Is it "the end" or the conclusion of the story?

I have had many teachers over the years opposed to “the end”. My high school and college instructors in English frequently threatened a failing grade for including the end at the conclusion of your paper. Must have been the source of a pet peeve somewhere along the way. After all, many movies from my childhood featured a prominent “the end” at their conclusion. In fact I have seen some movies that you doubted where the end was due to it going on and on and on. A “the end” would have been appreciated by the crowd on such occasions.

I saw “The Blob” with my sister as a youngster. It was a science fiction movie about this thing that oozed over you and killed people. As it ate people, it became bigger and bigger. The way it was stopped was by freezing it in a bowling alley. At the conclusion of the movie, to ensure the possibility of a sequel, there was a hole in the frozen part in which the blob seeped out. So, at the conclusion of the movie, a “The End?” with a question mark was appropriately and prominently displayed.

And, as children, we are taught to add “the end” at the conclusion of such productions and writings. To me, it seems harmless. And in the case of “The Blob”, the end was actually the beginning of a sequence of sequels. So the next time you are ending something, be sure to include a “the end” reference and annoy an English teacher near you. Maybe it is just a southern thing. How about it audience? What experiences had you encountered with the “the end” phenomenon? Maybe I just had odd teachers or they just wanted to find one more reason to harass students who had perfect papers. I actually had one English 101 college professor give me a “D” because she did not like my subject matter. Why did she not award an “F” to me? She could not as the paper was grammatically perfect.

William Clark accomplish many things in his life. He was a fearless soldier and he loved to train the men for the Revolutionary War.

William Clark was born on August 1, 1770, the ninth child to John and Ann Rogers Clark. The family moved from Virginia to Kentucky. There was no schools on the Kentucky frontier ,so William had little education. At home he was learned how to plant crops, trap, ride horses, and hunt wild animals for food.

William Clark accomplished many things in his life, such as explorer, mapmaker, peacekeeper, and fearless soldier.

Revolutionary War began in 1775 and William Clark was still a small boy living at home with his parents. The United States won it’s freedom in 1783. In 1789, William joined the militia and became a fearless soldier. He was nineteen years old and stood six feet tall.

In the winter of 1792, the weather was cold and the hats that the men were issued were thin. William taught the men to kill bears and how to make bearskin hats. The bearskin hats helped the men to stay warmer. Much of William’s time in the army was ordering supplies and training soldiers. He was trusted with the responsibility of making sure the men had enough food and supplies.

In 1795, William Clark met Meriwether Lewis, when he joined Clark’s rifle company. In 1796, William Clark returned to his family farm in Kentucky because George, his brother needed the help. In 1799, Clark’s father passed away and left him the family farm.

In 1803, William Clark received a letter from Meriwether Lewis asking for his help to lead an expedition to the Pacific Ocean. President Thomas Jefferson called the men of the expedition, the Corps of Discovery. President Thomas Jefferson wanted them to find a water route to the Pacific Ocean. Clark’s job was to find the strongest and healthiest men to go on this expedition and to train them to be ready for anything.

On May 14, 1804, the expedition started out. Boats were built to carry the men and supplies up the Missouri River. Missouri River was muddy and had several nicknames because of the condition of the water. Clark called the river “Big Muddy” and the Native Americans called it “Smokey Water”.

Where are all the men going? And why are those who are left have such small penises? Is this the beginning of human extinction?

I have some alarming news for us the human species, we are very quickly becoming extinct. In the past 100 years synthesized chemicals have slowly been changing our physiology, especially in males. Studies have shown though out almost every species infertility is a wide spread phenomenon. The males especially are being affected by this chemical soup we have polluted our selves with.

95% of the items we have are made from some for of synthesized chemicals, everything from sheets and bedding, toys and furniture, personal hygiene products, baby products, food and so much more. These chemicals had once thought harmless due to the small amounts used in these products, but constant prolonged exposer is only now being realized as a true threat.

Mothers are having a higher then ever rate in miscarriages and across the world less and less males are being produced. The males that are lucky enough to be born have had a dramatic change in testosterone levels; levels are as low as ever. These levels are causing males to have smaller penises and less sperm count, or in some cases a greater sperm count but the sperm are stupid and can’t find their way. Studies are showing that since the 1950’s male sperm counts have lowered over 50% in some cases, this is also true for many mammals, reptiles and aquatic creatures. Studies also show that their has been a significant rise in testicular cancer in younger men.

What have we done to our selves, our children and our world, and is it too late to fix it? I really don’t have an answer to this; I don’t even know where one might begin. Just take a look around your home, office or car everything in it has been made with synthetic by-products. All our food is filled with preserves and god only knows what else, the soft safe toys we give our infants to play with are made from toxic synthetic chemicals. Everyday we ingest, absorb and breathe in these chemicals. When we put skin cream on, the lovely smell of cleanliness (chemical) is penetrating our bodies.

Many studies around the world have proven just what I am saying, this is no false accusations only truth. The future is a scary place, if we no longer produce males and lose the ability to produce all together where will that leave us, the human species, and not just us but every creature that we share the world with.

I ran my own test of these theories here is what I found….

I live in a small community of 32 houses, there are 15 children under the age of 12 years out of 15 children, their are only 2 boys.

My oldest child in the 5th grade, their are 22 children in her class, she is one of 14 girls leaving only 8 boys.

My youngest daughter, yes I have two girls….my youngest has 18 kids in her class guess how many are boys? Only 5 leaving 13 girls.

Out of the 8 girls I grew up with 5 of them have had kids in total they have 9 kids, 6 girls and 3 boys, not including me who has 2 girls….so 11 girls and 3 boys…

These statistics can be found in almost every city across the world, especially in those cities and towns based in and around large factories, chemical plants, and other related industrial businesses. Do your own test the results may surprise you….

I’m afraid for what the future holds for us aren’t you?
