Stay out of debt for as long as you possibly can!

You ever remember what it was like to have your virginity? Most people mocked you and made fun of you for your beliefs, but then there were other people that were intrigued. Other individuals may not have even believed what you were telling them. Technically, it is not a conversation that one should ever have, but it always is, and it is always awkward. But then eventually you find the right person, and the rest is history.

Well debt is the same way. In the beginning, there is a lot of pressure to go into debt, just like there is a lot of pressure to have sex when you are still a virgin. You are made fun of, and haunted by the idea that if you just give in, you could have something that is out of your reach, just like sex; if you give in and sleep with this beautiful girl you will be happy and content. So you give in and sleep with the girl, and things do not work out exactly as they are planned.

Everyone has all of these grandiose ideas of what it is going to be like when they have sex for the first time. But as with anything else that is worth waiting for, they get tested. The average person does not make it to marriage, they end up with someone else that is not a virgin and they end up with someone else that has their own issues and their own baggage, and they do not end up with that person. The first time is always about the relationship with that other individual, it is not about sex for what it is worth; that is for people who been around for a while that do not care anymore.

Debt is the same way; the first time you go into debt, you plan on paying it off. But as it is with sex, things get complicated, you take on other financial responsibilities and before you know it you are paying more in interest than you are for the initial purchase. Some people find themselves sleeping around, some people find themselves opening up multiple revolving accounts. Some people find themselves paying interest, some people find themselves losing interest in their partner. Debt and sex are the same thing, in a lot of ways.

Then things get ugly; when you were a virgin you had a reputation that was entirely too good to be true for the average person, when you are without any debt, people hate you because you are obviously doing something right. When you have been around the block a few times you are a dirty, filthy whore. When you aren’t paying off your debt, you are a dirty, filthy whore. They even assign you a number to let other people know that you are irresponsible; there is no such number for sex, and even if there were, that number is relative, but people do not give you the benefit of the doubt.

Just as sexual situations get complicated and messy debt is the same way. Yet no one wants to hear you tell your story; no, rather you are a deadbeat, and as the rest of us did trying to finance that 72 inch color high definition TV, you got caught with your hands in the cookie jar. Now what happens when everything is priced out of reach, in order to encourage you to go into debt? Well everything seems out of reach sexually as well; you have to look good, dress sexy, have a lot of money, have an unrealistic and abnormal appetite for sex, you get the point.

Has America turned into a nation of filthy sinners that cannot pay off their debt? Are you more likely to go into debt if you are a whore monger and give it up before you are married? Who really knows; all I know is that the way in which you are perceived is the burden that you have to carry for your sins. Sure there are credit services to make you brand new, all over again? But despite how things look on the outside, you and God know what the real deal is; you dirty, filthy …

Newt Gingrich says that child labor laws are stupid. The Republican sweetheart says that poor children should be forced to work as soon as possible. Following his logic, it won't be long before he advocates child prostitution.

Gingrich Pimps Children

Republican hopeful, Newt Gingrich does not like union workers, he says that their wages are too high, and that they should be replaced by non-union children.

Newt Gingrich thinks that child labor laws are stupid, and that children should be forced to work at the earliest age possible.

The plan, as descibed by Newt Gingrich, would entail the laying off of adult workers, and the hiring of school children who could perform their tasks after school.

In his view, the children would have more incentive to go to school, if they were forced to work there. The child laborers would be encouraged to learn and perform general labor jobs, while learning the value of money.

The Republican does not offer when the children will find time to study, eat, and sleep, but they will learn the value of a dollar, and be prepared for a lifetime of menial labor.

Following the Republican’s logic, his supporters may decide that exotic dancers and prostitutes are overpaid, and that child sex laws…as well as child labor laws, are stupid.

The laws were created for a reason, to protect the children, and they are not stupid.

But supporters of Gingrich are stupid and immoral…

… and if they have their way, it could be your underage children who are prostituted for cash.

A short/condensed story about a woman lust for sex made her life rough.

Victoria Wells always was a flirty young woman, and she always had the charms to get what she wanted. It all took her to a career in sex, that didn’t really work out her way in the end! Victoria Was a high school graduate, and this is where her lust for sex started.

