I was forced to enter a story contest, despite my better judgement since I SUCK at writing in general. I had a limit, and I have a nasty habit of overexplaining things, therefore this was poorly written.

The sun shone brightly on the side of our large red barn. The beautiful birds whom perched themselves on the tree branches sang a lovely tune. Their voices cried in perfect harmony with the other sounds of nature, the tricking of water, the hum of the breeze. Farm animals of all sorts were outside today, basking in the splendor present. Most importantly, the horses were enjoying this day to their full extent.
My name is Brooke Willow. I live on this wonderful farm with my parents. My father’s name is Marshall; he’s the owner of this lovely farm. My mother’s name is Theresa. When she first met Marshall, I wasn’t sure I liked him. However, when I found out he kept horses, I grew used to him. He’s not a bad fellow once you get to know him.
As I pushed open the wooden door to our house, it creaked loudly. The door needed oiled again. Sitting inside at the table was none other then mother. I could easily recognize her by her shining black hair and the way she looked at me with those friendly blue eyes. She was wearing the purple sun dress I bought her.
I glanced up as father came walking in. He was wearing what he wears most the time, common farmer’s attire. The blue overalls and the straw hat made a welcome appearance. I stepped away from his; he had that ax heaved over his shoulder again.
He forced open the back door and disposed of the ax. When he came back inside he said, “How are you ladies doing today?”
Mother giggled at his comment. Father always was the chivalrous type. “We’re fine.”
Before anyone else could speak, I added a question that was haunting me since I returned home. I was at the market today picking out some odds and ends mother needed. School was out of session for now. “How are the horses doing?” I was always asking how the horses were ever since something tried to attack one of them.
Father’s head lowered before he replied, “Something killed Polo last night.”
“Do you know what killed it?” Mother stole the words right out my mouth. Polo was a sweet black and white horse. He was the youngest horse we had.
Unfortunately, father shook his head quietly. “I don’t know.” He admitted. “I thought it was wolves; those things are always after my livestock. But the damage doesn’t appear to be caused by wolves. The horse’s neck was torn apart. I doubt it’s a wolf, because the other animals all seem unharmed.”
“Then what are we to assume is killing the horses?” mother inquired silently, clearly baffled by this.
Father shrugged, snatching a jar of honey out of the cupboard. “I wish I knew. There’s not really much I can do about it.”
I couldn’t believe my ears! Father was just going to completely ignore the murder of these poor innocent animals. What if whatever that thing is comes back and tries to slaughter another one of those horses. “Father!” I objected. “You have to do something. I love these horses. I come outside and ride them everyday, which I can’t do if they’re all killed.”
Thank goodness father didn’t ignore my protest. “Would it make you feel better if I left Rosco out tonight?”
I nodded eagerly. Rosco was our family dog. The cute little brown, scruffy thing was sitting outside, wagging its tail eagerly. “That would be very helpful, thank you father.”
Both of us were silent for a minute. Out of nowhere, I leaped towards father and wrapped my arms around him. He smiled cheerfully and hugged me back.
After that conversation, I spent the rest of the day playing with the horses. Luckily, father had cleared up Polo’s corpse so I didn’t have to see the suffering that poor horse was put through. Eventually, it was time for me to take the horses back to their pens and go to bed. It took me hours to get to sleep. Not only was I paranoid about more horses dying, but I was also excited to play with them tomorrow. However, I woke up to a terrifying surprise.
I blew past both mother and father. “I’m going to go outside and play with the horses.” As I threw open the front door and ran over to the horse pen, suddenly screaming in terror.
Sitting in front of me was the corpse of another horse. The fur of the tan colored horse was coated in night old blood, mainly around its neck. As horrifying as the sight of my dead horse sitting in front of me was, I was much more concerned with what was laying at the base of the horse’s leg.
Resting on the grass was the body of Rosco. Whatever killed the horse took Rosco down too. I was horrified at the sight of the dog laying there, blood surrounding its now severed head.
All I could do was dash back into the house and scream in terror, “Rosalyn is dead!”
Father glanced up from the breakfast he was preparing. “What? Another horse died? That’s preposterous. Rosco was outside guarding those horses all night.”
Words could not describe what I saw, so I merely took father outside and showed him the beheaded scruffy pup lying by the lifeless horse. Father was speechless too. I knew he loved Rosco just as much as I loved Rosalyn and Polo.
“I’m really sorry.” Father frowned.
“No,” I tried to comfort him by disagreeing. “It’s not your fault that something is massacring the horses.”
Father turned his head away from the sight of the dead animals before continuing. “I really should report this to the authorities though. If this thing can take down my dog too then its bigger then some wolf or even a pack of wolves. I’m almost terrified to think what kind of a monster this thing is.” Father ambled away before I could add any further commentary.
