I am scared and the only way I know how to get rid of my fears is to talk openly about them with my familiy and friends, essentially my inner most intimate community. This fear I have is so large though that I need to extend my request for help globally. 

The world is in shambles ( I don’t think there is anyone who would refute my claim). Are we not ready as a poeple to step up and correct ourselves and our actions? We all align ourselves with the group known as HUMANITY; but do we really deserve the priveledge anymore? Considering the defintion of  HUMANITY [the quality or state of being human or humane]. 

I am requesting of you my sisters and brothers to take a few moments out of your hurried lives and ask yourself this one question: “Do I have a secure connection with my provider, my Source?” While I am requesting your help I am also praying that you will be able to answer ‘yes’ to my question, if not today, then maybe today will be the day you take a conscious step closer to a ‘yes’. 

Being alive is not a right, it’s a privedge. At any given time on any given day the life you live and the world upon which you live it could all be taken away. POOF! Gone. No more. I ask you from my heart as a Global Community could we take the step where we begin to live our lives in a way as to be respetful and thankful for this priveledge we call life? 

There is a timer ticking away and the time to heed is now, right this very minute, before the timer stops! There are millions of people pushing and guiding us, and may gold bless them, but they are steering us in the wrong direction. I am urging my fellow brothers and sisters of our Global Community to STOP, and listen very carefully. Now is the time to go towards your Source, your Creator. Find that sweet spot within (you know the one) that just makes everything make sense to you. 

I’m not “pro-religion” nor am I suggesting everyone rush to a church or place of formal worship. I am however, urging us all to rush to a place of prayer. That place is easy to find, there are no prerequisites, special garments or parking meters. That place is within. If we want to survive and want to see world peace, we first must understand and exhibit internal peace. An internal peace that simpy can’t be pushed or eroded. 

We can’t possibly think that a few selected individuals, who pass laws and come up with expediaent, and unjust war plans to attack and ‘take out’ other nations’ leaders and people, hold the key to world peace. It is very unsettling that our security is in the hands of Warlords. I do not want to paint every individuals’ soul with the same tainted brush, there are those who are simply part of an agenda waged against them that they are unfortunately unaware of.

For too long we’ve been thinking that “what the eyes never seen, the heart would never ever feel” * We are a Global Community, there is no longer time to deny what and who we are. The facade we hold to be true is wrong. Of course, we hear about our Global Community but not enough. We have to remember that what we do in our own smaller communities will end up affecting the Global Community. It would be silly to think that the negativity shown to our brothers and sisters here locally isn’t going to affect the world at large. The huge injustices of the world carry over, they carry over because we are all connected. 

Out of the billions of ’self-help’ and ‘personal growth’ books we as a Global Community have purchased, gifted or borrowed we are in a sad state. The vast majority of those genres of books have the same root theme, “Get to know your Source/God/Creator”. There is a reason for this. Our very survival depends on it. We’ve strayed too far from ourselves, we don’t even recognize each other anymore. The books aren’t lying, re-connection to our Source is the oly way to world peace. The solution to all of our woes is within, if we can’t find and hold onto peace within we will never be able to find and sustain peace with our Global Community. 

In closing, it is my prayer that all of this or some part of this has reached or touched you at a soulstirring level. The highest in me respects the highest in you. Namaste. Peace, and God’s blessings to you all.

A healthy sex life is something most of us take for granted.  When we can get laid, we really enjoy the experience, but you have to feel for English girl Emma, 34, because intimate moments with her husband are causes for dread, not excitement. Emma is allergic to sex.

This would be difficult for any woman to deal with, but Emma only discovered her allergies when she met her new husband. Until then she had never had a problem in the bedroom, but has now developed a series of allergies, most significantly to latex and, astonishingly, her new husband’s semen.

Emma says. ”People snigger when they hear about my allergy, but it’s not a laughing matter, it could even kill me. Sex is a very important part of a relationship, of being close to somebody. You want to be spontaneous, but we can’t. It’s been a nightmare not being able to have a straightforward sex life.When we got married, for example, we weren’t able to have a passionate wedding night like other couples do. My allergies have made life very difficult.”