In her last year at school Victoria grew 4 inches in height, and her chest grew 4 times as big. Of course the boys took notice of her new assets. She was getting strong grades, but needed to put in a bit more effort to get the tops grades she needed to go to college. When her father died, she took it really hard, and her way of dealing with it was to get boys to do things for her.

The popular boys got sex from Victoria for money, and gifts. The book geeks got sex for doing her homework. Even one or two of the teachers got into the act for an extra edge to make tests easier. She soon got a reputation after a few of the boys let loose her little sexual secrets.

Not caring about how people though Victoria kept going. He driving test was a perfect pass, because the test instructor threatened to out her to the school principle. She just couldn’t stop. Her mother was a small business owner, and one day decided that her daughter needed to help out. Victoria made money form the customers to. Her mom always wondered why her business made an extras 25% in profits after Victoria started.

Victoria’s mom walked in her one day, and threw her out of the house, and vowed never to speak to her again. Victoria’s cousin took her in. Mary knew of her sexual favours, and told her that she would threw her out just as quick as her mom did if she ever found her doing what her mom found her doing. But this did not stop Victoria one bit, and she only turned up to the house when she needed to sleep, eat,or shower.

Mary followed her cousin Victoria one day, and told the cop she was having sex with that her cousin was not her cousin anymore, and if the cop, and his friends continued to prostitute Victoria she would easily enough out them as she threw Victoria out.

Victoria was now addicted to sex, and the money that came. She worked on wealthy parts of America, so she didn’t have to put up with the dark, damp motels full of roaches, and homeless people. Most week Victoria would make up to $7500.00 in cash. The wealthy wives husbands often came home to see a pair of legs up in the air, and the room smelling of sex. Some even paid extra to make Victoria go through the windows, and down the drain pipes. She was very agile anyway seeming she was a gymnast for 5 years, but gave it up after an injury. So getting down drain pipes was not a problem.

On her twenty fifth birthday Vitoria treated herself to a week off, and spent a week in really nice hotel. One of the wealthy customers had left her five thousand dollars in cash to have a threesome with him, and his other female friend. She had saved enough money up over the last seven years that she didn’t have to do what she was doing every day, but she had gotten used to it, and sex was like a drug to her. But she kept going.

Another seven years went by, and the money was mounting up, and she finally decided to slow down. Three or four times a week was enough. That way she could relax a few days a week. The sex was getting a bit more boring now she had been doing it since she was 18.

Victoria had a wealthier new client, who had heard about how good she was, and sought her out. He wanted to spend a week with her. He offered her thirty thousand dollars for the week. She accepted, and plainly told the man that if he wanted anything extra he would have to pay extra, and he offered her more if those extras came about. Four days in those extras turned up/ Other men turned up wanting to test her out. It was crazy. five men at a time all standing over her naked. Victoria by the last day was scared as the men where lining up, and she was beginning to become saw.

She tole her new clients that she needed a break, but he just laughed. The men took her one at a time. Over, and over men walked in. Victoria was now chained to the bed, and her legs left open for anyone just to penetrate her when ever they wanted. Midnight came on the last day, and the man kept to his promise. He gave her one hundred, and seventy thousand dollars, and took her to the local hospital.

The man who took Victoria to the hospital had let her know that the cops who she was with when her cousin followed her had been killed after outing the other cops for what they where doing, and as revenge she was the one who paid. He was so sorry, but he was threatened with his life if he didn’t put her through this. He was killed a week later.

Victoria stopped her prostitution, and healed up after her ordeal. She purchased a little two bedroom house outright in a small town in Alaska so nobody would know her. She even set up a little bakery. She wanted to forget about what she had been doing for so many years, and her bakery was doing well. Her life was finally calming down into a normal one that didn’t include men opening her legs.

Two years in Victoria’s bakery won an award for outstanding cakes, and although she wasn’t artistic with them, the taste was to die for. She even opened a second store in the town next to the one she lived in, which was then brought out by a man who had won the award she won the year before. It was going good.

Although everything was going well Victoria was having night meres about the week she spent chained to a bed. She just wanted to get over it all, and decided to see the local shrink. A month in she was feeling a little better, and even found time to shut down every Sunday, and find a few friends in the community after joining a movie club that met at the local Starbucks. The bakery was Victoria’s way of forgetting about her past during the day, and now she had friends the nights where getting easier to.