I quietly watched father leave, then gazed out into the field. Most or the horses were hovering in the corner of the pen. The poor things were probably frightened terribly by whatever was attacking their family. I took note of Greyfell being the only horse out in the field now.
As I reached for Greyfell’s head, he gaped up from grazing and peered towards me, his ears pricking curiously. He quietly allowed me to stroke him on the head.
That was the last time that day I spent with the horses. Most of them were too petrified to even come out into the fields and I really didn’t want to make the poor horses suffer more then they already were.
Mother pushed open the door, illuminating the room with her candle light. “How are you doing sweetie?” she asked, carefully sitting on the corner of my bed.
“Still worried about the horses.” I sadly replied.
“I’m worried too. The wildlife around here gets more dangerous every day. I assure you, Marshall reported these attacks to the police and they reassure us that they’re on the case. They’ll let us know if they come up with any details.” It was completely reassuring, but it was good comfort anyways. “Well, have a good night sleep honey.” Mother blew out the candle light she left on the table and wandered out of my room, quietly closing my door.
I waited a few minutes before reaching over and finding a match in my drawer. I struck the match over the matchbox and lit the candle light. Then I leaned on the edge of my bed, trying to adjust to the darkness outside.
I could see one of the horses dashing across the field, fleeing from something.
That was the thing that was killing the horses! Whatever it was supposed to be was out there right now. I quickly leapt out of bed and scrambled down the stairs. I had to get out there and get a clear view of what it was.
The door didn’t squeal this time when I threw it open; father must have oiled it finally. As I made it outside, I ran towards the horse pen, shining the candle light high. As I neared the fence, the candle casted a light on something. Shadows thrown across the dark grass as the light caught their figures.
A person was violently assaulting one of the horses; I quickly recognized the horse as Greyfell. I watched in terror as the person forced the horse into the ground. I couldn’t believe a person had such strength that they could force down a full grown horse; especially one as big and strong as Greyfell.
However, what horrified me that most was what the person did next. I wasn’t sure if my eyes were deceiving me or not, but I could’ve sworn the guy was biting into the horses neck.
I was horrified as I watched this person violently massacre poor Greyfell. As I continued to watch, I confirmed that this guy was indeed biting into the horse’s neck, violently tearing apart its skin.
As the person drew back, he turned towards me, suddenly freezing in spot as my candle light shone on him.
Standing in front of me was a tall man, probably about 25 years of age. The man had deep black spiked hair. He was wearing a black button up shirt and blue jeans. I think his shoes were brown. He also had a tall deep red collar behind his shirt which had a long dark blue cape attached to it. Blood coated his lips from where he bit into Greyfell.
Eventually, I managed to gain the audacity to speak. “Why are you killing my horses? Who are you… no, what are you?”
Shockingly, the man seemed more then happy to answer. As he wiped the blood off his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt and chuckled at me, I could’ve sworn his teeth were fanged. “Greetings human.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I asked curiously, tilting my head to the side.
“You’re a human aren’t you?” he inquired with a smirk.
I narrowed my gaze at him as I replied, “Yeah, but aren’t you too?”
He shook his head. “I’m not human like you are. I don’t survive like you do. I live off the blood of others.” The odd man leaned on the fence post, continuing his short lecture to me. “Human blood tastes better, but I’m trying not to anger the humans by killing them. So I drink from animals instead.”
I at first made no comment. However, I eventually added, “I don’t follow.”
“My name is Vesper Orfeo and I, my friend, am a Vampire.” So the man’s name was Vesper? I’ve never heard a name like that before. I had heard stories about Vampires, but I never thought they existed.
I threw my hands on the edge of the fence. “I thought Vampires didn’t exist! If you were this obvious about everything don’t you think someone would’ve noticed you by now?”
Vesper smirked. “How do you know you’ve even spotted me?”
I glared at Vesper, my eyes narrowing towards him and question his logic. “I know because you’re standing right here… and I’m talking to you. I’m pretty sure you exist, as creepy as it is.”
“Am I really?” Vesper inquired with a devious grin.
Vesper abruptly vanished before I could say anything else. I didn’t see him run off, he was just gone instantly. Maybe Vesper really didn’t exist. Perhaps I just envisaged Vesper out of thin air. Was I talking to no one? I decided Vesper didn’t really exist and I just imagined the whole thing. Like Vampires actually existed. I turned around, waltzing back in through the front door.
Never did I notice the rustling in the trees. Sitting in the tree’s gazing down on me silently, was Vesper. “They always fall for that one.”
Then, he was gone.

