Tomorrow…ah!…such a beautiful word….tomorrow is when I will be better…be free…I will do what is needed. 
When I have time, tomorrow I will meditate. And tomorrow is when I will definitely stop postponing…ah! tomorrow.what a magic word..it does make today worthwhile…

    It is not only a word. For many it is a state of mind. It does come naturally when someone thinks of changing some behavior, changing a situation in a relation at work or in the couple or even an health problem. Whatever will make life better will always come tomorrow. It is almost a normal fact of life when you think that, naturally, any change needs time to develop. Logically, it takes time to move from point A to point B. But is it so in every thing that needs changing?

     Our mind functions with tomorrow. It cannot cope with now. The present is more about feelings then thoughts. We are usually so busy in our minds in that present moment that evidently, whatever we discover through our thoughts in that moment, no matter how much beneficial it could be for our selves , will have to come another time,,tomorrow..later. 

    There is a transformational force in the present moment when we don’t drift into thoughts and remain vigilant of our feelings and sensations. Relaxing, breathing. watching and specially not needing to go anywhere then where we are now, this magical moment of now. 

This morning I received an Independence Day Eve SMS from an Uncle in his late 60’s. Usually the tone of such a message is celebratory in nature. This year however I was surprised to see a satirical message that reflected layers of pain beneath it. On second thoughts, I was not that surprised considering the mass expressions of disappointment and rage at the system that has unravelled over the years, and kind of had a season peak over the last year.

Senior Generation

When I called my Uncle to check if I had indeed interpreted the nuance of his message rightly, he confirmed about his growing need to distance himself away from the celebrations year after year. In his early years, he said, he would eagerly wait for the big day and dressed in white, he would ensure he was on time for the flag hoisting at the Parade Ground. But over the years, as the activities of the scamsters and the corrupt unfolded, he, like millions of others, found themselves wondering if they had really achieved Freedom. Or was it limited to the Corrupt?

Contemporary Generation

I had a growing need to check with my peers as to whether they would attend this year’s celebrations. I quickly made a few phone calls to get the replica answers of what I had already assumed to be the case. For my generation (30’s), it was a case of indifference that had crept in over a period of time. Like one of them aptly put it, “Convenience over Values”, which translated to “As long as I get my work done, I’m willing to compromise on certain values. After all, I’m only a passive contributor to corruption. Catch the big fishes first.” That kind of summarized the growing restlessness with the system. The maximum contribution we allow ourselves is to stop consuming alcohol, turn into a vegetarian for a day and paint the tri-colour on our faces and pin-up little flags on our sleeves. It’s just another event for most of us…

Next Generation

I then checked with my ten year old nephew if he was going to be a part of the Big Day. His answer, or should I say question, was pretty simple. “Our teachers told us it was not compulsory. So, why go?” Now that is the next generation that we are pitching our gallons of hope on, to create some miraculous sense of values and bring back the lost glory to our Freedom Years. Holiday seems like a bigger reason to celebrate than the Independence!

The Future

The future looks bleak. I’m tempted to arrive at a happy ending to my reverie by proclaiming that there is some distant flicker of hope in the generations to come. But whom am I fooling by doing so? Isn’t it just like when you say “Tomorrow I will be a better person. I will bid my flaws adieu.” While the reality is, you have only “NOW” to make those amends. There will be no tomorrow, for it will always be “Today” when it arrives.

So guess it’s time to stop passing the buck to the next generation. And we all know in our hearts somewhere that we have all failed. Our little drops of inaction have also contributed to the current status of our nation. And the whole of last year has been a disastrous wake-up call. This is our last chance. Are we willing to rise from the ashes? Only time will tell.

Every day is a new day. Every day brings new joy. Every day invokes new problems. Each day can carry a lot of concern.
You decide you’ll just be happy today. And just so you decide the next day. 

Do not be always worried. Do not worry about everything. Do not worry about small things. If you are worried about small things, they can become big problems. Let the small things stay small things and not always worry about them.
Do not worry, be happy.

It is time to Seize every moment. 

