Attack in simple terms: By posing on Facebook as NATO Admiral, have brought the unknown private data and information on senior officials of the military alliance in experience. NATO is startled - and suggests an unusual defense.

Facebook page of James Stavridis: The Admiral uses the network is already intensively

High-ranking officials and officers of NATO should immediately create their own accounts in social networks. With this recommendation, the military alliance responds to an incident that has apparently caused considerable excitement in the counterintelligence, reports the British “Telegraph”.

According unknowns have a Facebook account in the name of Admiral James Stavridis of the U.S. set up to skim personal information and data about the Admiral himself and his friends, acquaintances and employees. Stavridis is the post of Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) inside, so that is the responsible commander of NATO operations.

From the fake account of the unknown friend requests sent to a number of targets. How many of those affected positively responded to these questions is unclear. Those who did gave the attackers with their clicking on the button of consent to access personal information that they had issued no strangers might prefer.

The “Telegraph” believed it was the wealth of personal data that can be found in private Facebook pages, for intelligence is a cornucopia of information on private careers, personal preferences, beliefs, family ties and whereabouts. This could not only create detailed personal profiles, but they could also be used to spy on the victims or even better able to extort.

No NATO secrets on Facebook and Twitter

NATO classified information, however, were not compromised by such attacks. “Talk / Chat / postings on Facebook, of course, only to turn non-secret issues,” said a NATO spokesman. Moreover, it concluded that the attacks by so-called social engineering that has nothing to do with hackers or spyware.

A report by the “Observer”, according to the traces of the perpetrators could be traced back to China. It had been a co-ordinated action against the Admiral, it says. A NATO spokesman said, however, there have been several fake Facebook pages, where the alleged high-ranking NATO officers, but they had no evidence that Chinese people are behind it.

Again and again, China

In the last few years there have been allegations that Chinese hackers would operate with government support, or even an official mandate hacker attacks against Western military installations or industrial espionage in Western companies (see box). Even from a secret army, the hacker speaking, the existence of the Chinese military leadership in 2011 is confirmed. Allegations, this elite-hacker would perform illegal actions, but be unfounded, it is always from Beijing. Chinese law prohibits finally hacking activities.

But now wants the American military intelligence NSA (National Security Agency) have evidence of such activities and even be able to identify certain Chinese hacker groups clearly based on the characteristics typical for them to be able to.

NATO Blogger

They want to ensure first and foremost, “that the public is not misinformed,” said a NATO spokesman. We use Twitter and Facebook to disseminate important announcements so it was important “public confidence in the social media to strengthen.” With Facebook’s cooperation would be very happy, was in close contact with the account managers of the social network. Fake Facebook pages would be deleted, normally within 24 to 48 hours after discovery.

Surprising is that anyone has fallen for the fake account of U.S. Admiral. Because James Stavridis has long been recognized clearly the importance and the possibilities of social networks. For years, he posts on Facebook about his activities and runs a blog titled “From the Bridge”, “From the Bridge”. How many of the postings attributed to him in fact he came from and how many are contributed by ghostwriters, is certainly not known.

Significantly, however, that there is probably little benefit to be tightening up security measures of NATO facilities for almost 50 million euros from a defense contractor, as the “Observer” writes. More importantly, it would obviously make NATO officers and their contacts clearly the opportunities offered by social networks – and pitfalls lurking in it.

I've found quite some secrets, unknown locations, and tricks in skyrim so I thought I'd share them here! of course, I DO need the money... anyway....

One thing is about vampirism: while it can be cool to be a vampire, there are a few drawbacks. First, the higher stage you’re at in vampirism, the weaker you are against fire while in the sunlight. second, once you’re at the fourth satge of vampirism, ALL people (Who aren’t enemies normally, like villagers or merchants or gaurds) will try to kill you, which sucks if you’re a thane or you own a house. so, unless you wanna be a social outcast and dont mind going into a city only to steal, kill, and dominate, i suggest you use bows, shouts, and spells when you fight vampires.

Another thing i find tedious: DRAGONS NOT EFFING LANDING!!! When fighting a dragon, they usually fly about and stop IN THE AIR to breath fire or ice at you, and when they do land, it’s usually on some perch, like a small cliff you can’t get to. Oh, and another thing whilee I’m still on the subject, when the dragon you’re fighting suddenly snaps you up into it’s mouth, just press start and load the previous state, unless you want to watch the dragon fling your arse about a mile away and possibly off a cliff, be my guest!

