1. The Future of Life

like a science fiction movie about the future? If so, you definitely see the picture of the future that is almost the same: bersliweran flying cars and robots everywhere.

In addition to the above, many movies are predicting incident occurred in the 21st Century (film 2001: Space Odyssey (1968) even refers to journeys into space plural conducted in 2001!). Well, we’re going beyond the first 10 years of the 21st century. But, on the streets there is still no flying cars or robot who becomes a servant in our house.

Hm, copy of Time, this list is to remind any predictions that have been made by men about life in the future but not so obvious (until now).

2. Earth Human Use the same clothes

Jerry Seinfield once made lelocun funny about this: “Every time I see a movie or TV series contains the people in the future or from a different planet, all wearing the same clothes. Apparently, there was a time they decide, ‘Okay, enough. From now on, this dress will be our uniform: a tight silver dress with a V on the chest and boots. That was enough. We want to go to another planet danmesti seen as a team. “In the TV series and the films Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, or a variety of films about space exploration, all wearing the same uniform or if different colors, patterns similar fashion.

It seems, everyone in the future had orders to throw all the clothes in their closet and only one type of clothing: school uniforms. Fortunately, we still want to look different from others and are more comfortable not wearing a uniform while on the go.

3. Jet Packs

Jet Packs is a kind of jet that functioned much like a backpack. Instead of carrying a bag, your back carrying jet engines which could then fly you. Initially, this idea emerged in the 1920s in science fiction magazines like Amazing Stories and then appeared again in one of the James Bond films (Thunderball) and comic (and film) The Rocketeer.

Just so you know, Nazi Germany never seriously do some research by attaching a jet engine to the body of the pilot they tried to fly over the field. However, the experiment was never fully-betulberhasil. But, the dream of making jet packs perbnah not fade.

This year, says Time, a manufacturer of aircraft in New Zealand Martin Aircraft Company signed a cooperation agreement worth $ 12 million to start making jet packs and eventually will be sold free anti. Hm, may soon come true.

4. Food In Pill Form

Use of food in the future is forecast to come in pill form. Once ate a pill, it is full. It is hard to be real because the average person needs two thousand calories a day. If calories are compressed and so a pill, we still have to swallow the pill setngah pound a day. That does not include carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and other useful.

Hm, still more delicious slice of pizza or a cheese burger, huh? Nevertheless, it does not mean eating a kind of pills dream vanished. Researchers at the Institute of Food Research in Norwich, England, said they were in the final stages of creating candy that tastes like a full meal.

5. World Government

In various TV series or a sci-fi movies ranging from Star Trek, Babylon 5, and all sorts again, the world no longer consists of various countries, but there is one single penerintahan that govern all human beings on earth.

That government can shape the Federation, Pesekutuan, or even the United Nations. How the emerging world government? Robert Heinlein, who wrote the novel Starship Troopers (which was later filmed 1997), explaining how the one world government is created.

Global governance Terran Federation created after many democratic countries fell to chaos in the 21st century, which then allowed the military to take over and establish a single country in the world. Well, do not let the incident deh.

6. Flying Car

Flying car is the most common picture of a future world. City of the future must be filled with flying cars bersliweran. Pop culture, through movies, comics, TV series, to perpetuate that image. Series The Jetsons, Back to the Future trilogy, Blade Runner to The Fifth Element featuring flying cars.

Supposedly, the flying car is not too difficult to materialize. We already have cars and airplanes. So, what is hard to make a car fly? Well, maybe it’s hard to build a flying machine with a capacity of a car. We’ll wait.

7. Journey Across Time

We’ve been tempted many times that time travel is possible through the work of literature (The Time Machine), movies (Back to the Future, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure), and TV (Quantum Leap, Time Trax, Doraemon). But, until now, the concept of a walk into the past or the future is still fiction. Unless you believe that Bill Gates and Steve Jobs is the man who leaked the future of technology in our future.

