This is a list of THE best tv channels for you!!!

Do you love the supernatural, or the paranormal, or both? Well, you aren’t alone. Lots of people all around the USA are interested in that stuff too. I have found many tv channels that deliver just the right amount of creeps. Three of them I will talk about below.

We. TV

We.TV is my favorite channel mostly because it has two paranormal shows that I love.

It has Ghost Whisperer, a show about a woman who can talk to ghosts, so she tries to help them finish whatever they stayed behind to do, so that they can go into the light.

It also has Charmed, my most favorite show ever, about three sisters who find out that they are witches , and they use their special powers to protect the innocent… and themselves.

Tnt

Image via Wikipedia

Tnt is on this list for one reason only- it has Charmed.

It also has Angel, Supernatural, and a bunch of other supernatural shows that I haven’t seen yet, but I do plan on watching.

SyFy

Image via Wikipedia

Syfy is a great show for lovers of ghosts and superpowers, etc. The shows on this that I like are Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International.

They both are the same ghost hunting company, just two different teams. They go to haunted locations all over the globe to search for ghosts. They are very professional, and even with all the hard work, they still have time to get in a few laughs.

Day one of Audifan.

I’m Nathan Williams, A.K.A. Audifan, and this will be my blog, about my life on earth, and my life ingame, If you enjoy games such as Minecraft,Runescape,Red dead redemption,Maplestory,EXsteel,Black ops,Modern warfare2, ect.., then this is the blog for you! I post what I do at school and what I do Ingame on this blog, I’ll probably even end up posting some advice, such as dating, starting your own business, help setting up SMP’s or RSPS’s, and tutorials for games, like how to start playing and how to be the best on any game or sport. Right now I’m in 7th period, P.E. Foundations where we dont do anything physical, besides standing up to go to the bathroom or to open the door for people, I dont see why they even have this class its so pointless, I should send IISD an Email on how pointless and wasteful this class is. Also my girl friends starting to piss me off, shes always annoying me and cant go 5 minutes without talking to me. Like yesterday, me and ryan were walking to the car to go home, and right before I even opened the door, she texted me, I dont remember what it said, but I do remember what she sent later that day, I got home and she texted me out of nowhere “Do you want to have an open relationship”(a relationship where you kiss in public and express yourselfs feelings for each other out in the open) but apperently, she had a diffrent definition of the term, she thought it meant, and I quote, (Where we’re still together but we can see other people), I didnt reply at first and then I did, I said “If you want to see other people then maybe we should just break up” But we talked it out and she begged me to forgive her, she kept calling herself stupid, and that annoyed me, she takes classes I take, and shes a freshmen, I’m a softmoar, so if anything shes smart if not smarter then me, at school anyway. Okay enough of my “love” life, Let me tell you what I did yesterday on my Minecraft server. Me and my two friends, Ryan(bestfriend), and Daniel(good friend), where on my server, with random people joining and exiting out of nowhere. Daniel thought it would be a good idea to build his house next to mine, after I told him not too. so I spawned 64 TNT and 64 wooden pressure plates, and i replaced his floor with TNT while he went on a search for wolfs(which he later killed by having it fall into lava). He finnaly found a wolf and came back to put it in his house, and saw the TNT before he walked in, he was mad at me, but I did’nt care, he chased me and killed me, We walked back to his house and as we walked up, a guest to the server walked into his house not knows what TNT was, and lets just say, the 2 story house, was no long 1 story. I plan to release my servers IP on here somewhere on my next post which may be later today if not later this week. Well I’ve gotta go, schools over in less then 12 Minutes and my teachers yelling at us because were all failing. thanks for reading!

                                                   -Audifan

Keen on sense of smell, honeybees are helping find unexploded landmines in Croatia.

Scientists at the Zagreb University are training honeybees to help locate unexploded landmines in Croatia! Using the bees keen sense of smell, they are trained to associate the smell of explosives with food, so they settle on the ground where the mines are buried.

Croatia has a serious landmine problem, inherited from wars in the 1990’s. More than 1,000 square kilometres of Croatian countryside is thought to be contaminated by mines. More than 100 people have been killed by mines in the past 12 years, and about 250,000 mines are still buried.

Professor Kezic says that the training of bees only takes 3-4 days, they spend the first day in a large net tent with the scent of TNT and food in it, and they associate them. Afterwards, some of the bees are taken out and tested to see if they can locate explosives.