After undergoing skin tests she was diagnosed with an allergy to the latex in condoms which brought out a rash of hives across her stomach and private parts. She also suffers breathing difficulties similar to an asthma attack, as well as dizziness and headaches if she comes into contact with the substance.

To compound her misery, another trip to the doctor and more tests revealed that Emma had become allergic to semen as well.  How unlucky can a girl get? Emma and her French husband celebrate their first anniversary soon, and hope that sex will eventually be back on the menu properly.  She commented.

“Over time we’ve learned to deal with my allergies. Without going into detail it’s fair to say we have a healthy sex life, but we have to be more creative than other couples. The symptoms are reduced if I take an anti-histamine tablet – and there are always other things you can do in place of intercourse.”

It is not unusual for someone’s immune system to go suddenly haywire. But allergy to semen is incredibly rare and doctors will see one or two cases in their whole careers. Because it affects so few people there is very little known about it or how to treat it. So if you think your girl has problems in the sex department, think again.

That was one extreme of sex that could make any guy shudder, but this one will make you lick your lips. Attractive and intelligent London girl Ivonne Valentino has a problem, which is ruining her otherwise happy life. The 25-year-old is addicted to sex, and her compulsion once drove her to find 10 guys to make out with in one day.

Ivonne has slept with more than 100 men, and even when she does manage to form relationships, her sexual demands always result in her being ditched by her exhausted partners. The vivacious brunette is only too used to the nudge-nudge, wink-winks and fits of naughty giggling from those who fail to realise her condition is no joke.

 Now she is seeking counselling in a desperate bid to quell her lust and try to make a normal life for herself. ”For me sex is like breathing – I have to do it to live. I thought I was normal until I talked frankly with my girlfriends and they were shocked at my behaviour. I need sex as many times a day as I can get it. It sounds great – lots of people will think I’m just highly sexed – but for me it has become an addiction. I lost my last boyfriend over my demands. He felt overwhelmed and had to leave. I was devastated. I have no time for anything but sex, and I nearly lost a job because of it. My life is in tatters.”

The problem here guys, is that this girl thinks she is ill, somehow and needs to get better. ”I’ve had sex in parks at night and I was nearly caught in the act on a long-haul flight. I’ve gone back to loads of men’s houses. I’ve taken too many risks and I really want to stop. I can’t explain what drives me. It’s a genuine need of my body. I think my body is addicted to sex and my mind is addicted to the thrill of the chase. If I don’t have sex every day I get really tearful and angry at first, then depressed. I have to masturbate several times every day. I know people will think I’m either crazy or just man-mad, but neither is true. I feel like I crave sex like other people crave drink or drugs. Over the years my girlfriends have warned me that I could get hurt one day or even end up in trouble with the police. But I can’t help myself, even though I know they’re right. The only way I can change is to see a counsellor.”

Ivonne knows she has to conquer her obsession, but how many men fantasize about coming across a woman like her at least once in their lifetimes?  I know I do. About 6% of guys are said to be addicted to sex.  Paula Hall, UK sexual psychotherapist and Relate counsellor, said.

 ”Sex addiction is a recognised condition. The growth of the internet means that most common addiction is being hooked on web porn. For a sex addict, it is like an alcoholic spending time in a brewery. For someone to have an addiction and not just a high libido, sex has to dominate their every thought and make them feel out of control.”

If that sounds like you, then you sure are not alone. 60 year-old Michael Douglas reportedly attended a rehabilitation clinic in the early 90s for sex addiction, before he met Catherine Zeta Jones. Billy Bob Thornton and his then wife Angelina Jolie called it a day when the actor, 49, was accused of making a play for his sex therapist, and former West Wing star Rob Lowe aged 40, sought help after he was caught on camera with an under-age girl in 1988. Sextreme fantasy may make you smile with pleasure, but for some the reality is anything but pleasant.

According to The Center for Equal Opportunity, “Studies show that a Black or Hispanic undergraduate applicant is 500 times more likely to be admitted to Wisconsin-Madison than a similarly qualified White or Asian applicant.” In order to confront an ongoing discrimination (against minority and majority members), the Federal Government should radically amend and change former anti-discrimination policies (such as Affirmative Action) to create a more colorblind society through the distribution of resources and qualified teachers equally throughout the public schools of the United States of America to create a greater and fairer chance for true equal opportunity for all.

