Psychologists say that our personality traits play a distinct role in how healthy we are. Personality is described in several ways, it may be hostile, stressed, impulsive, relaxed or extrovert. We all have different or similar personalities, it&#8217;s either a healthy personality or it can be unhealthy.</p>
<p>A hostile personality can cause heart disease, it is characterized as an impatient, hard-charging Type A personality. Hostile people eat and smoke more than any other personality types, they exercise less and are most likely to be overweight and have higher blood pressure&nbsp;and cholesterol levels. Hostile people are likely to develop irregular heart rhythms and could die before reaching their 50s. This can be caused by elevated levels of the <u>stress hormone cortisol</u>.</p>
<p>Impulsive personality people are mostly Non-Type A, they take risks and act without thinking. Impulsive people are not as well-grounded as others, says psychologists, they see an opportunity and if it looks good to them they will take the risk, whereas others, give it some thought before reacting upon it. Impulsive people have a competitive and urgent nature.</p>
<p>Relaxed people are Type B, they take life a day at a time. They handle stress without cracking and the likelihood of attracting heart disease is low, they have no anxiety and that strengthens their immune system. Extrovert people are outgoing, involved in social activities and have close friendships. Their behavior improves their health by communicating well with others which reduces stress and improves coping skills.</p>

It means the communication should give a genuine look by a good match between verbal speeches, vocal cues and nonverbal signals. In many cases we fail to match these three affairs and cannot make our communication looking congruent.</p>
<p>There are few tips to make communications look congruent. These are as follows:</p>
<p><strong>Select the objective of your speech</strong>. If you can really select the goal or objective of your verbal speech, that will help you to select right words and with that right body language will appear by itself.</p>
<p><strong>Convince yourself with your message first</strong>. If you are convinced with your statements, that will put your body in synchronization automatically. So before speaking, think on the topic and convince yourself first. If you feel convinced, then speak up.</p>
<p><strong>Avoid Exaggeration while trying to convince others</strong>. This habit should be avoided. The more you try to do this, your body language; especially gestures will let you negative. Remain genuine with your statements without exaggerations.</p>
<p><strong>Control breathing while speaking</strong>. Try to inhale and exhale normally during conversations. If your breathing seems frequent, that will depict nervousness or sickness or tired. A relaxed mode of communication looks more congruent.</p>
<p><strong>Relaxed shoulder muscles</strong>. A tensed shoulder exposes anxiety. An anxious look cannot deliver a good news. So to avoid this type of situations, while talking; stretch your neck upward and this will instantly unlock your posture and your communication will look congruent.</p>
<p><strong>Talk with you in a mirror</strong>. It helps to match your verbal statement with your body language.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you ever wanted to just lie down and fall asleep or relax, but couldn&#8217;t? Or having a stressful day and your children just won&#8217;t stop nagging you (or your a teen and your mom won&#8217;t stop)? Stress is a real health problem, which can be significantly reduced just by laying down and relaxing.Today I&#8217;m going to tell you how to relax.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t need that much to start chilling, but you do need to have a few basic things at hand:</p>
<p>1.a soft, warm, quiet place to relax (a chair, bed, couch, sofa, hammock, floor, sand, etc.)</p>
<p>2.a memory of something good</p>
<p>3.a brain (couldn&#8217;t resist)</p>
<p>OK, so if you have all the things above you can get started.</p>
<p>1.get into the place to relax (see things #1)</p>
<p>2.think of something good, such as a good memory that you have.</p>
<p>3.close your eyes and try to picture the memory or other thought. See it, smell it, feel it, taste it, hear it.</p>
<p>4.just keep on thinking about this and focusing on it.</p>
<p>Now, if you can&#8217;t even get to step #1 then something is obviously wrong. Say that your kids are bugging you, or getting really loud, or just somehow annoy you by just being close. Or that your mom won&#8217;t let you be. Well that&#8217;s when you have to get creative. Try to get the children to go to a friends house, or put them in front of a television, or send them to the arcade (they won&#8217;t go anywhere else besides the arcade, believe me, I would know). Or just tell your mom that you just want to relax, and remind her of all the times that you&#8217;ve let her just lay down and stopped bugging her.</p>
<p>After a little while you should just drift slowly into the world that your thinking about, and when you get up you&#8217;ll feel refreshed in a type of way that reminds of of a sharp summer breeze. It really does help with a stressful day, and it often helps me  when I can&#8217;t go to sleep. Try it out sometime.</p>

<p>Is it possible for you to be relaxed in a given situation where others are totally stressed and frustrated?</p>
<p>Yes, it is very possible.</p>
<p>What we have here is one given situation with two frames of mind: Their stressed and frustrated frame of mind, and your relaxed and happy frame of mind.</p>
<p>How can that be possible? Why aren&rsquo;t you both wriggling in pain, feeling unhappy and all stressed out?</p>
<p>The answer is very simple.</p>
<p>You are both seeing the same situation but with a different mentality, a different state of mind. It is how you perceive the situation to be, not how or what the situation actually is that make all the difference.</p>
<p>So how can you stay calm when you find yourself in a &lsquo;wrong&rsquo; situation, or when times seem to be hard?</p>
<p>You have probably heard that &lsquo;what you focus on expands&rsquo;. If you focus on the unhappy things in life, inevitably the bad will increase. However, if you focus on the pleasant and happy things in your life you will be happy and relaxed most of the time. I say most of the time because life will test you and throw at you some curved balls. But, again, it is up to you how you react to those curved balls.</p>
<p>Life is full of choices. It is those choices that you make that will affect your live in the short and long term.</p>
<p>So why not live your life by making optimistic, cheerful and positive choices.</p>
<p>Take responsibility for your life and make the choices that make you happy. If you are stuck in a traffic jam and you are late for a meeting or a job interview, does cursing and slamming the steering wheel make the traffic jam go away? No. And, as I said earlier, what you focus on expands, you will get even more stressed and frustrated.</p>
<p>Instead, what not relax, focus on phoning and informing the relevant people that you are running late, and imagine yourself sitting calmly during the meeting or the interview. See yourself, in a large movie screen 6 feet away from you in full colour, smiling and acting in the best way.</p>
<p>You can watch others get more and more uptight, stressed out and frustrated. But not you. You are calm and collected. Your state of mind is relaxed, happy and focused on the happy things in your life, traffic jam or not.</p>
<p>By the way, you can use this movie screen method in all areas in your life. Instead of focusing on the things in life that you don&rsquo;t want, focus on what it is that you do want. Focus on what makes you relaxed and happy. Whenever you float into the unhappy side, shake yourself out of it and get right back to the happy you.</p>
<p>Let me tell you this, you will only be as happy or as sad as you think you are. Think happy and you will be happy, think you are sad and going through hard times, you will be sad and your hard times will escalate. That&rsquo;s how the brain works.</p>
<p>All thoughts lead to feelings. Make full use of your ability to direct your thoughts and enjoy life, your life as you want it to be.</p>