Have you ever wanted to steal something from a shop but not get caught by the shopkeep? simply put a kettle, basket, ETC. over the person’s head and JUALA! He/She can’t see you! although this sometimes is hindered at times like when there’s more than 1 person in the room or you have a follower with you. but i guess you can just do the same with them…

That’s all that comes to mind for now, but when I have more to share I’ll post another article!

This is one crime thriller for which the promotional quotes are not
overblown. Several may even be understated. It's a smashing piece of work
featuring behavioral psychology in an entirely criminal context, leading to a
climax that is utter joy for those readers who love a twist they didn't see
coming. In excruciating suspense it may be said to compare to the best
moments in a James Bond movie (insofar as that may be a criterion for mystery readers).

The operative word in the title is “as,” setting up the entire escapade as a study of a gang of thieves, their internal workings, hair trigger relationships and culture of betrayal. It’s a curious unit, demanding cohesiveness and unity from individuals who tend to be no more trustful than a deer under the gaze of a lion. And no more respectful of a leader than a switch voter in an American election.

In other words, the gang that former CIA agent Carr is trying to run after inheriting the leadership position from Irish, dearly beloved, Declan, aka Deke, now suddenly dead, is comprised of individuals who have problems with authority as well as bonding. They come with attitudes and moments of explosive doubt and discontent that goes with the precarious territory. It goes so far that a knife is brought under Carr’s neck at one point, as a psychopathic form of expression. These thieves are thick, all right. A team like this is not where you go for camaraderie or after-hours relaxation.

The knife-bearer and chief malcontent is badass Latin Mike who, for all his value to the crew’s operations as the boxman who can open almost any safe, is a constant burr under Carr’s saddle. Carr, if nothing else, is amazing for both his ability to put such threats in perspective and for his truly superior abilities to construct plans with the kind of “eye on the prize” concentration that imbue him a genius in human behavior and self control.

Which may be why Valerie, the sole woman and great beauty — who can guarantee mass engorgement in any room of men she glides through and which gives her a special operational effectiveness — has chosen Carr for her nighttime companion. It may have something to do with intelligence compatibility and that rarity among thieves, mutual respect.

Latin Mike’s continual enmity toward Carr may have something to do with envy of this perk, or might not. But Carr knows that his great fortune to have Vee in his bed at night doesn’t translate into total trust. Not long term, at least, trust always being a major issue in this line of work.

The split-of-the-take jobs come from the mysterious uber-boss Boyce. The start of an intricately devised con job begins as a nighttime heist in a Houston house belonging to a lawyer no one knows. It serves to illustrate the dynamics in play among our cast of characters as they roam through the dark house connected by closed circuit phone. They are far gabbier than Carr would prefer, and distinctly less disciplined as they search — not for money or jewelry — but for a not-yet-disclosed object.

Rounding out the team are Brooklyn Bobby, the electronics, security system and telecom line expert; Dennis, the digital nerd who gets lighter duty outside on security patrol; and, Valerie, aka Vee, same.

In everyone’s mind is the big score they’ve been dreaming about for four months. Delicate and dangerous at every step, the individual cuts if the plan succeeds will ensure all of them a beach-front mansion anywhere on earth. All they have to do is deprive one Curtis Prager of his tainted billions from illicit gains all over the world. Basically, a con job, but on a larger-than-usual scale and Herculean difficulty. Prager is no soft touch, in any sense of the word.

Before it’s over, Carr will enter the lion’s den, passing himself off as a major trader in diamonds and money launderer, using these to entice his way into the Prager fortress and, thence, to the laptop that is the manna from heaven, the score, the bounty and the promised land. It’s what all the word and gunplay have been for. The clock of suspense has been ticking all along, but author Spiegelmann now takes it to drumbeat level, right in the chest.

It seems, at first, that there’s nothing like the promise of a big money payoff to focus the cooperative spirit, but what this operation will show is how the smell of illicit gain hastens the emergence of agendas. Betrayal has never been off the stage here; the only mystery is whose on whom? All we know for sure is that the proverbial honor plays no part among this cast of thieves.

