Check it out dawg.

Recently, the 16 year old teen singing sensation by the name of “Justin Bieber” has been recieving some criticism for the way he talks.

Now we all know Bieber is frequently harassed because his haters think he is rather.. effeminate, but now he is recieving more criticism for his form of speech.

His “Yea dawg” attitude, along with his flashy sneakers and baseball caps is seemingly his publicists idea, but fans don’t see it very impressive as it looks like he’s trying to be someone he isn’t, or impersonate someone.

If I could talk to him, my tip to Justin bieber would be – Be yourself! You might loose some haters, but it would be alot less pressure in the later stages.

I myself am not a Bieber fan, I have just been hearing about this recently. I just want to hear you, the fans opinion on the matter.

An overview of the high cost of Michael Jordan's new sneakers and how it affects our kids.

Imagine having your kids wanting those sneakers. And you have 3 kids all around the same age 10. Its close to $500 bucks. You could buy a PS3 and a Wii with that amount of money and have them more entertained. But of course there are rich people who can afford them. Well thats the problem. Most of the people who buy these Michael Jordan Space Jams sneakers cant afford them but they like to pretend they have enough money to have these special Space Jams and then the next year a new pair will come out by the name of space jams and peanut butter or space jamy wamy by Michael Jordan with a ad saying you have to wear Jordans if you want to be like Jordan.Oh come on!

Are you seeing whats wrong with this picture? Do you think its wrong or ok for kids to have stuff like this? I remember seeing an episode in The Simpsons where Ned Flanders whore the Assasin Sneakers, he said “Sometimes in life we must give us some luxury” > I am totally in favor of this line, especially the sometimes word. But having the habit of buying stuff which is ridiculously expensive is a no no. Why? Cause one day you or your son might not have the money you have now and when you hit against the wall you cant buy the newest pair of Joran sneakers or the new NY yankees cap you’ll feel so bad that you might fall into depression or decide to steal. Look at all these movie stars stealing from retail stores or stars like Nicholas Cage who had 15 mansiones plus two castles and had to declare bankrupt!

I hope this changes your mind about being smart with money and what to give and not give your kids.

Hey guys, ever wonder women have so many shoes? Read on for a little bit of enlightenment.

From the first time we learn to walk, shoes are an important essential to going places.

There are shoes for walking, dancing, and every special occasion known to man. If only men understood the importance of why women need so many pairs of shoes and why they buy them.

So, let’s enlighten them…

Unless she’s barefoot and pregnant, a woman needs to wear shoes. But then, if she’s barefoot and pregnant she wouldn’t want to leave the house in the winter time. Not unless, of course, without a pair of warm sturdy boots to keep her toes toasty from the cold winds and frosty snow.

In the summer when barefoot might be acceptable, a pair of flip flops or sandals are fashionable and easy to slide on for going outside for an afternoon stroll. But, if it’s early in the morning, or she’s off to the gym, a pair of sneakers might be more comfortable and practical.

Then, in the evening or going to work, a pair of sneakers might not look as snazzy with that dress or suit as a pair of nice dress shoes. A woman might need a slim pair of heels for an evening out, or a pair of elaborate flats to maneuver her way through work for the day.

If she’s going hiking or camping, it can’t hurt to have a pair of hiking boots, and if you’re planning on taking your gal fly fishing during the trip, she’s going need a pair of gulches to keep her feet from getting wet.

One rule of fashion, which often is hard to forget, is not every color matches and most clashes between footwear and attire unless you have selected the right pair of shoes to compliment the clothes. Those red shoes might look fabulous with her black suit, but unless she’s out to make a statement, you won’t find her caught dead wearing red shoes with an orange outfit.

Black and white can be boring and basic. If you want your lady to have as much personality in her clothes as in her footwear, be prepared to slide over your shoes and make room for her color choices in the closet.

Women need a variety of shoes for a variety of reasons. Shoes add style, comfort, and functionality to a woman’s day. Not to mention, she probably has a handbag or two that match her shoes, but we’ll save that for a discussion on another day.

I always heard the advice that when you start exercising, you should team up with a buddy so they will pull you into working out. Now they say don't rely on a buddy because if they don't work out, you don't work out. I have two buddies I share my workouts with, but they are far from being traditional friends.

Anyone who’s ever tried to tackle a lot of adversity in one sitting often fails – it’s like attempting to climb Mt. Everest on your lunch break. My grandmother had a cute little proverb that I still carry in my mind: “How do eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” So wise was her advice I find four years after she’s gone I still think back with fondness and regret I didn’t listen more.

The picture of the beat up sneakers that is the trademark logo for this extended series actually has a lot of meaning – and they’re mine. Those sneakers are probably eight years old and sat in a box for about four years. When I find sneakers I like, I often buy two pair so I’ll have a replacement when the first pair wears out. I started wearing this pair back in 2002 and subjected them to minimal use on weekends, so they remained almost new. That changed in the winter of 2003 when I went to Greece , and then made a jump to the country I hope to get stationed in, after the beginning of 2004.

I made those trips on the cheap – my flight from Texas to Athens cost me all of $75.00 (and all of my airline miles), and then a side trip to the other country only $300.00. In both places, I enjoyed the hospitality of good friends. I couldn’t have stayed home for a month for that price with utilities, so it was a no-brainer to shut down the house. Mentally, I was also in a bad place and a good friend forced me to get out of the area for a little while and find peace. Sometimes, the best thing about your friends is they can see what you’re going through even when you’re blind to it.

What does that trip have to do with sneakers? A lot. These sneakers looked brand new before my trip. The right toe got ripped open in Greece as I was climbing up a hill and punctured it with a tree root. The left toe got ripped open in the second country as I was climbing over a pile of rocks at a site with ancient Roman ruins. Of course two good tears into the shoes also pulled the rubber from the toes as well as stressed the sneaker’s ability to remain attached to the soles. They have rips on the sides from the many miles I walked.

Those shoes have a lot of good memories tied to them, including losing nearly forty pounds in the process. My “adopted” parents in the second country looked at my sneakers and wanted so desperately to get me a new pair. They took me to a shoe store, but they didn’t have my size. I was also sick as a dog that day with the second meanest case of the flu I’ve ever had. In the space of two hours, I went from being perfectly fine to barely able to get out of the car and into bed.

My sneakers are like old friends with wonderful stories to tell. They may be beat up, but they’re still usable. Of course they are drafty and on days when it rains, I’ve got my own private swimming pool between my toes. They are in awful shape, but I’m not ready to surrender them. I’m not sure if I should burn them like a flag, bury them in a marked grave, or at some point, retire them into a box of memories with their story, to gather dust and cobwebs.

For now, they remain my companions despite their obvious flaws partly because of great sentiment, but mostly because I’m broke. Under the old economics of my life, when I started a workout plan, I would go out and buy new sneakers and clothing for the task. This time, I’ve got nothing. My workout clothing consists of jeans with little holes starting around the back pockets, so they get along well with my religious sneakers. I figure I’ll keep wearing this stuff until the holes get so big, the local police will threaten to arrest me for indecent exposure.

There’s another old saying that comes to mind: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. As I step into the greatest challenges of my life, there is no better pair of sneakers I would want with me. They took me places I never thought I’d go and emboldened me to believe I could go anywhere and do anything.

Fitness magazines always give the same piece of advice: “when you start a work out plan, hook up with a buddy.” I have two buddies on my feet!
