The following abstract deals with the most common thing that everyone face in life... "Failure". the next few lines deals with what not to do when you face failure, and why so...??

Failure; according to oxford means ‘not able to get success’, but going by the data and record analysis of all the leading medical institutes in our nation it seems that the today’s generation has a far more smaller definition with just one word to compile it all up “SUICIDE”.
Suicide means ‘the intentional killing of oneself and I’m damn sure that if we ask even a third grade child that are they alike, then he would laugh off and say “are you mad?” then why does the same child grows up and himself forgets the difference between them!
If we take a closer look at the statistical data of health and living condition of the students around the globe, then I am pretty much sure that even a blind will be able to figure out that India tops the list in suicidal activities. Why does the new generation not realize the gift, the treasure, the happiness, the enchantment that life brings along due course. Today’s youth has a very simple funda rather I should say a very idiotic one; if you do not pass the exams, hang; if you are rejected by a girl; cut your nerve or drink some god damn rum, Madeira, and become some Devdas and all; if you don’t get selected in IIT; swallow some damn rat poison or hang yourself by the ceiling. But they don’t realize that by running away from the situation or by ending up their life they still have not got the answer to the question, they don’t realize that they are not merely ending up one life, with them their parents also lose interest in life, but still they continue their life because “if someone dies, the world does not die with him“. Before taking any such step stop and just think about the faces that have brought you up, watched you grow, did everything they could do just for your one smile of yours when you were sad, when you demanded for a toy and they any how managed to buy you that no matter how costly it was and when they will see the dead body of you lying on some pyre or inside a coffin what will happen to their hopes, their life, their emotions their feelings. Why does the new generation not care about the people who love them, and why does they have a god damn heart so small to accommodate their selfish feelings in them and desires only about which they think and are concerned about and care for. Why the bloody hell they don’t realize that it is not failure or success that matters, but what matters is how much hurdles one has to overcome while trying to achieve success.

The current generation or the age of machines is veraciously called so, although they have a heart that beats only on the vibration of success and it thumps on the sound of failure and still they say that they have a very large heart while proposing a girl…!!

I have just one simple question that is the heart a normal human heart or is it some kind of storage device with just storing memory with nil feelings…???

This is just song lyrics that I wrote for a song that I just can't fit together correctly. So now it's just a bunch of words. Enjoy!

Baby don’t be so low. Because I’m not high enough to be your hero. Babe you got to be strong. If you’re not I won’t be here for long… What’s up with all these stupid love songs being so one sided? It’s always I love you and you love me and I’m so excited. Well that doesn’t last too long. And you know baby that one day I’ll be gone. So you hang around and act like a dick as if I don’t mind. Well I see it and it makes me feel like shit. Can you even change and maybe realize this time I need saving. You sit there and talk as if I don’t hear and your body language sure as hell ain’t saying “baby I love you”. And then you get mad when I say you don’t love me when you’ve made no effort to change it. But to tell you baby I actually do. I actually do love you. So baby don’t be low because I can’t be your hero and you have to be strong because I wont stick around for too long. You can only go so long without saying I love you if you actually mean it. So you better say it and say it soon so I just might believe it. Because if you don’t I wont be there to say it. ”I love you” That’s all I want to hear from you right now. But I don’t believe it. Baby where’s the passion. What’s up with all these stupid love songs being so misleading? Because it’s starting to feel like I love you and some cricket noises. And I’m not excited. It’s actually making me a little depressed. But yet I’m still here waiting for you to mean it. And to be honest I’d wait forever just to hear it just like you used to say it. Or at least until you tell me that you don’t want to mean it. Baby don’t be so low. Because right now I need a hero. And babe you got to be strong. Because I don’t have the strength to pull myself along.

Their are many things that affect todays society; Violence, war, drugs, and addiction are just a few. Can we stop it? Maybe, Maybe not.

We are all notice the amount of violence and problems that todays society has, and the main question that comes to mind is can we stop the madness? I cant really say yes or no to this question all i can really tell you is what i believe and how i think we could look at things in society.

