I see people, mostly women my age, worrying to the point of panicking when marital status is discussed. Marriage, it seems to them, is a sort of security and without a ring on their finger to signify they are “taken”, they are doomed!  Not for me.  I am at this stage where I am certain I love exactly where I am —this blissful stage of singleness. Do not get me wrong. Like every normal woman at her 20’s, I also take down mental notes on how I want my wedding to be; from the motif, entourage, reception, and of course the ultimate wedding gown! I also have a list of the possible names I would give my future mini-me’s. But that is just one of the many gifts of being single.

Preparation. This is what I sometimes refer to as my planting season. I believe this is where God is molding, fixing and honing me into the perfect partner and parent He intends me to be. This is when He teaches me to budget my resources, sort out my priorities, manage my tasks, balance my time and develop a sense of responsibility. A daily real-life learning process where I realize my values and obligations as an individual, and discover my skills and gifts that can bless others. He provides me with opportunities to choose my preferred way of living, ministry to serve, places to see and explore and meet people who can be potential future partners.

Since being single means having more than enough time for my Me-time, it brings me closer to the Original Author of Romance. Instead of going out on a date, I stay at home read the Bible or other inspirational reading materials, write on my journal, attend the Feast, meet my Caring Group siblings, or simply spend some quiet time with Him. Our relationship has grown deeper from Creator-creation, Master-steward to Father-Daughter and Best of friends. He allows me to have more time reflecting on and about life. Moreover, I am able to spend more quantity and quality time with my family and friends. Simply put, being single has blessed me in a way by being grateful and being a blessing myself to the people surrounding me.  People who cares and accepts me. This is the perfect time for me to shower them with the gift of time and good memories.

Not having a partner—yet, is my Heavenly Father’s way of protecting me from heartbreak after heartbreak. He protects me from what He knows are not good for my being: chauvinists, liars, “jerks” and possible abusers. He really knows what’s best and prepares the perfect time to give it to me.

Being alone is not always akin to being lonely. More often than not, it is the exact opposite of it. It is an experience of exceptional freedom. A time to enjoy life at its fullest; without guilt or hesitations. The perfect opportunity for growth and choosing wisely for our future and those of our loved ones. Ali Smith wrote in her book that singleness brings protection, provision, proximity and preparation. I could not agree more.

Indeed, life is exuberantly joyful and fun when you are single, especially when you have a great God who guides your every step and never gets tired of being your Loyal Partner, come what may.

Any ways  to start things off, These mods are very usefull if you are a adventure map builder or just a regular player.

The introduction of creative mode kindof destroyed the use of toomany items. Too many items is a mod that allows you to add in any item you want. Unlike creative mode, you can spawn in blocks creative mode wont allow. On top of that this mod adds a time set button and a swtch between creative mode and survival mode. 

singleplayer commands is a mod that adds tons of commands to the game. With this mod you can world edit,fly and many more things. Ireally lke this mod. its uses are pretty much infinite. wether I need tons of mobs killed or spawned in you can do it with creative mode.

Minimap mod is usefull if you have a slow computer where you cant play on far or normal render distance. It pretty much gives you a overhead view of the area you are in. The nice thing with this mod is, you can change it to how you like it.

What goes our mind when we see the date February 14? Romance, couples celebrating, dating a person, strawberries and champagne? Don’t we all need love in our lives? Without love, this world will not be a better place to live in, that is why Valentines day was set, the day where we celebrate love.

We can all express love on this special day, single or taken, there are a lot of ways to celebrate the day of hearts. If you have not revealed your true feelings for somebody yet, this is the right time to do it, be it with giving gifts such as flowers and chocolates or treating a person to any romantic place you can think of. A love that is just starting to grow is the time where ones feelings are overflowing with happiness, butterflies in stomach are present, and one can’t get his or her eyes off of the significant other. It is like planting a seed and taking care of the plant, how you take care of the plant is what you will get in the future. If you do not give enough sunlight and water, the result will be disappointing or it will end up wilting the plant. Love is something that we need to take care of in order for it to not disappear overtime.

Couples should also renew and refresh their feelings by celebrating this event. Being creative on how to show emotions, planning things out and surprising a loved one. For people who are in love, it will be easier for them to express their feelings as they are overflowing with passion. If you have tried almost all of the usual Valentines day gestures then why not use this occasion to do something with your significant other like mountain hiking, rock climbing, fishing, swimming in a lake, baking a cake, cooking a meal etcetera. Activities that require teamwork to further strengthen a partnership while having fun doing a task together.

Some also do not need a partner when it comes to celebrating Valentines day. Single people can also enjoy this occasion by spreading love with their families, friends, the less fortunate, animals, and the environment. If you care about the ecosystem, then do something to express your love for it. Be it by feeding the hungry, planting more trees, adopting a pet, or extending love to your family and closest friends by doing something special. You can also celebrate Valentines day by loving yourself. Pampering ones body and taking care of it is essential in feeling good from the inside and looking good from the outside.

Valentines day is not just for couples, it’s for people from all walks of life, it’s about love and sharing love to the world. We also do not need to wait for Valentines day to happen just to show our emotions to others, people should constantly spread love to further make this world as amazing as it is.

