Unique ways of expressing love to your partner.

There are many ways in which we can express our love for those dearest to us but few people come up with unique and interesting ideas to do so. Below I have listed some of the most popular and creative ways to show your loved one how much you really care, in the most original way possible.

Love Letter

Cuddle

Always Listen

Spend Time Together

Cook For Them

Write Them A Poem/Song

Dedicate A Song To Them

Take A Bath Together

Go See A Movie Together

Whisper I Love You Into Their Ear

Give Them A Backward Hug

Sing To Them (Even If You Can’t)

Take A Shower Together

Do All Of The Housework

Stroll Along The Beach Together

Go Horse Riding Together

Candlelit Dinner

Watch Sunsets & Sunrises Together

Chocolates

Teddy Bears

Roses

Mushy Greeting Cards

Use Pet Names

Propose!

Perhaps the latter on that list isn’t essential, especially if you are not that far into your relationship yet to be making such decisions. Either way, the above ideas are a must if you’re looking to spice things up and make your loved one fall for you over and over and over again. Choose the ways that work for you and don’t do something you just couldn’t handle, they will know how serious or you are. Best of luck in life and happy romancing!

I am pertaining to my son's Push Around Car which we bought from E-Learning weeks ago.

My son is a year and 10 months old. It’s only but a few months to go and he is already on his troublesome two stage. He is very active and a very hyper kid so that makes him really a handful. When we arrived here in Doha, it has been our routine to stay in the house the whole day, wait for dad to get off from work and it is only then when we could take our little boy for a little stroll in the park or just roam around the mall. Weekends are more special though because we have plenty of time to be with Dad.

You would always hear my son utter the words “bas” and “lis” (contracted form of “labas” and “alis” which both mean “go out”). He cannot pronounce yet the whole word but he is able to say the last syllable of the words and make gestures such as pointing to the door or bringing you his shoes to make you understand that he wants to go out. He likes it outdoors and he likes it when he is riding cars which he sometimes pertains to “vroom-vroom”.

Even when he was still a baby, my first born really didn’t enjoy riding on a stroller that much. He finds it a bit boring and would rather push it around than ride on it. Using a stroller to keep him in place and to avoid carrying him when he got tired of walking is a very bad idea. During his first month here in Doha, he enjoyed walking by himself as he go around places. Now, we’ve noticed that he is making use of the word “arga” (contracted form of “karga” which means “carry”). Both my husband and I are having a hard time carrying him for a long period because he gained weight already. It was too much for our backs to carry. We tried 2x to rent a push car while malling because my son wanted to ride the “vroom-vroom” so he’d say “arga” (clever child). So we opted to rent one. It was quite pricey though, QR20 per hour. You don’t really go to the mall and spend just an hour there so basically, the more hours you stay there, the bigger your rent would balloon. On the average we frequent the mall at least 3x a week so imagine how much would go for the rent alone of the push car.

the QR20 per hour push car

My husband, to avoid back pains and pocket pains, came up with the brilliant idea of looking for a push car which could fit in the trunk and which we could bring around. We looked in most baby and toy shops here but can’t find any. It is good riddance; we passed by one of E-learning’s store where we did find a push car.

E-learning’s Step 2 Push Around Buggy

Now, there will be less back pains for us and more savings. The Push Car costs QR300 which is equivalent to only 15 hours of rental! The QR300 invested on the push car is worth it for it could be of use to my kid anywhere we go and anytime he whims, be it in the mall or in the park (well it’s a little bit hard to push when you are on the grass, but it gets its job done). I’ve got 2 sons by the way. Even if I go back home together with my first born, still it won’t be a waste. Our youngest will then make use of the car when he visits here, perhaps by next year (if plans push thru). And if in case they outgrow the Push Car (and if it is still in good condition) perhaps we could still sell it even in just a very low price.

While accompanying my girlfriend in her shopping, I enjoy watching other people to see if they are lurking shoppers. A lurking shopper is one who only stroll around without the intention of buying. Here are three key determinants in spotting a lurking shopper.