One of the main things that i am all about as a person, is world peace! If i could have anything in the world it deffintly would be world peace, a lot of people say that world peace is impossible to accomplish, and i completly agree with that statment because as long as we have people that are thinking like that, then yes their wont ever be “peace on earth”. But if everyone in the world truly believed that we could accomplish world peace then we could deffintly achieve it. Most people look at it as a big picture and say oh thats gonna be a lot of work to make everyone be peaceful; it doesnt have to be like that. If you want to make a change in the world look at yourself and change who you are in yourself before you even attempt at changing something else in this world.

Another thing that i see as a big problem in todays society is that people are not grateful for what they have; they always look at it as if they always need something else, and its part of human nature to feel that way but if you make yourself stop and think for a moment, and say to yourself hey their are people out their that dont even have enough money to feed their familys or even themselves. Just saying that to myself makes me be thankful for all the things that i have in my life, including my family, my house, my friends, my teachers…, etc. A lot of people in under privledged countries or even people here in the United states don’t have the privledge to have some of these things, so all that i am saying is please be grateful for the things you have.

I am gonna some it up and leave it at this. “If you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and make a change” (Man In The Mirror, Michael Jackson) That is the truest statment i have ever heard in my entire life. If you guys are with me on changing the world, first change yourself and make the best person that you can be!

I Love you all!!

A Summery of the French Revolution.

The French Revolution was a horrible time, but not just because of the terrible things the people did. “Everything must be reformed” was what the French people spoke. What happened prior to the revolution, the reasons for the revolution? The French Revolution did not happen overnight. It happened over the course of years.

One of the main issues was debt. Louis XIV dug a hug pit of debt to fund his war efforts. The taxes went up and the morale went down. Great Britain was also in a financial downward, but their taxes effected everyone while in France the clergy and nobility were exempted. This was a bad move for France. Its citizens worked hard to earn their money while the nobles did nothing. Another problem was the scarcity of food. Certain crops failed in the 1780s which cause shortages which in turn led to higher prices. Peasants could not afford any more food at these higher prices. During the American Revolution, King Louis XVI helped America during its time of need, but not without a costly coin. These events led to their financial and agricultural crisis.

“Tax them too!” That is what the citizens cried. In May 1789 the King summon the Estates-General at Versailles – this was the first time since 1614. The Estates-General was a legislative assembly of different classes; clergy, nobles, and the commoners – the Third Estate. There were only three basic votes – one for each class. The reason for summoning the Estates-General was to decide whether the King should tax the nobles and clergy. Since the Estates-General was two-thirds nobles and clergy the act fell through. The Third Estate complained because they represented ninety-seven percent of the population. The Third Estate was enraged and broke away from the bond that tied the nation together, calling themselves the “National Assembly”.

The French Revolution was about to begin. On July 14, 1789 the Assembly stormed the Bastille prison – Bastille Day. In August the Assembly rid feudalism and wrote the Declaration of the Rights of Man. Paper money was made which led to inflation. In June 1791 the King tried to flee with some nobles, – his flight to Varennes – but was caught. They forced the King to sign a new constitution which gave half of his powers to the National Assembly. The people separated in to their own factions, Feuillants, Girondins, and Jacobins. War was waged on Austria and Prussia. The war did not go so well due to the money it took out of France’s pocket. On January 21, 1793 King Louis XVI was executed by the guillotine. The citizens of France thought by his death the revolution could advance further. The country was in an outburst, the people started to riot and others started counter-revolutions. The Committee of Public Security came under the control of Maimilien Robespierre. The Reign of Terror began. Thousands were killed by the guillotine to “further” the revolution. Many were killed by false accusations of counter-revolutions. Although some were accurate death was completely uncalled for. On July 28, 1794 Maximilien was executed by the guillotine.

In 1795 a new constitution was made. Executive power was held by five directors appointed annually by a bicameral parliament. The bicameral parliament was made up of 500 representatives and 250 senators. And eventually on November 9, 1799 Napoleon Bonaparte gained power and proclaimed emperor.

Thus ends the French Revolution and it all started with debt. Debt and bad whether that killed crops revealed the hatred in people. Although the citizen’s intentions seemed right in the beginning, the result of their thoughts of liberation turned out to be tragic. The people formed their “National Assembly” and started their revolt. Innocent lives were killed during the revolution. Even if you looked at someone wrong he could get you killed by accusing you of a counter-revolution. It was a terrible time that we pray never repeats.

