The most successful relationships are based on mutual respect and affection. Many couples that have been together for 20 years will tell you that their partner is their best friend. The bond with a best friend is your most intimate relationship. You tell your best friend everything. You express yourself openly without fear of being judged. You ask for help and offer help when your friend is in need. You know what this person thinks, feels and values. You laugh together, cry together and support one another through every aspect of life. You learn new things, explore new thoughts, share your feelings and grow together.

A lot of people spend days, even years, looking for the right one. When they find the person, they would have only one desire, and that is to put their best foot forward to make the relationship last. However, sometimes, as the relationship progresses, it is sad to note that the profound fetishes that one liked so much about the other have become so bothersome and aggravating, resulting to painful breakups and broken hearts. There were some interesting comments made and I left one myself, to which Silent Wasp responded with a complete article. I thought I should reciprocate the gesture and take this opportunity to clarify my comment which I believe has been misconstrued.
