When you look at the price of your goal in comparison to what you are willing to pay to obtain it and then conclude if the reward is really worth the cost. Your decision to press on to your goal regardless the cost is when we reach a “turning point” in life.

Life is not fair to most of us.

Compassion in general covers a whole gamut of feelings, such as pity, kindness, clemency, charity, forgiveness, etc. We would have lived in a chaotic world in which malice and cruelty would have been rampant and life itself would have succumbed to perennial pain and suffering.

The free market fosters respect and manners in commerce. Socialism and government created monopolies allow to flourish companies that do not show respect and courtesy to customers. If we wish to have a more polite, respectful society, we must foster free market systems and institutions.

In many cases, marriage fail because couples are focused on what’s wrong with their life together rather than on what is right with it.

The notion that people are either rewarded or punished for what they do in a relatively short span of time for eternity is ludicrous. These beliefs were obviously created to scare children and control people.

Winning for free is not necessarily free. There is always a catch.