Not in a hurry

When you see a shopper walking in slow motion, this shows he’s not into buying anything. He is just letting time to pass and he fears he would have covered the whole building if he would walk at normal pace.

Doing something with the phone

Non-buyers would most likely stop at a nook and do something with their mobile phones. And more often than not, they are not really calling or sending messages. They are just checking for new messages, browsing through old photos or playing a game. Again, just to waste time.

Looking at people

A clear determinant of a lurking shopper is they are not checking out the products. You would most likely spot them looking at people more times longer than looking at a product. They are not interested in the products. They find it more worthwhile to find cool girls or classy guys.

These characteristics are more obvious on novice shoppers. More experienced buyers knows how to look interested even if they not bying and are just waiting time. Are you a novice or an experienced shopper?

Now you know how a lurking buyer is eyed. If I would find you doing these acts, it would clearly mean you are a novice shopper.

Do you know other characteristics of a lurking shopper?

A walk on a Tel Aviv beach turns out to be more than expected as we run into a member of the endangered Green Sea Turtle family.

It was a picturesque night, walking along the main promenade in Tel Aviv. The Mediterranean Sea beneath the full September moon glistened. I was with my friend Joey here at about midnight, because neither of us could sleep, and we both needed a breather from a seemingly never-ending to-do-list.

Joey suggested a move from the cement to the sand, for a little variation, on the return leg of our stroll. While walking past many posh on-the-beach bars with beautiful colored lights and hip lounge music, I noticed something on the water line. I originally thought it was a trash bag or some other junk (even though Tel Aviv beaches are generally clean). Joey assumed that it could be a fallen satellite or who knows what.

A few steps closer, and we saw it was a sea turtle! This is an exciting moment, because Green Sea Turtles are a very rare sight in Israel, especially in such a populated area. There are only a few thousand in the Mediterranean Sea, and their main breeding grounds for the region are in Croatia, not here. They are an endangered species throughout the world, and even more sparse in the Mediterranean area.

Unfortunately, this exciting visit by our lovely friend was for a not so lovely reason. Further evaluation brought to our attention that she was missing an entire front flipper, and part of the remaining bone was still sticking out. There was fishing line wrapped all around it, and the line also went to her mouth, which led us to believe she might have a hook stuck.

Immediately, we called the 106 service number for the Israel Nature & National Parks Protection Authority. A dispatcher took the basic information, my phone number, and within minutes a man named Yaniv called me back. Once he found out all he needed to know about our Green Sea Turtle, he rushed to her rescue, commanding us to stay and hang out with her until he arrived.

Joseph LeMaire, Yonah, and an onlooker
Photo Credit: Yaniv Levy, Israel Nature and Parks Authority

During that hour, we were trying every way possible to not allow her to go back into the water. If she did, she would surely die, if she ever made it fully out. She constantly tried to turn herself around towards the sea, as minimal amounts of water lapped against her barnacle covered shell. We found a muscular Israeli guy to pick her up out of the water and bring her to the dry area of the sand.

We talked to her, people walking by stopped to visit and inquire about this odd scene on the nighttime beach, and we even gave her a name.

Joseph LeMaire and Yonah
Photo Credit: Yaniv Levy, Israel Nature and Parks Authority

Introducing, Yonah, the Green Sea Turtle. She is an Eighties baby, about 25 years old now. We decided on the name Yonah (English translation: Jonah), being that we were only a few minutes walk/swim from the Old Jaffa Port area, where the original Jonah, from the Bible, began his seaborne journey, and in the end, was saved.

Finally, Yaniv arrived to carry Yonah off to what will be her new home until she is taken care of and fully rehabilitated. Before bringing her to the truck, Yaniv took some awesome photos of Yonah.

Yonah, trying to escape the city
Photo Credit: Yaniv Levy, Israel Nature and Parks Authority

Another random Israeli, named Boaz, assisted Yaniv and Joey in transporting her to the truck. She’s a quite strong young lady, with a strong spirit to match. She exhibited this to us openly, which we’re happy to see, because we know she will not only survive, but also succeed, when she is released into her natural habitat.