8. Teleportation

It must be nice to move instantly from one place to another. We do not need a car, plane or other vehicle, and of course, will save time. Jakarta congestion problems go away if we can find this tweknologi. But unfortunately, the technology until now ni still exist in the new alias fiction series Star Trek and the like.

Despite the fiction, so make it a real step was initiated. A number of physicists, and even the United States Air Force, researching what people can move through such a wormhole. May quickly become real deh.

9. Underwater Cities

In addition to the unlimited space, deep sea also gave a similar mystery. James Cameron made The Abyss which assumes an alien living on the ocean floor. The filmmakers had a past era of fresh ideas: the city under the sea! B grade movies in the 1950s to assume the character to live with human beings that amphibians breathe with gills and live in the beautiful city under the sea.

Indeed, with rising sea levels as global warming, we should think of building a city underwater. Underwater city does not yet exist, the existing luxury hotel in Dubai offers the sensation of dining under the sea.

10. Human Cyborg

Half man, half machine. That cyborg aka cybernetic organism. This term appears the famous 1960’s and 1970’s through the series The Six Million Dollar Man. In the series, so after half an engine, Steve Austin to be “Better. Stronger. Faster. “

Currently, there are a number of human body parts such as hands replaced the machine-replacement machine that lost the hand because of an accident. But no one then would have a super power like the Bionic Man, Bionic Woman, or Robocop.

If later on be real, what is no guarantee cyborg super power is only used for good? Well, think about it deh before creating cyborg.

11. A World Destroyed Due to Large Disasters

There have been many science fiction films predict the future world can be bleak. Nuclear disasters destroy billions of human beings and the earth no longer familiar to ditinggali.Atau, such severe pollution to the earth so damaged.

We are fortunate to forecast has not happened. Because, if that happens then the world would be in danger kedaan. If developed countries can actually do that, then what happens when a country has not advanced?

Ghostly witches make men fight to the death even though that's what they were doing in the first place, and vampires join in too.

TV REVIEW BLAKES SEVEN SERIES ONE EPISODE EIGHT DUEL 1978

Spoiler alerts

An episode that largely follows the plot of classic Star Trek’s Arena. A very tense space battle sees the Liberator surrounded by three Federation space battle cruisers, in the charge of the formidable tactician, Travis.

Blake is reduced to trying to suicidally ram Travis’s ship to break free from the trap, but the ships are frozen in their tracks a few feet from collision. Te freezing is due to interference by two ghostly witches straight out of Macbeth, on a forest World full of the graves of ancient mighty warriors.

The witches invite Blake and Travis to fight a duel to the death in the woods, to teach them valuable lessons in war. Travis relishes the potential for bloodshed while Blake is more concerned for his ship and crew.

The crews of the vessels are left on helpless ships, watching events unfold on TV screens. However, the witches to both aid and complicate the duel as the men pursue one another through the forests take one member of each crew.

Blake’s assistant is Jenna, while Travis is given one of his mutoids as a companion. Though mentioned in an earlier episode this is the first real look at the mutoids in the series. They are genetically enhanced vampires, fed by synthetic blood in tubes they carry in their chests, which need changing daily, though they can drink fresh blood straight from human and animal veins when it is available.

There is a great touch of macabre humour when the mutoid refreshes her temporarily by feeding on the vampire bats that attack her and Blake in the woods at night.

The episode captures a rare insight into Travis’s softer side. Despite his air of indifference to his expendable mutoid forces, he strikes up a bond of affection with his mutoid pilot in the woodland chase. He knows the forgotten past she had erased from her memory when turned from human to mutoid and tries to tell her about it, only to find she is genuinely uninspired by the story.

Jenna kills the mutoid in self-defence, but Blake spares Travis, partly from his convenient and unconvincing conviction that he knows how Travis thinks and that he likes to have someone weak enough to defeat in pursuit of his crew.

The witches applaud Blake’s humanity and reasoning and set him free first, giving The liberator crew a head start on the Federation forces who give chase again once their own ships are released from the power of the witches.

