Another look at the reality of dreaming.

The nature of reality has been widely explored since the beginning of humanity’s evolution. A bit of data here and there that will, in time, reveal more and more of the ever expanding picture that is our future. There are literally countless forms of reality that can be used in the acquisition of knowledge on certain truths. So when we look at how dreams behave, many of them might actually be the result of alternate localization.

Whether intentional or not, dreams exhibit a state that only seems involuntary when the conscious mind is made aware. Other than that, you could be totally immersed in an environment as if you somehow expected it to happen. Lucid Dreams are said to be consciously manipulated by the observer. So what are dreams that are manipulated, or even orchestrated, by the subconscious?

It would seem impractical that the physical body itself, would spontaneously transport to an alternate form of reality, or even transform into an entirely different form to adapt to surroundings. The body might not be what transports, but the mind. Like a virtual simulation or continuation of experience for the mind while the body recharges and heals, like a ships captain dismounting after docking. People spend nearly half of their lives asleep. All that extra time could be used to implement certain beneficial teachings into subconscious memory to later be used during crucial periods in life.

Explaining the science of the Subconscious mind and how to use it.

Where do your greatest fears, hopes, dreams lie? Could they possibly be stored somewhere, sealed in some mystical container? If so, how can we gain access or find a key to unlock it. It’s not as complex as you might think, it just takes dedication and discipline. Meditation is one way that helps many people to calm the mental chatter in their head.

In harry potter, one of the professors teaches the students about a “boggart. ”A boggart is a shape shifter that becomes the deepest fear that the victim thinks the most. Now, this becomes quite interesting when it comes to our mind, because we do that all of the time without the use of a wand. Why? The mind is symbolic of that magic wand and projects whatever image you hold in your head to this physical reality. Which genius created this image of a man with goats legs, horns and a tail with a pitchfork. You see…all that was man made, but we’ve believed without questioning for so long therefore the devil becomes this image.

This becomes the same with anything you think of, you give it properties, characteristics. Then you give it a name and it becomes known to yourself. If you share it with others, this projection becomes broadcasted for everyone to make interpretations. Your subconscious mind records even the smallest details of every experience you have. For instance, when you picture a rainbow, it would most likely bring joy to most people, but if for some instance you saw it shooting lasers at you, it wouldn’t be that fond experience.

Your subconscious mind connects to you through symbols and imagery. Whether positive or negatively, you decide what each image means to you. About 9 times out of 10 when a someone makes judgement about another, that person saw something about themselves that they either liked or didn’t like.

The Apple in the Adam of Eve story is talking about your conscience, It’s the angel and devil that appear on your shoulder that guide you,to make your decisions. Mastering your subconscious mind demands daily work! Because it is like a sponge, soaking up everything until it forms a “thing.” We need to decide what we want to add or delete so that we can keep it clean and balanced.

A summary of Freud's theory of personality, and why it's RIDICULOUS (Although a lot of it is a bit self-explanatory!)

A lot of people have some knowledge about Freud. They know about the Anal, Oral and Genital stages of development, and that basically everything is about sex! I’m here to clarify what you know, and maybe expand on it.

I’ll begin by saying that Freud was around in the late 1800s. He was the first person to try a ‘talking cure’ when it came to mental illness, so he is extremely influential and has contributed some very useful ideas to the field of psychology and psychotherapy. He treated female patients with hysteria, an illness which caused a loss of bodily function, for instance limb paralysis. They all claimed they had been molested by male family members, and when they talked through the ordeal, they were cured of their illness. Freud claimed that these women were not molested, they wanted to be, but knew it was bad, and had repressed the desire.

Before you go mental at Freud, you must realise; this is the 1800s! It’s only in the last 20 years that people have accepted that child abuse is a lot higher than was first thought. Over 100 years ago, the idea of it was unthinkable and it was thought to be extremely rare.

This idea of repression is what Freud’s theory is most famous for. He claims that our mind has three levels: the conscious, the pre-conscious, which is accessed via dreams and therapy such as free-association, and the unconscious. It is our unconscious desires which we repress in order to function normally.

Id, Ego and Superego

Our psyche, according to Freud, is split into three. The first construct is the Id. This is where all of our instinctual desires come from. The Id, you might say, is the devil on our shoulder pushing us to do whatever we want to do. This is where our repressed desires come from. The second construct, the Superego, is what you might refer to as the parent, moderating our behaviour to accord with what society expects. It is our conscience, our ability to know that what we want is not always right.