It is time to be grateful for every moment. It’s time to live in the present moment. 

The only day that will never get it ”tomorrow”. When ”tomorrow” comes, it becomes today.

It is time to do anything you want to do. Expand your world view. Expand your mind. Allow yourself the best. You deserve only the best. 

Let not be so many important things are not quite so important. Do not devote your precious time to what you boring and irrelevant, or not comfortable.

Living your life with love, joy and peace. You live a full life. 

Be grateful. Be happy. Enjoy the little things. Then little things can bring great pleasure. Enjoy the sunrise. Enjoy the sunset. Enjoy every orbit of the sun. Enjoy the trajectory of your life.

Always look positive side. Certainly there is always a positive side. In the worst moments it is possible to find a bright side.

Do not think that your problems are big. They are so insignificant. Remember that there is something much bigger. Much larger than anything in this universe.

                                                                            Life!

            A lot of us see tomorrow as another day to do something great and to prove one’s self. This is usually symbolized by the rising of the sun on the horizon, indicating the start of a new day; the start of tomorrow for those of us who believe in the beauty of hoping. Tomorrow is such symbol of hope for a student who flunked his exams. Tomorrow is his second chance to prove his worth and redeem himself.  

            But tomorrow can also be a symbol of fear, fear that everything that has happened in this present day might change the very next day. As they say, nothing is permanent and change is inevitable, thus producing a fear in tomorrow, such is the businessman who cannot sleep at night worrying about the future of his business, wherein which the future of his family relies on, is afraid that after tomorrow, he might lose his business and go bankrupt. Change is a component of tomorrow and such change is necessary in life.

            Either we fear or hope to see tomorrow, it is sure that tomorrow will always come. Until man still walks this earth, he shall never lose sight of tomorrow; it shall always be there on the horizon, showering people in warm embraces. Tomorrow is the start of a new day, and yes, things will be different again tomorrow, but this difference is what we humans truly live for as we cannot bear to live each day the same way over and over again.

            What is tomorrow for you? Do you value it? Or do you dread to see it unfold each day? Nevertheless, the sun will rise everyday and everyday is a chance for us to become greater than who we were yesterday. 

Tip #1: Think only of the present

It is quite common that people filled with worries and fear do tend to think more about their immediate future and dwell more on facing the uncertain future. In the bargain, what they forget to notice is that the present is being totally lost or wasted in dwelling about the future.

The first and foremost thing that everyone should do is to focus on the present. It may be noted that “yesterday is history” – and – “tomorrow is mystery”. Only the present or today is what you have in your hands. Make the most of it and the future will be taken care of as and when it becomes present.

Tip #2: Don’t shy away from problems – FACE it

One more reason for the depressed state of mind, in most cases, is the fear about the future or the problems/obstacles that cause anxiety or tension.

You may not be aware that fear about the problems is more worse than the actual problems, in many cases.

Once you make up the mind to tackle the problems head on instead of just worrying on the possible outcomes, then you will find it more useful to find solutions to the problem. Instead of dwelling on the problems, if you face it head on, then you will be surprised to note that the problems were not so severe as you had been imagining or worrying about.

If you decide to take on the problems, then your energy will be channelized in finding solutions for the problems and not on worrying about the problem. Action will take precedence and then you will find relief from the worries about the problems. Thus, you can find relief from the depression.

Tip #3: Every problem has its own solution – understand it

Every problem stays as a problem as long as you do not understand it. Realizing the problem, finding the causes for the problem either by searching for solutions from outside sources such as books or internet, or simple discussing with the friends or well wishers, might provide meaningful insights and may help in finding the solutions for the problem.

By trying to implement one or all of the above mentioned simple tips, one can find relief from the depression.

- Schedule a time to have sex with the wife / husband you. With the rescheduling of a spouse can prepare and finish the job before making the relationship so that there is nothing else that would interfere with both activities.

- Create a romantic atmosphere. You both can go to a place that raises memories of love both for example to the cinema, restaurants where you both really feel love and be loved. Say romantic things that can increase the sense of love between the two.