It will take some more tear drops
to wash away the residues and stains
left over
after every thing’s over!

It will take some more nights

and some more mornings,
to let the dust of time

fall upon the canvas
and fade its hues
out from my heart!

It will take some more nightmares,
some nightmares even worse than that night
to forget a dream!

Every time you utter Love
everytime I think
you call me!
It will take sometime
to change my thinking!

Every time the door bell rings
everytime my heart anticipates.
It will take sometime
to not expect!

Every time I decide to forget
every time I remember you more.
It will take sometime
for me to come out of you!

It will take sometime,
just a lifetime
to accept and absorb the truth
that this life …
was never meant to be with you!

It will take some more deaths
to finally die!

Are your relationships over almost before they begin? Why can't you keep a long term relationship going long term? Don't let heartbreak ruin your life.

Another one got away. It’s heart-wrenching when you’re broken up with again and again. It’s heart-wrenching even if you’re the one doing the breaking up. Why does this continue to happen and what can you do about it?

While it’s true that you have to kiss a few frogs before you find that prince or princess, if it keeps happening over and over again there may be a problem. Let’s see if we can find out what it is.

First of all, you need to think about what you’re looking for. No, I mean what you’re REALLY looking for. If you constantly become disappointed in your boyfriend/girlfriend, what are you missing when you first met?

Are you blinded by beauty? Power? Money? If you’re swept off your feet simply because of looks, position or wealth, you’re going about the whole thing wrong. I’m sure you’re thinking you don’t want to end up with someone who is ugly, out of work, and impoverished but how have your choices wound up so far?

You only have to go and sit in the mall for an hour watching the people walking by to come to the realization that most of them didn’t get married based on looks – or at least stay married! Add that to the fact that looks fade over the years and you have to admit, beauty isn’t the best thing to base a choice on.

Think of your friends and how close you are to them. How many of them are beauty queens or kings? Would you like them more if they were? Would they be better friends? How many of them are CEO’s in their own companies? Or jet-setting millionaires? Is it important if they aren’t?

It isn’t that it’s bad to be pretty, powerful or rich. It just shouldn’t be the priority.

Second, in those relationships that went south, what was it that you came to dislike? Think carefully about the questions below. This will begin to really show you what kind of person you’re looking for and what kind of a person you are.

If someone does or says things that give you a funny feeling about them would you ignore it?

Would you stay with someone who is cruel to animals or children? How about someone who dislikes animals or children?

Someone who is rude to your family? (either to their faces or behind their backs to you).

When they’ve had a tough day, do they take it out on you? Or do they reach out to you, tell you about it, appreciate your take on it?

When they’re sick do they expect the world to stop while you take care of them? (We’re talking cold or flu here, not leukemia!)

Do they understand who you are as a person, and back you up in social situations or do they use your foibles as the butt of jokes and jabs when you’re with friends?

Are they over-controlling and expect you to do everything their way instead of discussing options and issues and compromising ?

How are they with money? Being a miser is just as bad as over-spending.

Are they abusive? Mean? (If so, be glad they’re gone!)

And the really big question: Does any of the above describe YOU? If you aren’t the most balanced person to live with, don’t cast any stones!

To summ it up, my advice to you would be:

1. Figure out your own problems and begin to work on them.

2. Figure out why you’re picking the wrong people to begin with.

3. Get to know someone a little better as a friend before starting to date them (friends make the best lovers!).

4. While you’re getting to know someone, if you get that little funny feeling that something isn’t right… it probably isn’t.

And remember, being alone doesn’t have to be lonely. Learn to enjoy your life inside of a relationship and outside of one!

        by S.Tilghman Hawthorne

A set of lyrics I wrote that helped me get through a bad break-up I had from a long time ago. Thought maybe it could help someone else out there get through one too. Love can hurt but music can heal, or at least the thoughts that music presents. Hope you enjoy, and hope this helps.