Silly, and sometimes dark, not to mention derivative, with unexpectedly soft moments, especially between Travis and his mutoid friend.

Arthur Chappell

U.S. President Barack Obama said that it is insensitive and brain in dealing with life, mentioning it to "Mr. Spock" of Star Trek as a counter-example to his personality in a show Friday.

Asked by journalist Barbara Walters on ABC that believes that “the erroneous conception” about it, you have people who do not know, Obama said: “The idea that I’m insensitive, as Spock, and very cerebral “.

Hero of a famous television series of the 1980s, “Star Trek” character “Spock” is known for its attempts to suppress emotions in favor of logic.
“In fact, can be very sensitive. The problem for me in this area is that, usually, the media or people want to show your emotions. And if you look dramatically, do not pass the barrier screen,” said Chairman, according to extracts published by ABC before the broadcast program.

On 1 May, when he gave direct orders to be taken by storm a fortified house in Pakistan, where Osama bin Laden is hiding, just hours before the end of this operation completed with al Qaeda leader’s death, Obama played golf and as if nothing had happened.

U.S. media noted that cool Obama has shown, Los Angeles Times among others stressing that the president has the perfect attitude of a “poker” with an impassive expression.

Going into the 21st Century is a beautiful time to live. The science of Star Trek is being proven more true now than ever before. Science is starting to catch up with us Ufologists and it is a beautiful time to be alive.

Today we are proud to show all the laymen the true cloaking device. It is apparent that star trek back in the 1960’s have speculated it’s existence but it is true now more than ever.

Not only are we in the time of the most amazing technology, but it brings us closer as a species of where we are supposed to be. The actual mission of our species was to be a peace loving colony that was seeded here many ages ago. The Galactic Federation would have to exist in the effort to balance an entire universe a council would have to be present to prevent any chaotic mass from even developing.

So far in science we have started to develop a cloaking device, and an Inertia Canceler. These are things that would have been unheard of back in the 1970’s. This is why we had help.

It is discovered by science that there are things called cycles of the galaxy that man can not undo. This is the reason for the boost to give us a chance to develop properly. This would mean there has to be a way to eliminate those that can not adapt to the changing environment and realize the truth. These would be a waste and must be cleansed.

It is A cycle that happens to a planet when it reaches a state of development that it needs to stretch outward to continue to grow. I am glad to live in such a time. You can see the results of the references to see the development of our science fact.

Scientists are actually working on a Tricoder.

Most us, getting our first cell phone couldn’t help but say; “beam me up Scotty”. What was only imagined in the 60s is common place today.

Ten million dollars has been set aside to develope a Tricoder.

The focus is medical.

Researchers from Oregon State University are exploring ultra wideband. They believe the technology could be used effectively in real time health diagnosis, transmitting huge amounts of data.

The ultra-low power consumption is another benefit as it could be powered by no more than body heat.

With the potential to send a million of bits per second this might be increased to billions.

Most scientists are optimistic that the technology could be attainable and treat a variety of diseases, even anticipate heart attacks.

The Time line? Approximately; Five Years!

Explaining the logic of a brilliant plan by world leaders to destroy our earth for a quick buck.

If you were stuck inside a castle under siege with only a limited amount of food supplies, which of the following two options would you choose?

A/ ration the food to make it last as long as possible.
or
B/ have a big party and let everyone eat it all up as fast as they can

If you chose option B, you are obviously a person with vision and have a clear grasp of your place in this world. You are not alone. Thanks to the vigilance of our leaders, we are now looking at a world ready to fulfill its destiny. That destiny, of course, is to grow the world economy to unprecedented levels. The economy must grow, no matter what. Sometimes I dream about a day when every single member of our exploding world population will have instant access to any product in the world, just like on Star Trek. A day when every man, woman and child will have a spaceship, a big screen TV and enough space mile points left over for whatever else they might need.

