They were here first, long before the white man, those Europeans arrived. The Native people, those folks we call Indians, Native Americans were here for thousands of years before any European ever set foot on this soil. This is their homeland.

Reservations were introduced in India while framing constitution, to ensure equality to all, and raise the bar of SC/ST/OBC in country who was not able to get all the facilities.
But is this system still required and is it valid without any modifications, after 64 years of independence, so many things have changed; and then why don’t we modify this system to suit the current needs.
Politicians are still promoting it, just to keep their vote bank safe and people using it for various interests but, is it still valid in its current format.