These two constructs are controlled, to some extent anyway, by the Ego. The ego is the sense of self. It translates what the Id wants into some kind of acceptable behaviour. For an example, Freud might claim that playing a musical instrument is the Ego’s way of controlling the Id’s urge to masturbate!

Psychosexual Stages of Development

The ideas of the id, ego, and the superego slot into Freud’s much more controversial theory that we all go through psychosexual stages of development. He proposed that three aspects of childhood affect whether we become ‘fixated’ at a particular stage; the Oral stage, the Anal stage, or the Genital stage. These aspects are breast feeding, toilet training and genitals.

The Oral Stage

If a child is excessively gratified (in other words, allowed to go on breast-feeding for a long time) they will become fixated in this stage. They will also become fixated if they are frustrated (in other words, not allowed to breast-feed for as long as they want). Freud claims that these fixations cause a person to revert to the behaviour patterns associated with the childhood phase, in subtle and indirect ways. A gratified person will show this through being very optimistic, desiring a regular income, being generous and cheerful, and liking soft foods. They have the attitude that ‘good things last forever’. Conversly, frustrated people become pessimistic, hostile, cruel and clingy. They have the attitude that ‘good things never last’.

The Anal Stage

Freud claims that here, a child gets sexual satisfaction from retaining a full bowel, or from excreting. I think you can all see straight away that this is INSANE! He claims children as young as 18 months have a definite sexuality and are aware of it!

The anal character manifests in adulthood via behaviours such as hoarding, attention to detail, persistence, and an urge to clean things. The hoarding comes from the desire to hoard excrement, and so on.

The Genital Stage

This is where things start to get really freaky. If you didn’t think it was already bad, just wait! Freud claims that 5 year old children want to have sex with their opposite-gender parent, and see their same-sex parent as a rival for the opposite-sex parent’s attention. This relates back to his hysteria patients mentioned above. Women have an elektra complex, and men have an oedipus complex. Young boys know that their desire is wrong and they fear castration; they view girls as being boys who were castrated! Instead they attempt to appease the father by relating to him. Conversly, the girls do not fear castration, but go through experiences of mourning the loss of their penis and feeling inferior to males – Freud coined the term ‘Penis Envy’ to explain the phenomenon.

If you’re thinking that this is absolute bull, Freud would have a response for you! You only think that because you have repressed your memories from 5 years old and younger, along with your oedipus/elektra complex!

He’s really thought of everything!

What’s great for Freud is that his theory encompasses all human behaviour. He has an explanation for everything. If somebody buys cheap presents, likes to hold on to items and money and are rude, they have an anal personality. If they are really nice and generous, they have simply repressed their anal personality and are overcompensating!

This is great for Freud as he can explain everything, but it also lacks scientific proof. He only studied cases of single patients, and there is a massive overemphasis on the sexual drive.

My theory is that Freud had these desires, and felt the need to make them okay by creating this whole theory of personality!

The Law of Attraction advocates the theory that, everything that happens in our life is caused by our own will. So, what if I hate some one or if some one hates me. Is it possible that I attracted hatred of others towards myself?

Thoughts Become Things. This is one of the most popular themes in the theory of Law of Attraction. The theory of Law of Attraction says that, anything and everything that happens to us is a result of our own will. What it means literally is that, whatever we have, or experience is the direct result of our own wish and actions. Many people will relate to this theory. If someone wants to get a good thing or experience in life, they first wish for it and then take actions towards achieving it.

Is it possible to attract Hatred? Can we attract hatred towards ourselves?

This is a question that sometimes appears to be shaking the very foundations of the Law of Attraction. If want a good thing in life, I will willingly try to achieve it. But I am sure no one likes to be hated. So, how can someone attract hatred towards themselves. Why will someone think about being hated and attract hatred. This is the thing that forces many people to thing twice before believing what the law of attraction theorises.

No One thinks willingly to be hated by someone

Yes, no one even in their dreams will think about being hated by some one, even a stranger. And being hated by someone whom we once loved and the love was reciprocal, is by far a thing no one will ever even dream of. But yes, it happens. We sometimes find ourselves in a situation where even our loved ones start to hate us. So, does this mean that we brought the hatred of those people upon us ourselves?

