If you thought the Red Cross was a humanitarian organization then you are sorely misinformed. Nothing could be farther from the truth and there long history of brutality and prejudice along with misdirection of slated funds should be revealed. Yet, because of the political ties to the government and military have shielded them from exposure.

This humanitarian organization emerged in 1863 as a direct result of efforts by the Swiss Henri Dunant.
