What is going to happen when the world ends.

there are alot of people who believe that the world is truly going to end and there are alot that dont believe it at all. im on the fence about but it would not surprise me if something did happen. I have done alot of reaserch and these are my findings.

The world is not going to blow up. It is going to be a more slow death. Earth is orbiting closer and closer to the sun everyday and because of that we get global warming. By december 2012 it is expected to get so hot that the tectonic plates start to expand and create pressure between them. Most of this pressure is going to be built up in the ocean which is very bad because when they slip they cause tsunamis. this tsunamis are going to be huge and wipe out most of the land.

we will not die a fiery death but a wet one. Get yourself a canoe before time runs out. You can prepare yourslelf in many ways but the best way is to go underground. water does not afect underground things only above ground. you will need to stock up lots of food and water and prepare for the worst. the world will look alot different when you come back put of the ground but aslong as the human race survives we can assure the world will be here for us. If you dont mind sleeping with cows and chickens and pigs bringh them in your bunker too so we can avoid mass extinction. when we surface again we will need animals there with us.

prepare yourself and think a head. refer back to this article as many times as you need and be aware of the consequences if you are not prepared.

Just after the 7.1 scale earthquake, on the Richter scale, New Zealand is hit with another earthquake and this time at one their CDB Christchurch. Christchurch, as seen on the map, is located in the South Island of New Zealand along the eastern coast. This earthquake occurred on 12:51 pm local time on the 22nd of February Local time just five kilometres deep and ten kilometres south of Christchurch with a 6.3 on the Richter scale. Although the new earthquake is New Zealand has been less powerful in terms of the Richet scale, unlike the other earthquake in September which hit suburban areas this one hit a CBD.

This catastrophic earthquake has caused the death of 1455 people and over 200 people are still missing. The cause of this earthquake had been the clash of the Indo-Australian and Pacific plate which was another reason for the huge amount of damage is that most of the buildings destroyed were older than fifty years and they were not earthquake proof. Also the newly discovered fault line near Christchurch which caused the earthquake was unknown. A lot of New Zealand’s seismologists say that the newly discovered fault line was cleverly hidden and could not have been discovered without extensive research.

The many consecutive events of the New Zealand and Australian natural disasters have caused an increase in the cost of living.

“It expected a $NZ3.5 million after-tax hit.” Said Tower managing director Rob Flanagan.

According to Minamoto International the overall loss of the earthquake and its aftershock will be at least $12 billion dollars.

There is no doubt that the cost of living will go up but by how much is still a question because many of the buildings destroyed were partially destroyed by the first earthquake.

Mr. Higginbotham, structural engineer, says that the city will take five years to rebuild and that one in ten buildings was destroyed and the other damaged buildings could be re-built probably.

After the earthquake of September which had a death toll of zero, the tourism in New Zealand was considerably low. Now after the second earthquake in five months it will take a miracle for New Zealand’s economy to pick up. Tourism will most like-ably be, as said by businessweek.com, hammered and since the country was on the verge of recession it will take a long time for New Zealand to recover. It seems almost unbelievable that on the morning of the earthquake it had seemed like a good day for New Zealand’s economy as the wages of milk and dairy product farmers went up by over fifty percent.

The effect on natural environment has been obvious. Liquefaction, where very wet solids start to act like liquids, has occurred across the widespread soil. Many cliff faces have fallen off from the violent shakings and pollution has increased because of all the debris and waste.

Information on death toll and people missing is from 26th of February

Recent studies claim that over 70% of people have had a paranormal experience in their lives, but all of these could be related to tectonic changes, geomagnetic fields, carbon monoxide poisoning or the desire to see patterns in random events.

Anthropologically speaking, the concept of souls lingering on this plane after the body dies is widespread in almost every culture. These may be benign or malignant, the latter often seen as starving or jealous of the living.

Poltergeists (“noisy spirits”) are said to make noise, move objects and appear as apparitions. These apparitions generally resenble humans, but are tranparent and sometimes able to move through walls/objects. Ghosts may also represent the souls of people who have died in a sudden or tragic way and are unable to move onto the next life because of unresolved issues or a desire for vengeance. Other sinister presences may be attributed to demonic forces or other supernatural creatures.

Scientists and paranormal researchers have been trying for decades to quantify and rationalise the countless ghost sightings which occur every year. Some of the earliest tangible proof of the existence of disembodied spirits came from the work of William H Mumler, who was an American spirit photographer active in the 1860’s and 70’s. Mumler’s portraits showed several people accompanied by pale translucent beings in the background of the picture when they were developed. The most famous one of these is of Mary Todd Lincoln with the spirit of her husband Abraham Lincoln. Mumler was later claimed to be a fraud, using double exposure to take advantage of people suffering from grief and clouded judgement.

Several houses all over the world are purported to be haunted, eg. The Lizzie Borden house in America; the site of a double murder, and the Hollywood sign; which actress Peg Entwistle jumped off to commit suicide. The inhabitants of these houses may be suffering from a host of ailments which would explain their claims.

Some scientists have reported a link between geomagnetic changes in the earth’s crust and activation of the temporal lobe of the brain. Stimulation of this area of the brain can cause the person to feel vigorously religious or feel as if there is an ethereal presence in the room. It can also cause hallucinations which take the form of pop culture motifs, most commonly UFOs and aliens.

Low frequency sounds may also be responsible for the subjective feelings of a haunting. Sounds lower than 20 hertz are generally inaudible by humans, but can create feelings of anxiety, sorrow, the chills or the sensation of being watched.

Carbon Monoxide poisoning can also cause abnormalities in visual and auditory perception. Symptoms of poisoning include listlessness, depression, dementia, emotional disturbamces and hallucinations. Phenomena associated with haunted houses including strange visions and sounds, feelings of dread and the sudden and inexplicable deaths of the occupants can be attributed to carbon monoxide leaks from furnaces or gas water heaters.

Pareidolia is the tendency to see patterns within random perceptions. Fpr example, shadows or tricks of the light can be seen to resemble human faces. In other cases, people who expect or want to see ghosts can inaccurately attribute everyday events to supernatural causes, like changes in air pressure resulting in doors slamming, or the headlights of a car reflected in mirrors perceived as sudden flashes of light. In addition, peripheral vision is very sensitive and can be easily mislead, especially at night or when the person is tired – this would account for ghostly apparitions being seen “out of the corner of the eye”.

More research is needed, but as yet, there is no definitive evidence to confirm or deny the existence of ghosts. Subjective experience is the only experience we have of paranormal phenomena and it is yet to be disproven.
