That’s the strength of being in a group. Young people today, are showing us the importance of being in a group. If parents don’t have time to guide their children, chances are, they will join a group that will influence them to act the way they do. A worker in a company will find it best to be associated with other workers. This results in more productivity.

Some years ago, former American prisoners during the World War II were interviewed to determine what methods had been effective in breaking their spirit. It is interesting to note that they break down quickly when they are confined alone, apart from friends. These soldiers said that they draw their strength from close attachments they had formed in their  small military units where they belonged.

These examples and real life experiences gives us an insight why we need to be in association with a group. A group that is beneficial to our growth and development in all areas of life, physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually. The choice of association is fatal whether we be a blessing to society or a curse.

Are you part of a group that will enhance your development and that of others? Consider one today.

Why can’t we live a life on this earth, in this life shaped and created with love, concern, joy, happiness and love.  Truth of this matter we can, could, should and must live with these values and convictions.

The first day I walked by myself to Kindergarten was a Sunny Autumn morning. I cried nearly ever step of the way – but I bet Mom really wasn’t too far away and every tear must have hurt her dearly. But she knew there would be a time I would have to step out on my own. As much as she loved me she knew I would have to go on my own eventually – she knew I’d be okay, but it didn’t make it hurt much less.

For some of us, we know that death is not a final ending. We might not all have the same faith and some of us might not believe in an afterlife and do not believe in what that afterlife is even if we believe in it. However when we are faced with mortality, the separation from our loved ones by that veil of death, no matter how firm our faith, there is a feeling of pain and loss. Like a parent sending their child to school. Or like a child going leaving home to live away from home to go to university or college, we know it is happening and it is proper that it happens, but even though we know that we can still love our loved ones who are separate from us – it will never be the same.

Even as that time approaches, even if the brush with mortality is not mortal on that occasion, it foreshadows the eventual separation. We feel the upcoming pain of separation.

I think, I pray not that someone close does not die. I do not know the proper time of their passing. I know it will happen when it is God’s Will – for that is my belief – and so my prayer is for strength and understanding in the time of tears over the separation. I pray for comfort for those around me and the person who is facing mortality. I pray for strength so that I can help comfort those around me who need it an so that I do not become a burden in taking too much energy in personal needs for comfort myself.

I know that knowing and feeling are different things. I feel the pain even though I know the parting is temporary and if and when it happens it is God’s Will and that in truth my beloved one is not that far away – just not so huggable. I cry just thinking of the separation. Like Mom must have when I walked alone at 5 to kindergarten that first day.

  People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.

 Forgive them anyway.

            If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.

 Be kind anyway.

            If you are successful, you will win some

unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.  

Succeed anyway.

           If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.  

Be honest and sincere anyway.

            What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. 

 Create anyway.

            If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.  

Be happy anyway.

            The good you do today, will often be forgotten.

Do it Anyway

It is always hard life right?  No it is not meant to be hard, in fact we make it hard.  We often want to please everyone and end up pleasing no one.  Why?

Because we by nature are a giving person.   When we are  a young child we wanted to please our parents, our friends and as we grew older we wanted not only to fit in but we took chances to stand out.

Some of course don’t want you to stand out, they are afraid they are not going to measure up, they want to hold you back or at the very least even with them. They fear you will leave them or that your success will no longer demand time spent with them.  Is this always true…..no.  Nothing is always factual for every situation however, the fact is people love to cheer on the underdog in life but they will always follow the best.  

Its best sometimes to help the underdog. Teach the underdog and make that underdog your friend.  You will indeed find loyalty in that friend because most cheer for them but most abandon them.

When you stand out in the sea of frowns as I like to call it others may wonder your motive or intention.  What others think about you is none of your business. Remember that?  Smile anyway!  Choose happiness anyway.  Love and care and share anyway.  In the end you will be happy you chose the way you did.

Stand out and stand up in the sea of anxiety.  Stay calm and poised and ready to step in for that moment when you can be that light for others.  They are watching you, they may be grumbling, complaining, anxious and angry but they are watching.  Stay your course, stay on path and love the life you have chosen to live.

A life of dreaming big!  Staying hungry and staying foolish.

A life of sharing that sincere smile!  Always knowing that the next smile shared may make all the difference to someone.

