Grimmverse! It’s a unique Twitter role play and ranks among my personal favorites. It’s playful, interesting and intelligent. It’s also extremely complex. The storylines are fast-paced with multiple plot developments. Each chapter builds on the ones before and doesn’t necessarily stand on its own. Most of the characters are magical creatures. They die and come alive again. They transform, mutate and travel through space and time. Besides the main cast of more than a dozen characters there are many temporary characters. In conversations on Twitter, the characters occasionally interact without specifically directing their replies. Despite the challenges of following along, John Grimm, Cierra Rose, Legs Wesson, Dean Winchester, Sam Guthrie and the others are well worth the effort.

Today I’ll be speaking with:

Grimmverse Headquarters (@Grimmverse) Out of character and update account for the role play and website, which is rumored to be run by…can this be? Goblins!

John Grimm (@ReaperAsInGrimm) The handsome hero and central character of the role play who is host to a brash, unexpectedly charming demon named Reaper. Reaper’s responses are enclosed by dashes to separate them from John’s.

Ianto Jones (@TeaboyNoMore) One of the Torchwood team who, like John, carries a demon – Weevil.

@korikatra: Welcome gentlemen, demons, goblins! Thank you so much for making time to answer my questions!

@Grimmverse: First, thanks so much for taking the time to watch us. We are, primarily out for our own enjoyment and we understand that can make following us difficult. John’s answering most of the questions, with the exception of one or two that he honestly doesn’t know.

@korikatra: Ok then, John, let’s start with Legs Wesson (@ShotgunInsuranc). She’s described as “sensitive and from a Family of Hunters.” Later she’s referred to as “fae” and has unique powers. What is she?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: When I first met Legs– threw her over my shoulder and dragged her out of a hunt she was over her head in– she was a sensitive and the Wesson family goes way back in the Hunting circles. She was raised to it. Later on, we found out that she was a sensitive because she was part fae. Someone in her family tree is a faery…. So she’s fae. Long story short. Kinda.

@korikatra: I see. Why did David Shepherd (@ShepherdHunter) have Dean Winchester’s (@CallMeDean) car at the Mission? What is the significance of the black ‘67 Impala? Is Dean the only member of the team who is from 2010?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: David inherited the car from his father, who bought it at auction. That Impala was Dean’s father’s. It’s Dean’s last piece of his family and he left it behind when he came into the future. 

-It’s Dean’s teddy bear.-

@korikatra: *stifles a giggle* Yes, next question! What does UAC stand for? At the UAC, Dean witnessed Sam Guthrie (@bottlerocketgal) revive from the dead. Are all members of John’s team immortal?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: UAC stands for ‘United Aerospace Corporation’. And… no. Dean’s not immortal, neither is Legs. Technically, we’re all killable.

@korikatra: When Shepherd gives you a bone-handled knife, it cuts you. The cut burns and doesn’t heal immediately. This is taken as “the final piece of evidence that Reaper is, indeed, a demon.” How does it prove that?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: From what I understand, the knife was forged in hell and brought out by a demon named Ruby. The knife was created to kill demons. Its reaction to me… Well, that specific reaction, proved Reaper was a demon because that’s what it does to demons. 

@korikatra: Your girlfriend, Cierra Rose (@KittehHasClaws) and the knife Shepherd delivered to you disappear, taken by the demon, Dick. Dick then beheads you with Ruby’s Knife. Is this the same bone-handled knife? Cierra is driven to try to kill her friends because of “Dick’s geas”. What’s a geas?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Well, Ruby’s the original ‘owner’ of the knife, and yeah, it’s the same one Shep gave me. A geas is a command or spell someone is under that they have to obey. They are compelled to via the spell or magic binding them.

@korikatra: There is a temporary but important character called Adam. Why was Legs the only one who didn’t recognize Adam? What kind of creature is Adam?

@Grimmverse: Hi! (Goblins now.) John doesn’t remember Adam. (Legs was away when Adam showed up.) Adam has to touch you for his tricks to work. (He’s an alien that lives on the energy created by memory….) So he inserts himself into people’s lives and lives on the people around him. (If you don’t remember him, he can’t exist! So Cas wiped everyone’s memories.)