One of her new found friends offered to cook dinner for her with her family after Victoria had made cakes for their local charity event. Ethan was Missy’s brother, and he just happened to be there for dinner also. “Ethan this is Victoria, and Victoria this is my husband Gordon”. Hi guys, it’s nice to meet you. I am guessing this Benjamin, and little Missy.

After a night of food, and company Victoria left, and Ethan quickly stopped her to ask her out.”Vic,Victoria! I was just wondering if I could take you out on Friday night”? Sure, what time? Victoria was so excited, she had never had a date, boyfriend,or just a male friend before. So she was so looking forward to Friday.

Friday came, and Ethan did to. He took her out for a movie, dinner, and took her to the local lake for a walk. Ethan built a small fire so they could both sit for a while, and watch the stars, and the moon while they talked. A wonderful night that Victoria would never forget. It was the only day a man had ever treated her like a real human.

Over the next year Victoria, and Ethan grew closer, but Ethan could see she wasn’t happy with something. He also wondered why they had never had sex before. Ethan had asked Missy what he was doing wrong, and she had told Ethan about Victoria’s past. He decided one night to try to get Victoria to open up to him,but she wouldn’t. He offered her time, and told her that he wanted to get married, and have children, but Victoria didn’t want sex anymore. She wasn’t even ready to get married. After all she was happy with the way things where going, but did promise to think about marriage.

Ethan waited a year, then another, then another. He was patient after all,but he finally decided to ask the all important question. He got an automatic no. Victoria just wanted to enjoy life on her own. She broke up with Ethan, and stopped going to the movie nights. She kept on with her shrink, and he could see she wasn’t going to forgive herself for what she allowed herself to do all those years. So “Max the shrink” asked Victoria a very blunt question! Why do you spend so much money on my couch if you will never forgive yourself? She looked at Max, and walked out. Victoria sold her bakery, and spent her the following year in her house only going out to buy food, and other essentials.

A life so lonely, but Victoria wasn’t feeling that way at all. She loved the fact that she didn’t have to talk to anyone unless she really had to. If everyone else left this world Victoria would not be bothered. She just couldn’t be more happier feeling on her own. To many people took advantage of the fact she would open her legs so easy. The world is just that dirty sometimes, and she only felt clean when she was on her own.

On her forty fifth birthday Victoria made herself her favourite cake. Packed with chocolate, and sticky toffee on top. She looked over the town she lived in with her binoculars so she could see the lake she once had a date with a man who actually loved, and cared for her. She then wondered why that man never came to fight for her. She only knew that he had realised what her shrink had realised to. So she spent the next week trying to forgive herself. Being lonely wasn’t to brilliant after so many years.

Victoria finally plucked up the courage to go see Ethan, and as she walked thought town not wanting any distractions Missy bumped into her. Both of them looked at each other, and Missy smiled at Victoria. “You do know Ethan moved to England right”?” No?When did he go?” Falling to her knees crying wondering why she let the only person in her world that actually cared for her go, she asked Missy which part of England he moved to?

Victoria went to England, and booked herself into a hotel. She spent a few days looking around wondering if she really wanted to make another connection with Ethan? She spent some time visiting English bakeries, and the famous parts of London. One sunny day she went into an all you can eat Indian buffet as she had only had Indian food once when her father took her on vacation to Bristol in England. Walked in Ethan with a group of men in suits. He didn’t see her at first, but after a few minutes he saw a familiar face.

As Ethan, and Victoria looked at each other they didn’t know whether to frown or smile? Ethan gave her his phone number, and told her to give him a call later in the day. Six o’clock rolled around, and they both decided to meet at Starbucks. Ethan wondered why Victoria kept herself locked away. All she knew was that it would have been unfair being married to anyone with the way she was feeling.

Ethan had gotten engaged to another woman, and had been on a wedding related lunch that day. Victoria ran back into her hotel in hope Ethan wouldn’t follow her. He didn’t as his fiance met him there after a late dinner date with her friend.

