Can I pump out 10 articles in the last day before 2012 and jump-start my triond career?

With all of the information floating around on the world wide web, getting noticed is a difficult task. If you are reading this right now, chances are you already know about Triond, the site that rewards writers in cash for standing out amongst the infinite pieces of knowledge that inhabit the Internet. Now chances are, one or two articles aren’t going to crank out enough views to earn a pretty penny. Making a substantial amount of money with your keyboard takes some effort. Now I arrive at my much anticipated point: over the year or more that I’ve had this account, I find myself with only 8 articles landing me about a measly $4.00 total. I’ve been lazy on Triond, hoping for one of my articles to suddenly boom with activity and make me a steady flow of cash on it’s own. That, unfortunately is not the case. This is why I am writing this particular article. I would like to inform my fellow authors that I have set a goal for myself to pump out at least 10 quality pieces of writing over the duration of this New Year’s Eve. I am going to rack my brain for ideas on interesting topics for my reader’s and hit the keyboard. I encourage all of you(for I am a human with the inescapable flaw of greed) to keep an eye on my account today, and watch as I find myself desperately flailing about in an attempt to complete my steep goal. Happy New Year’s Eve, and wish me luck!

-EDIT-

Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my goal due to other things I had to do, and the fact that I tend to spend a lot of time making long and detailed articles. I do however plan on taking on the more managable task of writing one article every day over the course of 2012.

I think you could find your favortie items among them.

Other legit online stores I suggest to you:

BuyOnMe.com Reviews – Legit china-based gadgets stores with free shipping. Located in China, a wholesale e-commerce company named BuyOnMe.com was founded in 2007. The operating mode of it is different from Alibaba platform, DHgate platform, or Aliexpress platform. BuyOnMe.com itself is the seller who produces products such as: Cell Phones, Wedding Apparel, Electronics, Computers, and sells them instead of an e-commerce trading platform providing clients with products information and other services. If you search “”how to buy made in prc products”" in Google, you will find this store in the front to the searching results.

Dealextreme – Dealextreme is one of the biggest china-based retail website. Sometimes the retail price is even lower than most wholesale sites. I have a lot of friends in Canada go to purchase on this site. The delivery speed is a little longer, usually taking a month or even more. But considering the products coming from China and the cheap price, that’s not a problem.

Amazon.com – Another biggest online platform. The price is a little higher than ebay. But the product quality is better than ebay.

Ebay.com – The world’s biggest auction platform. You could find wholesale suppliers here. People should be careful about the low price scam.

alibaba.com – You could find dirt cheap prices on alibaba. Alibaba give different level certifications to different wholesale seller, such as “”gold member”" or “”trust member”". But even trust members have been caught scamming the buyers. It seems that some scammers could buy “”gold”" or “”trust”" certifications. Anyway most sellers are doing their business honestly.

You buy thing from the Internet, you never see the face of the seller, you just pay and wait for your package. It could not be imagined in 10 years ago. But it is reality now. Isn’t it wonderful?

The Hand Bag Saga.

My hand bag is in a bad shape … umm that’s actually an understatement … My handbag resembles a rag-picker’s worst possession … with threads sprouting from random places like the tentacles of a jellyfish and belt at the verge of snapping off any second. I am actually surprised that it’s still hanging there.

Front looks like the chipped walls on an ancient abandoned haveli, while the chain portion has turned into a war ravaged area.

And it’s not even 10 months old, but the appearance would make anyone wonder if it had been in possession of each of my ancestors.

I struggle each morning to gulp down the embarrassment during the security check.

You really cannot rely on brands these days. The prices have skyrocketed but the quality has dwindled. The trust we had on brands is no longer stable. Even if there’s a guarantee period, the item would stop working just a day after the guarantee ends. Experience speaks here. It’s very difficult to find thigs with both quality and which is economic. Tough times.

Enhance the ability to control emotions.

Celebrate the feast day also significantly increased personal qualities. Included in the increased ability to control emotions. Practicing restraint of emotion not only take place during Ramadan until the day of victory. After Eid, the ability to refrain from petikaian also need to be maintained and even enhanced.

