We have a holiday to honor a man who was trying to make a better society by promoting equal opportunity to eliminate the waste of talent that was a result of segregation. Our leaders, who honor MLK with lip service, insult his memory with policies that waste so much opportunity. Whenever our government wastes money, it is at the expense of the people.
