Suit has finally been brought against some of the worst offenders, seeking compensation for government’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac who unknowingly bought billions of dollars of worthless mortgage securities from banks during the housing boom. Bankers filled their greedy pockets and left the burden to the taxpayers.
