Payoffs, Pimps and whores as well as cars, parties, dinners, and other special recruiting tools were evidently common place at the University of Miami, Florida. Nevin Shapiro a local University of Miami, Florida booster who had New Jersey roots, and worked his way from a supporter and contributor to the Miami football program, all the way up to master pimp.

Mr. Shapiro is a well known investor entrepreneur from the Miami, Dade county area, who was convicted of conducting a $930 million dollar Ponzi scheme. Mr. Shapiro provided 11 months of in depth interviews revealing the fact that he supplied Thousands of illegal benefits to over 70 different student athletes, with the knowledge and participation of some 7 different coaches from 2002 through 2009.

Mr. Shapiro who decided to work with local prosecutors and the NCAA team of investigators, stated that his eight year involvement with the University of Miami program, was an investment that ran into Millions of dollars. Mr. Shapiro’s allegations state that he provided cash, prostitutes, parties and entertainment on his multi million dollar yacht, and one of his multi million dollar mansions. Mr. Shapiro stated that he also footed the bill for expensive dinners and entertainment from high end restaurants and night clubs.

Mr. Shapiro was co-owner of a Axcess Sports & Entertainment Agency, who signed former U of M athletes Vince Wilfolk and John Beason. Mr. Shapiro alleges that he provided cash and special “favors” for scores of Miami athletes during his tenure as a football booster and sport’s agency co-owner.

Devin Shapiro with U of M Basketball Coach Frank Haith, presenting a check for $50,000.00 to the University official Brenda Shalala at a fund raising event.

SHOP for Christmas at Amazon.com & Kindle Ebook…hot new books…”Stacie Wilde’s Wilde Times”…”Wild Ride”…….”Jack the Surfer Dude pt.1,2,3,4″……”Poetry of Life”….”Collective Works of a Genius”….Collective Works of Poetry”….Now Available.

Shapiro said many of those same players were also being funneled cash and benefits by his partner at Axcess, then-NFL agent and current UFL commissioner Michael Huyghue. Shapiro said he also made payments on behalf of Axcess, including a $50,000 lump sum to Wilfork, as a recruiting tool for the agency.

Yahoo! Sports who were primary sources in breaking this huge sport’s scandal audited approximately 20,000 pages of financial and business records from his bankruptcy case. Additionally, more than 5,000 pages of cell phone records, multiple interview summaries tied to his federal Ponzi case, and more than 1,000 photos were reviewed in an effort to substantiate Shapiro’s allegations. Nearly 100 interviews were also conducted with individuals living in six different states. In the process, documents, photos and 21 human sources – including nine former Miami players or recruits, and one former coach – corroborated multiple parts of Shapiro’s rule-breaking.

Shapiro with one of his alleged recipients of multiple “favors” Kellen Winslow Jr. former Cleveland Brown and current Tampa Bay football player.

Associate AD for Communications Freet stated “When Shapiro made his allegations nearly a year ago, he and his attorneys refused to provide any facts to the university”. “We notified the NCAA enforcement officials of these allegations. We are fully cooperating with the NCAA and are conducting a joint investigation. We take these matters very seriously.”

Shapiro’s misguided attempts to assist the U of M athletes may have just the opposite effect on the football powerhouse. Shapiro described acts that could include violations of multiple parts of bylaw 11, involving impermissible compensation to coaches; multiple parts of bylaw 12, involving amateurism of athletes; multiple parts of bylaw 13, involving improper recruiting activity; and multiple parts of bylaw 16, involving extra benefits to athletes.

If Shapiro’s allegations prove to be true, the amount of time involved and the willful cooperation of university representatives would open the door to the NCAA’s “willful violations” exception to its four-year statute of limitations. Under bylaw 36.2.3, an investigation can expand beyond the statute if information reveals that an individual tied to a university has engaged in “a pattern of willful violations” over a sustained period beyond the previous four years.

