There are people who visualize great ideas, they even take on the path of trying to achieve these great dreams, but along the way, when they encounter the very first obstacle, they give up and eventually die with their dreams.

In life, perseverance is golden. Single mindedness, resolve, determination, self belief and the lingering spirit of never giving up are the forces that have made many successful men in this world. It is basically self belief that distinguishes people who do great things with their lives from those who die with their dreams.

People who are armed with the spirit of perseverance listen to what others say, but never let the negative things they say rule their lives. They stick to their dreams and work on seeing it succeed according to their original plans. Even if they hit a snag, they don’t just give up, they persist and keep trying over and over again.

If you attempted to research into the early beginnings of millionaires who rule our economic world today, you will find a common trait in nearly all of them and that is, they never gave up, they persevered even when the going got tough and continued to persevere even when others told them point blank that they were wasting their time and money.

In this life, you could go on an unstoppable ride to success if only you don’t stop yourself, because for every great dream that you visualize, it is only you who can stop yourself by destroying the spirit of perseverance. Are you into some big dream right now? Please don’t give up!

    This is the most impactful chapter in regards of finding and living with more joy in your life, looking at how very special you are, seeing your uniqueness and how essential your role is in the world, and understanding how you are irreplaceable, your perspective is priceless. What you have to offer to the world is highly valued by others, and no one but you can offer whatever it is that comes directly from you and your unique perspective, discovering what it is that only you can offer is what we will explore in living out your passion. It is an exploration of what it is that you truly have a passion for doing, what it is that you do for the pure pleasure of doing, and what you can see yourself doing and actually making a very good living at while doing it.

    Do you know anyone who is actually living out their dreams? Perhaps they seem to be having everything going their way, effortlessly, naturally, whatever they touch turns to gold, a perfect spouse, a perfect house, and far more money than you currently have in your life. If you could look at them closely you would see that they are living out their passion, they have discovered something of value that they can offer the world, and the easy flow of their success shows that they have found their downstream flow to success, they don’t have to struggle upstream to make their success happen. This is not to say that they don’t have to work for what they have, it is saying that whatever work they are doing is something that they have a passion for doing, work and play are one.

In my case, without splurging in to detail. I was an excellent student with promise that graduated highschool in 2010 and quickly jumped into college wondering by the second year if my degree was going to be worth it as things seemed to appear worse. I struggled on ramen noodle diets, working part time to afford books and school supplies, and trying to study. Although I love education with all my heart I quickly realized that if I developed stress my academics would fail to represent what I know what I am truely capable of. Even after utilizing all my resources with proffesors and councelors that saw potential me, my stress quickly mounted on itself and I realized with all the expenses and living on a tight budget I needed to take a break and try again later. It was during that time that my mind pondered about the benefits of having an online buisness.

Actually, I contemplated on online marketing since junior year of highschool. So I’ve been researching and experimenting for roughly about 4 years now. I learned alot. Have you ever taken a course where after just the first class you knew the entire year would follow the same boring routine? Chances are, that even after a short amount of time, students can make a reasonably accurate assessment on the effectiveness of a professor. This idea of making an accurate assessment after a short period of observation is supported by the research of psychologist Nalini Ambady. Her study found that the assessment college students gave a professor’s effectiveness after watching a two second clip of their teaching was the same as the assessment of students who took the professor’s class for a full semester.

Traditionally, we are taught not to make what seem like impulsive decisions and to gather as much information as possible before reaching a conclusion. However, advice like “stop and think” might not yield any better of a decision than our instinctive inclinations. Gladwell describes the concept of “thin-slicing” which is “the ability of our unconscious to find patterns in situations and behavior based on very narrow slices of experience.” He analyzes this concept through the evolutionary perspective, arguing that over time, humans have learned to make better snap decisions that would facilitate their survival. A modern example of this is a basketball player’s “court sense,” his ability to assess the current game situation, predict future actions of the play, and respond accordingly.

Overall, Blink offers a unique perspective on the psychology behind quick decision making. Most of the process is already pre-wired into our unconscious, which might help explain why we can make up our minds so effectively under pressure.

                Success is something everybody strives to achieve. It is something that is not always easy to accomplish and must be worked towards. An example of success is the “Theseus” myth in Heroes, Gods and Monsters of the Greek Myths, by Bernard Evslin. For Theseus, success comes from his fighting technique and determination.

