, or fake science. This showed the Aryan race as superior to all others, and blondes with blue eyes were at the top of the list. Hitler spread this belief around Germany, arguing that other races weren’t as evolved and where a threat to the German Aryan white race. These irrational statements were backed by fake scientific research and experiments that came to absurd conclusions. The Nazis further used propaganda and lies to cover up their killings as part of “the final solution”, a plan to exterminate as many Jews as possible in as little time as possible. The propaganda attempted to hide the existence of death camps and to minimize the horrors of concentration camps. Jews were told that they were being relocated, and would be better off were they were going. Nazis also tried to cover up the true conditions that existed in these camps during planned Red Cross visits, portraying the camps as a comfortable place to live. These assessments were then communicated throughout the country as evidence that the government was treating their prisoners well. Despite all of this false propaganda, the grand majority of Germans were aware of the mass killings conducted by their government. However, the German people either consented to “the final solution”, or were utterly insensitive to it. The main reason for this was all the previous propaganda that had created such strong feelings of hate towards the minorities being executed.  Jews had been dehumanized in so many ways that most Germans didn’t really perceive them as people anymore. This made it considerably simpler for them to stand by idly as masses were being executed.

     Propaganda was also particularly important for keeping civilian morale up when the war began to turn against Germany’s favor. Beginning in 1942, German morale started to decline due to the increase in bombardments of German cities, and the rise in civilian deaths. To further compliment this, the German military was unable to strike back the enemies anywhere near as severely as they were being hurt. Because of this increasing sentiment of failure inside the German populace, the government was forced to bring hope back to the people. From this started “Vergetltung”, and one of the largest Nazi propaganda campaigns. The basic idea was that sooner or later, Germany would take its revenge on the British. Initially, most Germans believed this would come in the form of resuming previous bombing of British cities, which the Luftwaffe couldn’t currently complete because of their focus on Russia. However, as time passed, people’s expectations gradually grew. By 1943, the word “Vergetlung” began carrying a lot more weight on all Germans minds. Its significance had taken on whole new meaning. With the German army still tied up in the east, and British further stepping up their bombings on German civilians, the idea of retribution became essential. Throughout the war, the Germany only dropped 2240 tons of bombs over Britain, while they were bombarded by over 200000 tons. Goebbels in a speech in Berlin said “One day the hour of retribution will come.” From then on, efforts of propaganda were redoubled. These often suggested that Germany would strike back in a way never before seen, and that the destruction caused would be immense. Due to the emphasis they had put on this propaganda campaign to lift civilian moral, Nazi leaders knew there would be negative repercussions when the illusion disappeared. The majority of Germans expected the government to carry out their plan by the end of the year; yet Nazi leadership grew increasingly uneasy, knowing this would be impossible. They soon began cutting propaganda, realizing the huge detrimental effect it could have when used mistakenly. By July of 1943, the press was entirely forbidden of speaking of the subject unless it was mentioned in a political speech. They were also told to focus on the minimal air raids the Luftwaffe was still conducting on Britain. This did nothing to appease the crowds who continued to expect the moment they would get revenge for all their loved ones who had died. In December on 1943, the Nazis knew they had to take action before they lost political support. They once again resumed intense bombing in Britain. The propaganda accompanying this was vastly exaggerated, and inaccurate statements were made regarding the destruction of Britain. The German press was also censored and stopped from printing the death tolls and other statistics of British air raids, so that these could no longer be compared with German ones, which were still much less effective. With the rise in the success of the allies, by 1944 most Germans had ceased to believe in this ideological concept of retaliation and understood nothing could change the course of the war.

     Through his effective use of propaganda through different media means, Adolf Hitler was able to exercise a complete control over his people. His manipulative techniques, combined with the poor economic situation in Germany, allowed him to take advantage of his population, and lead them into their greatest mistake ever to be made. Hitler used propaganda to spread his hate onto the weak, and those that could easily be blamed. By constantly bombarding his people with lies and hatred, he was able to brainwash a normal, well-educated society, into a vile, cruel people who allowed the execution of millions. As Hitler gained more power and trust from his people, he abused his authority by creating a totalitarian state in which people had no freedoms or rights, and were efficiently blinded by their governments’ lies. Propaganda was one of the greatest influences on Germany in WWII, and its impacts were felt many years later. The best we can do is to consider the mistakes the German people made, in an effort to learn from them. It is scary that something this destructive could happen in the 20th century, along with so many great discoveries were being made. This once again serves as a reminder that we should never put too much power in government, and ensure we are always treated fairly. We as human being on this planet have a duty to prevent such terrible things as resulted from this propaganda from ever happening again.

We all know of the President’s father’s Kenyan Muslim roots. Some know that the American taxpayers money is supposedly going to be used to roll out sharia law in Kenya.  Some say he is a “closet Muslim,” but is he?  One point made in the first video is that Hammas is a terrorist organisation.  America is supposed to be fighting a war against terrorism.  Israel is a democracy yet there is a boycott on Israeli products.  Why?  Israel is defending itself against daily bombings.  If the terrorist attacks by Hammas stopped there would be peace.  If Israel stopped defending itself the Palestinians would take over the country, which is what they want.  Think about it.  Another point:  Remember 9/11.  Pause and reflect on that and ask yourself:  Why would or should the President support Hammas? 

Are all this person’s videos just anti-Obama propaganda?  I have to stress at this point that I am married to an African Muslim and know through that, that not all Muslims are radical.  My husband was as horrified as me when he heard and saw the events of 9/11 and the deaths and destruction caused at the twin towers.  His reaction was the same as mine.  We both couldn’t believe it.  Awful!  A big shock.  I remember watching the news footage and thinking “Is this for real?” 