The wish for hatred can be subconscious

This is another theory propagated by the advocates of the Law of Attraction. They say that, we can attract even things about which we even think in our subconscious mind. Even if we think in our subconscious mind thoughts like: -

- what will happen if that guy I love, starts hating me.

- I am sure he or she will hate me for doing this.

- I am sure he or she hates me.

There can be many other type of thoughts that can come in our subconscious mind. We do not make any effort to bring those thoughts in our mind, but they come, and they repeat like an audio tape. And that in turn turns out to be a wish that has come from our mind. And the universe says, Your Wish is My Command, Sir.

So, even subconscous thoughts can become our unwanted wish and be fulfilled and result into things that we did not want at all. And Hatred is a thing that can be attracted too. just take the example of the whole community (religion) that has brought upon itself the hatred of the whole world. Yes, terrorism has resulted in the hatred, but, they attracted it themselves. It can not be more true than this.

There is a gold mine within you. You can withdraw anything and everything from that to live your life.

Ooops! If you were searching for Get Rich programs from Internet, sorry to say, you have come here mistakenly. However, if you are a person who knows that you have ‘a right’ to be rich in this world and who likes to attract overflowing wealth, please read on.

I got a fantastic book to my hand some time back. It was first written in 1963. After 48 years, at the time of this writing this article, millions of copies of this book is being sold. Categorised as a self help book, it reveals a wonderful theory about your own sub conscious mind in simple English. The book is not meant to read and keep aside. There is no use of doing that either. It is a life coach towards the success. The book is “Power of Your Subconscious Mind” By Professor Joseph Murphy.

This article is not written to review the book but to elaborate one point put forward in the book. That is attracting wealth. However, it is my duty to tell you something about the author of this book. Joseph Murphy.Ph.D., D.D., was a world famous authority on mind power theory and an author of number of bestselling books on that subject. He provided practical techniques that anyone could use. Millions of people in the whole world gained physical, social, financial and spiritual self-improvement through his lectures and his books.

Come back to the topic, yes, you have a sure way of attracting wealth. The most important part is that it does not cost anything. All what you have to do is to understand how does subconscious mind act and how much of miracle power stored in it.

The basic principle is, if you plant a thought in the inner mind and provides all what is needed for it to grow, you get the results. What does that mean? If you want wealth, first tell your inner mind firmly, I repeat, firmly, that you want to be rich. ‘Just telling’ is like throwing a seed on the earth and waiting it to get planted. It may not happen. Even if happens the outcome will be a sick tree. You have to provide water and nourishments if you need a healthy plant to come out from that seed. It will grow beautifully spreading its branches. Likewise, you have to nourish your thought that you plant in your inner mind. You can do it many ways.

One is to picture the end result in advance. Draw a picture in your mind that you have become rich. In that picture, you have a beautiful house, nice car and enough money to lead a luxury life. Keep on looking at this picture as many times as you can, morning evening and anytime.

Another method is to act (in your mind) as if you have become rich. Accept wealth in your mind. Whatever you accept in your mind gets the attraction of it. You must say to yourself that you have a right to be rich and happy. Say to yourself that money is flowing freely without stopping.

One more useful method is to pray for wealth. Prior to sleep and just before getting out of your bed, pray to your almighty subconscious mind to make you a wealthy person. The nature of subconscious mind is to listen to your continuous prayers.

As Prof. Murphy called it as Law of Attraction, you attract things you accept in your mind. The opposite also is the same. You expel things you dislike and criticize. So if you criticise someone else who has become rich you indirectly saying to your inner mind that you do not want money. Never ever criticise people who have become rich. Best thing for you is not to think and analyse as to how he made money.

You must always impress in the subconscious mind that you like money, you love it and you use it wisely constructively and as a loyal citizen. Have a dream that you will use your money for good only.

You have to consciously project thoughts of love towards money and wealth to your subconscious. Your subconscious will do it’s best to give you the perfect experience that fulfils your deepest desire.

The subconscious mind gives you information about your mental health, the people around you and around the world. Just get used to the unconscious logic and learn the meaning of the most important symbols of a dream to see the wise guidance of your doctor natural.

Treatment of anxiety through therapy based on the analysis of dreams about their problems and psychological reactions. It is also based on a synthetic study of the biography of his life, the problems you encounter in their daily lives and behavior.

The subconscious mind, making your dream of your natural doctor. You should pay attention to the importance of your dreams and write them on paper dreams.