@korikatra: Thanks, Goblins! Back to you, John, how are you still alive after being beheaded? How could the demon Dick use you as a host when you were already host to Reaper?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Ha! Yeah… I wasn’t really beheaded… Dick needed to buy time so he used an illusion– apparently he was good at those– to fake it. And Dick wanted to separate Reaper from me and then use what was left.

@korikatra; Who is Jimmy Novak and what is his connection to the team?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Jimmy…. He’s a great guy. I kinda feel bad for him. He’s Cas’ vessel… That is, the body Cas is using was a walking, talking, person with a life named Jimmy… He gave up everything for Cas to be able to come to Earth. 

-Apparently Angelcakes’ actual size is more like the Chrysler Building….-

@korikatra: After the ordeals involving Dick and Adam, Reaper is gone. Eventually, Reaper ends up in a mirror. How does he get there?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: -Hey… I was never really gone…. I was just… Everything operates on energy right? Well… Dick sapped mine when he tried to separate me. And well… I had to regroup. So John couldn’t feel me or hear me… He got a vacation.- 

Reaper wound up in the mirror because mirrors are soft spots. You can look into mirrors and see things that can’t be seen normally. Reaper was stuck between this world and the next– not quite a ghost, not quite a shade– and could step into the mirrors and be perceived. Later, when he got stronger, he was a shadow as well.

@korikatra: Sam tries to help you and Reaper reconnect using the spell Giles gave to Dean.
Who’s Giles?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Dean and Legs had a small issue with something and wound up in a place called Sunnydale. Sunnydale was an alternate reality from us… Dean said they were a TV show. Go figure. Giles was a man there who knew some stuff and gave Dean something to try and help.

@korikatra: There are mysterious ‘suits’ who interfere with the work of your team. The question is asked, “Are these people government or what?” Are they Torchwood? What exactly is Torchwood anyway?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: The suits are…. Difficult to understand. They’re part of the Technarch. They want to remove all creativity and change from the world– make it static, unchanging and always the same, easy to predict. They are not officially part of the government, but they do have their hands in a lot of pies. 

-They aren’t Torchwood. My little bro wouldn’t last five minutes with them.-

Shut up, Reaper. Anyway, Torchwood’s an agency that operates outside the law… They deal with the extraterrestrial stuff and things that pop through the various soft spots in the world… They call them ‘rifts’.

@korikatra: Legs ends up spending 5 years in a Labyrinth which translates to 5 days in real life. What was the purpose of her time in Labyrinth? When she returns to the hotel, she reaches into the mirror to comfort Reaper and he’s scared. Why?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Her time in the Labyrinth was getting to know her fae side. She was going through a second puberty, basically. When she comes back, she does something no one should be able to to do…. And Reaper’s a chicken.

-Am not.-

@korikatra: Where is Cardiff? What’s the difference between Torchwood 3 and Torchwood 4? Is there a Torchwood 1 and 2 somewhere? What is their purpose? How did Hart & Jack become involved with the Grimmverse team?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: I think I’ll hand this one over to Ianto for you… He’s more familiar with the Torchwood things…

@TeaboyNoMore: Ah, Cardiff is in Wales. It’s the home base of Torchwood 3. And yes, there was a 1 and a 2. I was originally employed with 1 as a junior researcher, actually. The multiple locations were only to cover more ground. Personally, I’d have more than one Torchwood in America… but the Americas are touchy, therefore there is only one. Hart and Jack apparently met John and Company via Twitter, through Owen, interestingly.

@korikatra: Jack Harkness (@FixedPointJack) and John Hart (@IWasAGoodWife) use Vortex Manipulators. Does this make them Time Agents? Is Owen Harper (@StillDrHarper) a Time Agent as well?

@TeaboyNoMore: Yes, Jack and John are Time Agents. Owen is not.

@korikatra: Ianto, you have a demon named Weevil, just as John has Reaper. What is a weevil? When he pulls a feather from the wings of Castiel (@CastielRising), the angel is surprised. Why?