Dealing a basic nessessity of life such as water can be very profitable, though intentions are disguised and deception comes into play,

even when suicide feels appropriate, to the next person it may seem totally unnecessary, but hey. We has a responsability to feel compashinit and caring for one another, even when ____hits the fan.

In every day life, we struggle with tainted contaminated water that doesn’t make sense but is slightly fascinating to read, I mean drink.
And even though god gave us all these little to large things to play with or use, use is very bland, we interact and multiply energy, we compress and expand space time just by breathing for goodness sake.

God may never show himself to me, nor will I ever un center myself and get my head out from between my butcheeks BUT! There is a way, Will way. To will there is a way wait…

How many years must you live to know the truth, :WHATTRUTH” Gahhhhh!!! IDK
Which truth where truth why truth how truth, LIES! all of it. All of it TRUTH!.

Invert fiction and you get non fiction, not exactly but true.. Or false, See it doesn’t matter because 60 years from now a new child will shed light on the bigger truth and aid in the Bigger quest to.. Unjumble life a bit more.

TT the end.

A random journey down a stream of consciousness; a walk inside the surreal.

Several feet below the center, just a little left of nowhere; I had a dream and found that you were in it.

I was physically moved, as I found the wind tossing my restless hair; and within the breeze was the whisper of our memories. It echoes the bond that was always left unspoken. But now you are here. With me. And I feel almost home.

Messages from the great unknown, gently lead me on. Past you, to a place without you in it. I follow the path, the one that dreams are made of, not really knowing where I go. But then, do I really care? Do I really have to know?

Sometimes the surreal leads you by the hand to an unknown horizon. It blazes a path of wonder and speculation, but it then quickly shows you truth, veiled behind symbols and metaphor. The truth is exposed -there to look square in the eyes.

The question many face is whether we have the courage to greet truth, as if it were a friend. Is it right to look at revelation with such intimate familiarity? How does one rescue sober reality, in this world of my surreal escape?

I call out to none. I applaud the empty clarity of the abstract. I wonder….what will I remember when the sharp poke of reality stabs at my side?

As I ponder, I think, “I should take a note”. I slowly grab the pencil and the notepad that I always carry in the back pocket of my mind. I start to write and the tip of the pencil breaks. As it breaks it drops little droplets of red, an ancient blood, the blood that wisdom shed. And I silently wept tears of understanding. The paper suddenly shred, into a million, tiny pieces, under a power—all of its own.

And I wander, back to the very beginning . . . which is really the end of nothing at all. And I dream, and I dream. And then as the sun peeks into the very corners of my mind, I think back…and suddenly its gone. Or is it really?

Things need to be realized.