In marriage, fights like a spice. But you can control your emotions so that this condition is not heating up. Especially damaging your victory after practicing restraint during Ramadan.

When arguing choose words wisely. Words can be as sharp as a knife in the offending spouse. Here are some tricks in the air when you say the Kalima and strife-torn couple, excerpted from the book The Happiness Project, Gretchen Rubin wrote.

1. ”Please understand my opinion.”
Increasingly there is a difference of opinion, the narrower the way you both in thought.Try to empathize. Throw this sentence before starting a conversation, to make sure you and he still care about each partner.

2. ”It’s important to me. Please listen.”
When arguing their respective spouses often ignore the opinion. Say this sentence, for his attention, then wait until a few seconds before delivering the most important points on the couple.

3. ”I was also wrong.”
It’s easiest to blame the partner as the party that created the problem. But no one happy when cornered. For that, try to recognize your contribution in the occurrence of a problem, no matter how small.

4. ”It’s not just your problem, but the problem both of us.”
This statement could change the dynamic of fights – which initially only your problem or problems he-be how you and he tried to resolve the issue.

5. ”Well, we think first.”
Sometimes the best thing you can do is stop talking. Give it time for you both to split up, calm down and think each other. When possible, delay one or two days to meet again. Thus you are offered an opportunity for anger to subside first.

6. ”I love you.”
There was nothing that could melt the heart of someone who was emotional, but convey your deepest feelings to him. You will soon realize, that he was very mean to you, and you do not want to lose him just because satisfying feeling upset endless.

Most people are working but not having enough gain to show for their relentless efforts at their work place. Whereas work is suppose to be a blessing and not a burden. If you truly desire to succeed at work, just do me the favor of reading through this piece so that you can begin to make most of efforts poured by you into your work.

HOW TO SUCCEED AT WORK

John Ruskin said that when love and skill work together, we should expect a masterpiece.

People make the mistake of thinking that they work for a bank, an oil company, a small business. The truth is that you were hired by your company, but you work for yourself. Why do I say that you work for yourself? Everything you do in your company is going to affect the destiny of that company, but more than that, it will also affect you.

You have to come to reality that you work for yourself. Every contribution you make to the success of your company is making a contribution to your own life. If you decide to bring the company down through laziness and bad quality work, you are also bringing down your own life. If you perform excellently, it will as well reflect in your life.

When you wake up in the morning, get out of bed. Prepare and head for workplace where you build your future. When you get into your workplace, bear in mind every action on your part will lead you to a future of success or failure. Ensure that you produce excellent work because you are not working for your company but for yourself. You must do your work with integrity and do the right thing. In reality, you are simply training yourself to become a person of excellence and integrity.

Nothing brings this point home more than the point of looking for a job, whether it is due to being sacked from your previous work, or you are trying to change companies. Potential employers are always on the look-out for work experience with respect to how well you understand your job and not how long you have spent in that job function. The reason you were invited for the interview was because you met the requirements. What is going to stand you out from others is how well you understand this concept and apply it .

KNOW YOUR JOB

The understand of your job is what will give you an hedge above others in your company and field of expertise. Knowing why your job exists and knowing it fits into the overall objective of the company you are working for. Even if you only a guy who stamps ‘PAID’ on company invoices. You need to understand that your job exists to help the company paid for services received and you are more of an auditor that a stamp rep.

DEVELOP YOURSELF

Can you imagine a weight lifter who only works on one part of his body? That part of the body will look quite grotesque. Developing yourself only in the job function you currently do is myopic. Take time to find out what is happening in other areas of the business, read up on new areas in your spare time. Don’t wait for your company to train you. Invest in your professional development.

BE A TEAM PLAYER

No matter how skillful you are at your job, the skill that gets you noticed and further is how you interact well with others in your team and how make them feel. Cultivate the habit of working alongside with others and appreciate them as well for every contribution made them in ensuring that you also achieve your own quota in your job.

DO YOUR BEST AT WORK

You might as well be tempted to say that after all, you are not the only one in your company. Always remember that you are working for the company but for yourself.

Give your best to your employer so that when are also on your own, those serving under you could as well do the same thing to you.