By Shapiro’s own admissions his involvement with athletes, coaches and boosters ranged from 2003 through 2009. According to Shapiro’s statements to authorities, funds totalling as much or more then one million dollars of funds derived from an illegal Ponzi scheme were used for cash payments, prostitutes, and “entertainment” for Miami players.

Documents show a booster who broke NCAA rules, while simultaneously making tens of thousands of dollars in annual contributions to Miami’s athletic program. Mr. Shapiro did all of this, while incurring massive bills aligning himself socially with a stable of Miami players. A stable that features multiple elite players such as Wilfork, Beason, Andre Johnson,Devin Hester, Kellen Winslow Jr., Antrel Rolle and many more – including at least 12 players currently on the Hurricanes roster.

According to Shapiro ”Luther Campbell was the first uncle who took care of players before I got going,” referring to the entertainer notorious for supplying cash to Miami players in the 1980s and 1990s. He was ‘Uncle Luke,’ and I became ‘Little Luke.’ Effort of the university served to lessen and/or eliminate the influence Luther Campbell had on the athletic program and players, only to have Shapiro pickup where Campbell left off.

“Yeah, I’m guilty,” said Shapiro, whose plea to counts of securities fraud, conspiracy to commit securities fraud and money laundering resulted in a 20-year federal prison sentence. Shapiro also has one prior conviction on his record – an assault case from 1995 in which he pled guilty to punching a nightclub owner. Shapiro was sentenced to 18 months probation in that case. But I’m telling the truth about what happened at Miami. It’s the truth. And you tell me, why should the University of Miami be exempt from the truth?”

Shapiro dining with Basketball Coach Frank Haith and assistant coach Jake Morton.

• Shapiro broke rules with Coaches and Staffers: Shapiro said he violated NCAA rules with the knowledge or direct participation of at least six coaches – Clint Hurtt, Jeff Stoutland, and Aubrey Hill on the football staff, and Frank Haith, Jake Morton and Jorge Fernandez on the basketball staff. According to sources at Yahoo Sports, Shapiro also violated NCAA rules with football assistant Joe Pannunzio.

Among the specific incidents, Shapiro or other sources say Hurtt, Hill, Stoutland, Pannunzio and Allen all delivered top-tier recruits to Shapiro’s home or luxury suite so the booster could make recruiting pitches to them. Among the players who were ushered to Shapiro while they were still in high school: Eventual Miami commitments Ray-Ray Armstrong, Dyron Dye and Oliver Vernon (prompted by Hurtt); eventual Florida commitments Andre Debose and Matt Patchan (prompted by Stoutland and Pannunzio).

Such revelations by the Miami Booster could serve to have the NCAA issue the dreaded “Death Penalty” to the U of M athletic program, and deservedly so. One of the most distrubing aspects of this degenerates influence on the U of M football program was the issuance of “bounties” on opposing players with awards as high as $5000.00 for substantially causing injury to the opposing players.

Three sources, including two former Miami football players, confirmed that Shapiro offered bounties.

According to Yahoo Sports Shapiro had a number of individual payouts for “hit of the game” and “big plays.” He also put bounties on specific players, including Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and a three-year standing bounty on Seminoles quarterback Chris Rix from 2002 to 2004, offering $5,000 to any player who knocked him out of a game.

“We pounded the [expletive] out of that kid,” Shapiro said of Rix. “Watch the tape of those games. You’ll see so many big hits on him. Guys were all going after that $5,000 in cash. [Jon] Vilma tried to kill him – just crushed him – a couple of times trying to get that $5,000. And he almost got it, too.”

Vilma didn’t return a call seeking comment.

All in all the extremely well documented and diligent investigation conducted by Yahoo Sports, substantiated much of the allegations by the former Miami Booster Shapiro. Included in those allegations, Shapiro claims that he spent outrageous sums of money to provide entertainment, prostitutes, sex parties, jewelry, cars, money and facilities to former students and athletes of the University of Miami, Florida Hurricanes. This type of misguided enticement of high school players must be dealt with by issuing the most severe of sanctions available to the NCAA to discourage other misguided programs from failing to police their programs.