So I just wrote a shit load of stuff about 2012, and ironically my computer fucked up and erased it all. Extremely odd considering it has never….done that before. FUCK!!! Now I hafta remember what I said. I believe in 2012…to the fullest. I don’t know whats going to happen for sure. But I do believe something horrible IS going to happen. I recently went and watched the movie 2012, which by NO MEANS convinced me that it was real. The scientific studies, facts, and the “coincidence” are what proved to me that it is going to happen. I don’t want it to by any means. We all wanted to do more things with our lives, we had plans. Well at least I know people my age did, and do. We wanted to party more, have more stories to tell our children, that we wanted to have eventually, with the women/man that we wanted to spend the rest of our <strike>long </strike>lives with. I’m not asking you to believe in what I’m saying, or go kill yourself because the world is going to end. All im saying is believe it or not….you should at least live like you do believe it. Like everyday might be your last.

Albert Einstein said if the honey bees were suddenly gone mankind would have about 4 years left to live. Well, the honey bees are going extinct now and at the present rate in another year or so there will be no more honey bees left on earth. One year from now plus another 4 years gives us the year 2012. This is true..look it up. Nasa has repeatedly contradicted themselves when it comes to denying “Nibiru” or “planet X”. They have said the planets will never align. They have said its impossible for the polar magnets to switch or move. Then several times said the opposite. Sometimes they have their shit together…sometimes, NASA predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of current 11-year sunspot cycle. Some believe this will amplify the effects of retarding magnetic field on earth, as harmful charged particles blasted away from the sun would more easily penetrate the earth’s atmosphere. Even religion gives away hints and clues about it, The Vatican holds very closely to the Prophecy of St. Malachy. This Medieval Monk had detailed visions of 112 Popes until Doomsday, also known as The Biblical Apocalypse. The current Pope, Benedict XVI is the 111th named Pope, only one Pope remains. Just open your eyes people. Give the impossible a chance of possibility. Just think about it. Why are their so many cover ups?

Jesus said that no man knows the hour or the day of the End of Days. Even Jesus didn’t know. Only his father did. But Jesus added that he hoped that those who will live in the Final Generation would look for the signs in the hope their suffering would not be so great. Look at the signs please.

I also believe in “Ancient Aliens”. The history channel has a show about it a little while ago. Im almost positive it’s on youtube. It’s very interesting and has WAY WAY too many points and evidence to simply dismiss. Please go and watch it. Just type in “Ancient Aliens, History channel”. It’s like 7 or 9 parts long. but it’s worth it. I would type out all of what it says, but watching the video is much more interesting then reading my horrible grammar. Was anybody aware that there is a giant crack in Africa that’s supposed to be a new ocean? It tore 35 miles in just days. Personally…this is just how I feel. Anything you read on the Internet like this, the story about the crack, if you go and google it. It’s going to talk about how its been happening for 30 million years or some crazy ass story. It’s going to be from geologist and it’s going to tell you about how it’s not going to happen for millions of years. Well why would they tell you anything otherwise? Why would they say this is a sign of 2012, why would they want you to panic…. Just a theory. I don’t know shit, I’m just ranting. But there are two things you need to know, one…aliens, they exist…they do. There is no question anymore. stop questioning it…they exist. 2012…Is going to happen, how bad? Idk…but it IS going to happen. This is a just an attempt from me to all of you to tell you…educate yourself. It’s better for you to know anything, than to be left in the dark, alone. Nobody wants to be alone if something like that were to happen. Take a look at some 2012 stuff. Or ask me about it, I know…a little. Please go look at “ancient aliens” on youtube. It’s from the history channel, don’t let people shoot down your theories about anything. People have theories it’s a part of our curiosity. That’s all, I’m done ranting. Sorry if anybody gets crazy offended lol.

Nowadays in the Forum, we have an overwhelming amount of spam. We have Plagiarism. We have profane language and lots of personal attacks. It gave me an idea.

I think that the forums should have a flagging system, just like the article flagging.

It will go like this. A person who is trolling the Forums or spamming the forums or is having a neurotic attack and is taking their phycho ways on other people promoting personal attacks, should be flagged.