When you learn to translate the meaning of dreams is the only correct method (which was discovered by Carl Jung and refined to me, he continued his research), you will find that the personal unconscious is a psychiatrist and a psychologist.

The subconscious mind gives you information about your mental health, the people around you and around the world. Just get used to the unconscious logic and learn the meaning of the most important symbols of a dream to see the wise guidance of your doctor natural.

You will no longer suffer from anxiety, because you’ll learn how to manage conflict and difficult situations without losing consciousness. Do you build your confidence and stop being afraid of failure.

When you learn the language of dreams, the study of his work, psychotherapy is a free and unconditional divine being, the unconscious, making your dreams to help you grow.
If you do not have the time or the conditions of learning the language of a dream, You’ll find good mental health and happiness in a short time, especially if it is a good patient, referred to the direction of its natural doctor.

Unaware of treatment based on wisdom and holiness. This means that the unconscious guidance based on real knowledge and real.

When you realize the value of the collateral, to feel the support. This will help to believe in salvation. Thus will the conditions for the development of optimism and positive thinking.

Are you ever afraid and worried because you never know what will happen tomorrow. Do not think you’ll be able to survive and solve your problems. Are you stuck in a labyrinth of doubts, fears and past traumas, and many obligations. Are you under pressure, and many threats. He believes he can grow in difficult situations. This is a recurring kills slowly suffocating circle.

Subconscious mind will tell you, in your dreams, you have to do to make your identity and stop the suffering. Does the future and understand how to win. You will also learn to change their lives and stop dangerous situations.

You just have to believe that the time “more or more money, but nothing in life depends on physical conditions. If a person is balanced and self-confident that I can always be sure, even in stressful situations. However, if you do not have inner peace, you will not find a good mental health, even if you live in the palace.

The biggest mistake, of course, the attempt to live as you do, and think you can find peace, regardless of their living conditions. The second error of their lack of faith. Do not think you can change your life and stop always be sought, as it is.

If a therapy dream, your mind will open and you will discover the many options that do not take into account. You will begin to find solutions to problems that seemed impossible to ever be solved.

Subliminal messages are aimed "under the radar" to help you make changes in certain areas of your life. But just how effective are they?

Subliminal messages are messages intended to bypass the conscious mind and strike directly at the subconscious.

The rationale behind this is simple: the conscious mind is always trying to apply logic and reason to everything it encounters. It needs to know why and how a stimulus will help it before it will accept the potential. Seeing is believing for the conscious mind, which questions everything and takes nothing on faith.

The subconscious mind is different. It exists below the level of perception in the part of the brain responsible for creativity, dreams, ideas and inspiration. Unlike its cousin, it takes everything we feed it on faith and questions nothing, which is why therapies such as hypnosis have proven so useful in helping people kick habits and change unwanted behaviours.

But what about subliminal messages flashed across your computer screen? Or played on a CD while you fall asleep at night? Can they really influence how you feel, how you perform, and how you behave?

Subconscious (Photo credit: kevin dooley)

On the face of it, there seem to be two schools of thought. For years people have claimed to be able to learn and remember facts and information simply by listening to tapes and CDs. There is proof that subliminal stimulation can boost academic performance, and it also appears to be an effective technique for learning the basics of a new language. Support for the ability of subliminal technology to increase intelligence is growing.

When it comes to behaviour modification, though, things are not so clear-cut. While hypnotic suggestion has been shown time and time again to be an effective means for breaking habits and altering behaviour, the same cannot be said of subliminal messaging. There is evidence that the latter can be useful for lifting one’s mood and producing a natural high, but its potential for long-term change is still being explored.

It would be nice to be able to program your computer with subliminal messages that would help you stop biting your nails, or quit smoking, or stick to your diet. With technology developing as quickly as it is, there’s no doubt that you’ll soon be able to achieve many of these things without leaving your seat.

And wouldn’t that be sublime?

A few thoughts on dreams.

Dreaming is a profoundly mysterious activity that all humans do several times whenever we sleep. Many hypothesises exist pertaining to the nature and purpose of dreaming, but even today their is no definitive.

Dreams are the purest form of art. Dreaming is an expression of our subconscious mind free from social constraint or censor. These elaborate and often surreal nocturnal constructs of our mind, which can seem as real as any event in conscious reality, are generated solely for an audience of one, seeking neither acclaim or monetary reward. Therefore, the most legitimate artistic pursuit a human can take part in is dreaming.

Just something to think about tonight as you doze off.