The University of Miami is no stranger to NCAA violations having been previously penalized in 1994 when 57 U of M players were involved in a Pell Grant scheme uncovered by federal prosecutors. Repeated violations by a university who wishes to hide behind the “ignorance” excuse can no longer be tolerated. It is beyond any rational thinking that such flamboyant behaviour and extreme actions could have been beyond the recognition of university officials. The days of hiding their heads in the sand, has long since passed, and penalties and sanctions should not only include the university, and coaches, but should also include possible ineligibility of college offenders to participate in professional sports.

The contagious effect of “bad” high school athletes on good college programs, and then on good professional teams has been too long tolerated in American sports. Player’s attorneys can no longer argue that these are but innocent children under the bad influence of greedy, manipulative adults. In this case, as in most cases, players actively sought out and requested the assistance of boosters who willingly provide “favors” to help satisfy the athletes. There was a day when young high school athletes were thrilled to be offered a scholarship to a top educational and athletic program such as the University of Notre Dame, the University of Michigan, Boston College, Standford and others. Now, high school student athletes hold press conferences to “announce” their acceptance into the university of their choice.

The former sanctity and purity of college athletics has been corrupted by greedy, spoiled “brat” athletes who feel college athletics is but a stepping stone to pro sports and the riches soon to be theirs. Such has been witnessed by the sad series of events at Ohio state and the formerly highly regarded Coach Tressel. College players who by their greed and insensitivity to the impact their actions could have on their mentors, openly seek “favors” from willing alumni or boosters.

I for one, believe all of college sports should require NCAA supervised academic testing of all student/athletes, to make sure they even have met the academic qualifications of the university as a student. Then and only then, should athletes be allowed to move through a collegiate academic system, in hopes of gaining a position with the professional sports world. The constant stream of “bad boy” athletes eventually convicted of a wide range of offenses once they reach the professional ranks has become a sad commentary on modern day professional sports.

The University of Miami should have their athletic program suspended from participation in college athletics for an extended period of time, and returned only if they can demonstrate an ability to completely eliminate any re-occurrence of past actions. Certainly, the alleged violations of NCAA rules and standards has far exceeded any and all “KNOWN” violations by any collegiate program previously. The NCAA should immediately suspend all scholarship awards by both the football and basketball programs based on the allegations of Shapiro, and the confirmation of those incidents, by former U of M athletes. The constant coddling of bad athletic programs, with bad athletes, has to end. It is the responsibility of the NCAA to take whatever actions, no matter how extreme, to end this rampant existence of abuse by program forever in search of the almighty dollar!

Before it was the striptease it was satire.

The literal meaning of burlesque is to “send up”, “to joke”. It is thought to be derived from the Latin “burra” meaning triviality, then the Spanish “burla” meaning jest and, finally the Italian “burlesco” and then the French “burlesque”. It was a literary parody of sorts, in Europe, where it began. It was lewd satire perform in theatres. From the 14th to the 17th centuries, writers used the satire they called burlesque to criticize society and politics. Even Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, William Makepeace Thackeray’s Vanity Fairand Miguel de Cervantes’ Eight Comedies and Eight New Interludes are forms of historical burlesque. Music and comedy arrived in the 18th century when opera and classical theatre became the subject of risqué and humorous parodies and the foundations for modern burlesque were laid.

Moving on to the supposedly prudish Victorian age, that time when supposedly piano legs were covered lest they lead a man to ponder a lady’s ankles. At the Olympic and Gaiety theatres in London, the middle classes chortled at the mimicking of operas, Shakespeare and ballet by female burlesque troupes who relied on innuendo and women in men’s clothing (“trouser roles” or “breeches parts”) for the laughs in their routines. Over time the acts, moved to working class music halls and the subject matter reverted to political and social satire laced with suggestiveness. It remained this way in the UK and can still be seen in modern television comedies.

Walerlie: “Oh, did you Riviera such a thing?”