@TeaboyNoMore: A weevil is a small insect– Mm. You mean the weevil that Weevil was named for. Owen named Weevil after a creature we’re very familiar with from Torchwood 3. They were a semi-harmless race that tended to be scavengers. Until things get unbalanced and then they lash out. They are sized like humans, live in packs, have a hive mentality, and are stronger and faster than humans. Owen saw Weevil hunched in a corner, growling, and assumed. Instead, he got me.

Castiel’s wings are intangible and invisible until he chooses to make them so. Weevil is able to perceive Castiel’s– and Gabriel’s– wings despite this. That, combined with his ability to pluck a feather from something he shouldn’t be able to touch? This was disturbing for the angel. Amazing that the unknown could cause an angel issue.

@korikatra: During their trip to the Caribbean, the Team encounters a kracken. What is a kracken?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: I’ll take back over from Ianto for now. Sorry I couldn’t answer those for you, darlin. Simply put, a kraken is a sea creature that looks like a giant bundle of seaweed given a beak and an eye. It’s a ‘monster’ and they’re rare– usually ships get attacked by sea serpents or giant squid. They’re debatably intelligent and apparently curious.

@korikatra: Gabriel is introduced as a deceased archangel who is looking for Castiel. How can an immortal be deceased? How can he be deceased yet searching for Cas? What is the difference between an angel and an archangel? There is a fight with someone named Raphael. Is he an angel too? Castiel believes he can’t help because his powers are low. Later they are recovered. What causes this ebb and flow of angel power?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: -Hot wings played dead once– ran off to join the pagans and played dead to his own siblings– then was actually killed by his brother, Lucifer. So he was actually dead.-

What Reaper’s leaving out, is that someone– something?– has apparently brought Gabe back from the dead. Umm… Archangel’s are like God’s first kids… Lucifer, Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. The other angels are the secondary generation…. Less power there, apparently.

Cas had an ‘ebb’ of power because his dick brother, Raphael, cut him from heaven. Without being attached to that source, he had no power to use. Never could have been done to an Archangel, but Cas isn’t one. So Gabe loaned Cas some of his Grace– his power– and they went and took care of Raphael.

@korikatra: Ben Braeden is recognized by Dean but he ends up being the demon who once possessed Dean. Castiel exorcises the demon and frees the real Ben. He seems important. Who is he?

@ReaperAsInGrimm: Ben Braeden is possibly Dean’s kid. We’re all betting on it. If Ben is or isn’t Dean’s, it doesn’t really matter because Dean feels responsible for the kid and wants to make sure he’s okay. 

-I’m saying he’s Dean’s cause we all know Dean banged Lisa like a screen door in a gale and—

Yeah. That’s enough of that.

@korikatra: *grins* Thank you for speaking with me today, it’s been enlightening! Is there anything you’d like me to add that I haven’t asked about? Maybe a teaser on your upcoming plans or random Grimmverse trivia?  

@Grimmverse: Interesting facts? Umm… Watch the NPCs that get named but don’t get on the NPC account. Some of them are fun references to other TV shows/book series/movies/etc… and one or two might be past characters making a comeback… You never know with us!

There are all kinds of breeds of vampire in Grimmverse. And they’re mostly named for the ‘anthropologist’ who discovers them. For instance the Whedonites, named for Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Harrisites, the breed of vampire in the Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris (Also known as Trueblood). There are references to ’sparklepires’ a specific race of vampires in the Pacific Northwest.

Grimmverse tends to be rather tongue in cheek, though we can be pretty serious for the storylines. If we make a reference to something and you think you know what it’s from, @ the Grimmverse account and the Goblins will be sure to let you know if you’re right. We can be a giant game of Nerd sometimes.

Fun fact: The Team’s phones rarely run out of battery life. Why is this? There is actually a piece of technology in development today, in our timeline, that allows batteries to recharge via friction– i.e. as you move around, the battery recharges itself from the friction of the particles in the air moving against it. We appropriated that and made it real and in massive use.

