Most of us take vacations so that we can relax, swim,

scuba dive, water-ski, go boating, horseback ride, play tennis

and many other fun things, we take pleasure in doing. But,

by the time you get home, you are anything but rested. So

it might be a good idea, to leave two or three days or so, at

at the end of your vacation, to rest up at home, before you

head back to work. This way you will feel as though you

you really did have a vacation.

Saving Money

A very good way to save money, is to set up a payroll deduction

for every week or every two weeks, channelled into a savings

account, with the highest interest rate you can find, and then

forget about it. The growth can be plentiful. Try it.

Extending The Life of Nylons

I’ve heard, that if you place your nylons in the freezer, then thaw

them out a day or so before you need them, they will run less,

thereby extending the life of the stockings or pantyhose.

Envelopes

Business size envelopes, sent to you in your mail, can be opened

on each side and can be used as note paper, writing on the inside

of the used envelope.

Jars

Large pickle jars can be washed and dried out, and used to store

nails, miscellaneous screws, and other small things you have no

place for, but want to save.

Scrubbing Sinks

When your bathroom or kitchen sink accumulates hard water stains

behind the facuet, use an old toothbrush dipped in a little bleach and

liquid detergent to remove the stains.

Traveling

Might be a good idea to take a carry-on bag with at least one change

of clothes, extra shoes, night clothes, slippers, and toiletries, just in case

of lost baggage.
