But if God created us to be perfect, to love, to share and to make a difference each and every day for those who need us to help, why don’t we?

Why can’t we live a life on this earth, in this life shaped and created with love, concern, joy, happiness and love.  Truth of this matter we can, could, should and must live with these values and convictions.

Smile at the world and it shall smile back at you.

Laugh with the world and it shall laugh with you.

Love with the world and it will always give love in return.

Everything we do has an effect on our life.  The decisions we put off, or act upon make us who we are now and whom we may and will become.  I say the word may before the word will due to the fact that we need to continue our chosen path. Act upon our decisions or we may become something else that was not intended.

When we have a clear focus on the world outside of our immediate self.  We will then possibly be able to add some sympathy and tolerance into our fiber.

We are made up of thousands of strands of DNA, that make us who we are in a very individualistic way.  No two of us are exactly the same.  Another miracle from our creator.

But within that individualism is a common thread, that if we focus on weaving in love, hope, compassion, sympathy, acceptance, tolerance we will indeed blend a different fabric for generations to come.  Can we do that?  More importantly will we do that?

After a few times reading this you get the flavor of what he was talking about. Getting old with grace. Growing old is happening to all of us, he so eloquently explains in detail.

Maybe your not quite at the hour of splendor yet, but we should live our life now so that we don’t look back as he did.

Remembering all of the good that we shared, the laughter and the smiles and the deeds that made another persons life easier to live.  Thats what we should choose to remember.

We all hope not to grieve but to reminisce on what was so great and grand.

That should be our goal our everyday reoccurrence of life.

Take time to enjoy the coldness of winter. The blossom of spring. The gentle rain that falls that feeds our gardens.

Take time to enjoy the warmth and heat of summer and enjoy the splashing of kids at the local beach or pool.  No matter your age, stick your legs, or toes in the cool crisp water and feel the texture as it laps against your skin.

Enjoy the season, which ever your life is and then when your final hour of splendor arrives you won’t wonder where it went.  You will have it deep in your memory bank ready to withdraw at any time and enjoy.

Share your dreams and your laughter and your smiles along your journey no matter what season your in.

I would have to say we are given the opportunity to do so every day we wake up.  Everyday by the grace of our creator we are given the opportunity to do so.  To create, to dream, to live, to build, to share a smile, to spread joy, to love, to enjoy, to pray, to give thanks……. The Blarney Stone is a historical stone, or actually part of the Blarney Castle in Ireland where it was believed that kissing the stone can grant you the gift of gab. Yeah, it seems strange in this day and age, but who are we to question tradition? It’s not like I’m saying that Santa Claus doesn’t exist (OOPS!).

There is so much to know about conversation that anyone, even I, could ever realize. You can go though watching talk shows; radio programs; clubs dedicated to public speaking; ordinary conversations; certain rules still apply when it comes to interaction through words. It may sound tedious, I know, but even though it’s your mouth that’s doing the work, your brain works twice as hard to churn out a lot of things you know. So what better way to start learning to be an effective communication is to know the very person closest to you: yourself.

1. What you know.

Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an effective speaker is to practice what you’ve learned. My stint as guest at every Toastmasters’ meeting I go to taught me that we all have our limitations, but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn to keep up and share what we know.

2. Listening.

It’s just as important as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little bit confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.

3. Humility

We all make mistakes, and sometimes we tend to slur our words, stutter, and probably mispronounce certain words even though we know what it means, but rarely use it only to impress listeners. So in a group, don’t be afraid to ask if you’re saying the right word properly and if they’re unsure about it then make a joke out of it. I promise you it’ll make everyone laugh and you can get away with it as well.

4. Eye Contact

There’s a lot to say when it comes to directing your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It’s important that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a gathering, even though he or she may be gorgeous.

5. Kidding around

A little bit of humor can do wonders to lift the tension, or worse boredom when making your speech. That way, you’ll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they’ll feel that you’re just as approachable, and as human to those who listen.

6. Be like the rest of them

Interaction is all about mingling with other people. You’ll get a lot of ideas, as well as knowing what people make them as they are.

7. Me, Myself, and I

Admit it, there are times you sing to yourself in the shower. I know I do! Listening to the sound of your own voice while you practice your speech in front of a mirror can help correct the stress areas of your pitch. And while you’re at it you can spruce up as well.

8. With a smile

A smile says it all much like eye contact. There’s no point on grimacing or frowning in a meeting or a gathering, unless it’s a wake. You can better express what you’re saying when you smile.

9. A Role Model

There must be at least one or two people in your life you have listened to when they’re at a public gathering or maybe at church. Sure they read their lines, but taking a mental note of how they emphasize what they say can help you once you take center stage.

10. Preparation

Make the best out of preparation rather than just scribbling notes and often in a hurried panic. Some people like to write things down on index cards, while other resort to being a little more silly as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy hands, please). Just be comfortable with what you know since you enjoy your work.

And that about wraps it up. These suggestions are rather amateurish in edgewise, but I’ve learned to empower myself when it comes to public or private speaking and it never hurts to be with people to listen how they make conversations and meetings far more enjoyable as well as educational.

to get ahead of ourselves — to break our own records, to

outstrip our yesterday by our today.

They have been called many things energy vampires, chiggers, (those little bugs that dig under your skin), and other things that are not G or PG rated.  So lets move on from them, shall we? LOL : )

But in the end they are really nothing, we give them power to enter our perception field.  Don’t we though?  We give them power to disrupt our wave lengths of happiness and joy.  We give them power to disrupt our imagination and wonder and awe.

Yes we do…..so why do we do it?

It is easier to blame them for our misfortune.  Maybe.

It is human nature to complain instead of ignore. Maybe again.

It is more human to tear down another instead of build them up.

Lets hope not for our own sake.

No I think its pure ignorance on our part to pay attention to ourselves and understand that they are truly nothing unless we give them that attention and power to disrupt us.

It happens to the best of us.  But we can change that can’t we?

YES WE CAN and YES WE MUST : )

If we are to proceed down our pathway of love, joy, laughter and happiness we can’t let another downer or demon get in our way.