We should be excited by the fact that there will be so many more billions of people, helping to grow the global economy. Soon, with triple the population we have today, we will have the greatest of opportunities to secure our future as a species. We will be able to explore every inch of this earth for more resources to help grow the economy. All we have to do is provide the extra zillion jobs the economy will need in order to keep growing, indefinitely, to unseen heights. A world filled with eager consumers, ready to exploit any and all options to get ahead. Now there’s a dream you can hang your hat on and feel comfortable with.

Our level of intelligence as a species allows us to make superior judgements. Refusal to reduce oil consumption is one smart move, as well as the construction of thousands of nuclear power plants. That’s what I call thinking about our future. Besides, I like plans in which real costs are not an issue. It shows tremendous courage and foresight. Another plan, which impressed me tremendously, is the increased use of arable land for growing inedible biofuel vegetation. This is pure genius as it will only prompt further innovation in finding ways for people to eat other things, such as moss and jellyfish. Nothing like a belly full of fresh ocean jelly, as you bomb around on bio fuel.

If the earth is a castle under siege by a wall of radioactive space, then we are doing exactly the right thing. Consume what we have as fast as we possibly can. It will be interesting to see how fast we can actually harvest any remaining global resources for quick consumption. Humans are extremely adaptable and have learned that you may as well gobble it up as fast as you can because you don’t know how long it is going to last. In other words, do everything and anything to grow, grow, grow the economy at all cost.. Hmmmm I like that logic. It sounds crazy, but it just might work.

A personal encounter with Jean-Luc Picard and Chakotay.

Isn´t it funny how you manage to ignore a certain series that literally everyone is talking about? You don´t want to be a part of an annoying mass movement sort of thing – and all it takes is for two characters to enter the scene to change your whole attitude?! I always successfully avoided to watch Star Trek until I watched ´Enterprise´ with Jean-Luc Picard and ´Voyager´ with Chakotay. I continued watching because of those two men and I´m wondering why. What is it about those two lads that makes me watch a series that i was never interested in before?

It´s not easy to answer that question because it involves different aspects of two very different men. Jean-Luc Picard is always calm. He remains in control no matter what happens. He is also very protective of his crew and always looks after their well-being. He is a bit like a father figure. You feel like you can always talk to him. He´ll always listen to you. I also like his friendship with Data because both Picard and Data need each other and gain a lot from that relationship. Data learns more about human behaviour which is often irrational because it is influenced by emotions. Picard starts questioning his own behaviour and he starts wondering why he behaves the way he does. He realises that being human has both advantages and disadvantages. Humans don´t always make the logical choice; the ´right´ one because they also include their emotions in their decisions whereas Data for example always makes the logical decision because he has no emotions, no feelings, no sentiments. By watching Picard and Data, however, you start to realise that life would be a lot ´poorer´, a lot less exciting without emotions. This becomes clear when Data tries to have a relationship. He fails miserably because he needs to feel things like empathy to be able to have any relationship at all. This means that you NEED emotions to have relationships, to feel love, excitement and joy. It would be impossible to create exciting, interesting (short) stories, novels and poems if the author wasn´t able to feel ALL the emotions – the good and the bad – that life has to offer.

Chakotay also has the leadership skills that Picard has. Chakotay, however, is presented on a less intellectual level than Picard. Chakotay is able to show his feelings more. This becomes evident when watching Chakotay with Janeway. It´s most evident in the episode where Chakotay and Janeway are stranded on an island together and they don´t know if they will get saved. They really struggle with their feelings because they care deeply for each other but they know they can´t have a relationship if they want to be good leaders for their crews. I like Chakotay because he is a very handsome lad with a cute accent and an interesting personal background.

Both characters would be interesting to meet in real life IF they were real people. Picard is someone you´d have lunch with and you´d spent hours and hours discussing current world affairs. Chakotay, however, is someone you´d have dinner and a glass of wine with and you´d probably end up fancying because he has the looks and you´d want to know everything about him because of his background.