                Theseus’ fighting technique is the main reason he is able to succeed in battle. A great white gull Poseidon sends to Theseus teaches him this skill: “ ‘do not fear your enemy’s size, but use it against him. Then his strength will become yours’ ”(147). An example of Theseus using this to take down his enemies is his encounter with Scrion. Scrion tries to make people passing by wash his feet, then kicks them off the ledge they are standing on and into the water behind them where he has a flesh-eating turtle waiting to rip the victim to shreds. When Scrion goes to kick Theseus, Theseus pulls his leg forward, sending Scrion into the water instead. Another example of Theseus using his fighting technique against his enemies includes his encounter with Procrustes. Procrustes makes people lie down on a bed that is exactly six feet long in his hotel. If they are too tall, he cuts of their legs, and if they are too short, he chains them to the bed and stretches them. When Theseus’ does not cooperate, Procrustes tries to push Theseus onto the bed. Theseus grabs Procrustes’ wrist and pulls downward, chains him to the bed, and cuts off his legs, then his head, killing him. A third example of Theseus using his fighting technique is his battle with the Minotaur. Once the Minotaur charges at him, Theseus jumps onto its head. When the Minotaur goes to punch Theseus, Theseus jumps off and the Minotaur stuns himself with his mighty blow. This helps Theseus eventually defeat the Minotaur. Theseus is not a strong fighter until he develops this fighting technique, a key reason to his success.

                However, Theseus’ fighting technique is not the only reason to his success. His determination is another major element in his ability to succeed. For example, when he talks with Minos, he clearly displays this fortitude. When Minos offers him to marry his daughter, so Theseus can become his heir, Theseus rejects the offer because he is determined to defeat the Minotaur and return to Athens a hero. Another example of Theseus’ determination includes when he listens to Poseidon’s messenger, the great white gull, who tells Theseus: “ ‘Do not go by sea. Take the dangerous overland route, and your adventures will begin’ ”(148). Theseus could have taken the safe sea route, but because Theseus is determined to succeed, he trusts his father and does not even think twice about it. A third example of his determination is when Minos tests him to see if he actually is the son of Poseidon. Minos throws his crown deep in the sea and tells Theseus to retrieve it. Theseus determinedly dives into the water and trusts that his father will help him breathe underwater. Poseidon answers his call and Theseus recovers the crown. Without Theseus’ determination, he would not succeed in his goals and battles.

                Theseus’ fighting technique and determination are the reasons to his success. He defeats his enemies by using their own strength against them, and his determination gives him the drive to keep on going and succeed. Theseus is a heroic warrior who takes on many tasks and can easily succeed.

The current generation or the age of machines is veraciously called so, although they have a heart that beats only on the vibration of success and it thumps on the sound of failure and still they say that they have a very large heart while proposing a girl…!!

I have just one simple question that is the heart a normal human heart or is it some kind of storage device with just storing memory with nil feelings…???

Then something changed in the US.  Sociologist will claim that a large number of women entering the work force during the war led to economic freedom for women.  Many believe that this freedom led to the change in traditional American values.

This may be true.  However, what is the value to American society to destroy everything that is good and decent in America?

I believe that many do not understand how destructive their bad attitude is to society.  I hear bad attitude everywhere.  When these Mexican visitors get to my work area, they start cursing the bleepity bleep Americans for keeping them waiting over three hours.

They are not the only ones.  The liberal democrat’s opinion that Republicans are just for the rich is bad attitude.  So are other democrat attacks on conservatives.

I want Obama to show proof that because Mitt Romney is financially successful Mr. Romney would be a bad administrator.  I would say that business success would qualify Mr. Romney for the position of Chief Administrator of the United States.  

Now, some would say that Republican criticism of Obama is nothing more than bad attitude.  Well, we have all seen Mr. Obama’s administrative style in the last three years and a half.

One department was so blatantly corrupt that they videotaped their corruption as they mocked the American tax payers.  Congress wants to hold Eric Holder, Obama’s attorney general, in contempt of congress.           A person in the US department of energy wanted to crucify private businesses with regulation in order to put them out of business.  We know Obama forced the military to cut its budget by 50%. 

What part of the Obama presidency looks like good administration? I am going to say none.  Therefore, criticism of Obama is just pointing out the facts.