Prepared as best as possible. You can prepare yourself by buying sexy underwear (for the wife) and change the hairstyle so that the husband will see a different look than usual and can lead to sexual arousal to you. Try to keep physically fit and use a perfume for husband / wife you love close to you.

- You can try to touch your partner. The touch can be a hug, a light massage that can arouse your sex drive. You can include massaging each other on the back, legs, or just stroked her hair and whispering words in her ear affectionately.

If you do not intend to have sex, give reasons that will not offend your partner and promises to do it the next day and you have to keep their promises have been made.

Everyday seems ordinary.  We do things routinely.  Everything is like a repetition.  A simulation of stuffs we got accustomed to.  We lived our life for tomorrow. We consumed what we have today and reminisced all the good and bad times of yesteryears. Some of us splurged on some things which others only dreamt of. Some are contented to just sigh while sitting on their windows, waiting for the shooting stars. Some dares to dream while some got no nerve to even try.

On your way to work and back home, how many faces have you met? Some are strangers and most of them are old. Maybe few are pleasant and most are rude? Did you deal with them justly? And did they do the same?You never knew who passed by you. It could be a mogul, tycoon, philanthropist, philosopher, artists, missionaries or an ordinary Joe. One of them might have influence you but you never knew. Would you care to grasp when your thoughts are preoccupied by premonitions of tomorrow?

You might have the chance but you spoil it. Doors had swing and shut. Windows had open and locked. Gates were gaped and crashed. Yet you stay still, glued and maybe…gobsmacked? It may have glided on your hands like a slithery silk. Would you care on a piece of cloth that has thousand replicas? Maybe not. But what if it is the only fabric and that suits the design? But how would you know? We will never…..because every day is a gift box waiting to be open. You will be surprise to see its content. You may or may not like how it is presented. But that’s the way it is. Are you that kind who hates surprises? Well, I do. But unless you want to preempt what’s in store for you, it would be best to submit your full trust of what fate might brings you.

Each day ain’t ordinary day. What happened today will be history and what’s in store tomorrow is something worth our wait. What you are doing today is what you are capable of and if tomorrow bring changes or not, it’s not for us to preempt. Everyday is a SURPRISE.

U is also for Utopia that’s what we’re building here!

When we introduce the idea of a Utopia we are not talking about the kind of Utopia that was presented in the novel “Brave New World,” where people found themselves sedated with pills and medication. We are talking about the kind of world where we are angelz and we get to live our dreamz and share in each other’s dreamz. Our dreamz could be simple, plain, and ordinary. They don’t even have to be inspirational like the Martin Luther King Jr. speech “I Have A Dream.” My oldest son’s college professor would like nothing more than to be a Fisherman. That’s a fine and dandy dream, and we as angelz could help share in his dream. Actually we will start off as human beings first and morph into angelz later as my oldest son puts it. This will be a process. We will go through a series of trials where we will prove that we are Good.

In this existing system based on money or in this monetary system may be we could play out the “Brewster’s Millions” skit and just go out there and spend all that money and just have a Good time.  It doesn’t matter says my oldest son. All that matters is being Good. “Being Good is the foundation for all Good things to come.” We stand by this statement. The money of today will turn into toy money or play money tomorrow. Remember in the existing system a hierarchical structure exists and we will need those at the top of the hierarchy to help sponsor us. We will need billionaire sponsors. Where shall we find such sponsors?

The Utopia and How it works:

We would organize and plan our dreamz together as a team. It is like U are an actor on television. U get a chance to play out different roles. One day U are working a hotdog stand in Coney Island and the next day U are in a corner office overlooking the Hudson River. We alternate roles and positions. One day an angel lives their dream and the next day that angel shares in another angel’s dream. When we share in each other’s dreamz it become implicit or implied that we are Good. It could be said that we are angelz. It is important to note that in this system we are all leaders because we all have dreamz that are unique to us. It is important that we learn to trust each other. This will have to be earned through a series of trials. We must also find forgiveness in our heartz. More to follow (MTF). For those billionaires out there no sacrifices need to be made. If U enjoy living in a system based on money or enjoy living in the monetary system then money could still be there. It is just that it will be treated as toy money or play money. It won’t matter. This notion could be seen as being fantastical.