Victoria wondered what she had done coming without knowing Ethan had a fiance! She felt another person had let her down, but she knew this time it was her fault, but she only wished Ethan had come fight for her. She decided it was her time to fight. So she woke up the next day, and waited for Ethan at his work place. When he arrived she begged for his forgiveness. All he said was that it was her own forgiveness she needed most of all before anyone else’s. Victoria looked up at the sky, and as Ethan walked in to the building she turned, and saw Ethan’s fiance.”I do not know what you mean to him, but you can have him” Ethan had found out from one of his work colleagues that his fiance was having an affair. He only told him this, because he could see in Ethan’s eyes how much he loved Victoria.

Ethan didn’t tell her about this, because he could see she hadn’t forgiven herself still. He just wanted the woman he loved to be happy with herself. So he waited for her for a week, but she never came. So he went to the hotel to visit her.

Victoria wasn’t there, and the reception staff at the hotel didn’t know what time she would be back. So he asked them to leave her a message. Victoria read that message. The message said,”I never came to see you because I thought you thought of me as another dirty man wanting sex to get what I wanted”. So she called him, and told him she never thought of him like that. She just needed time, but took to much.

Ethan had been in the bar of the hotel listening to a jazz band hoping she would see him, and offered to take her out so they could get to know each other again. Victoria obliged, and over the week few days both of them fell back in love with each other. But Ethan knew he wanted to stay in England, but Victoria didn’t. So she left without him wondering what would ever happen to the love they had.

Victoria got back to Alaska, and went home. Missy had been waiting for her wanting to see how she was. But Victoria just wanted to be alone again. Ethan went on working, and Victoria went on being alone. But nine months later Ethan turned up at her door. “You know what Victoria? You do have a way of staying in my head”. “What made you come back after all this time? Ethan explained about his job only being temporary, and how much money he was making, and needed to finish it to get every penny his contract offered. He told her how hard it was not to come back the day she left England with her.

They finally got married six months after Ethan being back. Victoria still didn’t want sex, but Ethan understood why. It just didn’t suit her, and why would she after what happend? They adopted a set of triplets after Ethan had opened a book store in the same place Victoria opened her bakery. The guy who brought it from her had been growing weed out of it, and had been arrested for making several of his customers high by mistake.

Although everything had worked out for Victoria in the end she died of cancer after her sixty seventh birthday. Ethan sold the book store to a guy who made a chain out of it. Ethan wasn’t to sad about that guy making so much money out of the business, but he always knew his life was made so much better by his wife, and three children.

Ethan put a special chair in his wife’s honour next to the lake where their first ever date was so the triplets could visit there, and so could he. He didn’t know the triplets would use it for dates with boys though! He just loved being there for them though, because although they where not his biological children he could see so much of his wife in them. It made him sad, and happy at the same time that they where so much like her.

The last words Victoria spoke to Ethan where,”I forgave myself the day you came to fight for my love, and I hope you forgive me for not wanting you in my life for all those years”! All Ethan could say was,”All I know is I am glad you forgive yourself. I love you my wonder woman”! He really did think of Victoria as wonder woman, because what she put herself through, and the last week could have pushed a lot of other women to suicide.

The economic perils today have led some to the underbelly.

Today, times are tough across America. The official unemployment rate in our country is 8.6 percent but tons more are underemployed. Many are not working enough hours with meaningful wages and compensation to support families and themselves. What do some of these displaced, laid-off and underemployed do for money?

Today, many normal employment channels have dried up due to our porous economy which has driven some to society’s underbelly for income. Certainly very few in our cities have turned to highly illegal and harmful occupations – like drug trading, trafficking, extortion and thievery to survive. But, behind computer terminals and closed doors; at racetracks and casinos, other shadowy professions are prospering and multiplying. Case in point: A very close friend of mine got fed up with trying to scratch out a buck in the L.A. real estate industry five years ago and became a professional poker player. Instead of days consumed by calling on clients and customers with business cards in tow, my buddy opted to play high stakes cash and tournament poker games in Southern California, Las Vegas and felt tables beyond to try and earn a living. Countless others have followed suit, leaving professions with solid pay checks by choice or boot to cards, ponies and point spreads to swing a buck. The action in most of our nation’s casinos is alive and vibrant – day or night. Doors are mostly open 24/7. Because of antes, cuts, rakes, and bad luck flops and turns, most undoubtedly fail at their new found careers. Most I suspect end up in far worse shape than when they left mainstream America.