However, we the people have lost our moral center. Too many prefer to laugh, ridicule, and malign. I believe this is what has come out of the economic freedom for women.  There is discord in the American family. Children develop and express a bad attitude and they are not corrected by any parent.

Now, I am not saying that economic freedom for women is responsible for societal moral decay.  The failure to adapt to new opportunities by continuing to teach good values to children is the vehicle that has brought us all here.

Here, is a society with too many people with the occupy Wall Street mentality.  Explain to me how you build with destruction. Having an opinion and being able to express it is a gift of freedom. Destroying private property is a poor way to prove a point.

The reality is that one person’s success does not contribute to another person’s failure. Luck, circumstances, and personal skills contribute to a person’s failure or success.

Today, I have to say that Americans are failing.  In all this presidential political wrangling, I have come to certain conclusions.  One is that the people who criticize, ridicule, and malign create the very culture they are opposed to in life.  The second is that all the people who find excuses to get involved are a big part of the problem.

I will write this sentence again.  Politicians are politicians and citizens let them get away with their decadence, immorality, and perversions. 

Every single one of us knows what is right and wrong.  We also know how to maintain a successful society.  Yet, instead of getting involved, many ridicule, laugh, and How often do we say the infamous words, “I want to be successful”? It’s interesting, when you ask a child the question of “what do you want to do when you grow up? You get a straight out answer. An astronaut, a fire fighter, a hairdresser, a race car driver… you never get, I want to be successful. Somewhere along the line we lose the creativity of our younger selves and throw our future dreams and visions into the too hard define basket, labelled “Successful”. Then we seem to wander on this path with no guidance or end in sight searching for the holy secret. So what is success? What does it look like? What does it feel like, does it have a smell? A touch? A taste?… Many of us think it is plain silly to think success can have a smell. However, when you think about it, a successful baker would know the smell of a perfectly baked loaf of bread just like a successful florist would know the smell of a perfectly ripened flower. So it’s fair to say that this so called “success” does take the form of many meanings, appearances, tastes, smells and so on, you get the point. The BIG question is though, is there a secret to success?

After reading the books, studying the video’s, meeting the people and endless searching down that very hazy path, it has become clear that there isn’t one. That’s right… there is NO secret to success. Without disappointing all the people out there furiously hunting, do not fear. There may be no secret but there is a formula. After studying, meeting and listening to the likes of Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Tony Robbins, Robert Kyiosaki, and even the ruthless Donald Trump who have all achieved their own version of success and voiced their stories for us to hear, it has become so clear. When they share their stories and the strategies they believe to be responsible for their own success, they are all saying the exact same things, just in their own language. You have Tony Robbins who talks about the importance of your Strategy  and your Peak State. Robert Kyiosaki believes in the power of the wealth creation matrix, which is all about structure making choices. The late Steve Jobs kept it simple with his aim for the stars philosophy which as changed the very world we live in. And we can’t forget Richard Branson’s who’s “screw it, lets do it” attitude and a sense of fun and passion has taken Virgin to over 400 companies of which at least 7 have become Billion dollar successes.

So when you combine all of these strategies, philosophies and key characteristics, you get a flow of elements for success, your very own formula for success, which looks like this:

Know Your Story & What You Believe

We all have different paths, experiences, goals and visions and we all have ways of expressing these. Knowing your story is all about creating clarity around what it is that you stand for. In the relatively short period of time you have on the planet, what is it that you want to:

-          Focus your energy and attention on

-          Create your core values around: Richard Branson’s core values are to experience new things, create new opportunities, break the barriers of impossible and have fun doing it.

-          Be known and remembered for after you are gone: Steve Jobs stated he wanted to put a dent in the universe through challenging the status quo. He will be long remembered for creating and inspiring a revolution in consumer technology.

Actor Will Smith summed it up nicely in an interview some years ago when he said “its easy, it’s knowing what you believe in to the core and knowing that you are will to die for that belief!” This may be considered a little extreme but it’s the passion that burns within.

So what is your story? You need to identify:

-          What you stand for and believe in

-          What you will die for to achieve

-          What your core values are that you live by and will vow never to break

-          What your world looks like around the future you

Create Your Map

Just as when you are off in your car for a road trip to an exotic location you haven’t visited before, you need a map to get there. Your map needs to include some key things:

Goals

Your goals are a descriptive measure of what you aim to achieve. Your goals should follow the SMART principle, which means they need to be

Specific in definition

Measurable in size, time, $

Attainable but still audaciousness

Realistic as to the effort you need to put in to achieve the goals

Timely completion target wrapped around every goal set.