A life of sharing in laughter!  You will breathe deeper and your laughter will be contagious.  Share it and watch the light in the room grow brighter and full of energy.  Laughter can heal and it can be a powerful too against anger and fear.

A life of hope and belief in the good this world has to offer.  Never become cynical.  Sure is there bad in the world yes but often it is very misguided and overblown by the media and news outlets.  There has always been evil in the world but when we position ourself and surround ourself with the love of our creator and the power of his word we will become in that good place, that safe place and we will be able to discern the negative energy before we become part of it.  

Stay in your warmth of prayer and daily meditation and stay in your Gratitude Attitude and watch your day unfold.  Start your day with positive words in the mirror and self talk that is only energetic and full of love for yourself and the world.  Stop being that negative energy and start to let your love flow endlessly.

Is this all possible?  Of course it is and if you stay the course and live a life that is worth living record it.  Get your journal or your computer fired up and leave behind your story.  Leave behind a record or your children, and their children and for those who really cared to come back to.

We indeed feel courage among many other things, we feel empowered and strong.

When we look in that mirror and see ourselves can you say you truly love yourself?  Courage comes from that self love and appreciation as well.

Being loved is a human need. It gives us so much significance.  It strengthens us.

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a 

sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and 

being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.

If you truly can wrap around your head that your a creation from the highest then you can understand that you were created with a purpose and perfection.  God makes no mistakes.
If you can truly understand that your always being loved then the warmth and richness in your life will always be present.
Now take this a step forward how do I share this warmth and richness with another.  Who at this moment does not get that understanding.  Maybe they don’t believe in a God, maybe they feel empty from all the pain they currently feel or maybe they are just numb to it all.
So how do we share in this knowledge?
Be the love and the light for them.  Share a simple sincere smile, filled with richness and warmth.  Give a moment to say a kind word, share a laugh, open your heart and give something that may spark another persons light from within.
Share and care about another persons right to be loved.  It is a right just like the right to breathe, its a need.  Share and care today.
When we give love we also will understand that being loved is just as important as giving love.  For when we give it will surely give us warmth and richness.
No one can truly love you, if you are not truly loving you! 
Fall in love with you and you will discover what being loved is all about.

Those that cling to doubt and suspicion must wake up and realize that a better relationship among nations would help each others economy in which there should be no strings attached. The antiquated system of governments that look inward is fading away. Capitalism does not have to isolate the poor and middle class. There are deficiencies in governments that can be rectified. Globalization can be compared to a long chain, consisting of numerous links, the links being the people in general that constitute each nation. Analogically, the links help maintain the chain. People of every class that are linked to form the chain of globalization should consider themselves indispensable, since globalization must depend on the firmness and strength of the links from which it is formed.

It is time to remove restrictions in trade, and open up avenues of goodwill and trust. Hopefully, when these are realized, peace and understanding would be internationally attained.

It behooves those that remain suspicious about globalization to merge with those that are in favor of getting it off the ground and into the highway of confidence and trust where there would be an acceleration of trade without interruption.

Life As We Knew It

I never thought that life would be so unpredictable that one day you’ll wake up and keeping your self believe in the idea that this day would be just like an ordinary day in your life. I am somehow confident that this day would be so productive and that it will end up so fine.

Many times in my life, I thought of the possibility of turning back time. The time when I decided of how things would run my world and how this world would affect me. But what’s wonderful about time is that you can always have it, but if it passes by you can never have it again. Because time exists for those who believe that everything is made and must be done in the right time.

This day started like everything is in place and people are more exciting and full of enthusiasm. But I overlooked something, something that is very much important and helpful in building the foundation of my future. I believed, but fear is hunting me. I trust, but stress is pulling me. I have faith, but destiny is stopping me. My world just fell into pieces. I am standing here but my mind is wandering somewhere. I couldn’t lift my legs. I couldn’t move my arms, yet, I managed to come into my senses. There is still light. There is still hope. There is life!

If there is one thing that is very significant about this day is the idea of rising from a failure which would make you not only a survivor but a stronger and more faithful person. Yes, this is a cruel world, but this world has molded us. It should not be the world that must be adjusting to us it must be the other way around. Bottom-line is no matter how many times you fall; you will bounce up again and face the world. Because life indeed is like driving a car, for it to start you must need to have the fuel, the engine, and the driver.