The British Blondes were a group of English girls who bleached their hair and wore flesh coloured stocking when they danced, scandalously the stockings gave them the impression of nudity. This costume sold tickets by the thousands. In 1868, the girls took their show on the road and went to the Big Apple. Lydia Thompson, the creator and main Blonde, so excited a Russian dragoon that he took her glove, draped it across his heart and shot himself. The six week stint the Blondes had been booked for turned into the better part of a year in New York City. Over the next 20 years or so, the Blondes did spoof of Aladdin, Robin Hood and Robinson Caruso.

It was the US, by the 1930s, that burlesque was connected to the striptease with a prop or signature, such as feather or bubbles. Burlesque became stripping while its dance aspect became showgirls and its comedy became vaudeville. Striptease, which has its roots in the Moulin Rouge of 1890s Paris, entered into burlesque in the 20th century. With changes in society, burlesque faded away until its recent, but still limited revival – never to return to its origins.

Going to a strip club is one of the most exciting things to do when you are bored. This will not be a waste of time, but some of the best entertainment you can get. The clubs of course will vary from one to the other. Their strippers will vary and so will their services. Not only do they offer the best services they have, they also have some exotic strippers in the clubs.

May watch the approaching face off in boxing of Donaire vs Moreno Fight this May 28, 2011. Its another boxing event that must be witness and should not be excel. Enjoy everyone.

Most clubs will be designed in such a way that there will be enough privacy for the guests to be in. They also provide a good way for the strippers to be comfortable when they entertain their guests. Some clubs may have topless strippers and some may have nude strippers. Most of the nude strippers have beautiful bodies, and the guests’ just love to look at them and feel satisfied.

The prices for the strip clubs will also vary. It will depend on what kind of dance the customer wants to have with the stripper. They are charged accordingly to the dance they offer. There are also some lovely and cozy rooms, where the dancer and customer can have their own space. They will be able to get as intimate as they want in the room.

The rooms will also vary in taste. For those who can pay more, they will get some luxury rooms. For an evening, the amount of money required to spend for this kind of entertainment is worth it. You will also get to enjoy yourselves completely. To top it all, there will be some exciting music that one can listen to all the time.

The stages for the strippers too will vary from club to club, and there will be a lot of good space to watch plenty of strippers moving erotically. While some clubs allow the guests to drink, others don’t. Drinking and watching a stripper will be so exciting, that no guest will want to leave.

If you do have the time, and want to take some time off, then happy hours will be a good time to visit a strip club.

Though the best strippers will not be there, a guest will get a choice to pick and choose and spend time with a good one. Since the clubs will operate happy hour during the day, this is the time when you can get some peace and quiet and enjoy one. Those who love to be in the middle of some action will enjoy weekends.

This is when all the best strippers are available, and also the crowd is very large. The music also gets rowdy and very enjoyable. The best clubs offer valet parking, and all guests at strip clubs can be at ease. They have nothing to worry about. All they have to do is sit back and relax and enjoy the lovely women in front of them. The guests can even ask the strippers to perform according to what they need, and this will be enjoyable.

A rant on Seperation of Church and State.