Across the United States, Reverse Discrimination, the act of denying a position at an institution or company to the “majority” (whites/males), has become a very real and apparent issue. The spark of Reverse Discrimination is Affirmative Action; the law enacted in 1965 that states that all institutions affiliated with the government must have at least 10% minority enrolled or employed in their system. Over time, the policy has changed into new and improved law in order to address specific problems, but of the same concept: minorities have an advantage over majorities when applying for a job or position at an institution. In recent times, people have begun to see what damage such a law may induce, and therefore, have begun to uncover new issues and topics surrounding Affirmative Action. For example, The Wall Street Journal discovered that after Proposition 209 (a law banning the state schools of California from taking race into account) was introduced, White and Asian population at all University of California colleges grew anywhere from 6% to 20% (Johnson). This statistic illustrates the shortcomings of Affirmative Action: a form of discrimination against the “majority,” and therefore discrimination against potentially more qualified candidates for positions at each of the Universities of California. The drastic increase in both White and Asian populous (both of whom are not minorities under Affirmative Action) directly after a law was enacted that cancels out Affirmative Action. This shows that the Asian/White applicants were better candidates, but were blocked access to these schools simply because of their skin color. A more specific example is that an Asian American applied to Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania, MIT, and Yale, but only got into Yale. At first, one may think that it was not because of his color, but because of his grades. But, this student got absolutely perfect SAT scores, got A’s or A+s in all nine of his advanced placement classes, but was still denied access to any of the above schools simply because of race (Marcus). Both of theses examples are two of many complaints and articles all describing one prominent issue, Reverse Discrimination.

The Federal Government, in order to confront the above issue, is capable and should be willing to change its policies in order to reach a greater good for all people, not just specific minorities. In order to reach a greater good, there are some steps that I would suggest be done. First, take small percentages (10%-25%) of all local taxes directed towards public schooling, and redirect it to the Federal Government (rate is susceptible to change depending on the economic stature of the local area) for schooling; using this enormous sum of money, large incentives should be made so that the better qualified teachers have a reason to want to go to the “bad” areas (Spanish Harlem, Downtown Baltimore, etc). These incentives should not only be larger pay, but also greater benefits for the teachers (such as healthcare, tax cuts, etc). Once such a policy is enacted, all surplus money filtering through should be used to create better facilities across the United States. Through completing the above steps, the government will have created a more balanced populous across every level of qualification. By creating more balance, laws such as Affirmative Action will not be needed because now no student has the disadvantage of background, and schools will hold all races. Also, through creating better education systems in the “bad” areas, the area itself may become a better place to live as a whole. Furthermore, this solution could create a worldwide revolution in anti-discrimination and may cause other countries to follow in our tracks.

Although there may be great opposition to the movement, this solution gets right down to the root of the issue and may, over time, create discrimination-free institutions. The opposition to this solution may say things like, if we pay lots of taxes for our county, we should get the benefits. This opposition is absolutely right, which is why the Federal Government will be taking only a small amount of extra taxes that will not only help the greater good, but will most likely come right back to your county to create better schooling for you, too. One may argue that the country’s best teachers will not voluntarily go to the most dangerous cities in the country. When supported by all of the extra benefits and money that will come with a job in a dangerous city, it will be hard for even the most prestigious teachers to resist. Over time, the more dangerous cities may eventually become better simply because of the better school system. Finally, people may say that Affirmative Action is working, why change it? On the outside, Affirmative Action is working, but if one searches deeper, the results will show that Affirmative action was useful, but now is beginning to cause unforeseen problems across the US. These new problems should be addressed for the better. The solution gives numerous benefits to both individuals, as well as the country as a whole. Should the Federal Government invest in this idea, the country could eradicate racial and gender discrimination when deciding whom to accept into one’s institution.

In conclusion, in order to confront an ongoing discrimination (against minority and majority members), the Federal Government should radically amend and change former anti-discrimination policies (such as Affirmative Action) to create a more colorblind society through the distribution of resources and qualified teachers equally throughout the public schools of the United States of America to create a greater and fairer chance for true equal opportunity for all.