The flag button will be on the bottom of the page where issues are drawn. Each person in the Forums gets three warnings.

The flag will contain trolling, spam, plagiarism, and personal attacks.

The person will get three warnings. If they are warned three times, then they will get their final warning, then kicked out of the Forum.

I already addressed this issue with Triond. But you know how un responsive they can be.

And to all my friends, my mother and my dad and sister and brother, and everybody else who reads my articles, Triond’sForums are screwed to the max. There is a lot of hatred and smart aleck remarks towards others. People “spam” their articles when they know that that, is forbidden. Trolling is atrociously high.

I rarely hang out in the forums because of these reasons above. I just, “spy.” at random.

Anyway Triond will remove the Forums in time anyway. They are getting that gruesome.

Personally, I have a lot of thoughts that pop into my head. They make me wonder why, lol. Thi is one that just came to me .With the first thought, I am not racist or anything just asking. Okay my first thought, why do people of different races laugh at totally different things. One day I went to the movies and everyone in there was of the opposite race and everything they laughed at was stupid to me and i did not laugh, but everything I laughed at they didnt laugh at. It was this way in high school. Why is that? This is stupid to me.

A guitar that I found one day.

I found a guitar one day at Wal-Mart. It is a mid 40’s guitar but i have no idea about what brand it is. Also when I found it it had to nasty breaks in the back and had been sitting out in the weather for two days.

This guitar is a mid 1940’s classical archtop with a sunburst finish and it is missing its pickguard. This guitar “Mud” as I have deamed it was in bad shape when i found it. It had two narly cracks in the back paneling that were all the way from the base of the body to the neck of the guitar and had horrible tuning keys on it. The cracks in the guitar were fixed by a local guitar shop. Im still working on getting replacement keys for it so I can tune it easier and dont have to fight with the keys every time it falls a little out of tune.

Also, i have nol idea of the maker of this guitar. The shop that fixed it said that because the name was cut out of the headstock and the sticker in the soundhole had been covered with stain or something that this guitar had probably been stolen in its lifetime. I dont expect to ever get rid of it I plan to keep it in the family for awhile. If you know anything about this guitar I’d love to hear it..

please comment and tell me what you think.

This is another installment of things that make you go hmmm. I found 11 things that make you go hmmm. Some of these ponderables really are headscratchers and make you think. They may be hard to answer, but see which ones you can answer. Here are the 11 things that make you go hmmm.

Random
Would you rather live in a neighborhood where your house is the nicest and creates “neighbor envy” or would you rather have the ugliest and most run down house? I would rather have the nicest house and be envied than have a run down house. I wouldn’t want to be too embarrassed to go home to a run down house.

Embarrassment
Would you rather get your head stuck in a window while spying on a locker room or would you rather get your hand irretrievably snagged on someone’s zipper while trying to pick his or her pocket? This is definitely a hard one. If I had to choose, I would choose to have my head stuck in a window. This is embarrassing too, but at least I wouldn’t be caught attempting to steal.

Appearance
Would you rather be a woman with a mustache or be a man with large breasts? I am a woman so I would rather have a mustache. I could always cover it with make up if I couldn’t shave it off. It would be hard for a man to hide large breasts.

Random
Would you rather be stranded on a deserted island with a fantasy man or woman with whom you can have no physical contact or would you rather be stranded with a very unattractive person with whom you can have physical contact? This is another hard one. If I’m going to be stranded for a long time, then I would probably choose to be deserted with an unattractive person.

Appearance
Would you rather have 14 fingers or 16 toes? I think I would rather have 16 toes because I could put a sock on to cover my toes. Also, I could keep them covered with shoes so no one would have to see them. It would be harder to hide 14 fingers from people.

Ethics
Would you rather always grin and bear it or complain loudly and often for the rest of your life? I would rather grin and bear it because I am not someone who likes to complain all of the time. I wouldn’t want to complain for the rest of my life.

Ethics
Would you rather as a groom forget the ring or be one hour late for your wedding? I’m curious to find out what guys think of this question. If I were the bride, I think I would rather the groom be late than forget the ring. Weddings rarely start on time anyway so it wouldn’t be unusual if the groom were late.