I do believe all these religious zealots are running around telling people how to live Im talking about the Adult Industry its been around for along time. I think its came to the point where we keep on censoring stuff more and more everyday I know there should be some protection on the children. But not everyone grows up and works, visit or even goes to a Gentlemen’s club or Adult bookstore. But im sure its in the back of their mind what they are based on movies and TV shows once you get to being a teenager im sure you know more about sex and girls and or guys then most adults do.Shot not ever adult knows about everything about sex. Even schools are trying to put a lid on what kids learn about sex or using the abstinence only teachings which I think most of those kids grow up and have children at a young age. When i was 16 in 10th we learned about sex education and the following school year alot of girls ended up pregnant mostly because of experimenting but I think between 10th and 11th grade most guys and girls do that that summer anyways. I just think more people should be educated about sex more and more than less and less. The less kids know the more they are gonna wanna know about sex. My parents never really had the talk with me all what I learned was at school and doing research on my own and at school for research papers. But im sure I still don’t know everything about sex. But right now in the United States they are trying to pass laws in several states even in the state I live in right now Missouri they passed bills where all nudity at Adult business is not allowed. Which I was upset at first but then im like I bet alot of that tax revenue is going in other states because alot of dancers are driving to Oklahoma,Kansas, and Illinois and I think maybe a few are driving to Arkansas so good job people. The real issue is over secondary effects and the fact it causes divorces and family problems. But i believe most guys don’t go home and anouch they were just at a Strip Club or at a Adult bookstore buying condoms oh no like any wife is going to be mad about that shot you can get Condoms at Walmart. I think we needed loosen regulations all over in the United States and here is why I think that In Florida for example there is laws as far as where people Adults 21 and over can be naked or part naked as long as no kids are around like Fantasy Fest, Adult Business, and certain beaches certain hours of the day and night given there are no kids around. I really liked that Adults have the right to walk around at certain festivals as given there are no kids there and it is 21 and up and beer is involved sounds pretty good to me. Another thing is in Canada I know there laws are different then our’s but they have full nude clubs and alcohol all at one place I believe this is a good thing for one reason less DWI’s and DUI’s if you go to once place to get to see a live naked woman and enjoy a beer then take a cab home less chances of you getting pulled over. But no they have to naked girls and booze in two different places so there is more crime more people getting in there car to go get a lap dance half way across town. Some people might not agree but I do believe it will lower crime rate. And as far as the Secondary Effect of Adult businesses bringing property rates down there is no evidence of that in certain places it actually brings it up or from the research I have done. Like if the club is next to a Casino. Even if there are houses near Adult Businesses im sure there are installation in both the business and the house and most Adult businesses are about 500 feet away from most clubs or along side the highways away from homes. So what is the big deal with them being along side the highway should they be more secluded or closer to highways for people to ask what that business is. I remember when I was little and I had ask my dad what this building was along the highway heading to Rolla it was Big Louie’s and he said its for adults that’s all he said and I never ask what they do in there because i was like 12 or so. So if most people have problems answering those questions for there kids or not they should not have kids because there are alot of times kids are going to ask you about sex, love, marriage, strippers, divorce and all kinds of other ta bu stuff you have to learn how to answer them wither you are Christian or non Christian. But don’t lie to your kid’s because if you do they will im sure go and find the answer themselves.

Some handy tips on booking strippers as entertainment for your boys night party.

Female strippers are traditionally a big part of making any boys night successful, and in Melbourne we are lucky to have some of the best strippers in Australia.

A couple of things to remember:

· All strippers are not created equal. They don’t all do all types of shows available, and many don’t advertise exactly how wild their shows can be.

· Respect. A few Melbourne Strippers are Mums, but all are someone’s daughter, sister etc. Have a good time, enjoy the show, create atmosphere – but don’t think that just because a girl is prepared to get naked in public she is “up for anything”

· Book in Advance – This is so obvious and yet overlooked too often. If you are in Melbourne call and a book a stripper at least the day before. If you are outside of Melbourne then you will need to book at least a week in advance. Don’t do this at your own peril. Last minute bookings are rarely available at the time you want, and your choice of stripper is greatly reduced.

The final word: book in advance, show respect then sit back and enjoy the best Melbourne Strippers around.

LETS PLAY SPOT THE STRIPPER, SPOT THE MODEL

Can you honestly tell which girls the stripper and which one is the model?

Take a guess.

Both are promoting sex, using thier body, for money and publicity. And for money and publicity some not all will have sex or do other things out of character. Just because some not all strippers are a little more open about their sexual exploits doesn’t make the undercover model any better. And let me just say I’m not applying this to all models or all strippers. Their are a lot of models and strippers that have a very good head on their shoulders. The stripper is look at the way she does because she actually takes the clothes all the way off while performing her show. Now I’m not saying that we should refer to strippers as models or vice versa just pointing out some very similar, similarity’s.

