			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Everyone suffers from depression from time to time.  I was in a very bad state of depression when I was hit by a drunk driver and he my car was wrecked, to make it worse I was put out of work and the money troubles caused my husband to have an affair with another woman and we ended up getting a divorce and the house was in his name, so I had to find a new place to live.  What was I going to do??  I fell into a deep depression.  I stayed in bed all day and night for a week, I could not eat or sleep, I started to feel very angry and then I started to get sick.  That was when I found out what helped me to overcome depression.  The first thing that I did was get out of bed!!  Exercise is very important part of overcoming depression.  I started walking a mile a day at first and then over time it became five miles a day and just getting up and taking a walk was a great help, it gave me time to think about things in a clear and quiet way, and it gave me exercise which helped me to feel more energized and have more motivation.  The next thing that I did was to start eating again, but I am not saying to order a pizza, no you have to eat the right things, eat healthy.  Veggies are a great snack and they give you energy.  I also discovered that drinks like Ensure or even the weight lose drinks like Slim Fast are a great way of getting the vitamins that you need everyday to ensure good health and energy.  You might not need help with weight lose, but those drinks are packed with vitamins and are a quick and sensible way of getting the minerals that you need.  The next thing that I found helpful for overcoming my depression was to talk to a friend about what was bothering me.  I am a person who tends to bottle everything up, as many of us are.  We don&#8217;t want to bother anyone with our problems when everyone has problems of their own.  But it really helps us if we can find someone who will just allow us to vent.  Just telling someone what has happened can make you feel better and can make you feel like you can overcome whatever it is that has gotten you down.  So get up, grab a healthy shake and a friend with a good ear and go for a walk.  You will start to feel better as soon as you do!</p>