Checkpoints & Look-outs

When you go on a roadtrip, you need to ensure you have checkpoints on your map where you can stop, take a minute to rest and reflect on where you have just come from. This is no different with setting your goals map, you need to incorporate checkpoints where you re-evaluate your position and your goals set and also reflect on what you have achieved along the way.

Rewards

You mustn’t forget to reward yourself for making progress along the way. Often, we set ourselves huge goals and never really see any reward until the goal is achieved or worse, not at all because the hope and motivation is lost to achieve it. Progress rewards are critical and should be mapped. Don’t feel guilty for rewarding yourself early, you will get to the big reward  through your dedication and hard work soon enough.

Taking Action

You can be as smart as Bill Gates, as enthusiastic as Richard Branson, as cunning as Donald Trump or as inspiring as Steve Jobs BUT until you take ACTION on your goals and your map, you will not go anywhere. Action is driven by emotion which is energy in motion. The more positive energy you exert on actioning your goals, the more motion FORWARD you will achieve. You can make the decision to set goals and create your story but you will never achieve your success without the action.

Accountability

So many people create their stories, map their goals and then begin to take action but then something happens and the flame dies. Time goes on, road blocks appear, too many opportunities/distractions arise and the motive to action dies.

You need to hold yourself accountable to someone or something other than yourself. This person/s needs to be someone who is willing to energise you, motivate you and be stern with you when the time calls for it. Someone who could fall into this category is a mentor. However a mentor should be more about providing guidance, knowledge and passing down lessons they have learned from their own experience. It is important that you distinguish with your mentor whether they are happy to take on the role of keeping you accountable, otherwise keep this relationship separate. Be sure to give back as much as you receive with your accountability partner as they are more than likely looking to you to keep them accountable to their own goals just the same.

Know who your Community is

There is a great guy by the name of Seth Godin who has done quite a few talks on TED.com and he emphasizes the need and importance of creating and belonging to Communities. Communities in Simon Sinek’s eyes is a group of like minded people with a set of common values and beliefs. So, on the path to success it is important to be mindful of who your community is. Who are the people you are hanging around, surrounding yourself with? We all know that we have some people around us are energy suckers and haven’t a positive bone in their body. The question you need to ask is, do these people care about me and are they providing benefit and value to what I am all about? do they believe what I believe? Find your Community and surround yourself with people who believe what you believe.

 Just go out and do it!

If you follow these elements, you will undoubtedly achieve your version of success. What does this look like? Only you will know. Will it change along the way? Probably, however if you have fulfilled each of the Success Elements, it shouldn’t deviate too far at all. You are the creator of your own success, just you. It is your choice, but the path is there to follow and it is clear enough and strong enough to lead you to wherever it is you want to end up. So, screw it, just go and do it!

I love the term self-help. It denotes the ability to help oneself overcome anything. In today’s world there are so many things for us to get depressed over we lose focus about the fact that we are in control. Maybe the loss of your job, or loss of a loved one, or life may not be where you would like it financially, spiritually, professionally, or personally. Whatever the case may be I am here to tell you that help is on the way. Luckily, help has arrived, because the person who is here to help is YOU! I like to say Overcome Don’t Become!  What does that mean? Simple, overcome your fear don’t become fearful, overcome addiction don’t become or stay an addict, overcome failure don’t become a failure, overcome negativity don’t become negative, overcome hatred don’t become hateful. Work on overcoming challenges or become a slave to them, but the extraordinary thing about it is the choice is yours and yours alone. Fantastic, but what do I do first? Simple stop blaming everyone and everything for your troubles, WAIT! I can hear everybody yelling at me already. Your situation is different. The universe is conspiring against you people are holding you back. Maybe your mother did not love you enough, a parent, or maybe both were alcoholics, or any of a million of other things have made life difficult for you. I get it there are a million challenges in life, but we have them. True some more severe than others, but they can all be overcome. There are many serious challenges that people have to overcome such as child abuse, sexual abuse, addiction, physical abuse, mental abuse and the list goes on forever. All of these things are horrible, but you cannot continue to blame your troubles on them and use them as your excuse as to why life sucks. You control these issues they do not control you. You are the only person who can stand up for yourself and say I will overcome! Remember Overcome Don’t Become!