If you want a career that is currently being pursued, it would not hurt to choose for themselves first. You can freely choose the desired job. You do not even bother to divide their time between work and schedule a date with a lover. One more thing, there is no ‘obligation’ is to report what, where or with whom.

2. Want to ‘Free’
The existence of a lover is often limited the space, especially in terms of socializing. Well, if you still want to be friends with anyone freely, being single may be a good decision. Imagine if everyone would go out with friends, you have to ask permission or at least tell where to go.

When alone, you can freely make plans with friends. Starting from the movies, to the amusement park, theater to watch the show traveling overseas. Not only that, you had a chance to meet new people and the environment as much as possible. Being single, letting you live a social life and to choose friends freely without having to worry about partner’s feelings.

3. The focus is still with Yourself
No doubt, love with someone we care about is fun and makes a flowery heart. But romance is not always sweet. There are spices quarrels, discord and jealousy in it the potential to raise stress and even depression. As we know, stress can be detrimental to health.

According to research quoted by The Soko, who often quarreled with his partner at risk of suffering from hypertension, five times greater than the single. Being single, chances are you removing the negative emotions will be smaller than those in pairs. That way, the mind and body are also more relaxed. If your life has been greatly troubled with work or family problems, to be single for a while may be better.

4. Saturated with Arguments
It’s okay to occasionally fight or argue with a lover. But if the relationship more than a romance filled with fights, you should start thinking for themselves alive while. Moreover, if the contention is caused by the little things that did not matter. Instead of having to ‘pull the veins’ every time they met, it is better not to meet every day right?

Bromance is a healthy relationship between hetero-sexual males .They are usually single but such relationships may even develop among men in relationships . They enjoy spending time together . They admire each other’s activities and interests . They take pleasure in discussing business , trades , investments and even women , anything that’s considered suitable for discussion among men . 

The word bromance originates from the combination of the two words ‘bros‘ meaning male friends or brothers and ‘romance‘ . While talking about bromance people usually refer to the phrase “I love you man !” while some refer it as ‘man crush’ as the level of bonding is unusual for they feel happy to hang out together for hours . They enjoy participating in sports activities or delving into important issues while gulping bottles after bottles of beer .

There have been several films and television series focussing on this subject . This can be considered as one of the finest form of relationships as individuals of similar interests and thinking find it easier to share and express with each other . They can relate to each other’s emotions and thoughts . They can help each other more and sometimes they find more close bonding with each other which may surpass their relationship with the women folks .

Women may sometimes find it abnormal as they may miss their male partners who are involved in such relationships but it has been seen that such relationships make men more happy , strong and mature . They are glad discussing with male friends issues that are akin to them as they feel more comfortable with them than discussing it with their ladies . They find solutions and get ideas to live a better life as singles as well as with partners of opposite sex . So girls don’t doubt them rather leave them for sometime while you enjoy your time with your own friends .

Some recent films and television series have celebrated this concept of bromance and bromantic activities and made it more acceptable in the society . It’s no more considered an abnormal behaviour but a meaningful and expressive bonding of friendship between men .

I know it’s been a while since I have written an article but that is only because I’ve ventured off into the promotion field for musicians and events!

 I am promoting for an internationally known Dancehall/Reggae/Pop artist who goes by Black Mattic. Born and raised in Kingston community of Waterhouse, Mattic’s upcoming project ‘The Diamond 4 Life Project‘ will be released later this year so I will definitely keep you all updated with what’s going on.

 Right now, we are looking for interested individuals into new music who would like to give their opinion on his latest single ‘SuperStar‘.

Despite being in a happy, long term relationship, I still don’t understand why people are so obsessed with this one day ‘holiday’. Every year in the week leading up to February the 14th, there is a sense of excitement in most people and it is this hysteria that I have never managed to understand.

Most single people will believe that couples are simply showing off by publicly displaying their love for one another with their romantic days out, meals and their presents. There is no arguing that they definitely have a point. There is a certain level of exclusion when it comes to Valentine’s Day. For some people it may even be a huge hit to the self esteem when they realise that they’re single and nobody seems to be interested in them. Why should there only be one day dedicated to showing love? Surely if a couple are really in love with one another, they would show their feelings every day? Something about setting a single date for this to occur on takes all the spontaneity and romance out of everything. It’s a superficial holiday that is an obligation. People shouldn’t have to buy gifts to show their love and if they must buy gifts, it doesn’t have to be organised. As soon as something becomes an obligation, the fun soon becomes drained out of it.

But can couples really be to blame for the big fuss before this day? Whilst on social networking sites, I have found that most of the mentions of Valentine’s Day were by single people who were complaining about it. This means that these people are just making matters worse for themselves as they’re the ones that bring up the holiday. I find that these complaints are also somewhat meaningless and hypocritical because it’s not uncommon for these single people to hate the day purely because they can’t join in and so the next year they’ll jump on the bandwagon.