Today, in our cities and across our nation, many women, too, have become displaced by job loss or have struggled to find work in the first place. High divorce rates nationwide and separations from partners have also added to women’s struggles to make ends meet. No doubt, a small minority of them have turned to the shadows for incomes. Prostitution flourishes in the U.S. and it’s there for the taking at the flick of a mouse and phone call. But, it has become much more hidden than decades past. Solicitations in bar lounges and on urban street corners have largely been curbed in favor of cell phones, websites and traveling lap tops. Today’s technology has altered how the world’s oldest profession is promoted and solicited. Becoming a high priced hooker these days means going high-tech. For some struggling women today, this income alternative will not dry up – it’s recession proof. There are no professionally handed out pink slips, only rotating hands of a clock.

The problems with underbelly professions in society can be discussed legally and morally, certainly. But there are economic issues, too, which can’t be solved easily. Most of our state governments have huge billion dollar dripping red ink deficits. The recession has caused thousands of layoffs from payrolls, reduced commissions and has certainly had an effect on states’ income tax revenues. Those jobs lost or waned were in most cases properly accounted for and taxed. Past nationwide Borders employees received W2s and stated and attested to their professions on tax returns. So did countless other mainstream Americans who lost jobs. Don’t think for one moment today that the billions of dollars changing hands nationally in the shadows is properly accounted for and taxed. It’s a cash game, in safes and under mattresses, and out of reach from governments’ needy hands. And, when we go out for our morning strolls around several city blocks, we often wonder how the pretty lady several doors away with the red convertible Mercedes parked in the driveway and some of our other neighbors live so well.

                                                                  #

Times are hard, the economy is still struggling. We are holding on by a thread trying to keep the bills paid. Many are still being laid off, even some postal offices are about to close because of financial difficulty. We, those who’ve lost their jobs are scrapping by to make end meet.

Families have troubles maintaining the household bills and some have nowhere to go for assistance. It’s enough to drive a person crazy! But what if there was a way to make quick cash? Would you do it if it was degrading, so as long as you get paid?

I know people who sell movies, cigarettes and whatever can be sold on the streets because it’s the only money source they have. As they say “you got to do what you have to do.” Families are starving, living without electricity or even gas. Something has got to give.

As a mother of three I know how hard it is to provide and raise children. If there was no way to get money, that you know of, and you’ve been introduced to a industry that is degrading and explicit would you do it? The porn industry is very flamboyant, some are proud of what they do. Because it puts food on the table and money in the bank, however its disgusting to others.

Prostitution is the oldest business in the world and it’s illegal. The so called business is so big, that there are Internet dating websites that is solely based on it. Have you heard www.SeekingArrangements.com? There you will find very wealthy men called (sugar daddies) looking for sugar babies. They generously pay women for their time and on occasions sex is involved.

The women that sign up find men to pay their bills and shopping habits. The porn and dating industries are billion dollar businesses and they don’t seem to be going anywhere no time soon. Some women do it just to get by and get on their feet, but some get addicted to the money and stay.

The pay is good, it’s a way to get out of debt, and a chance to give your kids a better life. So, would you do Internet porn or sign up on a dating website to sell yourself to prevent drowning in debt? I guess it depends on the person and situation. People are struggling and seeking income in variable sources. It’s desperate measures when it boils down to it.

What would you do?

Violation of children’s rights.child prostitution

Child labor is nothing new. Historically it has existed for centuries. A child is treated with love, warmth, mercy and compassion. Today on the streets of India it is not uncommon to see children being prostituted, both boys and girls but girls being the more common. It is reported in India 70% of women are forced into prostitution, 20% of these being children. A survey conducted by Indian Health Organization of a red light area in Bombay shows:

1. 20% of child prostitutes are children.
2. 25% of child prostitutes had been sold or abducted.
3. 6% had been raped and sold.
4. 8% had been sold by their fathers after forcing them into incestuous relationships.
5. 2 girls were bought every year, from Nepal to India and 20,000 of them are in Bombay brothels.
6. 15 – 18% are adolescence between 13 – 18 years.
7. Of the 200 million suffering from S.T.D’s worldwide 50 million come from India alone.

