There is no established system of naming the varieities of English; however two varieties of English can clearly be recognised, namely standard and non-standard English Standard English is further divided into three kinds, viz.

i. General English
ii. Formal English
iii. Informal English.

Don’t take what I said the wrong way! What I meant by proper English is how you spell a word in a correct way. You start a new sentence with a capital letter on the first word and end it with a period or question mark. That is a simple thing to do, but if you ignore it, you might have a problem when some time you have to write in formal English.