This makes me question my own faith in the human race. Since when did we all become so dependent on others? If you feel as if you need a partner then you certainly shouldn’t get one purely because it’s important to learn to love being single. If you choose to be in a relationship because you can’t stand the thought of being single then you’re more likely to hurt yourself by throwing yourself into the arms of people you may not actually want to be with. If people are able to learn that being single has many freedoms and that if they’re patient, they can find who they are looking for then they are far more likely to achieve happiness.

The only real purpose I can think of for this holiday is to give those who are afraid to confess their feelings an opportunity. Even so, I feel that if these people feel strongly enough for a person, they can find the strength and the confidence to admit their feelings.

And so I won’t be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year. I find love to be an amazing experience that should be enjoyed all year round. This event becomes less and less about romance each year as the superficiality of it increases and people become more and more infatuated and greedy.  Cupid is beginning to look less and less like a naked chubby little baby and more and more like a fat business tycoon in a suit puffing on cigars. Well, at least it’s good for the economy. 

Pamper yourself
If you do not have anyone else to be spoiled on Valentine’s Day, why not indulge yourself? Cook delicious food for you, or a relaxing bath by candlelight and music. By not thinking about other people’s feelings, you are free to spend time doing what you want and make the day special.

Do not contact the ex-
With an atmosphere that feels romantic and people together in pairs, it is fair if your mind drift back into the past with former Valentine’s Day, especially if you just split up. Nevertheless, the weight of whatever the temptation, do not call him anymore. Remember, hurt does not make a beautiful Valentine. Call your friends and spend time berhargamu and chat with people who are fun only.

Do not just look beautiful, beautiful
Most likely you will see them jealous of their affection on Valentine’s Day-mesraan. But still, remember that romance is not necessarily happen that way everyday. Remember all the things that make bete in a relationship.

Stop torturing yourself
Crying while watching romantic movies, singing songs desperately upset, or return to regret why you should break up with your ex? Well, stop torturing yourself. Are you sure this is the way you want to spend Valentine’s Day?

Spend time with others
Just because you singles on Valentine’s Day does not mean you have to celebrate alone. Instead of mopping the house, make a plan to have fun with family or friends. Valentine’s Day is a day to spend time with people we love – not necessarily a partner.

Start a new relationship
If there is one that you seek, and they also seem interested in you, why not take a chance on Valentine’s Day to express love? Send cards without names or email are tempting to give him a cue. In addition, another alternative is to register on online dating service and find another way to find love, and leave feeling happy as if it would start a new relationship to make your day happy.

There are 3 ways you can enter Valentine’s day:

1.) You are single and have been for a while, then for you it’s a day of watching all the couples, which makes you annoyed that you haven’t been able to get a partner

2.) You are newly single, in which case you will be pining over your last partner.

3.) You are in a couple.

This 3rd way is the one that is odd for me. If you are in a relationship then you shouldn’t need a special day to treat your partner the way you want to, which is how Valentine’s day seems to be marketed. So, the only people that Valentine’s day is good for are the people in a bad relationship, and why should that be celebrated.

Of course, Valentine’s day can be used to find someone new, but in general the people out looking for someone on Valentine’s day are generally single for a reason. Or at least that’s my experience. I’m certainly not saying all single people deserve to be so, but the creeps tend to come out at this time. It’s scarier than Halloween!

But for some reason it’s still popular, people still love it. I’m baffled. The only reason I can think of is that people are in fact sheeple. It’s a cop out answer, but it seems most likely. So to the people who are single this Valentine’s, I have this piece of advice. Find friends and have an anti-Valentine’s. They are some of the best parties around because there is no pretense or ulterior motive. After that spend whatever time you want finding ‘The One’

However nowadays Valentine’s Day is nothing more than a commercialized holiday that benefits only corporate America.  Hand written notes have for the most part been replaced by greeting cards, home-made confections have been largely replaced by pre-packaged candy, cookies, cakes and what have you.

Not only has it been commercialized, it has been marketed so well that many people who have no valentine have decided to boycott it.  I am sure that there was at least one year when you did not have a valentine, I am sure it was a lonely day.

 I was without a valentine for at least seven years; the first year was a tough one.  The second year I decided to get all of my single friends together and have a fantastic dinner and a movie.  I decided we would watch a comedy that in no way represented a broken romance or had anything to do with love for that matter.  There was no exchanging of gifts, instead everyone was to bring a homemade confection, no pre-packaged anything, except for the wine of course.

I did it this way because I wanted to show my single friends that being single could be as fun as being in a relationship on this day and that the holiday did not have to be commercialized. We had so much fun that it became a tradition.  Of course there came a time where one or more of us found our significant others, so instead of stopping the tradition, we inter-grated it.  So for the last twenty-something years a group of us get together and celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with our significant others and our single friends.  We still don’t exchange gifts and we still bring a homemade confection. 

If you still want to buy a box of candy and a greeting card, go for it.  However, homemade cookies and a heartfelt written note will really make the night something special.

Show your friends that they don’t have to be alone on Valentine’s Day, those people that say it’s just another day are the ones that you need to take under your wing.  So start a tradition, invite your single friends and your married friends to your house for dinner on Valentine’s Day.  The truth is you can have a romantic dinner anytime you want to with your significant other.