Poverty # 1 cause.born into prostitution.

A study shows that the poverty stricken fathers, brothers and husbands do not hesitate to sell their daughters sisters and wives. Children are not so much lured into but thrust into prostitution. Some of them are lured to Bombay the tinsel town. They dream of stellar roles in films and mostly end up as prostitutes in cages.

Who are these girls and where do they come from?childhood wedding

Tribal Kolta women and girls from Garhwhal hills are compelled to become prostitutes to [/i[i]rescue their family from debt or bondage.
Agents often visit promising good jobs and marriage to Nepal women.

Not exposed to the world.Nepali women

Nepal has a very large female population and the majority of them are illiterate making them gullible and are therefore easily lured under pretext. They are fair skinned and attractive and the promise to get them into films tempts them. They are also very much unexposed to the outer world.

A perspective on the debate of whether or not prostitution should be lagalized or not.

With the invention of males and females came the constant need for negotiation, as history indicates. Some civilizations were based on male dominance and rewarded those who possessed strength, innate tactical intelligence and traits generally present in males. This explains why many civilizations have not been kind to women. A small number of civilizations did honor women, but women have never been able to achieve equal status with men.

Women have not always been able to escape the role of housewife or gain a political voice. Only in recent human history have women been able to obtain relative equality. They have been able to make great gains through a considerable amount of achievements, no need to list here. Yet to this day, men and women have specialized roles within societies, differing only slightly in some countries and greatly in other countries.

Reasons Not To Legalize Prostitution

As countries are considering legalizing and decriminalizing the sex industry, we urge you to consider the ways in which legitimating prostitution as “work” does not empower the women in prostitution but does everything to strengthen the sex industry.

Legalization of prostitution is a gift to pimps, traffickers and the sex industry.

Legalization of prostitution promotes sex trafficking.

Legalization of prostitution does not control the sex industry. It expands it.

Legalization of prostitution increases underground, hidden, illegal and street prostitution.

Legalization of prostitution increases child prostitution. Legalization was supposed to get prostituted women off the street. Many women don’t want to register and undergo health checks, as required by law in certain countries legalizing prostitution, so legalization often drives them into street prostitution. And many women choose street prostitution because they want to avoid being controlled and exploited by the new sex “businessmen.”

Legalization of prostitution does not protect the women in prostitution. Women in prostitution indicated that prostitution establishments did little to protect them, regardless of whether they were in legal or illegal establishments. “The only time they protect anyone is to protect the customers.”

Legalization of prostitution increases the demand for prostitution. It boosts the motivation of men to buy women for sex in a much wider and more permissible range of socially acceptable settings. With the advent of legalization in countries that have decriminalized the sex industry, many men who would not risk buying women for sex now see prostitution as acceptable. When the legal barriers disappear, so too do the social and ethical barriers to treating women as sexual commodities. Legalization of prostitution sends the message to new generations of men and boys that women are sexual commodities and that prostitution is harmless fun.

Legalization of prostitution does not promote women’s health. A legalized system of prostitution that mandates health checks and certification only for women and not for clients is blatantly discriminatory to women. “Women only” health checks make no public health sense because monitoring prostituted women does not protect them from HIV/AIDS or STDs, since male “clients” can and do originally transmit disease to the women.

Legalization of prostitution does not enhance women’s choice. Most women in prostitution did not make a rational choice to enter prostitution. They did not sit down one day and decide that they wanted to be prostitutes

Women in systems of Prostitution do not want the sex industry legalized or decriminalized.

Honestly, I had never really thought about this, but prostitution being a legal job in Germany must be pretty "exotic" for some countries and cultures. And no, this article does not contain adult material!

Image via Wikipedia

Yes, just to make this clear: This article will not contain adult material other than the words “prostitution” and “pimp”. That is already all you will get, I intend this article as a piece of information. Nothing naughty to find here, sorry

So yes, prostitution has become legal in Germany a couple of years ago. But – there is always a “but”, right? – it has to obey many rules, regulations and laws.
Being an official prostitute in Germany is a business like most other businesses. You need to be registered and have to pay taxes!