My oldest son would like to setup a dream committee or a dream board to help review and approve our dreamz. My oldest son would like to hand out dream slips to angelz in Coney Island. Remember if all your dreamz are guaranteed there’s no reason for them not to “Be Good.” We stand by this statement. The only time you would have a bad dream is if there is bitterness left in your heart. We might have to go through a cleansing process.

My oldest son’s boxing name is “Be Good” although he is no longer a boxer.

As Utopians we also believe in equality. We believe we are different and the same. We stand by this statement. We do not believe in the military and reporting to a commanding officer. We do no believe in rank. We believe we should all be equals and work together as a team.

As angelz we are assigned roles. There could be an “Angel All” and there could be an “Angel In.” If U put them together U get “All In.” Get it? How incredible is that? They work together. There could also be more than one “Angel In.” There doesn’t just have to be one “Angel In.” Someone else could share in this role. Another example is there could be an “Angel Good” and an “Angel Weather.” If U put them together U get “Good Weather.” That is what we would experience in a Utopia: “Good Weather.”

Most theory is introduced at the University level in a controlled environment. Therefore, if we would ever like to put the theory in place for our Utopia this would begin at the University level.

Consider the following: We just happened to be born into a system based on money or a monetary system. We could have very easily been born into a system based on genuine love and kindness.

An important note: Einstein states in his theory of relativity that it is all relative, but as long as poverty, homelessness, and starvation exist out there how could it all be relative? Sound funny? It isn’t. This is kind of a twister.

Let’s keep going.

How do we beat out vanity?

One way is by sharing in awards, trophies, and prizes (accolades for that matter). Competition cannot exist.

We should play freely like children dancing in the fields or as angelz flying high into the bright blue sky.

As Utopians we believe in the integration of all religions. We believe in Interfaith and when we talk about Interfaith we are talking about all religions! Some religions include: Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and other religions. We borrow principles and beliefs from all religions and try to only look at the Good.

My oldest son believes in the following: “If we all just loved each other there would be nothing stopping us from giving each other the shirts off our backs. There does not need to be a Department of Defense (DoD) in the United States government and there does not need to be a Judicial Branch neither. Someone could have bad credit and no money, but if they are loved someone could take them off the street and let them live in their home. That’s how U beat the system. That’s how we could all survive.”

As Utopians we are on a mission to “Save The Planet.” My oldest son already has an idea on how we could end the War in the Middle East. He also thought of a way to get rid of all the smog and deadly toxins in the air and still have cars run on gasoline. How incredible is that? There could be fresh clean air in cities like Los Angeles and Houston. My oldest son believes Los Angeles really is the City of Angelz. It has just been corrupted. The City of Angelz will need to go through a cleansing process.

In a Utopia all our dreamz are guaranteed so there is no need to get angry or upset at anyone or anything. There does not need to be any kind of revolution or uproar. We will be motivated to wakeup each morning to live our dreamz and share in each other’s dreamz.

   First, remember Paretto Principle: 20% effort brings 80% result. You don’t have to work 100% of your time, you are not able to. So, be very efficient 20% of your time and you will have FUNtasic results. The rest 80% of your time you can simply relax and have FUN.
   Second, forget perfection. Nobody’s perfect. Don’t go for it, as there is no such thing as perfection. Get out there. Get a start. Start doing things NOW.
   Third, FUN and WIT. Have fun and do Whatever It Takes. Always. Life if about fun, remember. Whatever you do, pretend it is a game and have FUN.
   Fourth, learning is good. So is teaching. You don’t understand the subject unless you start teaching someone.
   Fifth, if you want to be wealthy, study wealth. If you want to be healthy, study health. And so on.
   Sixth, make sure that your outcome includes your income. In other words, you cannot be a good Mother Theresa unless you know how to get money.
   Seven, find your own unique niche. It is not that difficult as every person is unique.