Our plans for the future are just that: We have a lot going on and do plan to continue– we’ve made it past a year now, as of July 5th! But in our stories: What’s happening with the Hellfire Club? Shaw (@BlackKingShaw) occasionally makes rumblings about ‘plans’… And that Chuck (@OhMyChuck) guy, who the hell is he, anyway? If it’s over why is he still mooching off David, and why is he still getting visions?

Again, thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I hope our answers weren’t too long or rambling and I hope we answered the questions for you.  The website does have some good background information, but we’re always willing to answer question on the timeline. No one should ever worry about poking one of us and asking something. If we don’t know, we’ll come up with an answer. We love interaction and have gotten some good play in the past from people being friendly. If you have any further questions, please let me know. (And the Goblins!) Don’t forget us! It is up to you as the male figure to be the dominant one and “explore” the female body.

Keep in mind that every girl is extremely different in every way regardless of slight similarities in appearance or even in their desires.

They all have their differences. These five places are very common in females and even if not their main sensual will arouse them to no extent.

First I will list some rules that you will need to follow before you can consider these places of any use to you.

Rule 1) The golden rule. TAKE IT SLOW. We are not gorillas, neanderthals, or cavemen before the time of neanderthals. Love making is a very passionate thing and females should be considered beautiful creatures. If you do everything slowly it will make it ten times more sensual to a female.

Rule 2) MAKE THEM WANT IT – It should be your lifelong goal to have the female your with want you more then you want them, (or at least to where they think they do), to the point where you can get what you want whenever you want and sexual favors will not be held against you or considered rewards for good behavior. Let me remind you, gentlemen, we are not dogs. If you hold back from giving it up completely just a little bit and take the time to make them want it and ask for it – you will get farther. Maybe you “veterans” know better than me in your opinion, but I get mine everyday, not every week, not every month, not on my birthday. Three times a day if I so choose.

Rule 3) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! – Yes that’s right. Places DO matter! Everything matters in this situation. You may think you have it down to an art – well my friend – You just may be wrong. Sure in the backseat of your car – wherever you may be seems like the right place. No – Not even your bed is always the right place. You need to find a very comforting place to be. Things such as light aromas, lighting, and even the paint of your bedroom can set the mood! You may never find that perfect place but at least now you know to start looking!

Rule 4) FABRIC – Yes, that’s the only real name to describe what I am about to tell you. Everything from your clothing, to your sheets, even your boxers matter! Maybe you consider your whitey tighteys and your thick woolen blankets appealing! WRONG! Remember fellows – we are not cavemen, although I’m pretty sure a loincloth would be more appealing for some people than your plain white (or not) pair of skin tight underwear. Now is the time to consider investing in ANY form of boxers, not excluding even the cheapest packages from Wal-Mart. Also, you may find yourself sweating more because of the temperature in your room, the clothes you wear, and that huge woolen blanket. Invest in soft, thin, blankets that can be removed or added in quantity to fit the temperature of your environment.

Rule 5) TIMING – Yes, that’s right… Just like the golden rule. Take your time, wait until you know for sure that she wants you to proceed. Consider that if you rush into it she may realize that you want her alot more than she is wanting you. She will slowly grow into using sexual activities as bribes, and then even sooner she will use them as punishment. All of you guys know as well as I do that this means hitting where it hurts. Love making is a cure to all pain and can fix many problems or make you forget problems in your past. You just need to find the right timing.

OK, now for the 5 places that you should consider trying out.

1) The ears! – Start by small, slow kisses along the jawline, making your way to the neck and then to the ear. The slower the better. Then when you reach the ears begin by taking the area where a piercing is most commonly placed between your teeth without biting and using the tip of your tongue to move along behind the ear.

2) The Stomach (belly button) – Run the tip of your tongue all around the stomach and the waistline before making your way up. Don’t rush anything and don’t stop if it tickles her, relax her by staying where it doesn’t tickle and then try again.

3) The Thighs – It is very important that you take your time doing this and continue using your tip of your tongue to extremely slowly progress farther up her body.