What do you think??

Exotic dancers are suing Penthouse Executive Club over employment rights such as paying for thong underwear and earning minimum wage.

Recently a judge gave exotic dancers the go-ahead to sue Penthouse Executive Club regarding their employment rights. Nine strippers and a make-up artist are suing the New York City club to try to improve their working conditions.

It seems the exotic dancers are required to pay the house a fee for each dance segment. The entertainers do not earn minimum wage as indepedent contractors yet the employer takes a portion of their tips. Often the strippers are tipped with tokens. The club charges 20 percent to the dancers to convert the tokens to cash. The dancers, like most strippers, are required to wear a certain thong. They must pay for it and want their employer to cover the cost as a “uniform.”

Regardless of whether people approve of stripping itself, the employment conditions are clearly questionable. Can you imagine a beautician paying for a seat being told what to wear? Further, can you imagine her giving the owner a portion of her tips? Once the chair it paid for, the beautician goes about her business of earning a living.

These dancers want fair treatment, which is important to every worker in America. If they get mistreated, who will be next? Independent contractors are watching closely to see the decision in this important case.

This is a back and forth dialog between a man and woman, discussing their different views on strip clubs, why men go to them, and if it is ok for men to go to them while in a committed relationship.

What's your take?

Paul: Most women are against strip clubs because they don’t understand the psychology behind them. Strip clubs, to most men, are like psychotherapy. Women think men go to a strip club to see naked beautiful women and that’s partially true. Problem is for the most part: 1) you cannot see said “beautiful” women cuz its dark 2) They probably aren’t beautiful, that’s why it’s dark. It’s quite ironic.

Men go to strip clubs because when you’re in a relationship, getting a lap dance is gives you a boost of confidence; rarely will a stripper say you smell like shit, when in fact you may smell like shit. Men go to strip clubs to escape the monotony of most relationships, which hurt their egos, through the constant nagging and criticism.

Steph: Let me just start by saying that women KNOW men go to strip clubs to see naked women, but a beautiful women is not what I envision when I think of a stripper. Quite the contrary, for the most part what I picture is some drugged out girl who needs some sleep, and a hug. And I fail to see how PAYING for some random naked women to gyrate on your lap can possibly give you a boost of confidence! I mean YOU’RE PAYING!! THEY’RE WORKING! These women don’t like you, you’re nothing but their bread and butter…or a supporter of their coke habit, whatever the case may be. Furthermore, if your ego is being damaged by your girlfriend (or wife), and if you are THAT bored by the “monotony” of your relationship, then maybe, just maybe, you are not with the right person. Oh, and p.s, if that paid lap dance is such an ego boost than I guess a prostitute must be the boost of a lifetime!

Paul: Firstly, the reason lap dances help your ego is because of the aforementioned psychology. Strippers will say whatever as long as you’re paying. So regardless of how much of a scrub you are, they will always tell you how handsome you are, how nice you’re dressed, etc. The sexuality of the lap dance is only a portion of the service, really men get laps dances for the nice things they be saying to us, haha. I’m glad that we are their “bread and butter”, nothing’s worse then going to a strip club with a guy who catches feelings.

It’s a business transaction, nothing more, nothing less. Plus, you can’t assume ALL strippers have drug habits, although I’m sure a lot do, it would be an unfair generalization. I think that most men cannot help getting a little bored, and nothing is wrong with going to strip clubs on occasions – stags, birthdays, etc. Oh and prostitution is illegal, so umm there!

Steph: Ok, I guess I can understand why MAYBE a stripper could stroke a man’s..ego. Be that as it may, I believe it’s totally inappropriate for a man who is in a relationship to be 1) going to strip clubs, and especially 2) getting lap dances. Lap dances are basically a free pass to cheat! In what other setting could a completely naked woman rub up on another woman’s boyfriend or husband and have it be ok? It’s cheating pure and simple. Having said that, I must point out that each relationship is different, so what is unacceptable to me may be just fine to another woman.