So when will the countries we borrowed from come asking for there money back? Its really only a matter of time. Soon China is going to want their money, but you see, we don’t have any money! Then its going to turn nasty. I predict China asks first and eventually launches war against America. Then other countries who we owe debt to will start to do the same and at that point we’re looking at a third World War. Only this one will be the worst. The outcome? America will own half the world or America will be extinct. I don’t think there will be an “in between”

The only solution is immediate action by our “friends” on Capitol Hill. Yet, this is still extremely difficult. What can you cut? Education, they’re trying to and schools are already getting worse and drop out rates at record highs (http://www.edequality.org/facts/entry/drop_out_rate/) that’s definitely a bad idea. They could cut infrastructure, but then we would look like a third world country after 2-5 years. The most logical and friendly thing to cut would be OIL. There is about $604 Billion imported in oil each year if we were to completely cut oil (and thats not going to happen, but if we were) it would only take 25 years to pay the debt back assuming we don’t spend ANY more money than we have in that quarter of a century. Unfortunately cutting oil from America is impossible, but it would be a good start to only use our oil and promote other ways of getting energy. Let’s all hope that the American government can figure this thing out. And I mean everyone from Americans to Australians to South Africans to Germans. Because I like not being forced to hold a rifle in my hand before I plan on it. For many years people have been trying to learn true culture in America. Many people in America have failed to receive or be able to find this through college or the workaholic mainstream resulting in depression, massive unemployment and apathy. People move to their pleasures to find a sense of satisfaction in celebration, a release from the mundane and an exposure of their wild side. From here often people experience large rushes of creativity resulting in creation of music, art, writing, poetry, dancing, singing, the eastern arts and more. With the influx hitting the US in the 1960’s through what is known as hippie culture (or the modern day renaissance) many have found some sense of peace in going this route and have stood to make and re-make American culture in a way that works for themselves and their surroundings. These are the hippies turned yuppies that took this philosophy into the mainstream and helped to affect our culture. Again in the 90’s we had a rush of “Raves” that did the same thing, with the addition of the information age and the ability to obtain all kinds of information at the tip of your fingers through the world wide web. Events that represented the culture proved to shape and reshape our society injecting vibrations of hope of overcoming obstacles, a deeper sense of love, faith, caring about each other, sharing what is valuable with others and celebration of Life. To some it has become known alternative healing culture through intentional music, healing arts and edutainment is taking a stand for things that helping to solve some of the problems of our society (and spending a lot less money that mainstream culture to do so). People are walking away, impressed, awed, inspired and going home and using the passion and enthusiasm that they found in this new culture and rebuilding lost hopes into new dreams. When we experience great and amazing things, your body is becoming at one with heart, it is are telling their friends and family and they are checking it out and getting involved and therefore the festival circuit and conscious event circuits are growing in a very fast pace. At one of these events People walk from a stage where they hear their favorite music and over to a stage where a Unity Church Minister is talking about Universal Laws of Love and the person has an inner revelation, changing their mind set for the rest of their life turning them into a giving person to humanity who goes out and start a non-profit themselves based on Universal Laws of Love. Another person may be in high spirits from dancing to their favorite DJ and go listen to a comedian talk about how simple it is to recycle and use renewable energy. Feeling lifted and inspired this person goes home to do the action, tells others and feels so inclined to start a solar company impacting his region. This is how education works, it is based on passion, enthusiasm & creativity, without these sparked our society will not enjoy doing the work therefore it will be bland and uninspiring, leaving people apathetic.

The Dalai Lama himself said some of the best things that we could do as humans is produce festivals and celebrate life. This is why it is so important. These are trying times, where we continue to try what works and stop what doesn’t. We can use these events to educate the people of the nation to become better people, love themselves and the planet . I feel this is a very wise thing to invest in right now. If we were to Spend 10% of the money that would go to Banks and Housing market to fix our problems on the rapid advancements of these events, we would see a youthful energy within a few years. This will impact the SPIRIT of our land, the women that birth our children and the indigenous people of our land that have been saying the same things to use for quite some time. Its time to forgive ourselves and venture out like brave pioneers into a new world where we reshape the world into a world we want our children to grow into. We could learn how to start caring and remember how to feel the good parts of community; furthermore how that will help us get out of this crisis TOGETHER.