I truly wish I knew more about American politics.  I do agree that antisemitism is at the root of pro-Palestinian thinking, since I can never get my head around why anyone would be anti-Israel when it is a democracy protecting itself against attack.  The Fox News clips on the third video are interesting and thought provoking though, but are they one sided?  Does Fox News also send out messages which tell another side of the story, or is it biased reporting?  Let me know. 

Who is the world’s number one terrorist?  The guy on this clip names President Obama.  Get real!  What part of “he’s not a member of a terrorist organisation” doesn’t he get?  He names the nation of Israel “not black Israel, white Israel” as second.  A few words on that one:  black Jews from Ethiopia, said to be the descendants of Noah through Cush, and once called Cushites, are making aliyah, that is – emigrating to Israel to the roots of their faith and where they think of as their true home land.  They are at as big a risk of being killed by terrorist attacks on Israel as any other Israeli.  The nation of Israel are not terrorists.  They’re people defending their country.

What is really going on between Odinga and Obama?  Is Obama a nominal Christian or a believing Muslim?  How could we tell?

Radical Muslims do hate the “infidel” America, but not all Muslims are radical. 

Yes, Obama does write about and praise Malcolm X in his book Dreams from my Father.  I’ve read it for myself.  Malcolm X was imprisoned for 10 years for criminal activities and it was when he was in jail that he became a member of The Nation of Islam.  In 1952 he was back in the community and became its leader and spokesman.   He taught black supremacy and advocated the separation on black and white Americans.  On the topic of the assassination of President Kennedy he said it was a case of “chickens coming home to roost.”  He resigned from the movement a year later, in 1964. He was assassinated in 1956 when speaking at a meeting of the Organization of Afro-American Unity.  Ironically, the three arrested in connection with this were Nation of Islam members.  Although a Sunni Muslim, Malcolm X was buried from the Church of God in Christ which is in Harlem.

The maker of these videos says that his church is “more like a cauldron of hate” than a Christian church.  Rev Wright of Trinity Church sounds like he’s preaching politics in the clips on here.  What do we know about the man and his church? 

Listen to this one and find out more about Rev Wright.  Hate speech from his pulpit.  He even says Jesus was a black man.  What the heck is this man teaching his people?  Jewish Israelis are not black and Jesus was born of a Jewish mother, not a black lady. 

If this guy “loves his enemies” where is all that hate speech coming from?  He has retired now and I read that the President has left that church, and no wonder.  It would not be good for his profile and popularity, but what does he believe?  When Rev Wright made a few media appearances, speaking at NAACP and at the National Press Club, this resulted in President Obama resigning as a member of Trinity Church, speaking publicly about it, saying that he was “saddened” by the preacher’s behaviour.  How he sat and listened to a man like this is beyond me.  I have watched videos of what he preached and his interviews on television and he attacked the American government and members of it so often that it’s bordering on sedition.  For instance, in a sermon called “Confusing God and Government” he stated that the “government lied about their belief that all men were created equal. The truth is they believed that all white men were created equal.”  Really racist, isn’t it?  This man who claimed to love his enemies and to be a man of God preached so much hate which is ungodly.  He continued: “The truth is they did not even believe that white women were created equal, in creation nor civilization. The government had to pass an amendment to the Constitution to get white women the vote. Then the government had to pass an equal rights amendment to get equal protection under the law for women.”  What do you think of that?  He then says: “The government still thinks a woman has no rights over her own body, and between Uncle Clarence who sexually harassed Anita Hill, and a closeted Klan court, that is a throwback to the 19th century, handpicked by Daddy Bush, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, between Clarence and that stacked court, they are about to undo Roe vs. Wade, just like they are about to un-do affirmative action. The government lied in its founding documents and the government is still lying today. Governments lie.”   He claimed that the government lied about Pearl Harbour  and the Gulf of Tonkin incident and said that the government wanted them to get into the Vietnam war. He said that the government infected African American men with syphilis in the Tuskegee experiment and that HIV was a means of genocide of people of colour.  Of the native American people he said that they put the “Indians on reservations” also claimed that “the government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘ God Bless America.’ No, no, no, not God Bless America. God damn America.”  He wanted his God to damn America?  How Christian is that?  He even claimed that America was to blame for 9/11 and this was written about in ABC News in 2008.  The President was married in this church and he and his wife had their children christened there.  This man was it’s preacher for some 20 years, churning out such hatred and racism from his pulpit.  Aaron Klein, of World Net Daily wrote on 6th June 2011 that “President Obama’s faith adviser, Eboo Patel, declared that what Obama learned from his days at Chicago’s controversial Trinity United Church will help America.”  How?  What do you make of that? 

If I had went to his church once, it would have only been once as I’d have never gone back there to listen to his warped political beliefs, his racism and ungodly behaviour.  How did the President stay there for so long, I wonder? 

Oprah Winfrey also used to attend that church and left it in 1982, though she has no Christian beliefs now, if she ever did have.  According to two sources, “Oprah Winfrey was never comfortable with the tone of Wright’s more incendiary sermons, which she knew had the power to damage her standing as America’s favorite daytime talk-show host.”  I would guess that the President resigned for the same reasons.

What on earth is a “civilian national security force” anyway?  The sinister sounding music running through these clips is suggestive.  The one who made them is beyond a doubt anti-Obama and didn’t want him elected.  That’s pretty clear.  These clearly propaganda clips do have some good points though this last one makes some pretty ridiculous ones.