I’m lying here in my own self provoked misery. To blind to see the truth standing right in front of me. How many years have I wasted? How many times did I fake it? Too bad it’s too late can’t go back and change the wrong decisions that I made. I was stuck in a position and had I changed it what would I be missing? Put yourself in my situation where would you be standing?

I’m sorry for all the mistakes I made, for all the pain I’ve caused you. For everything I put you through, I’m sorry about that too. I’m sorry for everything I do, and for that fact that I love you, but I had to put my feelings on that line. All I wanted was a shot at once upon a time, too bad everyone lies, nothing ends in a fairytale storyline.

All I needed was one chance to get it right, but as per normal I screwed it up again, and I’ve been lost since then. I was to young to know I was walking away from everything I ever wanted, because at 16 you’re stupid, you don’t know a damn thing. The sad part is it didn’t take me long to realize I walked away from my reason to be.

Everything about you invites me in, calls my name, can’t you see it’s always been that way. I tried to hide it, tried to run from it, but my heart kept pulling me back to you. I was scared to tell the truth, and now the reasons why are so clear, because they are real. I was hoping for a story worth telling, but this story has a less epic ending. My heart is gone, an empty space you never knew you used to take. You sing about sweet tragedies, that’s all our story seems to be.

Three reasons why he won’t admit that he betrayed you.

Ladies – if you have ever been in a position where you found out your partner had cheated a while back but never told you, you might be swearing to make his life hell and quite rightly too! However, there are a number of reasons that he may not have owned up to cheating on you. These might not make sense to you but in his mind they did at the time and perhaps this information can help you ditch him and move on or give the relationship another try.

Firstly, he may not have admitted to it because he didn’t think that you would ever find out. In some ways this almost makes sense – if you don’t need to be hurt, he is not going to. Unfortunately you obviously did find out which means that his plan didn’t go quite as he expected but at the same time, he was trying to spare your feelings!

The second reason why he may not admit that he betrayed you is because the “other woman” didn’t mean anything. What is the point in destroying a completely happy relationship for the sake of a drunken mistake? Sometimes these things happen and although they are not to be proud of, no hurt was intended.

The last reason that we are going to look at is that it actually gives the girlfriend or wife the upper hand and let’s face it; no man wants that! Every fight that you ever had would be finished with the “you cheated” card and it would be used in every occasion that she didn’t get her own way.

At the end of the day, as much as you want to hate him for what he did to you, the reason he never told was to keep your heart from breaking. If he really wanted to be that much of a (insert whichever word here) he would have just told you, right?

Christmas sorrow and hope.

For those of us who have lost loved ones or those of us who are alone and lonely it can be very sad.
This year I have been thinking a lot about Christmas past with some of the people who are no longer with me.
I miss them very much. I was lucky to have them all for a long time but many are not so lucky.
My dad, my aunt, all my grandparents, my son (whom I never even got to HAVE and died just before Christmas)
I DO miss them but I carry on living because life goes ON and they would ALL want me to as well!
My dad, near the end wuld always tell me, Don’t worry, be happy!
I know he was trying to share something that I never truly understood until just lately. Life is short and time is precious…don’t waste it. It hurts and that is sad but, we CAN choose to rise above it! We can choose NOT to wallow in the sorrow but to step outside of it and cherish the moments that make life a LIFE!
This is the thing that I see since thinking about them so much lately.
They are gone but they are and always will be part of ME and my life in my memories and traditions and all the beautiful things I carry on that I have because they WERE a part of it for so long.
So here is my suggestion for the loneliness and sorrows when missing someone during this season of LOVE.
REMEMBER the good. REMEMBER the joy. REMEMBER the words of love and wisdom they shared with you.
REMEMBER your fave holidays together. REMEMBER the laughter. REMEMBER the hugs.
REMEMBER it all and KNOW that every single moment was a gift and a treasure!
When you feel so SAD and think that you cannot take another step forward or make another MEMORY it is TIME, long overdue time to open your own heart to something *NEW*.
If you can’t find any of the joy inside yourself just think hard about something that you could do to give joy to someone else. CHOOSE someone and do something kind for them. Be a SECRET SANTA to them and leave them a little gift, or buy them a cup of coffee or ANYTHING, any little kindness that will shine a light into THEIR sadness.
You will give them a small gift of joy that will ripple back to you and lift your spirits also.
THIS is the true meaning of CHRISTMAS. GIVING joy and love of yourself to OTHERS.
We often forget this, especially when we DO have a huge circle of family and friends of our own to amuse us and distract us and cherish us too. We keep our love tied up with all of them in a neat little package that outsiders are not allowed to enter or welcomed into.
OPEN your circle, widen your net, open your arms to just ONE other person who might be lonely or sad and GIVE them the gift of your love for one day. You could change a life! You could warm, melt and open a bitter heart and the ripples could change someone’s whole WORLD. TRY!