Random
Would you rather never be able to complete a fantasy dream or always have nightmares? I would rather never be able to complete a fantasy dream because I don’t like having nightmares.

Discomfort
Would you rather always have a cold or always have an upset stomach? Both of these would be annoying and uncomfortable. If I had to choose, I would rather have an upset stomach. A cold could affect your entire body and an upset stomach wouldn’t do that. You could always get a heating pad to cure the upset stomach.

Ethics
Would you rather be embarrassed or watch someone else being embarrassed? I would rather watch someone else get embarrassed because it can be funny at times.

Appearance
Would you rather date someone who talks too loudly or date someone who stares? I think I’d rather date someone who talks too loudly. I don’t like being stared at even though I’m used to it since I’m a twin. I could always ask him to lower his voice.

These are the 11 things that make you go hmmm that I have for this installment. Were you able to answer the questions? Which ones were headscratchers for you? Hope you have fun answering the questions. I can’t wait to read your answers to these questions. I’ll be back with a new edition of things that make you go hmmm.

The goverment is ,so worried about not meeting their bills. I have one question for them is why pay drug user?

Couldn’t believe when I heard that the United State Government is paying drug user a monthly allowance. They are giving them the money to use drugs and paying for their place to live.

I was outraged and in shocked when I heard that. Not the United States was my answer. Come to find out they are doing that exact thing and all those people have to say is “I am not doing drugs anymore!” All those people have to do is say something and they are granted money.

I say the drug users should have to prove themselves before getting the money. Random drug test as well for the people receiving checks because they can’t hold a job due to their drinking problem. I think this is unbelievable and inexcusable.

Drug user and alcholis sneak behind family and friends to do it. Now, the United States and you, as a taxpayer are paying them for doing it. How do you feel about that?

Drug users are getting Social Security Disability and living in senior center building. Complaining they don’t get enough money to cover all their bills.

I am tired of earning about it. My answer is “Don’t do the drugs!” I didn’t force them to do the drinking or the drugs ,so why should my good tax money go to them.

The United States Government is allowing families with children to end up on the street-why not them? Let’s give them money also to help save their house! I could understand and accept that better. It would be going to a better cause.

To get on Social Security Disability, you have to jump through hoops and some people with disability are actually getting turned down cause there is no money to pay them

Make the drug user and alcohols prove that they aren’t doing it anymore. Random testing should be required to stay on the program. First time, they are discovered to be using, it is a warning, the second time, they are discovered doing it is that their money for several months is taking away and then the last time, they are discovered doing it kick them off the program all together.

No, let’s be soft on them while people with real problem are being forced on streets to live and families with children have no where to call home.

My random thoughts on how often Ive decided I need sex in my relationship.

A convo with my boyfriend and a thought sprung to mind…

I am not a sex addict but when I’m with him you better believe I need it more then once. However, I noticed that it isn’t just a plain ol’ “damn that was great gimme more”. Its like a craving. I need him to give me more and if I don’t get it I may end up cranky…

Now I ask is that normal?

Scratch that cause whats normal for some may not be for others. But is that a bad thing as a female? Or are we conditioned to believe that it isn’t lady like to sometimes think, feel or act like a man. After all, if there’s one thing we’re “supposed” to know about men, its that they are horn dogs and have to have sex all the time.

I realized that I need it at least twice a day, once or twice a week. Caught that? So I cant imagine that a guy would have a problem with his girlfriend wanting to get it in often unless she was god awful.

What I’ve also noticed is why I want it so much from HIM, because really I cant recall always being like this. He doesn’t beg for it, obviously he doesn’t have to but with him our convos aren’t just about sex. Our time together isn’t just sex. Yes he’ll grab at me when hes horny and a part of me lovesssss that, but then there are times where hes so content without wanting it or showing only a slight interest in it and that alone makes me want it. He doesn’t have to do anything but sit there and I’m all over him. SO let that be a lesson fellas, less is more.