Other animals have been trained to do things like this as well, such as the Gambian giant pouched rats. Similar to the bees, they’re trained to associate the smell of food and TNT with each other. Dogs can also be used to help find mines, seeing as they have a good sense of smell, but aren’t common due to their weight, and it being possible for them to set off the mines.

This is a look at some of the cartoons we grew up loving and their eventual demise. We started with Steamboat Willie and are now at SpongeBob SquarePants and an era of slapstick has sadly ended.

Image via Wikipedia

Although Benjamin Franklin may have had the first political cartoon published in the “Pennsylvania Gazette” on May 9, 1794, it was Walt Disney’s “Steamboat Willie” that began the era of talking cartoons on November 18, 1928. Saturday mornings were filled with a wide array of humor and slapstick and it kept all of us kids glued to the television like suction cups sticking to a glass window pane.

I loved Tom and Jerry. Hanna and Barbera/MGM ran this series of literally cat and mouse hilarity, from 1940 to 1958. In 1953 “Johann Mouse” was a story about a waltzing mouse who loved music by “Strauss” and whenever he heard the music he would dance. Naturally, each time Jerry would waltz, Tom who was the house cat, would endlessly try to snare his prey. This cartoon earned “Tom and Jerry” their seventh Oscar at the 25th Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film.

Is there a person or character that can ask, “Eh, what’s up doc” better than Bugs Bunny? Bugs Bunny is the Looney Tunes mascot for Warner Brothers and was endeared to the American viewing audience for decades. The sarcastic hare made many phrases both famous and popular and they include, “What a maroon” (his way of saying moron), “Of course you realize, this means war,” “Ain’t I a stinker,” “What a rube,” and “I knew I should have taken that left turn in Albuquerque.” Bugs was usually the winner in the conflicts he had with the likes of “Yosemite Sam,” “Elmer Fudd,” “Daffy Duck,” and even “Wile E. Coyote.”

“Heckle and Jeckle” were the vinyl black magpies that first appeared in 1946. These two characters represented what it was like to constantly be on the lookout for a free ride. Terry Toones owned “Heckle and Jeckle” and provided us with the humor of two birds who were really nothing more than con artists seeking a free meal, free lodging and basically just a free ride in life.

If you think chipmunks are cute, and I certainly do, then the cartoon to watch was “Chip and Dale.” These adorable critters were born in 1943 and gave us a look at a dim witted Dale and the ever scheming Chip. There were two subtle differences between Chip and Dale. Chip had only one tooth and a small black nose, while Dale had two teeth and a large red nose.

Who can not remember having their sides split open to the antics of the “Road Runner” and “Wile E. Coyote?” The theme song still runs through my head. “Road Runner the coyote is after you. Road Runner, if he catches you you’re through.” Beep, beep, these two arch rivals burst onto the scene on September 17, 1949 and together they were featured in 48 cartoons. Poor Wile E. Coyote, always purchasing destructive apparatuses from the Acme Company, only to have all of them fail him miserably. We laughed as Mr. Coyote was blown up by TNT and flattened like a pancake by boulders as the Road Runner would streak by leaving him in a cloud of dust.

“I’m Popeye the Sailor Man, I’m Popey the Sailor Man, I’m strong to the finich, cause I eats my spinach, I’m Popey the Sailor Man, toot, toot.” Popeye first sailed into the comic strips on January 17, 1929, as a middle aged, one eyed, pipe smoking sailor with thinning hair. He was a mild mannered character who spoke with a speech impediment and his nemesis was none other than Bluto/Brutus, the disgustingly over bearing, bearded man, forever chasing Olive Oyl. Popeye operated under a code of moral ethics, unlike his father Poopdeck Pappy. If Popeye was pushed too far, then look out because once he ate his can of spinach he was transformed into our first super hero. I ate tons of spinach as a kid, as I am sure most of my peers did as well. We wanted the kind of strength and power Popeye could deliver.

The above classics are all but forgotten now and replaced by politically correct cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants. Apparently, the generation I grew up in was exposed to an excess of violence in cartoons. People were blown up, incinerated, squashed and beaten up with a visual of stars floating above their blackened eyes. They limped on crutches and wore casts and were covered in band-aids, but as children, we knew it wasn’t real.

What our parents felt was harmless entertainment in the 1950’s and 1960’s is no longer an accepted norm. On the contrary, children of today are protected from all types of violent acts, even if they are portrayed in a cartoon format. Has this change helped in making society less aggressive? I certainly don’t think so, but hey, you be the judge. BAM! SQUISH! KABOOM! CUCKOO, CUCKOO!
