Veterans Day is an important day for most Americans. It is a day to honor all those who keep this country safe and free and it is a day that we get to show our support.

Tomorrow’s tenth anniversary of 9/11 holds the world rapt in attention, but it also marks what is in fact this 51st post of September for me, so in a month where I have already passed the 150,000 views mark, there seems now to be cause for double celebration on the one hand, and every reason to raise a glass to the fallen on the other.

Sunday, September 11, 2001 marks the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on United States soil, which took the lives of too many. A touching and moving tribute to those who lost their lives and brand new "New York 9/11 Memorial Flag" unveiling marking this 10th anniversary remembrance.

Memorial Day; just another day, a long weekend, an excuse to invite friends over for a barbeque, the 1st day of Summer, or a day that should be used to honor and remember those who have fallen while fighting to defend this Nation?

Each year on second Sunday of May, it’s time for Mother’s Day celebration in United States.

As you age it is only natural to turn to reading the obituaries as a means of keeping up with people you’ve known. Where do the writers get their lame material?