Something to remember before you have too much "Christmas Cheer"

A Touching Christmas Story

“And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”1

“The Doll and a White Rose” by V.A. Bailey

I hurried into the local department store to grab some last minute Christmas gifts. I looked at all the people and grumbled to myself. I would be in here forever and I just had so much to do. Christmas was beginning to become such a drag. I kind of wished that I could just sleep through Christmas. But I hurried the best I could through all the people to the toy department. Once again I mumbled to myself at the prices of all these toys, and wondered if the grandchildren would even play with them.

I found myself in the doll aisle. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a little boy about 5 holding a lovely doll. He kept touching her hair and he held her so gently. I couldn’t seem to help myself. I just kept looking over at the little boy and wondered who the doll was for.

I watched him turn to a woman and he called his aunt by name and said, “Are you sure I don’t have enough money.” She replied a bit impatiently, “You know that you don’t have enough money for it. The aunt told the little boy not to go anywhere because she had to go get some other things and would be back in a few minutes. And then she left the aisle.

The boy continued to hold the doll. After a bit I asked the boy who the doll was for. He said, “It is the doll my sister wanted so badly for Christmas. She just knew that Santa would bring it.” I told him that maybe Santa was going to bring it. He said “No, Santa can’t go where my sister is, I have to give the doll to my Momma to take to her.”

I asked him where his sister was. He looked at me with the saddest eyes and said, “She has gone to be with Jesus. My Daddy says that Momma is going to have to go be with her.”

My heart nearly stopped beating. Then the boy looked at me again and said, “I told my Daddy to tell Momma not to go yet. I told him to tell her to wait till I got back from the store.” Then he asked me if I wanted to see his picture. I told him I would love to. He pulled out some pictures he’d had taken at the front of the store. He said, “I want my Momma to take this with her so she doesn’t ever forget me. I love my Momma so very much and I wish she did not have to leave me. But Daddy says she will need to be with my sister.”

I saw that the little boy had lowered his head and had grown so very quiet. While he was not looking, I reached into my purse and pulled out a hand-full of bills. I asked the little boy, “Shall we count that money one more time?”

He grew excited and said, “Yes, I just know it has to be enough” So I slipped my money in with his and we began to count it. And of course it was plenty for the doll. He softly said, “Thank you Jesus for giving me enough money.”

Then the boy said, “I just asked Jesus to give me enough money to buy this doll so Momma can take it with her to give to my sister. And he heard my prayer. I wanted to ask him for enough to buy my Momma a white rose, but I didn’t ask him, but he gave me enough to buy the doll and a rose for my Momma. She loves white roses so very, very much.”

In a few minutes the aunt came back and I wheeled my cart away. I couldn’t keep from thinking about the little boy as I finished my shopping in a totally different spirit than when I had started. And I kept remembering a story I had seen in the newspaper several days earlier about a drunk driver hitting a car and killing a little girl and the mother was in serious condition. The family was deciding on removal of the life support. Now surely this little boy did not belong with that story.

Two days later I read in the paper where the family had disconnected the life support and the young woman had died. I couldn’t forget the little boy and just kept wondering if the two were somehow connected. Later that day, I couldn’t help myself and I went out and bought some white roses and took them to the funeral home where the young woman was. And there she was holding a lovely white rose, the beautiful doll, and the picture of the little boy in the store.

I left there in tears, my life changed forever. The love that little boy had for his little sister and his mother was overwhelming. In a split second a drunk driver had ripped the life of that little boy to pieces.2

Please don’t drink and drive this holiday season nor throughout the coming year.