The next step is making a list of all the things in life that truly suck, say for instance your job. Then under the heading of job list the reasons why you are doing that job, for example, to pay the bills and put food on the table. Then start thinking about how you got there in the first place, maybe you did not study hard enough in school, or you did not graduate high school, or just did not attend college, all, by the way, when you think about it, are your fault. Even if you quit school to work so you could help your family. It is still your fault; you have not gone back and finished your education. At the very least, you could have educated yourself in a trade, or set money aside even if it is a little at a time to be able to take a class here and there at the community college, or start a small business.

We can all make excuses I’m too old to start over, or I have health issues, or it will take five years to accomplish, and that is too long, or a number of other excuses. Remember start now, and if it takes five years to turn your life around, than it takes five years, so what, stop wasting time and get started. I am here to remind you of this one fact: Time never stops moving forward! So whether you start now and achieve the life you deserve five years from now, or you wait five years to start and achieve the life you want ten years from now, it does not matter to father time because he just keeps moving forward. So why not just start now, because I can guarantee this, five years from now you are going to wish you had started today regardless of how old you may be. When it comes down to it, we do not have the life we dream about because we simply do not want to put in the effort and time to achieve it. It is hard to work two jobs so that you can put money aside, or it is hard to sit in a classroom when you do not like school in the first place. It is difficult to get a divorce even though you are miserable or admit you need marriage counseling. People life is tough, and it never stops throwing challenges at you, but face it without challenges there would be no triumph and life would get a bit boring. Not everything that happens is under your control, but your response to it is. How you perceive things is under your control, and what you do to overcome them is up to you. So remember in your darkest hour ask yourself this question. Will I Overcome or will I Become? I am willing to bet you will find the strength to OVERCOME.

An example of these fraud schemes is the Make Money Fast or MMS schemes. This scheme is very much like chain letters forwarded to people. Make money fast will often claim that it is legal and promises vast sums of money in a short period. It will promise you with too good to be true investment opportunities.

People, especially those who are unlucky are easily deceived into joining this kind of frauds. So why do people believe such things? The only explanation is that they think these schemes are true and that they can afford it.

People tend to think “what do I have to lose?” and another thing is, almost everyone would love to make easy money.

Make money fast schemes usually come in the form of an email. The contents of the letter states that you should send money to some or all the names on the list then include your own name and send the email to other people.

Here are some basic contents in Make Money Fast emails:
• It will usually start with a greeting from the person who created the letter.

• This scheme will include some testimonials from “investors” that will say that it made them a millionaire or made their life easier.

• It will include a list of names and addresses.

• It will state that you have to send a specified amount of money (usually a small amount of money) to some or all the people on the list.

• It instructs you to forward the email to as many people as possible and modify the list of names by placing your own name and address at the bottom and removing one at the top

• It will usually claim that it is legal and will promise you a return on your investment.

There are several variations of this scheme. One common type is that it will instruct you to send money to people as payment for reports.

It will always claim that it is legal and some will include section of the law to confirm the legality, when in fact the very same law will state that it is illegal.

There are also websites that offer these schemes, and often it will look very attractive and legitimate to lure people in investing. It will display pictures of people smiling and will include testimonials. Keep in mind that these are just photos which can be purchased for cents at various graphic sites and also be aware that anyone can make testimonials.

Although some of these websites are legitimate and offer true business opportunities, most are fraudulent. Before you invest, here are some tips on how to distinguish fraudulent sites from legitimate ones.

Fraudulent sites will often offer investment return and big profits that sound too good to be true. An example is that some will offer to convert your $20.00 investment into $50,000.00 in a matter of days and some even millions.

Find out if there is at least a reliable contact address on the website. If it is legitimate, it will include a legitimate phone number and address of the person. Call the phone number and wait for someone to answer to find out if it is in fact legitimate.

Research the website on internet forums to find out if it is a legitimate website or blacklisted. You can also find out if the forums you visited and the website are fraudulent by tracking the IP address. If the IP addresses are the same then it is fraud.

Keep in mind that not all offers on the internet are true. Save yourself from frustration and losing money, and always research before investing in any kind of businesses!
