This article is part one of a two part series of writings that takes a comprehensive look into the Economic, Social, and Political History of women in the United States (1865- Present). It describes the historical struggle women endured to gain voting rights, and to be viewed equal in our society. Today the struggle continues in many countries with many women still bound from ignorance and hate.