DON’T JOIN THE LEAGUE OF COMPLAINERS

There are many people that will never be satisfied. They complain about everything. Even when their complaints are met, they will still find something and somebody to complain about. Don’t let such people infect you with their brand of poison.

DON’T BREAK RANKS

Don’t run down your boss for any reason, even if your boss is cruel and inhuman. You still have to play your part well because if you continue to play along like your boss’s bad traits you will definitely become like him or her. My advice to you is that you should play the good part.

Logic and Science are great tools for learning new information, but sometimes we have to be careful how we use them.

The Precautionary Principle is a pseudo scientific theory that allows people in “power” to make decisions without having all the available data. Historically the principle dates back to the German concept of ” Vorsorgeprinzip” (roughly translates to precaution principle). When faced with uncertainty, the principle suggests we should take action IF not taking action would lead to serious harm or an extreme catastrophe (typically economically or environmentally).

On the surface the principle seems to make sense. Personally, I am a big proponent of the phrase “an once of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. In my quality background, it is most cost effective to implement a preventative and proactive solution to a problem then to wait until things have gone horribly wrong. The main problem with this principle happens to be in its multiple interpretations, similar to the problems that exist with the well known “80/20″ rule.

The Precautionary Principle allows a policy maker to justify an overly extreme action, simply by constructing a decision matrix showing that taking no action leads to potential (or even imagined) consequences. For example, here’s how we can “prove” your neighbour is a terrorist using the Precautionary Principle.( For the purposes of this illustration let’s assume your neighbour happens to be male).

a) Either your neighbour is a terrorist or he is not a terrorist

b) If you take no action against your neighbour and he is NOT a terrorist, then no problem, no harm is done to anyone

c) If you take action against your neighbour and he is NOT a terrorist, then he will be harmed (unjustly accused), perhaps spend some time in jail, but eventually be acquitted due to lack of evidence (minor harm done to one individual)

d) If you take action against your neighbour, and he IS a terrorist, then you are a hero because you just saved the world from the potential horror of a major catastrophe, as he must have been involved in some insidious plot to destroy some large group of people (eg: a suicide bombing or similar terrorist action) (no harm done because you saved everyone)

e) If you take NO action against your neighbour and he IS a terrorist, a horrible fate awaits your home and your family, because eventually he will follow through on his terrorist plans and everyone you love and care about maybe killed or horribly harmed and you did nothing to stop it (Major “extreme” catastrophe)

So, according to the precautionary principle, it is better to take action and harm your neighbour unjustly, then it is to take no action and in fact he is a terrorist and causes great harm to others.

In this example the Precautionary Principle works “against” the typical notion of justice, which states that the “burden” of proof is to find evidence of guilt (innocent until proven guilty). The Precautionary Principle allows policy makers to justify an act of “guilty” until proven innocent.

Why do minorities have statistically lower educational attainment?

When talking about racial achievement gap in school, people often blame the children for their lack of effort, or their parents for poor child rearing skills, or their inadequate genetic predisposition for academia (Darling-Hammond 2010). People assume that if a student is not getting good grades in school, then it must be because s/he is not trying hard enough; or that the student is just naturally incompetent at learning. And since all kids are taught by the same teachers, the reason that these children are not trying hard must be a direct consequence of their parents’ child-rearing style. People make these assumptions because of the misconception that equal opportunity exists and thus cannot be a contributing factor to the low-achieving students’ failure. However, research show that there is a lot of resource inequality for schools with lots of minority students.

In order to close the achievement gap, Darling-Hammond suggests that the government provide equal resource distributions to all school, regardless of the demographics. Such policy has proven to be very effective during the Great Society’s War on Poverty. During that time, when government increased investments in urban and poor rural schools, college attendance rates began to increase for minority students, with the gap being nearly non-existent by the 1970s. However, once these programs are pushed back, the racial achievement gap begins to widen again. To address this issue, Darling-Hammond proposes even investments for all schools, which will lead to:
a. The equalization of access to resources such as books and technical tools
b. Diverse group of well-prepared educators
c. A curriculum designed for higher thinking