4) The Neck – The two places most ignored by male figures is the back of the neck. It is easily accessible on many occasions that I know you can imagine. Take a second and lean in and gently kiss the back of your girls neck. It won’t go unnoticed. Small kisses under the jawline are appreciated too – No hickeys now

5) The Hips – The pelvic bone is very sensitive and whether it be foreplay or closed door play it is very important that when either holding or kissing this area you are gentle and treat the area with care! A lot of people make the point that people who dress up or hide behind a costume are either lacking in self confidence or not happy with themselves. I’m not endorsing pathological, chronic costume-wearing, just advocating the fun of mixing up the routine and escaping reality for a little bit. Also, dressing up allows you to experience the company or someone who you’ll never meet in the comfort and safety of your own home. Like if you have a thing for Batman, you can just talk your boyfriend into wearing the outfit And if you happen to be wearing a Joker costume, where’s the harm?

Sorry if I deeply disturbed anyone with that last example, it’s a subject close to my heart. That may not be your fantasy, but everyone has then and it’s healthy to explore them. If you want to experience something different, out of the realm of the ordinary, them you can – safely.

I also believe that the outfits we choose to dress up in say a lot about ourselves. That’s why halloween is such a great night, you find out a lot about your friends. There’ll always be hoardes of young women in skin-tight cat outfits (which I’m not complaining about by the way) but I love seeing really unique outfits.

Essentially, role playing is a fun and exciting option which is open to all of us to expand our realm of experience outside the ordinary; escape the square we live in every day - just for a little while.

Forget chat up lines, the only thing you will receive from this type of effort is a laugh. And that will be at you.

Don’t try and show off to the point where you’re actually making yourself look foolish. The worst thing you can do is start flashing your muscles, getting your privates out or slapping your mates around. If you have got it, let your clothes show it.

Never over drink the alcoholic fuel that is saturating your mind into a toxic state of over confidence. Take your time and enjoy tasting the drink as opposed to just downing it. It doesn’t look that great from a woman’s perspective.

Dress sharp, cut your nails and make sure your smelling good. Always wear clean shoes and be self conscious about what looks good on you.

If she’s smiling at you and there is good eye contact, go over and say hi. Talk to her and introduce your self. If she’s not interested, so what! You were only saying hello and being polite. You will get more NO’s than the almighty YES. Accept it and move on. You have got all night and you are not every woman’s taste.

Intermediate

Talk to a woman like she is one of your friends. This will take the pressure off thinking about what to say. Your vocal distribution, tone and pitch will come across more natural and understandable. If your going to talk to her like you want to have sex with her, or your thinking about sex while speaking, this will come across and make you look like your only after one thing.

Complements go along way. Don’t over complement but always remark on what they are wearing. Their shoes, accessories or even the way they smell, this always goes down well. Remember they spend hours getting ready and demand recognition.

If they break and walk away, don’t panic. This is natural, as they need confirmation from friends that you are ok. Don’t worry if you see her talking to another man. That’s her way of showing you that she is desirable and wanted. That’s just what they do. If she comes back after a good ten minutes with a cracking smile on her face then all is good.

Once you have established a relationship through talk, jokes, looks, whispers and introducing friends then you are on your way to a number and second date.

Advanced

The cheeky asks. When it’s getting late you can try for the score. Think open questions or just one-word action phrases. With a look smile and open hand gestures they have a good results. Some good ones to use are.

• What you doing later, later?
• Coffee or tea then?
• Few drinks at mine?
• Hungry?
• Cuddle?

If she frowns looks down for to long or ignores the question. Don’t ask again. Keep your cool and ask her if you can call her tomorrow or through the week.

To understand a woman’s body language takes time and mainly involves watching her facial expressions, eye movement, hand gestures and listening to her voice patterns. When you start picking up on these you can use them to make her feel more comfortable, desired and sexy. At first everything will seem to go fast, but your mind starts slowing things down, as you become more aware to potential outcomes.

Listen to her, be patient and don’t be afraid to stroke her arm, give her a cuddle or stand close to her. Wait for the right moment, but this depends on your personality type and how quickly you can react to a situation. In short, be your self and practice makes perfection.

You will get it wrong on many occasions but we all do. That’s what makes us human.

Never abuse a good system, and treat the ladies with respect and love.