“Thick as Thieves” is a nail-biter, and highly original, superbly balanced mystery fiction. Spiegelman’s genius for description of setting and mood as well as the character depth that makes his people vivid and unique are among the highlights. The connection he builds to his cool, courageous central figure is superglued to heart and mind, intensifying every threat to his survival or well-being when tensions grow intense and when he’s dealing with his ageing father in a subplot.

Put another way, it’s an oft-times breath-defying character-motivated, poetically described, high-tension-wire journey, dotted with satiric humor and irony. As though that weren’t enough, the final challenge — the denouement — raises the voltage to a level that just won’t allow inattention or the “I’ve got to get some sleep” excuse. All sense of gravity and real life is held in suspension by the power of Spiegelman’s creative juice. He will hold you in suspension to the final page. This muscular read is really exciting.

Please, if you work for any secret government organisation of the West this open letter is an appeal to you to disclose.

Thursday, 5th of January, 2012

Dear Spy Agency Employee,

It’s a beautiful sunny day in Sydney, Australia. My name is James and I am an artist from Sydney who grew up in a family affected by “Secret Government,” as Western Spy Agencies are commonly known. I was personally affected by our Government’s obsession with keeping secrets and I write this to anyone working for secret government agencies - as an open invitation - to consider deeply your actions. You may be harming more of you family than you are aware of.

This is a sincere, open letter. It is addressed to people working in the various government spy agencies of the developed world such as MI5 (UK), the National Security Agency (NSA) in the USA and the Australian Secret Intellegence Organisation (ASIO). I ask you to take a moment, stop what your are doing and think how your work is impacting of your nearest and dearest, not to mention anyone with whom you come into contact with.

Please, ask yourself: “Is gathering information on people in secret beneficial to me as a human being?” “Am I hurting someone in ways I am unaware, either consciously or unconsciously?” and lastly, “Is my family adversely hurt by my unproductive toil?”

If you answered, “Yes,” to any of these then isn’t it time you considered the sad and horrific damage you are inflicting on yourself and other people because of you work?

This open note to you is from my the bottom of my heart. I was affected by the machinations of secret western government and it hurt not only me but also my family in many sorroful ways. This is what you are doing and this letter is asking you to stop. Walk away.

Life can be so full of positve aspects. Do you imagine that listening into phone traffic, making notes about innocent people you deem at threat in some way and finally, not producing anything for your country in any meaningful and value adding manner is making you happy? I would posit to say that it’s not.

Please consider others. Gathering secret information about others is only hurting you; your health, your wealth and your family. Don’t you think it’s time for you to join society and tell everyone what you are doing? You will be lauded a hero if you do – finally loved by all instead of silently dispised. Please think about it with love.

Yours Faithfully

James DeVere

Many may not know the term undercover. That term is used when men hold their woman's head in the day and are intimate with a man in the dark. Many women find out later that their mate hasn't been truthful.

Men who lie to their girlfriends or wives about who they prefer to sleep with is just down right low and dirty. There’s movies that tough on this sensitive subject. Women have found themselves falling in love and perhaps marrying these men. These types of men maybe overly sensitive when it comes to gay men. They may pretend that they despise gay men but in reality they want to be with them. They lurk in the mid night hours with their lovers and keep their secrets from the day mates. If they choose to go that route they should have enough courage to tell their girlfriends or wives about their life style. many women don’t find out until they are exposed with HIV. They may wonder how they contracted the disease and ask their mate about it and then the truth is revealed.

Some may preach the word knowing that they are sleeping with men. No one can stop them from doing what they desire to do but they should be honest and straight forward. Some men in this category are raising children and they have no respect for their families. There’s singers, rappers, many stars who pretend to be one way but behind closed doors they’re another. It was said that John Wayne was gay and it was revealed that Rock Hudson was gay. Rock Hudson always played a leading man and the secret did not come out of the closet until he became ill.

Being gay or undercover gay is a choice but men should allow women to decide if they want to stay or go, they need to be honest. The saying what you don’t know won’t kill you is not true. In a book by Bunny Debarge she revealed that her brother Bobby Debarge liked sleeping with men. Bobby married and had two boys and in 1995 he died of complications related to Aids. So men need to be honest and let their wives and partners know that they would rather sleep with a man. It is not uncommon it maybe more common than we care to realize.
