Detailed description about Rosa Park’s life and her impact on society.

This essay proves that the Civil rights movement of the 50’s and 60’s targeted the failures of reconstruction after the Civil War.

Rosa Parks was a forty three year old African American seamstress in 1955. She lived in Montgomery Alabama. On this day, her refusal to give up her seat on the city bus led to upheaval heard around the world.

This state was one of the state that wanted to keep slavery, with Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, the Federal Supreme Court, made it illegal to obtain or “purchase” a slave after the law passed.

Ok so I know you don’t see many people writing about this so I thought maybe I should put it up. I wrote this back in 7th grade yeah it’s been a good 3-4 yrs. I didn’t write this because the teacher said so I wrote it because we watched a movie and I decided too.