What is not allowed is forcing anyone into prostitution. The women need to be “self-employed”. So, pimps are not legal. The only way of “legal pimping” is renting rooms to the women. It is not allowed to earn money from their actual “work”.

The reason why Germany did this, is actually pretty simple and logical: It is the best way to decrease the crime rate and to get prostitution out of the shadows of our society.

The women also get benefits of being a registered and legal prostitute, as they can have a retirement plan, social security and health insurance. If you ask me, this is definitely much better than working until you either drop dead or are no longer attractive enough and become homeless and poor.

If you have any further questions, here is the very informative Wikipedia article.

Should prostitution be banned or not? Here are some ideas listed.

Banning of Prostitution Part A

Prostitution has been around for many years since people first became aware of the money they could earn just from doing it as a profession. Women came known to this profession as a result of not being able to support their family. Now that issue of family support is gone legislations are placed to control it, although brothels are mostly still legal. There have been numerous legislations already in place to legalise prostitution but prostitution shouldn’t be legal. Brothels Legislation Amendment Act (2007 NSW) should be changed. This law states the meaning of a brothel; related sex uses and issues a brothel closure order. The meaning of brothel as stated by The Brothels legislation Amendment Act 2007 is

“Brothel means a brothel within the meaning of the Restricted

Premises Act 1943, other than premises used or likely to be used

For the purposes of prostitution by no more than one prostitute.”

The act also states that premises using any related sex uses would be closed if they were using it for sexual acts, sexual services, massage services and adult entertainment in exchange for payment.

Part B

A change in prostitution laws is required because of the never-ending changing society. Key factors are the money earned, health issues, the expansion of the sex industry and the rational decisions becoming a prostitute.

Earning money through prostitution seems unfair. Prostitutes earn heaps of money through prostitution. Others have worked hard their lives to get money while prostitutes just need to have sex for money. This is unjust and should be treated. If not, people are at risk of being overwhelmed by the accessibility of brothels.

Being prostitutes has its health risks. From unprotected sex, they can get STDs such as AIDS/HIV. These can come from clients and then having sex with another client without protection can transmit the disease. This can start a chain of events leading one to another. The deaths from STDs could rise and there would be a decrease in population. 47% of men stated that they expected not to use a condom, 73% said that they offered more money if they had sex without a condom and 45% of women said they were abused if they insisted on using a condom. Thus, showing that there could be an increase in STD levels in Australia even if prostitution is legalised already.

The legalisation of prostitution has led to an increase in the sex industry as they have no fear of being caught. Now many men see this as an opportunity for them to take advantage of the situation and buy women for sex. This sends a message to males everywhere that females are just sexual commodities. This can bring people such as ‘pimps’ and drug dealers who often start violent crimes often leaving the prostitute as the target.

What many people don’t realise is that most prostitutes didn’t really have a choice to enter the sex industry, most likely because they were poor and need the money. They weren’t forced to but rather they did it as a survival technique. This sometimes leads them to emotional feelings about their jobs and lying about their job. Some people have no other choice but take in prostitution because of human trafficking. They need the money to compensate for their travel, food and accommodation. Usually they never earn enough and end up being a prostitute for a long time. They usually don’t seek help from authorities.

The specific changes that would be taken in place will most definitely be the banning of prostitution. This would include a Brothel closure order to take down prostitution and raiding places which hold sex related practices in exchange for money.

   Part C

Four key stakeholders who would find the illegalising of prostitution of prostitution interesting would be Catholics, Feminists, Clients of Prostitutes and Prostitutes.

The Catholics are strongly against prostitution. In their mind, it is considered a sin, as most Christian religions dos and people should be punished. If prostitution was banned their views on society will change. They would have a less strict control on their religion’s rules.

The Feminists will finally get what they finally wanted. The exploitation of women and unfair treatment will be gone but they make start thinking if people had the right to abortions they would also have a similar right to the sale of sexual services.

The Clients of prostitutes would be very disappointed and may start protests against the legislation. They would possible try to find an illegal way prostitution which could make them go to jail.

The prostitutes would be out of a job and they would have to go and find a different job to earn money. They might even become a lower rank in society and some would likely go to such extremes and make secret prostitution lairs risking them of being caught by the police.
